Selling to them is not worth my time
Out of the blue, they emailed me an "offer to purchase" items I possess and they, eBay, Amazon, and the dark net markets do not have. For the time and cost to pack and ship, I would net Less Than $Zero. Offer me more than pennies for something a customer has asked you to find and is willing to (and will) pay 2,000x that amount.
I just love this place
I just love this place. I've had some hard-to-find Corning and Corelle pieces that I've found nowhere else -- found them at Replacements. Most recently, I was looking for stainless steel flatware pieces; I had absolutely no information on a manufacturer or age. Went in under "bamboo" and "miscellaneous", and there they were. Also was able to date my grandmother's old flatware from the early 1940s. Really love this place. Phone customer service people are so very nice, too.

Absoultly horrible experience! They provide thier offer to purchase list, You send in your items and they claim the items came in broken and are worthless and do not show you any proof of it. For the 1 time they actually did send back items that I would accept thier 1 cent offer for? I got back dirty, cracked pieces from another set that was not mine. I lost alot dealing with them.

I sent in a Brooch that was 14k Pure Gold and Diamond that was in my family forever,
I wish I did not have to sell it but hardships came my way, I thought ok, this will help.
No! They did not honor the price they originally offered. I told them to send it back and I got some piece of costume fake brooch! I cried for days. They will not return my brooch, they do not communicate its been hell.

I ordered a bread and butter plate. They had the exact one I wanted. But when I got it wasn't the one on their website. I contacted them sent them pictures said they couldn"t see pic to big. They finally decided they would pay the return. I would suggest calling first to avoid the hassle. My pattern was the Franciscan October pattern. Won't deal with them again.

Ii will never purchase from this company again. I purchased a sugar bowl for $20 and $10 shipping. I received the bowl and there was a sticker on it from goodwill for $1.99. I realize companies need to make a profit but this is ridiculous.

I recently sold several items of fine china to this company. It was real hassle finding the correct code name for each item, and calling and e-mailing were little help. I sent several items which arrived broken and now I have to deal with the post office to make an insurance claim. I'll never do this again. I'd rather give the items away than deal with all this hassle.

I have used Replacements Ltd. to replace some pieces of my parents' crystal stemware. It was expensive, but was the only place I could find what I needed. Over the last few decades, the popularity of fine china, crystal, sterling silver, and even silver plate flatware has declined greatly. Most couples getting married now don't even request these things.I don't know of anywhere else that has the scope of Replacements.

I love this company for buying needed pieces but would never again try to sell to them! Unless you live nearby and can bring in the pieces, you might like me spend 6X as much on shipping costs as they reimburse. I contacted them via web to locate a Lennox product - was told the item would be pulled to answer a question about origin, and never heard. back from them. Called twice after that - most recently when I received an email stating that the product was located. Found out that the wrong item was pulled. This will be my last purchase from them, if and when they ever locate it.

The longest thing in the whole process was the time it took for me to pack up the china and sent it to them. I highly recommend them.

We've purchased several replacement plates in different patterns (Lenox, Savoire Vivre, etc.) and glassware (Ralph Lauren) from Replacements.com over the last five years, and have had nothing but great experiences. When you call, they answer the phone, and are very attentive to customer needs. The items we've received have all been packed thoroughly so that nothing breaks. I get the impression they are a small business; we like ordering from here and supporting them. Hope this helps.

When the glass lid arrived, the size was correct, but the shape was oval instead of round as it appeared in the photo. I used the return paperwork and attached the label to the box. The closest shipping to me is UPS which cost me $25.32. When the box was returned to me and I talked to your customer service rep, he told me UPS does not ship to Replacements. I see that now on the form, in faint type. It is not worth another shipping cost for me to return this item to Replacements and I will discard it. Please darken or enlarge the type on your form to prevent other customers from making this mistake.

