It’s a scam, stay away
My kids used this service for a school year. They did not receive any of the completion certificates for a single class they completed. (About 8-10 classes each) I repeatedly reached out requesting the time frame for when I’d have them and got different answers each time. Final verdict was June. It is now the end of July and Still no certificates. So my children went through a whole year with no record to prove what they completed or learned. When it came to the graded assignments it took over 3 months just to get those graded and back to us. Customer service is hard to reach, they have a phone number on their website that also doesn’t work. We have also been unable to access their school emails. Overall I dont recommend this program for homeschool students at all. I spent hundreds of dollars over the year paying for this to come out the end with literally nothing to show for it. They also 100% false advertise the amount of classes they offer and how extensive they are. Most lessons are very short, especially the elective courses. My kids somehow finished a whole year in like a month. The lessons are also not very interactive, which is another claim they make. They offer a money back guarantee but when I requested to be refunded for just the past 2 months at the least they refused.this company is nothing but a scam. The owner of this company has also been known to harass parent via Facebook over honest and truthful opinions of his horrible company. Do some digging, you’ll find everything you need between reviews and a quick Facebook search.
Review of Remote Learning School: Great Program with Engaging Contests, but One Flaw
I recently enrolled my son in Remote Learning School and despite some issues, I am mostly happy with their program. One of my favorite things about this school is that they hold many contests for their students throughout the year. It's a great way to keep their minds engaged and to give them a chance to showcase their skills. However, there was one particular event where I felt that my son was not given the recognition he deserved, hence the one-star rating.
My son participated in the Remote Learning School's Annual Science fair and secured 2nd place. He worked really hard on his project called "A Smart Device to Detect Potholes on the Road Using Machine Learning". To be honest, I was a bit disappointed that he didn't get the 1st place for his great effort. Of course, I am proud of him for getting a fantastic score, but I believe that his contribution was even better than that.
The project that got 1st place was "The Effect of Magnetism on the Growth of Pea Plants". While I am sure it was a good project, I personally think that solving the issue of potholes is a more practical approach to take compared to analyzing the effect of magnetism on pea plants. With potholes being a persistent problem that affects everyone, I believe my son's project could actually have a more significant impact on people's way of life.
Despite my disappointment, I attempted to appeal the decision, but eventually came to know that the judge's decision was final. As they say, life is not always fair and we just move on. However, I noticed the Halloween costume contest coming up next, but my son has less interest in it since he's more into science stuff.
On the whole, Remote Learning School is still an excellent online institution, and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a remote educational platform for their children. With virtual classes, homework assistance, and engaging contests, Remote Learning School offers students the perfect opportunity to study, learn with enjoyment, and be recognized for their accomplishments.
Remote Learning School: An Affordable, Engaging & Exceptional Educational Resource for the Entire Household
Remote Learning School (remotelearning.school) has been a blessing to my family. With three kids in different grade levels, ages 14, 12, and 9, it can be quite expensive to enroll all of them in other programs. However, with RemoteLearning, all I have to do is pay one membership fee and it covers the entire household. The set up was easy, and my kids quickly adapted to the platform.
We started using Remote Learning School last year during the pandemic when public schools struggled to transition to remote learning. Remote Learning School provided a solid education for my children during a difficult time. Now that my kids have returned to in-person learning, Remote Learning School is still a must for their education. They have access to hundreds of lessons, including second language classes, musical instruments, and dance classes, which are not offered in school. My 9-year-old son is excited about learning Korean since he likes K-Pop, while my 12-year-old daughter enjoys the online ballet lessons. My 14-year-old son is learning to play electric guitar. The lessons are enjoyable and engaging, and my kids are motivated to learn.
What I appreciate about Remote Learning School is that my children can learn at their own pace. They can revisit lessons if they did not understand the first time. The teachers are knowledgeable and supportive, and they provide feedback to ensure that my children are progressing. The platform is user-friendly, and my children are able to navigate it effortlessly.
I highly recommend Remote Learning School to parents who want to provide their children with an exceptional education. It is affordable, engaging, and provides access to a wide range of subjects. My little munchkins enjoy learning on Remote Learning School and have grown immensely in their knowledge. I am grateful for this wonderful resource that has enriched their educational experience.
Review: Remote Learning School - Knowledgeable Teachers & Convenient Learning
Plus, the teachers at RLS are very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. They make the classes interactive, engaging and fun, which make my kids enjoy their online classes even more. The teachers are also available for one-on-one sessions if my children need additional help, which is really reassuring.
What I also appreciate about RLS is the convenience of remote learning. I don’t have to worry about driving the kids to their activities after school, or coordinating with different teachers and locations. Everything is online, and my children can attend the classes from the comfort of our own home. This saves our family a lot of time and hassle.
