Have had nothing but disappointment with this company
Have had nothing but disappointment with this company.Hired them to replace my 2 patio doors last year and the whole process was nothing short of a disaster.Brought the wrong size door, boarded up my basement for 4 months and even after installing it, they 'forgot' to bring the screen door. That took another 3 months.Their customer service is a disaster. *** and rude.Whole process has token 12 months Then they went ahead and charged my credit card even before the work was half-way done. Will NEVER use them again and would not recommend them to anyone

Christopher D*** was fantastic when he came to get the measurements for our bay window
Christopher D was fantastic when he came to get the measurements for our bay window. Not only was he able to move the appointment up 4 days, but he provided some very valuable insight and recommendations to my wife as well concerning the bay window. Chris and Glenn L have been a pleasure to work with and I expect the same professionalism will be evident when the installers come to do the installation in a few weeks. We are very pleased with the whole process so far. Renewal by Anderson has been awesome to work with to date and I highly recommend them.

We had a wonderful experience. This is our second time working with Renewal by Andersen. We had windows installed in our last home and are upgrading our windows in our new home. The team makes the process so easy and stress-free. Great product and great customer service! I would work with *** again on any of our future homes!
Thorough, professional, and friendly. Very good service. Would definitely recommend.
with renewal by Andersen came today and measured my windows was extremely knowledgeable of their products and very precise with his measurements so excited to get these windows in thank you ***.
Started process well with professional measurements and appointmens kept. Install was promised for 4 months later which we agreed to and as they requested we pay fifty percent up front.5 months passed and nothing was heard about our windows. We contacted the company and they stated they were waiting on parts. Another month went by and nothing more was heard. Contacted company several more times but did not receive return calls that were promised. Contacted representatve of company named *** who on several occasions said a manager would call us to discuss cancellation of our order and a refund. No one called. This is now 7 months after our order and fifty percent payment and nothing has been resolved. We still have no windows and they have our money. The company will not return calls. Legal action will be pursued.
Providing a top rating for the experience so far with Renewal by Andersen Cincinnati
Providing a top rating for the experience so far with Renewal by Andersen Cincinnati. We are in the middle of the process: (1) selected replacement windows, (2) agreed to quote and (3) have had window openings officially measured prior to ordering. The proof for us will be in the installation of these windows and subsequent quality over time. Anyone can promise a great experience upfront but for us it will be in how the finished product comes together. We are hopeful we can provide a top rating when the job is completed without issue and on the promised timing.

September 2 months ago I've waited over 7 months for my new windows. I've been rescheduled four times. Two times 30 mins before the scheduled appointments. One time was a no call no show. I had to call back to be rescheduled again. Just got another call that jobs have ran behind and my installation will need to be rescheduled the fourth time. Each time I had to have my blinds, curtains, and furniture removed for the installer. Time was requested off work and plans made for pets. The person I get to talk to each time with my complaints is so disconnected from the installer there seems to me no resolution. I would not recommend this company. Get estimates from local installers. I wish I did. I know there is equal or better quality local, without the hassle, and cheaper.Response from the owner 2 months ago September *** I am so sorry! This is not the experience we want anyone to have. I apologize for any inconveniences we have caused you and we are looking into the breakdown of communication with scheduling. I promise that we will work tirelessly to turn this around for you.***-UPDATE SEPTEMBER It was found that the windows were accidently marked as a miss-measure so they were thrown away. I was told it would be turned around and I accepted the offer to make it right (SEPT2021). UPDATE DECEMBER. There was good communication of the status of my windows and scheduling of my installation date; December 1 arrival between *** am. Again, I scheduled time off work, removed blinds and furniture. I reached out and confirmed status a few times while waiting. I was ensured I was still being taken care of.At 8:30 AM on installation day I got a call that only two of my three widows can be located and the installer would now arrive around 11 with just the two. Extremely let down by Renewal by Andersen Windows yet again. The whole experience I have felt like I was part of some elaborate scam. 10 MONTHS NOW! Of course, half the money was paid up front making me feel at the mercy of this poorly managed company. I couldnt imagine how bad it would have been if I had invested a whole house full of windows and doors with this company. The installers were fine people who did quality work. Im sure they are managed just as poorly, and I do not hold them at fault. I hope they return to install the third window whenever and wherever that is.
My husband and I are very pleased with our experience with Renewal by Andersen. We had all new windows installed in our home, 9, and the installation was quick, very professional, and clean. They are a little expensive but definitely worth every ***! If you are looking to get new windows my husband and I highly recommend Renewal by Andersen.
Very professional staff and very courteous. We were needing new windows and Andersen windows came highly recommended. We were impressed with our salesperson, Tads knowledge about the windows. Its an investment in our home and our measurement *** was very courteous and pointed out things we hadnt thought of. We appreciate the caring of the staff and quality of Andersen windows.
Working on replacing windows in my home, sales rep came out started the process, and Renewal Andersen had a follow up for window measurements. *** was the gentleman that came out, very knowledgeable, quick, and diligent. So far process is really good and friendly.
It has been ~ a month with the new windows and it is the best investment we ever made
It has been ~ a month with the new windows and it is the best investment we ever made. Big difference in our home. The house is very sealed and they look awesome. Every indivual at renewal were awesome. Matt Gardner our sales rep. Was excellent explaining options and giving recommendations. He never pushed anything on us to buy and he saved us money on the selection of window in two of the rooms. Mark who came out and took the final measurements was very professional and friendly. Jim and Quincey who installed the windows are very good at their craftsmanship and professional. They too gave recommendations on hanging blinds and went thru the window operations. More than pleased!

