Promises to help find government grants. Pretty much takes me in circles and gives no information. Also, they have charged my checking account $57.61 with no notification. Someone is making a great deal of money on this SCAM!

I was told that I was only going to be charged $1.95, not $38.21 for the Text Guide, and $57.61 for the Membership (totaling $95.82). I would appreciate if grants360 would credit the $95.82 back into my account right away. I don't have money to give away to anybody(this includes grants360). Reference No. 2206563

I, too, was taken by this so called company. They took the $1.95 and then an addition $57.61, when I called in an effort to get my money back they sent a refund request form, I filled it out and now they have offered me $41.61 as a refund $16 for a day, a little high I think, also when I called them I asked where they were, I knew it wasn't USA from the speech of the girl on the phone but she said they were in Madera, California. I went to www.grants360.com/external/support, following is our conversation
Pep:
Hi
:
Morning
Pep:
Let me assist you with your concern but please allow me to pull up the record first.
Fine
Pep:
May I have your email address and the name of the site you subscribed please so I can pull up first your account.
:
My e-mail is, the site is Grants360
Pep:
Thank you for the information please hold while I pull up the record.
Pep:
Thank you for waiting...
Pep:
I have now your record.
Pep:
It shows that your subscription has been cancelled. You will no longer be billed after the cancellation.

I know that, but since I cancelled this subscription with 2 days times the additional $57.61 taken from me should be refunded.
Pep:
With regards to your refund, please response to the email from the refund department insisting for full refund.
:
I got the email and it appears they have me over a barrel and will only give me back $41.61, this simply isn't right, they are keeping $16 for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
Did you hang up?
Pep:
Please response to that email insisting for full refund.
I have taken out my name that is the reason for the gaps in the transcript.

Grants360 is a scam. Expected only $1.95 to be deducted, which they did, then the following day they deducted $57.61. They promised a "kit" and/or online version. Neither one happened.
They have two phone numbers [protected] and [protected]. I am begining to call those two numbers 10 to 12 times a day. Hope all of you reading this will do the same. Demand your money back. One of you suggested we contact the attorney general. Good idear. Does anyone know how.

i applied for an offer for $1.95 to look into a federal grant but did not realize that the offer for the dollar ninty-five was good only for one day and the next day there was $57.00 taken out of my account which over drew my account and added over-draft fees i can not afford. whechildrenn i called my account this morning i was not very happy. had i known i was going to have the other fees taken out of my account i wouldn't have done the so called special offer. i have called and canceled the application for the grant kit and would like my money back please. i am single and am supporting 4 children and can not afford all the overdraft charges and extra things. i thought that i would only be spending a $1.95 so please help me get my money back

yes these people are crooks, they've loaded up the small type with caveats and limitations...I got taken by buying a day's glimpse of a list and was automatically given a subscription, debited to my VISA which I failed to cancel within 24 days.

They've now offered me a partial rebate. I accepted but I will never again buy anything on the internet with a credit card.

The web is now full of these crooks who are enabled by the credit card companies and banks..

grants360 rip off w/unauthorized charges

This company advertises a month of service for $1.95 and then you can cancel if it doesn't serve your purposes. What they do is charge your credit card for the $1.95 and also for $38.21 for a Tax Refund Guide that you didn't authorize and also the next day $57.61 for membership.

I now know not to trust what CNN, MSN say is a good deal. That advertisment was probably a scam too. BBB cant touch them because they are out of the country. How can an outsider offer Government Grants In the United States. Unless they are not US Grants What a scam. I wish I could mark scam all over their web site.
Good luck in getting your money back. I won't happen. If anyone know an international complaint department that will help let me know. I will go to battle.

I was supposed to be charged $1.95 for shipping of a CD regarding grants. I was called by my bank and the said there was an extra charge of 56.71 charged to my account plus 6 cents (whatever that was for). I called today and asked them to cancel the order. Why in the world would they add an extra charge and not tell you? I will not ever do that again. This a learning experience. In fact, I won't order anything else online. The company should be put out of business. Is this how the government makes it's money?

This web site offered an offical government grant kit for $1.95. Furthermore, there were charges made to my credit card card that are non refundable. Plus, they never sent me a email. I used the user name & password, the web site does not exsit. I am a single parent w/ a disability and the grant was greatly needed for debts, housing and education.

After signing up (with my grandmother's debit card) in hopes of a packet of legitimate information that there is free government money out there for students like myself, I came upon this website with dozens of complaints. Terrified, I called IMMEDIATELY & canceled my membership. I have ONLY been charged the $1.95 that I signed up with, but will not be charged the $57 of the first month. If you look in the TERMS page, if you call within 1 day, you will not be responsible for the first month's payment.

CANCEL IMMEDIATELY! [protected],
or they WILL BILL YOU!

I also recorded the telephone conversation with the representative I spoke to, who assured me I would not be charged anymore than $1.95, in case there were any added fees or inconsistencies :).

I was told I would be charged 1.95 and a few days later I was charged 57.61 without my permission. The user id or password did not work. I would like a refund and you need to stop taking money from hard working people trying to better themselves and the lives of their family.

And when looking at the link you see above there is an area of small print which descrides the charges ..This was not there when I signed up for the 1.97 grant information.. I know what is to good to be true usually is. If they are going to charge me 57.00 for information then the information should at least be good right..I think so. Then to charge me another 37 .00 for information about taxes which i never even asked for in just fraud plain and simple.
