Car pick up
On December 10th I called to schedule a medical appointment for December 12 with a Neurologist which took me three months to get. Sentry sends me a text telling me the driver, car brand and licence number of pick-up car and tells me he will be by me at 1:25. At 12:45 I called AAR was told they were trying to get a car. (my appointment was at 2pm...

Read full review of Access A RideRides not accommodating to people with disability
My friend requested low cars due to a physical disability, however the requirements were not met and she had difficulty getting into the vehicle. This happened on May 31, 2022 and the same occurred at numerous other days! AAR should comply with what they stand for, to accommodate people with disability! Secondly, she has a trip set for the same time every day, but the cars do not arrive on time, and she gets late to work and appointments! It would be greatly appreciated if AAR can improve in this matter.
Desired outcome: meet the requirements of customers and be more punctual
mailbox
On saturday, nove 3, 2018 van number 4540 was at the end of sloane ave staten island and instead of making a u turn to pick me up in front of my house at 14 sloane ave he decided to back up all the way to my address and he ran into my mailbox and damage it I try to yell to him to stop but he didn't hear me.
I have a mail box that is damage I don't know if it could be fixed.
The driver name is wilfredo velez
I was so mad at him for not paying attention but I should not be paying for the damage or even if I have to buy a new mailbox
I am trying to ge a handy man to give me a price as to if the mailbox can be fixed or if I have to purchase a new one.
I took pictures of the mailbox if you need them please contact me at [protected]

e-hail green taxi #ba938/israel
Access a ride called me on my cellphone around 4:28pm to inform that the carrier that was assigned to me was severely behind & asked if I wouldn't mind taking an E-Hail green cab home. I agreed. The driver called me from (610) 463-1431 @ 4:58pm for my 5:05pm pickup. I approached the car @ 5:03pm. He drove off. I called him he wouldn't pickup.
I called the e-hail number (718) 954-9440 they were not helpful. From 5:05pm they dispatched BA678 the car circled around a block which was across the street from the address where I was standing. I finally was dispatched a car after I called access a ride to complain. I am extremely late to pick up my child as I sit here at 6:22pm; I will be held liable to pay $20 due to the first driver refusing to pick me up I believe because of the color of my skin...discrimination. This is so wrong on so many levels.
Please give me a call once you've read this as I will be escalating this incident.
Regards,
L. Taylor

rarely on time/always take the longest route
Although this is the most inexpensive way for disabled/handicapped to travel, the service is not to par. Since this is a government agency(?) i would think it would be managed in a better way. Most of us veterans use this service since we have health issues and a doctor had to provide the information as to why we use the service. I personally feel we served our country and now in our time of need we are either made to wait long periods of time, disrespected and sometimes drivers outright lie, say no show, i call back and person tells me that it's my problem on how i get to my doctors' visit. Respect and empathy are not much to ask. Must say that i am grateful for access a ride, i can't afford taxis all the time. Seniors, disabled/handicapped and most retirees don't have that kind of money. Thank You.