The entire team did a great job for us. They were professional and very conscientious. They even wore booties over their shoes in the house. They double checked all their measurements and went over all of the windows with us. Overall a great experience.
I am giving Renewal by *** stars for the quoting, financing, and measurements parts of their operation. They have done a great job! I will check back in after installation.
Renewal by Andersen's Design Consultant and team deserve 5 Stars
Renewal by Andersen's Design Consultant and team deserve 5 Stars. Their other teams are terrible. I am based in Cincinnati and the team leader is a complete disappointment. I was scheduled for an evaluation after waiting 4 months only to find out the day of my evaluation that the truck was broken. The leader and his direct supervisor (Manager 576) offered zero solutions to help correct my problem and get me rescheduled in a timely manner. Both gentlemen were incredibly rude, very nonchalant, and unsympathetic as if this happens all the time. I am so put off by this Customer Service Experience that I am looking to terminate my contract.

We requested estimates to replace 32 windows in our house from Pella, Gilkey and Renewal by Anderson
We requested estimates to replace 32 windows in our house from Pella, Gilkey and Renewal by Anderson. Gilkey had the lowest price ($32,000) and appeared to be very qualified. Pella was a bit higher ($34,000) but had questionable Complaintsboard.com reviews. Renewal by Anderson was the highest priced ($38,000) but had great reviews, excellent Complaintsboard.com accreditation and offered their patented virtually invisible See-Thru screens. We visited an RbA customer who had just had all of her windows replaced and she raved about RbA's product and services. We decided to go ahead with RbA and we could not have asked for better product quality, professional installation and project final finish. WE CANNOT THINK OF ANYTHING THAT COULD HAVE BEEN AN IMPROVEMENT ON WHAT WE RECEIVED FROM RENEWAL BY ANDERSON. THEY ARE THE BEST.

Let me begin with our technician that came to our to measure
Let me begin with our technician that came to our to measure. *** was ***. He arrived on time, took a moment to discuss what he was going to do, and asked me where I preferred for him to start. He then asked several questions to ensure that we were both on the same page. He then began. He was not only managing the job, but also trained another technician at the same time. He was nice, flexible, and wanted me to feel comfortable about the service throughout the entire appointment. Once he completed the measurements, he walked me through the next steps and verified each door color and what parts were stationary and active. Then he allowed me all the time I needed to ask questions. He was professional and answered all my questions as well as training another technician (who was so nice and had the opportunity to practice hands on). I would have them both back in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Do not buy from Renewal by Andersen!
Do not buy from Renewal by Andersen! Go to Menards, Lowes or *** and buy one of their doors! Save yourself $$$$'s. The only reason we bought 2 of their doors was because we had French doors and screens for French doors are hard to find. They install the doors and I ask their subcontractor where the screens are, he tells me they are on back order. This is the first we were ever told about a problem with the screen doors, THE ONLY REASON WE WERE BUYING NEW DOORS!. We have had absolutely NO contact from the salesman since the first time when he sold us the doors. We find out from the service department that the screen doors are back ordered for 3 months! The middle of October, WHAT GOOD ARE THEY THEN? You pay a lot of money for these doors and no one can contact you to tell you about the screens? And the salesman told us the outside of the doors would be ALL VINYL CLAD! They're not! The side of the sliding door is painted wood. The doors were also scratched! Unbelievable! These doors are not the quality you expect for the amount of money they charge. You are much better off saving your money and going to Menards, Lowes or *** and installing one of their doors. Their quality is just as good as these.

We ordered seven windows from Andersen back in May and were scheduled to have them installed the first week of October
We ordered seven windows from Andersen back in May and were scheduled to have them installed the first week of October. We were contacted to let us know that they had all of the materials to install and would be coming on the 6th to install. The week before we received another call letting us know that there was an emergency and the team would not be able to work for the week but would be there October 7th...which didn't really make sense but we went with it. Rearranged our schedules only to receive another call on the morning of the 7th that they would not be able to make it out that day and would be reaching out to reschedule. We NEVER received any communication back. My husband and I called the company multiple times reaching out to every contact we have made through the process just to get some kind of update and struggled to talk to anyone for weeks. Finally, last week I was able to get through to someone and they rescheduled us for the second week in December. We are so frustrated. The lack of communication is ridiculous, the fact that we had to rework our schedules not once but now three times to ensure that someone will be here for the installation, and that we have been waiting for installation since October while all of the supplies are just sitting somewhere in their facility just doesn't make any sense. We have about 20+ windows still to replace, this was just the first round and we aren't sure what we will do for the rest.

I can't go back in time and tell myself not to use this company so I'll tell you, DON'T do it!
I can't go back in time and tell myself not to use this company so I'll tell you, DON'T do it! My house is destroyed! We spent $20,000 for new windows only for our house we worked so hard on to be destroyed. They were so rough they cracked almost ALL our walls then told US to putty the cracks and holes and the more we do, the more cracks we find! They then BROKE OUR KITCHEN CABINETS! I know the installers knew they did it because they were talking about my cabinets but I didn't think anything of it until I checked it that night and seen them hanging down. We had to wait WEEKS for them to call us back and finally get someone out here to look at it, then even longer for them to actually fix it. It's back up there but there's a giant piece of wood covering half of the inside shelf and it won't fit my big plates on it. It's still cracked as well but it's up there and no longer a hazard of falling on my kids so I guess it's fine for now but we were told we will have to just replace the whole cabinets if we were to ever sell our house because it's just a temporary fix. We had to actually ask them to come back out and caulk our windows as well which is ridiculous. They also somehow knocked out one of our basement windows during the installation but because we don't have proof and didn't notice until a couple weeks later with dealing with all the other damage, we're gonna have to fix that one ourselves. Oh, and one of our windows has a hole in the screen that we have to repair. We now have to putty 80% of our walls, re-paint, replace our basement window, caulk more places that were left out, and pray the windows were properly installed once winter comes around because knowing all our luck, they weren't. We were also rescheduled 3 times (and completely ghosted 1 day) which made it to where they rushed and did it all in 1 day which I'm sure is why it was such a crappy job because they didn't take their time to do it correctly and just wanted it done. We're not rich people but we went on a limb and spent a LOT of money on new windows only for the house we worked our butts off for to become destroyed. I'm heartbroken and beyond upset and it wasn't even worth that much money. I regret ever doing it and now have all these damages I have to pay for. Our old windows would get condensation so bad they would drip water and mold our trimming, curtains, and walls which was a pain to constantly clean. We were told by this company that it was definitely the windows and new windows from them would solve the problem completely so if winter comes around and it doesn't, I'm finally unleashing my inner *** (which I'm shocked I haven't at this point). Save yourself the heartache of your home being destroyed and just choose a different company..