I place and order for teaspoons or also call soup spoons. (picture shown on web) . Which they sent Table spoons. Mail back to them at my cost. Because it was the wrong kind of spoons. They only refunding my spoon price, even though I paid the shipping and tax to receive the items. Know I did read that I will have to pay to mail back ,which I can under stand it wasn't free shipping. But for them to keep my shipping & tax money is wrong. So this is putting me out just over $18.00 and I don't have any thing to show for it. that is shipping both way. I had to drive 19 mile to the post office should I charge them for my gas for doing this as well? I am upset and I will pass this info on to my friends about this company. Side note: I am l Learning not to shop on line to much misleading information.

I ordered Dansk Christianshavn china and was VERY disappointed. I specifically ordered "Thailand" manufactured pasta bowls (4), soup rim bowls (3), plate (3), and all purpose bowl (3) to replace the ones that were broken over the years. To my dismay, the material was MUCH lighter, the rims on the products did not have the full blue color, and on the back of the products, it did not state it was made in Thailand. When I compared the new plates to the old plates, they are DEFINTELY not the same quality and design. I called customer service and explained the difference. I also stated that they need to take out "made in Thailand" since it's clearly not made in that country because it's not written on the back of the plate and the material is less than par. From the consumer perspective, it appears that this company is deceiving and charging customers more for a product that is not the same as the description. The customer service man was very nonchalant and was not helpful. PLEASE do NOT buy from these people. You can get the same products from Macy's for a little more and know that they won't deceive you and if there was something wrong, they would be happy to replace the products.

I've got a couple of purchase experiences. I had been buying my selected pattern of sterling flatware on ebay from various sellers and had a pretty good experience. I was still looking for dinner sized forks to match and the only seller offering them at that time was Replacements. I purchased them as used in excellent condition. They arrived with each of the 12 pieces sealed in a plastic sleeve as though they were new and they looked absolutely brand new! All polished up with the manufacturer's detail highlighted as intended. Marvelous! Just recently I began the same process purchasing pieces of a sterling silver coffee/tea service on-line. I looked at Replacements initially, but they didn't have all the pieces, and their prices were a bit high on those they had. I found the tea pot, the sugar bowl, the creamer, and the waste container through a few sellers and they arrived in good condition. I could not find the tray or the coffee pot anywhere else, so ordered them from Replacements. I wish I had had the ability to order all those pieces from Replacements as the tray and coffee pot arrived in heavy plastic bags and shined to look brand spanking new! Had they had the other pieces I had purchased elsewhere, I think I would have returned those to the sellers and bought yours instead! The condition of the items makes them worth a bit more. I am on your waitlist for the matching hot water kettle.

A dreadful company
A dreadful company. I was sold a piece of Denby Imperial blue. It was advertised as having scratches and imperfections and I didn't mind that as it was simply to replace a single broken dish. However, when the piece arrived it was absolutely NOT Imperial Blue and should never have been classified as so. The color was entirely different, it was a matte dish without any glaze and without the brown color characteristics that form an intrinsic part of Imperial Blue. I have owned Imperial Blue since 1990 and have exactly the same dish of the various production years since then to the current date. I have 7 pieces of the exact same dish in my cupboards currently of the different production years and can categorically state that the piece sent to me is absolutely NOT Imperial Blue which was NEVER produced without some form of glaze. Any company that lists china and dinnerware for sale - even replacement pieces, should know what stock it has and particularly from such a well known range and manufacturer. When I reached out to Replacements Ltd about the problem - they simply indicated that I should ship it back AT MY COST and they would refund me but they would not refund shipping. They also told me that they would only accept shipping from one company and no,one else. It would cost me more to ship than they would be paying to refund me! I personally find their response abhorrent and should anyone from their company like to learn what Imperial Blue SHOULD look like from the initial launch of production through the current date - they should contact this Englishwoman who has bought and owned hundreds of pieces of this range of Denby since its launch - they are currently sitting in my cupboards. Because what they are selling to the US public - isn't what they are advertising.
