I had purchased our tickets through Fandango, a platform I have relied on for seamless transactions in the past. The booking process went smoothly, and we were excitedly looking forward to the screening. My son and I arrived at the theater on time and were granted entry without any issues. However, shortly after the movie began, we were approached by the theater manager and he ordered us to change our seats.
I informed the manager that I had purchased those seats and showed him my digital tickets so I wanted to stay sitting in our seats. The manager said it didn't matter and called security which escorted us into the hallway. We were utterly taken aback and bewildered by this turn of events. In the hallway I again reminded the manager that I had purchased those seats and was being moved for seemingly no reason. The manager was very disrespectful to my son and me. After informing the manager that I have a medical disability and that he can not behave like that, he called the police to escort us out of the theater .It was very distressing for my son and me, who were excited about seeing the movie and were left disappointed and upset. Let me also mention that we did not receive any refund for movie tickets and snacks we purchased.