I dont leave many reviews, but I felt a responsibility to tell others about my experience with Renewal by Andersen
I dont leave many reviews, but I felt a responsibility to tell others about my experience with Renewal by Andersen. I had an in-home consultation with one of their sales reps for a quote on replacement windows. It was a very high pressure sales consultation, which led my husband and me to believe every other window product and warranty is junk compared to Andersen windows and their warranty. They offer a significant discount for signing a contract right away (go green pricing they call it), so we felt pressured of losing the discount and signed the contract. By the way, I hadnt done much research on window products and cost prior to their consultation. After signing the contract, I felt very stressed and sick to my stomach. Instead of them giving me time to do research and make an educated decision that I could feel good about, they just pressure you into signing their contract by using this significant discount. After signing, I did my research. I knew, logically, that they could not be the only window company out there who offered a quality product and warranty. In my research, I found that they liars. Their window is NOT the only product out there that is maintenance free. I was also told by Renewal by Andersen sales rep that I shouldnt purchase any vinyl windows because all vinyl warps. Well in my own research, I was told by builders and other window companies that vinyl is not the same as it was *** years ago, and vinyl windows are installed in millions of homes every day. I can buy a vinyl window that will last me 20+ years. So shame on Renewal by Andersen for making me feel like all vinyl windows are junk and dont buy them. And yes Im sure there are junky vinyl windows out there. We know that. But dont tell people that all vinyl is going to warp in 5 years. Not true. Also shame on them for their ridiculous pricing. They gave us a quote for $15,000 to replace 6 windows. After applying all their discounts they got it down to about $7,000. Seriously, guys!? You want me to believe that you can give an $8,000 discount? No, your windows are just THAT marked up. If you decide to go with this company, please make sure to do your research. Dont fall for their scammy sales consultation. I know that at least one other window company offers their same glass package. Their fibrex material may be patented, but its not the only material that can make a good quality window. Ive found you can get a fiberglass window that will last like 80 years (which would over fit my current needs). Renewal by Andersen is trying to sell windows like they would have done 20 - 30 years ago. Get up with the times people. Quit your old fashioned ways and quit with the high pressure sales. Honesty will win you more business and give you a better name. Luckily I was able to end my contract within a couple days and will not be using them for my window replacement project.

Problems with Renewal by Andersen installed doors
We're experiencing issues with doors installed by Renewal by Andersen. The two doors, which were supposed to be professionally crafted and installed, began their installation process on April 19th. Measurements were taken on April 27th, and installation started on July 15th. Later, we discovered problems with the garage door screen. On September 8th, a repairman acknowledged these issues but failed to bring the correct screen door. He did rectify the upside-down installation of the sliding screen door and listed other issues with both doors. We were not informed about the repair schedule, leading to inconvenience as we are professional drivers. The poor workmanship and installation quality lead us to seek a substantial price reduction. The installation took about 3 months to start, and numerous defects were noted, including visible screws, unfinished nail holes, and a deadbolt with extra holes in the frame. The top sliding window also doesn't latch properly. We paid a significant amount for what was promised as quality installation, and the outcome is far from satisfactory. Despite assurances, we have not been contacted by Andersen since the last inspection.

Windows & doors
I put $20,000.00 down to have 24 windows and 2 doors installed LAST May. They were to be installed by the end of Aug LAST year but didn’t get installed until NOV! STILL WORKING ON THEM! Sold me windows that were too big for the picture window now they sound like a machine gun every time I close them! They nailed the trim into nothing, see pics. One window was defective not sure if that was the Only one, they claimed it defective when I kept telling them there was a draft coming in, wasn’t until the snow & ice came in that they actually came out! The trim was cut wrong causing them to use rubber caulk that looked like a 5 yr old did it. See pics! Cranks keep breaking & can’t get anyone to come out! Their ads are FALSE! They say 26 & 37 yrs in carpentry but they keep sending people who haven’t been there for even 6Months! I’m STILL WAITING FOR THIS TO BE FIXED!
Desired outcome: a check for undue hardship for past year 2mo heat bills after you installed defective windows
I was incorrected charged $239.80 by Renewal by Andersen on March 3
I was incorrected charged $239.80 by Renewal by Andersen on March 3. This charge relates to the installation of a back patio screen door. Previously I had the entire glass back patio door screen installed by Renewal by Anderson, and the original screen door had a bent corner due to shipping. The door screen was re-ordered and would be installed by staff approximately 6-8 weeks later. Once the product arrived, I had poor service, as the representative Dalton was spoken for coming to my residence but never knocking on the door and or calling to say he was there. I rescheduled this service for approximately three weeks later and then escalated by complaint to the manager Eduardo, who apologized for the inconvenience and difficulty I've had with their service. He let me know that I would need to be charged for 90% of the project, and then the remaining 10% was the most I could have as a refund due to my poor service. I agreed and he transferred to me to the billing department, where I was told I would not be charged the remaining 10% of the charge, which totaled 239.80. Then I was charged this $239.90 through the credit card Renewal by Andersen had on file on March 3rd. I have called every other business day since March their to speak with a manager in the billing department regarding this incorrect charge, and I'm told that the representative that can authorize this refund is out of the office, but they will be happy to call me back within 2 business days. Unfortunately I do not receive calls back.

