I paid them 220.00 for furniture I intended on leasing. The description of the furniture is what I bought it for. I had the furniture delivered and didn't get to enjoy it for a week or 2, because my mom passed. I finally sit on it and check it out, it has NONE of the features it's supposed to. R2O ignored my texts. Until I mentioned contacting the Complaintsboard.com. I asked how they plan on making it right. She said by getting the furniture I ordered. They want me to continue paying 2 something a month for the wrong furniture. Also, she said it was false advertising because they don't have that furniture. I think I deserve e a refund because it's not what I ordered. She said they will pay me 36.50, which is the difference in the prices. Okay , but it's not what I ordered. I want a full refund. The only thing correct in the description, is the color of the furniture.

I have sent a message to John B telling him he can pick. up his items on Tuesday at 10:30 and requested that any further communication be via written means only. Mr. B's incessant phone calls to my employer resulted in my losing shifts and a write up being placed in my file as punishment for receiving personal calls at work. Mr. B also threaten to file criminal charges against me and for what I am still unsure. He also told my fellow coworker that my wages were going to be garnished, which is another example of his unethical scare tactics. His behavior is unprofessional and illegal. I am also contacting R2O corporate headquarters to discuss this matter further.
I put a down payment on a desk chair that was supposed to be delivered today, May 5th. I never received the chair because apparently there was a payment due again BEFORE the chair was delivered to me. The home office received my down payment and I received no services or product from this company. I requested a refund of the down payment and was told that there were no refunds.

I woke up this morning and found that REnt 2 own Chillicothe had taken money from my account. I do not have any of their merchandise, nor do I have a standing contract with them.
My wife authorized them to use her card as a 1 time payment and they agreed to do so on 4/9/22. On 4/20/22 they again ran the same card without authorization and admitted to it. Business was unwilling to make things right

Employees came to my home when only my minor child was home. There were no legal adults in the home at the time that they arrived. They spoke with my child and then entered my home and proceeded to walk around my home and question my child. The biggest issue with this whole scenario is that I have never rented a single thing from rent to own in my life. I have also lived in my home for 7 years so it is not simply the people that lived here before me that they were looking for.

Without permission/authorization she withdrew $83.83 from my Ohio EPPI card (Jobs and Family Services card for my children's benefits) account on June 27th, using the saved Ohio EPPI card number from a previous payment I made for my former boyfriend. I asked them to destroy the number after it was used. They have failed to follow security standard enforced by the credit card industry not to keep credit card info on file.
When she came to my home, she said she knew we were still together because she saw his picture on my Facebook page. Though she ins't entitled to an explanation, I shared that I am too busy to update my FB page as I have a lot going on in my life; taking care of my grandfather and my kids. Also, it is irrelevant whether we are together, because I did not sign or co-sign for the item, I am not on the contract.

My sister "***" passed away a couple of months ago. She had been leasing a bed from a local store of yours and I just left everything in her house the way it was for her child's sake. I have custody over everything. I have been making the payments for the bed my sister leased on time not missing a payment as I plan to pay it off. The only thing I have asked of the store is to take off the automatic payments from my old debit card, that I don't use that bank account anymore as they keep over drafting it. I have also asked for months to get online access to the account. I work full time, plus have a 2 special needs children, plus raising my nephew, and taking care of all my sister's finances. I really need this taken care of with rent to own. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Admittedly most of the time I have not paid the monthly account on the day that it is due and in fact I have paid it anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks late. Every month they contact me on the date that it's due and I give them a date that I can pay it. They sometimes just simply update to the date that I stated I would be able to make the promise to pay on. However today my payment was due, unwilling to work with me, I simply stated to *** that I would want to reach out to customer serviceI have answered this question several times but they continuously ask me. Today they contacted me about payment. Said I'd be able to make payment on the 13th. I understand it can be frustrating that I pay late but I always receive an email from corporate when they say I am close to retrieving my item which is usually close to 16 days after due date. We had arranged to pick up the items ourselves but every time we went to pick up the items, there was always a problem or excuse. We finally contacted customer service about the situation and Mike Tissot contacted us to resolve the issue and gave us 12 months same as cash for our troubles. We purchased the items around May 26. About 2 weeks later, we realized that the payment schedule that we originally agreed on was not correct. The dates were suppose to coincide with his paycheck. So we went back to the store to fix that but when we did, they changed the contract agreement and did not say anything to us. We found out later that now we have till September 23 to pay it off or we would owe the full interest. That wasn't even 4 months same as cash. We contacted customer service who informed us that only the store would have the contract information and they were going to have the reginal manager call us but they never did. I sent an email to Mike Tissot explaining the situation but he also never contacted us. This has been a very frustrating and we are now considering returning the items and taking our business somewhere else.

I applied to R2O, to rent a stero system that was reccomended by Nate at the *** store, since I was out of his rental region; he referred me to the ***, Ohio store to follow throug with the *** store and have the item delivered. The manager of the ***, Ohio store; Tamekia W, took my information and refreneces. Come to find out she never contacted my refrences ( I know this by following up with my refrences that no call was made), when my refrences called to speak on my behalf, Ms. W was rude and inconsiderate by releasing information in a statement to a refrence that she was "alarmed by my refrences calling her, and she was not going to approve a rental." Ms. W also did not send my application in for approval, which is store policy and instead declined at her level. My refrences include a doctor of veternary medicine, a doctor of health and wellness, a doctor of linguistics and my employer of 6 years, I own my own home and have no debt. I was only wanting to rent, due to the easy payment plan. After contacting the *** store, Ms. W was again rude and unprofessional. I have sent emails to the district manager and the company head office. This individual, Ms. W did not follow policy and procedure, she released disclosed personal information to a reference. This store and this employee should be looked into for not following proper practices, releasing personal information, and being unprofessional.

