My daughter and I reserved a room here on 11/10/23. When we checked in there was only one person working the lobby. I guess they were under staffed which is understandable. Our room was a Non-Smoking King size room. When we opened the door to go in there was no air flow and it smelled really bad. We go in and as soon as we step over the threshold there were insects flying all over the room. We go to the bed to check it, which I always do. The sheets and comforter was all wrinkled up. I pull all the covers back and there is dirt and hair all over the sheets and pillows. I finished the walk through by going to look at the bathroom. The vent was hanging off the wall exposing wires and there were dirty towels hanging behind the door. There was also hair all over the tub. I went back to the office and asked for a set of sheets and told them I would be glad to change them myself if they would give them to me. The lady at the desk told me they did not have anymore sheets. I was like, this is a hotel and you are telling me you don't have any clean sheets? I asked her when they would have some and she proceeds to tell me in the morning. I went back up to the room and called the Red Roof Corporate number. They were nice and tried to help. He asked me if he could get me another room there would I be satisfied but unfortunately they were all booked. He then asked me if he was able to get me a new set of sheets would I be satisfied. I told him I would still be upset but I guess it would work because I really didn't want to drive home late after our event. He proceeds to put me on hold while he called the front desk of the Hotel. A few minutes later he come back on the line and said he called twice and could not get an answer. I then tell him to file the complaint and we are leaving because I can't see spending the night in this place. He told me he understood and I should be hearing back from corporate in 48 hours. Well 48 hours passed and I finally just had to call them again. I finally got a response from them and they told me to sign up for RediPoints on redroof.com and they were going to give me a goodwill gesture of 2125 points to go to a future reservation. Well, I did that and you can't even get a $25 gift card to a restaurant for those points. It showed it took 7500 points to get a free night stay at a Red Roof Inn. I replied to the email and told them I was not accepting that offer. Needless to say, I have not heard back.