In March, my husband and I decided to use Renewal by Andersen to purchase an exterior door. The salesman was nice and told us the door we picked would work perfectly with our home. When the man came out to measure, he had to remove some trim to get the measurements. I okayed this because it needed to be done to get the correct measurement. This was in April. The area around my old door looked unsightly until August. I would have never agreed to this if I knew it was going to be in disarray for so long. About a week later, I received a phone call stating the door we wanted would not fit. They wanted us to buy a door that was $2,000 more than our original choice. I told them we could not afford this. A week later, they called back and offered us the higher-end door for the original price.
In August, we received our exterior door from Renewal by Andersen. When they arrived, they did not have the screen door. They had to return at a later date to install it. After the door was installed, we noticed damage to one of the panels. In September, they ordered a new panel. They did not come to the house until January 3, 2022, to replace the panel. When they arrived, the new panel was broken. We are now scheduled to wait until July 2, 2022, for them to install the new panel. It will be over a year to get our door situation resolved. We are now experiencing issues with the screen door staying on the track.
We purchased windows and doors from Renewal by Andersen back in October . Windows and doors were installed on April 28, 2022. When the windows were being installed it was noted that one of the windows was mismeasured and was unable to be installed, it would have to be re-ordered. We were told by the lead installer that we would hear from someone within 48 hours regarding a resolution and he gave us a direct number for the operations manager. After a week of not hearing from anyone, I reached out and left a message for the operations manager. After a few more days of no response, I reached out to the customer service department and left a voicemail. Still, no response. I continued attempting to reach out to service and installation and leaving voicemails but not once received any sort of communication. It has now been a month since our install and we have not heard from anyone regarding our missing window. My husband called the main customer service line, and we were transferred multiple times, again, but finally spoke with someone who claims our window is ready and will allegedly be installed in a week. We have spent over $20,000 on this project and have dealt with an immense amount of frustration trying to navigate through their mistake. The company is not taking any responsibility other than, "we are short staffed" and has denied our request for ANY sort of compensation for this mishap.
I constantly get emails with advertising from them from random email addresses that spam the emails to hundreds at a time. Theres no way to stop them.
Meeting with Renewal by Andersen's Sales Trainer on March 4
The original meeting with Renewal by Andersen was March 4 with a company Sales Trainer. We purchased replacement windows for our home after a lengthy appointment. On March 11, a representative returned to take precise measurements and noted we had been overcharged for some windows. This overcharge was identified on March 4, but we were not informed at the time. The windows were installed on June 5 by professional installers. We listed additional work to be done post-installation. The sliding glass door we received was damaged. The company agreed to reorder it. However, after three attempts, we still haven't received an undamaged door. The last replacement effort was on March 22, 2022. We requested a call from the financial officer but have not been contacted despite multiple attempts. Despite understanding pandemic-related delays, we are frustrated as other customers receive service while we await our paid-for door.

I purchased several new windows at the end of last year. I have tried to contact Renewal by *** several times, with no answer, no call back, or i got the we have a call in to the service tech. I have called several different numbers and talked to people but it wnds with them giving me a service number to try. I've actually never got through to anyone on that number, and no call back with messages. Our windows weren't installed right. They have strong drafts. My biggest complaint is the kitxhen slide window he sold me. I was told it would be easy to open. It is hard to open and close, it doesn't even close right and does not lock.
In October, we purchased our current home where Renewal By Andersen had replaced all of the windows in October. The previous owner left us the paperwork for Warranty Transfer. In February 2022, the outside pane of one of the sliding window sashes had a stress crack and was severely broken. I contacted Renewal service and successfully transferred the warranty to our name and requested pictures which I supplied. I was told later that a replacement had been ordered and it might take up to 6 weeks. After a few exchanges with the service representative, a date was scheduled for installation. No one showed up for the appointment nor did they call to tell us they weren't coming. I was then told they had not received the new sash and it would be reordered and expedited. Since that time (approximately 3-4 weeks), I have called more times than I can count and left voicemails requesting a status update. I have never received a return call. I have also sent several messages requesting an update and received no response. I then tried calling the Corporate number for Renewal by Andersen several times and was referred to the same number where I had already left numerous messages and gotten no return call. So far, Renewal by Andersen gets an "F" for service. This has gone on way too long.