We rented a washer, a dryer, and a refrigerator off of rent to own. We expected to deal with the same person in our contract, but we have dealt with SO MANY PPL working th contract and all which have our card information. There next level of stalking and harassment is unreal. They call off of a different cities phone number all the time. I was in a ICU making medical decision for my mom who was on life support, and they cornered me, and took advantage of my vulnerability and backed me into giving them my card over the phone, and that was just last week. Then amounts being declined started happens. In multiple amounts. We have made sure we paid them SOMETHING once a week. But they still continue to use our cards against our permission. We never signed or agreed for them to leave a card on file. We always resorted to paying with cash (even *** a employee) pointed out we're cash people, because we started noticing fraudulent charges appearing off our cards in various amounts. I have screenshot of my bank statements. The last attempt on my card was tried 5x all denied because it was right before my pay day. All five times were different various amount they tried charging my card til it went through. They got 448 dollars off my card, then they say they never charged my card (in a text message) and I have the proof. Also, there DELIVERY DRIVERS. Are high 100% of the time. They came to remove my washer and dryer for repairs and flooded my whole bathroom and left the water there. With out notifying me that the water was on my wood floor in my bathroom and it is now DESTROYED. WARPED, MOLDED, AND DANGEROUS. Twice. TWICE! HAVE TWO SEVERE ASTHMATICS IN THIS HOUSE. AND TWO AUTISTIC CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 10. Mentally 5 people have beat me down with constant reminders of lawsuits and cops over the refrigerator that I've been paying on for over a year and they tell me it's still the original price it is when we signed contract.

So, my problem is I got a washer and dryer from rent 2 own. Which I Love the item took advantage they had of pay 20 dollars for a whole month. I received the items on the 7th when I was supposed to receive it on the 5th so the manager at the time offered me 2 weeks for free for the inconvenience. So, paying the first month would take me to April 7th, 2022 with 2 weeks free that took me to April 21st 2022. I called in on March 30th 2022 to make sure that the payment was going to be ran correctly because I've had some issues happen to where I am a little tight on money. *** was the one I spoke to on the 30th he was yelling at me telling me I was trying to double dip by getting 2 weeks for free and that when I paid the 20 dollars I was pretty much getting a month for free so he said I was already making out. I told him that its not my fault that I took advantage of their promotion of the $20 for a month and then I didn't delivery the wrong items they did and they gave me the 2 weeks for free. So he finally came to understand where I was coming from and said I only owed 10 days for the month of April which I was fine with. I wake up today April 1st with the whole $160 being taken out so I called in and ask for a manger and *** talks to me I explain everything that is going on and she sees that I am correct then I said I shouldn't of had to call in and she asked what my desired outcome was I was I believe I only owe the 1 week 7 days due to being lied to on the 30th and still having to call in on today April 1st to deal with this. On 07/14, I got nasty texts and emails from both a store employee and the store manager, they claimed to have responded to me but I didn't get any phone calls or emails until my husband stated I was in the hospital again and they BOMBARDED me with emails and calls. I am on treatment for organ failure and they expected me to drop and answer everything. Here is what has been going on and it was not addressed except for asking for pick up of the product instead of wanting to continue communication and work something out civilly. I have been having some problems with the store every since I began to rent from you. I wanted a washer/dryer set that you did not have in stock at the time I was wanting to rent it and I was told by the employee he had another set he could rent to me at the same price and it has never been at that price which is lower than what I am paying now which is fine, I understand sometimes employees do things to boost their commission and whatnot. Another big problem that I am having is I have been off work due to the COVID situation and now I am getting put in and out of the hospital as my kidneys and liver is failing due to type 1 diabetes and I am trying to make ends meet, I get constant emails/calls/texts saying about running my card, I'm late, etc. I have called in and emailed to let your store know of the situation and trying to work everything out so I can keep my washer and dryer because right now, I have to keep everything constantly cleaned and sanitized in my house due to my illness, so there is a lot of laundry. They have been quite rude telling me my sickness is not their concern and I have a obligation and I need to take care of it. W *** Now the most recent payment that was ran by your company was ran THREE times. I had authorize them to run the card two days prior to that for one payment and to also do it for one payment owed and it was never ran, so I was charged late fees which I was not happy about. I only authorized it for the current payment plus late fees that was owed and I was charged for three payments and then get a call I will owe twice again this week and I am not going to pay for two weeks again when the money was taken when it was paid the last time. Kjay denies this, but I reported the charges to my bank and also the employee who ran these charges without permission was very rude on the call as well. I don't understand either why I have to pay every week when it is supposed to be set up for every other week and that is just a huge mess. I wouldn't even bother with your store anymore and go back to ***, but since all this money is invested I would just like things to get worked out, but if this continues and nothing gets resolved then I will go somewhere else after I report all of this to the Complaintsboard.com.

I took over my sister's account after her passing and it's been nothing but a hassle. Recently I got covid and had some issues with my heart. I have under went multiple heart procedures,tests, and surgeries. I am still in the hospital at Cabell in Huntington, WV. I have told this to rent 2 own about me not being able to make a payment yet, and still trying to figure out if I should continue with the product or return it. Unfortunately there's not a lot I can do while I am in the hospital on the cicu floor. I have explained this to rent 2 own multiple times, I will make a payment, but I just need some time as I am still in the hospital.
