First, note that I've started a Facebook page; Quick Collect - QCI Abuses. Please post there so that a legislative and legal effort can get underway.
They illegally posted an account on my minor daughter's credit report, apparently for a number of years. Did nothing to inform me of the account and accumulated a great deal of interest on the account.
If I'd been contacted, the account could have been taken care of years ago.
The QCI solution. They refused to provide written confirmation that they would delete the account off my daughter's credit report and hung up on me before we could even discuss the interest.
They have now filed suit over a supposed $163 balance, though they are now asking for over $400. If their client, Peace Health, or they had done anything to bill me earlier or would have been willing to hear anything I might have to say on the phone, I would have paid the thing years ago.
I believe they intentionally take years to contact debtors so that they can rack up interest charges on otherwise small balances. The state of Oregon allows an automatic interest charge by statute and they take advantage of this.
Please help change this and other collection practices by finding me on Facebook: Quick Collect - QCI Abuses.
I have some info I hope maybe helpful to you, I am working with the FTC. Grace
Quick collect employees are ruse and disrespectful. My bill was paid over 5 years ago and they refuse to send me a copy of the bill stating the original debtor and me as the payee. Can't get a supervisor or any help. There must be only two people working in the office. What can I do to get a copy
All so familiar. There living it up in Cyprus while ripping us off! Again support time talk action group. Found on face book. There in league with one another! Starting to look like a Danny dyer movie. The business. Definitely !
I am currently in a dispute with Quick Collect Inc. as well, they are refusing to supply me with the original creditor information from a medical bill back in 2010 and have stated they supplied it to me in 2014 and they don't have to give it to me again. When I asked if they have proof of me receiving the documents they said they never received any returned mail so that is their proof. The original debt was $214 and now the account is over $655 and they filed a judgement against myself and my ex-husband in 2015. I have asked for a copy of the signature confirmation for the court documents and they informed me that they don't have them and I would need to obtain them directly from the court. They are unwilling to work with anyone and will not comply with Fair Credit Reporting laws in regards to giving consumers proof of the validity of the debts. I believe they purchased the account from another collection agency and don't have the documentation.
Bit unsure admittedly but wasn't quick collect mentioned on watch dog! Sure they were if not! Seems to be going that way!
It's illegal for QCI to pursue a 10 year old bill. Despicable.
Call Josh Trigsted. He's great

they just contacted my husband over a debt that is over ten years old. we NEVER knew about this debt until now and now they are asking for hundreds in interest. i told him not to pay because it sounds fishy. i'll check out the Facebook account.
they shouldn't be able to get away with this crap.
There in league with timetalk all acting unlawfully very rude, just hoping they realised not to go to the next level. I told them I have no intention of paying for terrible service and for something I have not received. Take a look at time talk action group. Found that on face book. Sums them up while living the up life in Cyprus I guess!
They have just contacted me that they have been assigned by timetalk to collect an outstanding balance that i owe apparently two years ago which I know nothing about. i have contacted them to provide evidence of the outstanding balance but till date they haven't provided it but the suppose quick collect representative keep calling me and threatening me with lawsuit.