We had doors installed and immediately felt air coming through one of the doors, we called and several weeks later someone came out and attempted to fix it. They noticed the original installation of the doors had not been completed and said they would schedule themselves to come back and complete the job. This was almost 4 months ago and now we cannot get a call back from anyone.
Window salesman from renewal by Andersen arrived in October 2022 for a estimate on all the windows and doors in home very large project
Window salesman from renewal by Andersen arrived in October 2022 for a estimate on all the windows and doors in home very large project. We went over all the project together there was rotted wood in large living room wall that is covered by windows was told at time we would be responsible for paying *** separately for that part of job we agreed. We signed contract for *** dollars for job to be completed by a professional company what we got was delays and no shows .Company was to start job in January delayed that then again in April which was moved to February we were happy about that upon arrival in February 2 crews were to be on job site what showed up was a man and his wife and 2 teenagers. There were. Ordered windows in February for $40,000.00. I was informed that the full installation would take 6 to 8 weeks. During the initial installation, only half of the windows fit, with three being installed incorrectly, and two requiring new parts due to damage. Following five additional visits over the next seven months, we still had a sliding door that needed replacement because of a bowed frame. We spoke to a company representative, who assured me that I would receive compensation for the issues encountered. Unfortunately, due to family matters, we had to sell the house. Now, the same representative, along with his superior whom I tried to contact through the call center, are not returning my calls. The company had promised a partial refund because the installation issues caused me to miss seven days of work. I am left with no choice but to review this company poorly due to their neglect and failure to ensure a job well done or even completed.
I receive mailings from this company multiple times a month and I would like this to stop. I live in a brand new home with *** windows so I do not need any replacement windows. Please remove me from your mailing list!
The company, against my verbal and written statements, submitted a credit application without authorization. I issued multiple emails as well as verbally stated I did not want my financing application ran more than once I only approved one lender. However the company, mainly, design consultant and sales manager, decided to submit the application to a secondary lender against my approval. I was notified by the second lender and one the companys financing department about the approval. So basically a couple of employees decided to commit identity theft by submitting for credit in the purpose of sale that I did not authorize. Not only that but now that inquiry will be on and effect my credit rating for the next two years. I contacted the company multiple times for a resolution but they continue to avoid me. In fact a customer service rep made sure to let me know one of my calls had been recorded in case it needed reviewed
We purchased windows and sliding doors from Renewal by Andersen November *** February . Since the install we have called and had people out to service the sliding doors multiple times. As of today, this has not been resolved. The sliding doors are heavy and cannot open properly. They were installed incorrectly and are not as "glide smoothly" as saleperson described. The door is contantly falling off track and takes full force to open. I have asked for a service history report but never received one.
Early April , Renewal by a window company in Nashville visited my home for a quote.
Early April , Renewal by a window company in Nashville visited my home and provided an estimate on 26 replacement windows. At that time, I was not ready to commit to the purchase. In July , I contacted the sales representative again trying to negotiate a price to close the deal with no luck. Again, in August, I contacted the sales representative with no success. September brought on another contact with the same sales representative with some movement toward closing the deal. October brought on more negotiations. On October 14, I contacted the sales representative with another proposal. A price of $35,754 was provided on October 17. On October 18, I spoke with the sales rep who said that was a good price and the process would be increasing in early 2022. On November 9, I contacted the same salesperson to make another offer. On November 11, the salesperson was contacted about finalizing the deal with the price of $35,754. At that time, I requested to speak with the salesperson's manager. I emailed the manager requesting a call. He called back on November 16 and advised the salesperson was on vacation and would need to speak with them about finalizing. On Saturday, November 28, the sales rep called me and advised they had resigned from Renewal. On November 29, I emailed the manager to see if contact was made with the salesperson. The manager responded with an email advising the sales rep had left the company and they could send someone else out but the last price quote could not be guaranteed. A second email was sent to the manager with window sizes from the original visit. No response to either email. I left voicemail on November 30 and December 1 with the Renewal manager requesting a call and no response. On December 1, I also called one of the many customer service numbers for the window company and was advised someone would call within 24 hours. No response has been received.

I have been working with getting Windows from Andersen since 7
I have been working with getting Windows from Andersen since 7. I ordered windows with the promise that if we couldn't get approval from my HOA to my satisfaction that we would not go forward with the purchase. This was a $50k project. Andersen DID NOT get the approval that I wanted from the HOA. However, Andersen did bill GreenSky, the finance company for $25k and received the money somewhere around 10. Andersen did not order the windows or has yet to order the windows however they have refused to refund my money. Additionally they have not responded with any resolution other than I need to buy the windows. My Greensky (finance company) bill is ongoing and Andersen is holding my money. I only wanted to cancel the transaction. I was told by management to find a way to get $25k of windows to resolve the issue. I have talked to management 4 times, talked to GreenSky to no avail and I have placed 2 calls to Corporate on 3/4 and 3/11 and I am still getting the run around. I asked the local manager who he reports to and he has refused the information. I just got text from him saying he hasn't heard back from me since the time I asked who his manager is. I have asked again who does he report to with no answer. Andersen is clearly trying to steal my money and/or trying to make me buy windows I don't want. No one will give me an email or address to write the owner/CEO. The local manager claimed he couldn't meet with me because of Covid, then because CEO was coming to town and most recently he missed my text message. These guys are crooks. Don't allow them to steal your money and go underground. My advice is not to do business with these people. If you decide to do business don't pay a penny until windows are installed. I just want my money back. I have verified that the windows have not been ordered. Why are you keeping my money?

We purchased two patio doors in May to replace the old ones because the screens were failing
We purchased two patio doors in May to replace the old ones because the screens were failing. The doors are custom size, so buying replacement screens was not an option. The new doors were installed in November , but there was only one screen and neither door had the tracks for the screens. The installers took the single screen back to the shop and we were told that someone would contact us with an install date for the tracks and screens. At the end of November, we received a call and were told the screens and tracks would be installed on April 11, 2022. On April 11, we received a call that the install was canceled because the screens had been backordered. On April 15, I contacted the regional office and was told they would look into the problem and call back no later than end of the week, but nobody called.I called regional again on April 21 and was told that for some reason the original date of April *** back, but they never did.It has now been one year since our purchase and the doors are incomplete. This was supposed to be an upgrade, but it is a downgrade as we cannot leave the doors open to let fresh air into the house. And since there aren't any tracks for the screens, it is not possible for me to retrofit a store-bought screen to use in the meantime. The whole reason for replacing the doors was because of the old deteriorating screens, but now we have no screens at all. Added to the frustration is the fact that nobody ever calls us back.Throughout the whole process we have done our best to be reasonable as we paid half of the price difference because the salesman quoted a standard door as opposed to a custom door and we didnt think a simple mistake should cost him that much money. We also accepted the mismatched color on the second set of doors.Unfortunately, the company is not reciprocating.