Now, I will say, that there have been some technical difficulties here and there. Sometimes the video and audio quality is not the greatest, and occasionally the website can be a little slow. But overall, the experience has been positive and we have not encountered any major issues.
Overall, I highly recommend Remote Learning School for any family who wants to provide a comprehensive and affordable education for their children. It’s a great resource for busy families who want to give their children opportunities for extracurricular activities and additional academic support.
Remote Learning School: The Ultimate Online Education Platform for Kids
I want to share my experience with Remote Learning School (remotelearning.school) and what made me choose this online education platform for my kids. One of the main reasons is that my children get a student ID card and their own professional/educational school email address. I believe that these tools are important things to have for every kid, whether you are home-schooling or just using the Remote Learning School as a supplement to strengthen your child's in-person education at school.
My kid is already getting familiar with using email to communicate, and the email account comes with parental controls, which is helpful, especially for younger children. As a parent, I appreciate having control over what my child can access and who they can communicate with. Both the student ID and email account can also be used to get student discounts both online and locally, so the membership eventually pays for itself.
I would suggest registering today before all the good email addresses are taken, such as FirstnameLastname or FirstnameInitial. If you register now, you will probably get a better email address that your child can keep as long as they are a member. And, if you choose a yearly or lifetime membership, the email address is theirs forever, which will help them during their entire school life. Having an educational extension in their email address, instead of a generic one like g-mail or hot-mail, is valuable for a kid.
Overall, I highly recommend Remote Learning School for families who are looking for an online education platform. It provides many benefits and tools for both parents and children to enhance their learning experience.
Remote Learning School: A Great Program for Flexible and Safe Online Education
This Remote Learning School (remotelearning.school) is a great program and offers many features that other schools don't. It is definitely worth the value.
Each kid gets their own school email address where they can store up to 100mb of content. Although it may not be enough for lots of videos, it is sufficient for educational purposes and communicating with family members and friends. One great thing about this email service is that it comes with parental controls to ensure the students' safety.
In addition, every child is assigned a school ID that can be printed or used digitally. This ID offers students discounts on various software and other items both online and offline. The JuniorFolio is a place where various achievements and certificates can be stored. This allows parents and students to showcase their accomplishments and be proud of their achievements.
The school also offers a top-notch press ID. This is especially great for students who enjoy writing for the school magazine.
The program's classes are pre-recorded and can be taken by the students whenever they have free time. There are tons of subjects to choose from, making the program very flexible.
Membership fees are very reasonable and flexible. Parents can choose monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or lifetime membership. A lifetime membership is the best value, and it covers the entire family/household. This can save parents a lot of money and make the program even more appealing.
Registering for the Remote Learning School program is very convenient because everything is done online and through email.
Customer service is excellent, and parents can ask questions and make inquiries through email or the program's Facebook page. While they usually reply very fast, there might occasionally be a delay in response during busy school weeks.
In conclusion, Remote Learning School (remotelearning.school) is a great program with many features that students and parents can benefit from. We hope this review helps you make an informed decision.
Remote Learning School Review: Superior Curriculum & Flexible Schedule for Educational Success
I'm a mother of two children aged 8 and 11, and I have to tell you about our experience with Remote Learning School (RLS). We've been with them for two years now and couldn't be happier. When the pandemic hit last year, our local school couldn't launch virtual learning for several weeks. Luckily, I had the foresight to enroll my children with RLS, so they didn't miss out on their education. In fact, they were ahead of their classmates when it finally launched. That's because the RLS curriculum is far superior to anything else out there.
When you enroll your kids with RLS, they receive their own student ID Card and school email address. Their achievements are tracked in their JuniorFolio, which will undoubtedly be helpful when they apply to college in the future. I know it might seem early to think about college now, but every little bit helps. The RLS platform is incredibly flexible, allowing my children to study according to their own schedules. There's no pressure to finish all their coursework in one go, and the lessons are engaging and fun, so they stay motivated.
Aside from the core classes such as Math and ELA, RLS offers a wide range of subjects including music lessons, foreign language studies, and more. It's fantastic to see my children learn new and exciting things that they might not have had the chance to in a traditional school.
Overall, I'm thrilled with everything RLS offers. I genuinely think that any parents who care about their children's future should enroll them in this program. With the Omicron variant and other potential disruptions to in-person learning, it's always good to have a backup plan. Kids can't afford to fall behind, and RLS ensures that they maintain their educational momentum. I've been so impressed with RLS that I've even bought gift memberships for some of my relatives with kids. I know they'll appreciate the value of this program as much as I do.