On August 19 I entered into a contract with Renewal by Andersen in Indiana
On August 19 I entered into a contract with Renewal by Andersen in Indiana. The contract states *** weeks as a start date, and 35 days for installation. On August 20 renewal by Andersen cashed my check for $20,000 and removed the funds from my bank account. It has now been 34 weeks and I believe the *** would be much better if the job had not been paid in full. At this time, none of my calls are being returned and I am unable to find out what is going on with my order. It has recently come to my attention that renewal by Andersen is possibly *** weeks beyond their initial estimate of 24 weeks. 104 weeks is absolutely unacceptable!I consider the misrepresentation of their time frame to be a fraudulent act which has now turned into an undeniable breach of contract. From a legal standpoint, 90 days past any contracted deadline is more than reasonable for a grace *** by Andersen should be more forthcoming with their customers if they are indeed experiencing delays of such magnitude. If I would have been informed of a two year waiting period for window installation, I would not have done business with them.If Renewal by Andersen cannot uphold their own contract, they should do the right thing and issue a full refund.Due to the deception, and lack of communication I feel the options are limited.Option A)FULL money back guaranteed installation of all windows on, or before the 1 year anniversary of August 19, 2022 (IN WRITING)52 weeks is more than fair considering the 24 week quote.Option B)Refund $15,000 of the original $20,000 until the job has been completed.(Equivalent to a 25% Deposit)A 75% refund would put some risk back on them. 50/50 is not acceptable under the circumstances.Option C)Refund 100% of the funds that were paid. (No cancellation fees)This would be the right thing to do.Option D)Pay 100% of the funds, attorney fees, court costs, lost wages, damages, etc.

We had windows and 2 doors installed in August
We had windows and 2 doors installed in August. From the time of our sales person all the way through to the installation, we have been unhappy with Renewal. We have had nothing but issues with the 2 doors since they have been installed. Since the beginning, we have had issues with the doors locking. We had already received 1 new door because the 1st door that was installed was warped, which we were told was the reason for why the door wouldn't lock. We have had that door approximately a year and the handle has completely broken and the door is locked without being able to open or close it. The handle just spins. I have called everyday for the last 3 weeks requesting a service call for them to replace the handle or the door, if needed. I have not received 1 single phone call back. I had been calling one number where someone would actually answer the phone. They stated there was no direct number to reach the service *** But that they would put me on hold and try and reach them. For weeks, they personally have stated they can't reach anyone in the service *** I finally insisted on speaking to a manager. *** was the name given. She informed me that I could call the *** and that they have a *** hour turn around time. I have contacted that number for 2 weeks now. I have still not received a return phone call. All along this door which is one of our main doors we use at the house, is non functioning, without any resolution, or any response as to when they can come out to view it and then however long it will take to fix it. This is just another continuing issue that we have had with them since the beginning. What good is a Life Time Warranty if the company that is warranting the product never picks up the phone or returns phone calls. We would be willing to fix it ourselves, but were told in the beginning that anything we do to the products if there is issues and we fix on our our, could void the warranty

In April we purchased $53,000.00 worth of new windows from Renewal by Andersen
In April we purchased $53,000.00 worth of new windows from Renewal by Andersen. The install date was set for the early Jul. The job was scheduled to be a 2 to 3 day install and only 2 install techs were sent out to complete the job. On Tues, Day 2 of the installation, the techs showed up and informed us that 2 of the windows were broken and one of the techs had hurt his shoulder. The next day we worked with Renewal to get a larger crew to complete the job.. On Thursday a 4 man crew and the install continued through Sunday including the 2 broke windows. We were told that an order would be placed ASAP to replace the two broken windows and reschedule the install. Within a few days we were told that an order had been placed and it would Sept 1st for the windows to come in. We complained this date need to be sooner and asked to escalate for sooner than another 12 week out. No matter who we talked to, they couldn't bring in the date but they did send someone out to tape up the broken sash with exposed glass. We also explained that trim that was put on the windows was sloppy and not consistent around all the windows and it needed fixed as well. When the date came for the 2 replacements, we called to see when someone was going to come install them, they said it was going to mid Oct and the windows were on back order. Again this was unacceptable and need it brought in but the Oct date was set. and couldn't be sooner. The 2 windows came in on the Oct date and a 2 man crew came and installed them but didn't know about all the trim needing fixed. We again scheduled another crew to come back out Nov *** to fix the trim. That crew completed 7 of the 17 windows and one of the windows the trim is falling off exposing the foam insulation. We called back today to see when someone would be back out and they said Dec *** to finish. We asked to forward us to a manager but they said they would call us within 7 days. I asked to be transferred and the tech hung up on me.

or around October 30, we had installed provia entry doors in our home's front and rear entrances
or around October 30, we had installed provia entry doors in our home's front and rear entrances. However, we were supposed to have two screen doors installed that did not happen. The back screendoor was the only one installed; because the front screen door was improperly measured, in all directions, height, width, and whoever measured it failed to account for the fact that we have a slanted front porch roof, so whenever it opened, it scrapped the top of our porch. We have contacted RBA numerous times about resolving this situation as the screen door was fianced. We technically have paid for and are paying monthly payments for a product that has never been installed; yes, they did install the doors and a few windows that we financed, but this item was not. My husband and I have called multiple times to get the screen door issue addressed, and the damage to the wall; a service agent came out to fix another problem and ignored the wall. As well as these issues, the newly installed screen door in the back appears not to be adequately sealed as light is coming in, and our front door is tough to lock along with an air leak coming in around the locking latch. What do we desire ? at this point, I am not even sure I wish I had never wasted my time or money. I chose RBA because this was supposed to be a high-quality product with fantastic customer service that could increase our home value along with a supposedly great transferrable warranty, but where is the customer service? Why is it almost two months later and we have no front screen door? The doors leak, and was our wall never fixed? Why is the front door still damaged by the installation of the screen door as part of it was installed and just left? Rba needs to do several things to make this right, Either install our screen door or remove the cost from our account or make a possible adjustment by installing windows of equal value if this is an option. Or give an update as to when the door could be installed, if that is