Misleading and Questionable: A Review of Remote Learning School
Remote Learning School (remotelearning.school) is an online educational platform that claims to have one of the most comprehensive curriculums available on the internet. However, upon closer inspection, it becomes apparent that the advertising of this school is entirely misleading. For instance, none of the courses offered by Remote Learning School can be considered comprehensive. Their French course, for instance, has only four lessons, while their Kindergarten Jr Math course comprises a meagre two lessons. Even courses like Ballet, Korean, and Grade 8 Algebra have only one lesson on this platform.
In addition to this, Remote Learning School also has several fake reviews that were likely written by a handful of people. The majority of these individuals have only reviewed the school, which points to the possibility of the reviews being fake. Even the photographs used by some of these reviewers are plainly stock photos. As a result, the integrity of the reviews seems dubious.
Another area where Remote Learning School falls short is transparency. The platform does not provide any sample lessons or trial period, which is something that most educational websites offer. Furthermore, the company is reluctant to answer questions about how they screen their instructors, if they screen their videos, and other critical aspects. This lack of clarity raises red flags.
To make matters even worse, the "social media manager" of Remote Learning School is also responsible for running an unemployment website (unemploymentpua) and a school review website (schoolrating.net). This relationship is not transparently disclosed, and it is dishonest frankly to run a rating website that praises their school. On social media, Remote Learning School only has interaction from the unemploymentpua account and what appears to be a fake account with a stock photo for its profile.
In conclusion, Remote Learning School is an online educational platform that is highly misleading and lacks transparency. It's distressing to note that they blocked my IP address from accessing their website due to my review. One cannot deny the potential negative implications it may have on their business. If a company is doing everything right, then why would they block a user? Sadly, the reputation of Remote Learning School leaves much to be desired.
RemoteLearning.school: High Demand Causes Capacity Limits but Response is Prompt and Efficient
I was so excited when I discovered RemoteLearning.school, an online learning program for kids ages 5-17. Given the current circumstances, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity for my son to continue his education remotely. I completed the registration process online and paid the registration fee promptly, eager to have my son enrolled in this highly recommended program.
However, a few minutes after receiving the confirmation that my son was admitted to the program, I got another email stating that the classes were full and that I should try enrolling again in two weeks. I was bummed to hear that, as my son was thrilled at the prospect of being part of the school magazine, getting a school email address, and learning Korean and guitar. As a result, I have decided to give RemoteLearning.school a 2-star rating instead of a 1-star rating.
The email I received from the school's admission department explained the situation clearly and concisely. It cited the program's high demand and the need to give new members sufficient attention as reasons for the current capacity issue. I appreciated that they refunded my registration fees promptly without me even having to ask, and they even gave me an estimate of how long the wait would be.
I must admit, though, that it was very disappointing to hear that my son could not enroll in the program right away. But I'm glad that the school is doing its best to accommodate new members despite the overwhelming demand. I have resolved to try enrolling my son again in two weeks' time, and I hope that by then, there will be a slot available for him.
In conclusion, while I am disappointed that I was not able to enroll my son in RemoteLearning.school immediately, I appreciate the school's prompt attention to my registration and quick refund of the fees I paid. I hope to enroll my son in the program soon, as he is eager to learn and explore the numerous learning opportunities and fantastic program that RemoteLearning.school has to offer.
Maximizing Education: My Experience with Remote Learning School
Remote Learning School is definitely worth considering if you're looking to enroll your child in online learning. This is my first time giving a review and I am impressed with what I have seen so far.
Enrollment is quick and easy, I had some questions that were answered promptly via email before registering my two children (ages 6 and 10). Within three days of enrolling, they had their student ID and a digital portfolio called JuniorFolio. I appreciate that their achievements are tracked, this motivates them to do their best and shows me their progress.
Remote Learning School is being used as a supplement to our public school curriculum, but it can also be used as a full homeschool curriculum. Public schools have so many limitations and don't offer enough learning opportunities to compare to Remote Learning School's program. Their classes go above and beyond what is in the standard curriculum.
RemoteLearning School's hundreds of classes cater to different grade levels. They standard classes like math, ELA, Science, and more. I am very happy to report that they also have special interest classes in topics such as Entrepreneurship, journalism, meteorology, photography, physical education, music, dancing, and others. The abundance of classes is mind-blowing, you will never run out of things to explore. The program is designed to enable your child to learn at their own pace.
Other benefits include a student ID which allows access to discounts on software and a school email address. These features alone make the program quite attractive.
Best of all, the price is simply amazing. There's no better value for money when you consider everything they offer. You can either enroll monthly or buy a lifetime membership, I went with a lifetime subscription.
Overall, I am more than satisfied with this school. The education my children have received is comprehensive and fun. I recommend this program to anyone looking for a well-rounded learning experience for their child.
Not Worth the Investment: Avoid This Site for Remote Learning
I wouldn't recommend using this site for remote learning. It's a total bait and switch thing. I signed up for six months for my little one in first grade thinking she would go through first grade courses and head right into second grade courses but in the very first week, my daughter had already completed math, language arts, and science classes for the first grade. At first, I thought that it was just an error and I contacted the company to ask for additional classes that correspond to her grade level. They promised me that new classes were uploaded weekly. After a few weeks, they added several classes to the subjects she'd already completed, but no new classes were added to her grade level. My little one went ahead and completed the remaining extracurriculars that the site offered like cooking, ASL, music, etc. Then, she completed the few classes that they uploaded, and again, we were back to no classes for her! We bombarded their inbox with countless emails but either got zero response or the same response that they were looking into it. I would never have signed up for this if I had known it'd be like this. I was clear when I signed up what my expectations were for the classes and they assured me that there were many subjects and many lessons to select from within each class. There was simply no way to complete all of the first-grade classes so quickly. They make it all look excellent, but in reality, there's not much stuff to go around, and it's pretty laughable. We've sent numerous emails to our adviser, and we still haven't received any response. We're attempting to obtain the transcripts so that we can move on to the next level, but no one is responding to our requests. I can't believe how this company survives with so many positive responses unless they're all fake! It's all just a big swindle. There's no assistance to be found. They are very understanding and respond promptly to emails when you're still deciding whether or not to utilize their software, but once you pay, they vanish. I'm going to keep writing comments so that everyone can see the facts before signing up for this scam of a business.
Remote Learning School Complaints 3
Remote Learning School: A Great Homeschool Option with Caring Teachers and Impressive Variety of Classes
I gotta say, Remote Learning School is pretty darn great. My kid started out just doing the afterschool classes, but ended up switching to using it as a full homeschool curriculum. They've learned so much since starting with RLS.
One thing I really like is that the teachers are always available to answer questions or help out if something isn't quite clicking. It's not like those big schools where you're just a number - they really care about the kids and their learning.
And let me tell you, the variety of classes they offer is pretty impressive. From math and English to art and music, my kid has been able to explore all kinds of subjects. Plus, there's no worry about conflicts with the regular school day schedule - RLS is flexible and fits into your life.
I will say, there have been a few hiccups along the way. Sometimes the website can be a little wonky (but hey, what website isn't these days?), and there have been a few times where we had trouble getting in touch with a teacher for a bit.
But overall, I'm really happy we found Remote Learning School. It's been a great way for my kid to learn and grow, and it's a relief to know there's a program out there that cares about their education.
Remote Learning School: Poor Customer Service and Disappointing Courses
I thought Remote Learning School (remotelearning.school) was a good option for my daughter’s education needs as they offered extra classes that I thought she would enjoy. When I signed up for the semi-annual membership, I had high hopes for the program. However, after getting access to the courses, I realized that it was not living up to our expectations.
I reached out to them through their site, requesting for a refund as soon as possible. I sent the message three months ago and, to my surprise, never received any response. I thought it would be quick and easy, but it seems like they don't care about their customers.
I even tried calling them on the phone number provided on the website, but a recorded message automatically answered, stating that no one is currently available to take my call. Every time, it directs me back to the website, which was frustrating. I assumed that getting through social media might be more effective; I reached out to them hoping to get a response, but my effort was wasted as the message was viewed, and yet I never received a reply.
Despite my attempts, I am still out by almost $200 for a program that we haven't used. I feel that I have been left in the lurch by Remote Learning School. The lack of response from them has left me frustrated and disappointed.
I would not recommend Remote Learning School to anyone; they have shown poor customer service, and I am not impressed with the quality of their courses. I made a mistake in signing up for the semi-annual membership without proper research and ended up wasting money. I hope that others will read this review and think twice before doing the same.
Virtual School Review: RemoteLearning.school Offers Cool Features with Some Downsides
My kids have been attending RemoteLearning.school for almost a year now, and I gotta say, I'm pretty happy with it. There's some cool stuff here and there that my kids get a kick out of.
First off, the school gives each student their own email address, which is neat. They also get an ID card that scores them discounts around the web. My kids feel pretty cool having their own virtual student cards.
The virtual contests are what really caught their eye though. They're always excited to participate in the science fair or the Halloween contest to show off their ideas and creations. They can even write for the school magazine and get their own press ID. The classes offered are plentiful, so there's definitely something for everyone.
But, as with anything, there are some downsides. For one, their email address doesn't have much storage space, so they can't attach too many files. With so many classes to choose from, they sometimes have trouble deciding which one to focus on next. The contests can be tough as well, with a lot of other kids competing and vying for the top prizes. Lastly, the school magazine can get pretty crowded with articles, so there's no guarantee that their work will be published in the next issue.
All in all, it's a pretty good program for my kids and I'd recommend it. Just be aware of the pros and cons before signing up.