I requested a bid for a sliding glass door when the gentlemen came out he said I needed a custom size door
I requested a bid for a sliding glass door when the gentlemen came out he said I needed a custom size door. I asked several times are you sure a standard door will not work. He confirmed each time with a NO. The next person came to measure again I asked are you sure a standard door will not work. He said if the sales person said custom that is what I needed. His response was it would have saved you some money if you had a standard door. I should have gotten more than I estimate. When the door came in it was way to small for the opening. I asked the installers if a standard door would have worked and they both said yes. I started making phone calls questioning why they pushed the custom door they just refereeing me to someone else. It was to be a 4 hour job which turned into 7 because they had to shrink my opening. Then they told me the screen door was not made properly so they would reorder it. Again that custom thing. Customer Service person called and said could he come before the others came out. No other appointment was made just false information added to the file. Customer Service person took photos and sent it up the change of command. Sam who I do not know said we are not compensating her. The end no it is not. Customer Service said to call corporate office for help. I did very nice lady named Kathy told me she understood all my issues and would forward to guess who. SAM... she told me he would follow up and she would call me back in a few days. I have not heard from anyone even when I said I was going to fill a complete. We are seniors on a fixed income and I should have really though twice before approving a 6000.00 door. I would have been happy with even $500.00 paid back. But given my frustration and lack of response from this company I am seeking $1000.00 . Along with this issue the screen door feel off and landed on my granddaughter. 3 days later they came to make an adjustment to the door but still waiting on the replace door and hopefully made correctly with out bowing in the middle.

I have been trying to get a representative to call me concerning a patio door installation that took place in November
I have been trying to get a representative to call me concerning a patio door installation that took place in November. I've attempted to contact the original sales person, their general customer service department, the VP of operations and the owner. Below is the email I sent on February 5. It provides all the details showing how many times I've asked to talk with someone. I've redacted some information from the original email that is no longer at issue and removed private information. As of March 11th, I still have not heard from anyone at this company: "Good morning, I have reached out numerous times to try and discuss an issue I have had with the installation of the door. Below is a record of my attempts: Nov 28th - Original email to Anthony *** asking to discuss my issue with the door handle/lock installation. No response. Dec 1st - Follow up email to Anthony Preston. No response. Dec 9th - 3 attempt by email to discuss my issue with Anthony Preston. No response. Somewhere between Dec 9th and Dec 15th - Called Anthony at XXX-XXX-XXXX and left a message asking him to please return my call. No response. Dec 15th - Email to Mr. Davidson asking for assistance to get someone/anyone to reach out to me regarding my issue. No response. Jan 4th - Follow up email to Mr. Davidson. No Response. January 11th - Email to Tim - Territory Coordinator 868 asking for assistance with my issue. I received a response from Jacob - Territory Coordinator 868 stating that he contacted Anthony *** and that I should "hear from him shortly" and that he made your support department aware of the issue. Anthony never contacted me. January 22nd - Follow up email to Jacob that I never heard from Anthony or anyone in the support department. No response from anyone to this email. February 3rd - Follow up email to Territory Coordinator email address asking for an update and notifying that I still have not heard from Anthony *** or anyone in the support department. As of today, February 5th, no response. To summarize, starting from November 28th, I made various and numerous attempts on 9 different occasions to attempt to talk to someboday about my issue and have failed each and every time to get a response (except from Jacob on 1/11, but zero follow up after that). Your post-sale and post-installation customer service is horrendous and appalling and I'm at a loss of what to do. In every attempt I've made, I have been nothing short of polite and courteous, but now I'm simply angry at your lack of service. Ms. Perez - given your leadership position in the company, I assume you would agree that your company's lack of response is unacceptable, and I know you have it in your power to correct this. I'm begging for someone to call me to discuss both issues above to try and come to a resolution. Regards, *** Bushey xxx-xxx-xxxx"

[protected] Purchased 4 sliding doors and a window from Renewal by Andersen
[protected] Purchased 4 sliding doors and a window from Renewal by Andersen. Paid in full. We were told by Sales Rep that we would receive constant communication and updates as product was manufactured. 10/20 Andersen scheduled install for this date. Per contract, they would confirm install the day before. Never received a call so I called them to confirm and was told, "your order has been back ordered". Rescheduled install for 10/29. 10/29 Per contract they would confirm install the day before. Never received a call and after waiting a couple of hours past the time they said they would arrive, I called them again. I was told that they would not be coming due to a chance of rain. I told them that two of the doors and the window were on an enclosed back porch. The other two doors were under a porch roof. They also had a covered carport to unload product and work under with no exposure to the possibility of rain which never happened. They were not able to contact the install crew so it was rescheduled again. 10/30 Install rescheduled. Upon installation of the doors, there was an issue with the glazing trim pieces on 4 of the door panels and an additional panel had a raised bubble in the metal at the bottom between the two glass panes. These 4 defective door panels were reordered under warranty and they said we would have to wait the same amount of time as for the original order that they could not expedite product in their company. We were told by installer that we would be okay to go ahead and have the chinking redone around the 3 doors and window because when they returned to install the door panels once they were remade, it would not involve the wood trim around them. One of the doors has metal around it because it was in a stone wall on the lower level. We live in a log home. [protected] Andersen came to replace door panels. The glaze trim pieces were still defective on all but 1 of the warranty door panels. When he went to replace that panel, it was warped and would not close so he was not able to replace any of the door panels. He also agreed that they needed to replace a screen on one of the doors that was defective and replaced some screws on the door handle of one of the doors that would not stay tightened. He had to use screws that did not match the hardware and was to reorder new ones as they were defective on the handle they installed. We were told that day they would reorder all of the door panels, replace the screen, and replace the screws in the hardware. [protected] Andersen called to inform us (after waiting since 10/30) that they did not need to replace the door panels, only the glaze trim pieces and they would not be replacing the door with the bubble in the bottom metal between the glass. Their comment was that it was within acceptable tolerance. Per contract our products were to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. Nothing mentioned about acceptable tolerance. This door panel was remade the first time and now they are refusing to replace it. This is a very obvious and sightly defect on our main entry front door to our home. Upon opening the box of the glaze trim pieces the tech discovered they were 2 1/2" too short! We have given Renewal by Andersen 3 opportunities to make this right. The product we received was not what we were told we would have in the contract and their customer service has been the worst I have ever encountered! They will not give you the name of anyone within their Company to contact. Every number you call appears to go to the same location and they say they will have someone get back with you. I called that number on March 1 and was told they would have someone within their complaints department call me back. No response. I called again on March 9 when no one returned my call. Still have not received a response from this company!

I purchased three doors from Renewal by Andersen in July: kitchen patio door with double paned doors (one is stationary & one opens),
I purchased three doors from Renewal by Andersen in July: kitchen patio door with double paned doors (one is stationary & one opens), master bedroom patio door and living room door. The kitchen & bedroom doors were installed on 9/28 and living room door on 11/11. The screen doors for bedroom and living room doors were not installed on the install dates above. The crew that did install on 9/28 could not put screen on bedroom door. Per the installers statement, the holes that were drilled were not in the right spot and the screen door would have to be re-made. The same crew came out on 11/11 for installation of living room door. After the living room door was installed, the installer came to me and said that he was unable to install the screen door and I would have to get that scheduled . We went outside and I asked him why and he stated that he had never installed a screen door for a special made door. At that time, I did not know that the front door was a "special made door" in the fact that it was part of a double pane patio door made into a single door. However, since installation on 9/28, I have had repeated issues with the kitchen door: door handle broke off, broken/misaligned hinges, squeaking and hard to pull open, door getting stuck in bottom right corner, very hard to pull open at times and very difficult to push door open from the outside. I had to wait until December before an installer came to put my screen doors on the master and living room doors. He was unable to put living room screen door on because parts were missing. While he was there, I showed him all the issues I was having with the back door. He told me he would put in a service ticket for a new handle and door hinges as well as reorder the living room screen door. I rescheduled again, this time for 1/27. The day before the installer was to come in January, he called to say he would have to reschedule because when he opened the box the screen door was damaged. I told him it was too cold to work anyway and that day I had forgot to ask about the hardware for the back door. I contacted Renewal and spoke to a young man, Taylor, in mid February and explained that issue with kitchen door and that I still needed front screen door installed. He wanted to set a date for sometime in March for all the work to be done on one day. I continued to adamantly explain to him that I wanted my back door fixed now because I had already been waiting long enough. When he was unable to get the issue resolved, I told him I wanted to speak to a manager. I eventually spoke with Corey about getting a date set for the back door repair. I told him during our phone conversation that I was unhappy with the products and the install: that I was over not having a backdoor that did not open properly and had been installed less than 5 months ago, that I absolutely hated my front door because of the safety concerns of the threshold and it was not what I had wanted or believed that I ordered, and I would prefer them to come take their doors out and I would board up the holes and find a company more suited and more qualified with better products to do a new installation of doors. I have expressed concern time and time again regarding issues with the doors. Finally, a date was set, 2/26, for the new handle & hinges to be put on kitchen door, or so I thought. Turns out when Jeff (a contractor for Renewal) showed up, he only had the new door handle. He had been under the impression that the other work had been done. So, he put the new handle on, moved the top hinge on kitchen door to middle in hopes that the door would open more smoothly. He now had to "reorder" the hinges (which in December he told me he was going to do). On 3/2, I left Jeff a voicemail letting him know that the door was worse than before. The next day he put new hinges on. He said if I had any more problems let him know and he would put a new door on. On 3/18 the kitchen door started creaking and squeaking when opening door. On 3/19 door began getting hard to open. On 3/20 the door extremely hard to open; keeps getting stuck on bottom right corner and has to be pulled open and it sounds like something is going to break; can barely push door open from outside after turning handle. The door in the master room is difficult to shut door completely and lock easily. At this time I have not heard from Renewal about the screen door for living room, nor have I contacted them since February. I am at a loss as to what to do. I started making payments on the home improvement loan in November and the project still isn't completed. I am not satisfied with the products nor the installation of said products. I extremely unsatisfied that it has now been almost 6 months and I have had more problems with this install and company than I should be having.

The employee sent out for measurements was great; very polite and professional. He went over everything regarding what to expect with the replacement process. He provided an estimated timeline for windows to be ready and he let me know I will receive a follow up call to set up the installation date. Both Renewal/*** employees I have met with (salesperson and measurements associate) have been very helpful and knowledgeable. I hope the installation process goes as well!
The process has been easy and timely so far. All of the staff have been easy to work with and have been upfront about costs. I feel like they have looked out for the best solutions for my needs.
I absolutely recommend this company, everyone is so professional. They dont pressure you and they have an excellent product.
Representatives were courteous, punctual and professional. The windows are of excellent quality.
