Hyper Auto Parts Don't do business with this people

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! I ordered racing seats on Apr 4, 2011, today is July 2 and no seats yet. I have been lied to constantly and now they can't be reached. No response to emails or calls. I did some research and found that there is no building, warehouse etc. on google maps. I even did an arial view of the property. There is a pharmacy at the Toronto address and an office building at the Walnut, CA address with many buisnesses there but NO Hyper auto parts. I called infomation in Toronto and there is no listing for any such buisness in Toronto. These people are scam artists, probably working out of their home. Each time I did speak with one of their operators, I spoke to the same woman with a foreign accent. I contacted my credit card company and reported them. I was given a credit to my account and they assured me that they would investigate (thanks VISA). Each time I call, it goes straight to voicemail. There are plenty of reputable companies to choose from so don't waste your time with these people.

Hyper Auto Parts Product out of Stock

I called this compant on a Friday evening about ordering a set of racing seats and a lady told me that their were ten available. I then proceed online and make my purchase with my debit card and after making my payment the next day i receive an EMAIL..(couldnt even call to inform me) letting me know it would be 6months or more because the item is on back order. I then try to call the 866 number several day all day long and sent numerous emails and finally after i sent them a rude hateful email they then call me and tell me that ALL of their racing seats but only a few sets were discontinued..I asked why sell the product if its discontinued and she said that You can order but it will be 6 months or more.. I then just asked for my full refund. and I will be reporting this to the B.B.B. I can not believe any company could still be open after this many terraible complaints. I WOULD NOT recommend this company to ANYONE!

Did you get a refund? We are having problems now, no one won't answer the phone but will so so answer email. we paid to get seats in 7 to 10 days n now they are saying 20 to 30 days. We just want to get our money back, can you tell us how to do that.

Hyper Auto Parts Car Parts Scamers

I ordered Seats from this Sham of a Company on 11-23-11. 2 weeks later I emailed (Email was my only choice as they do not answer the phone) to inquiry status. Got the annoying auto-response email saying "Our Client Care Department has received your inquiry and a client care specialist will be in contact with you shortly.". This of course is a lie, a week later I get an email from "Alex" saying my seats were discontinued (But they are STILL offered on their website as of 1-4-12) and offered me a choice of 2 different seats. I instantly replied with my choice. Got the damn auto-response again. I tried calling a week later as I had no response to my order change. I was surprised when someone answered the phone. She said they never got my order change. She posted it then and said it would go out soon. I called at the end of that week and surprise She answered again and told me the order was at the warehouse for shipping. 5 working days later I tried calling and no answer (FYI I have never got through on the phone again as of 1-4-12), so I emailed, Auto-response again and waited. 2 days later "Alex" Replied that it my seat would ship by "End of the week". I wait till yesterday (1-3-12) And tried calling again, no answer. So I emailed asking why I had no tracking number as promised. Auto-response again, but nothing from "Alex". I have notified my bank and am Calling my Attorney. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these scammers!

I've been scammed too! I placed an order for Recaro racing seats. They will not answer the phone or return my emails. Bank said they will return my $308.

I'm going through the same thing with regards to Hyper Auto parts. I placed an order for Sparco seats on march 5. So far no product and I'm trying to get my money back through the Bank. We will see

Hyper Auto Parts No refund

After deciding to cancel my order because I didn't want to pay an extra $250.00 on top of the $150.00 dollars for shipping (I live in Hawaii), I requested Hyper Auto Parts to cancel my order and refund my money. The employee on the phone was really polite and said "sure we will refund your money no problem. It will take 7-10 business days." After I call back a week later to check the status, a didfferent employee informs me that "the refund was never processed and that it is going to take another 7-10 business days." TALK ABOUT A RUN-AROUND. DO NOT ORDER FROM Hyper Auto Parts. They will take your money!

Peterjay must work for hyper auto parts, trying to save them some face. Every one I know that has ordered from hyper has had their order screwed up one way or another. Kick rocks hyper auto farts!

I ordered some seats from Hyper Auto parts.The seats were at a excellent price, So I ordered them. I got a e-mail confirming my order. About the time another e-mail said the seats I ordered were on back order for 30 days and were offered a different set of seats for an additional $79. I decided to wait for the original order and after 30 days I inquired as to the status of the order. I recieved an email stating " Those seats as you know are on backorder for at least 60-90 days. We just heard from the warehouse and they advised us there will be a further delay due to some problems with the manufacturing. Sorry about that. If you wish, you can upgrade to the matrix black yellow seats. Please advise". Interesting that I didn't know the seats were 60-90 days delayed and further delayed until further notice... at this point I requested a refund and recieved an email from Alex who is their CSR (customer service rep?) saying "A refund has been issued per your request. Please allow 7-10 business days for the money to be back into your account.Best regards, Alex". This was 24 Aug 2011 and as of 13 Sep 2011 still no refund. I have called my bank to file a fraud complaint and dispute the charges. I would stay away from doing business with these people, really shady bunch...

well im not competition and had purchased a pair of seats and the sliders were installed off center, so if i was to center them and drill and tap new holes they would blend with the pre existing holes, and also the slider handle would also pop right over the bracket (witch came from the same manufacturer) so the seat would be in free flow motion yeah great quality huh? and because i had opened the box i cant return them give me a ###in break . yeah their at a "great price" but the quality and customer service is a ###ing joke and you marc 12 prolly have the same return policy as them dont ya ?

I totally disagree with the above comment. I have been dealing with Hyperauto for a long time now. I buy seats from them all the time as I have a bodyshop and sell a lot of their seats. they are a great price! I think their competitors are posting these complaints to get business away from them!

I ordered from hyperautoparts back in January. I got my seats within 7 days and they were great for the price. One of the knobs of the seats broke a week later when I accidently jabbed it and I called them up to replace it. Not only did the send me the knob I got a free t-shirt and a banner for my car. They were extremely helpful in getting my problem solved and gave me free stuff that I didn't even ask for. I would definetly recommend them.

Hyper Auto Parts Racing Seats

I wish I would have read this board prior to trying to puchase seats: Stupid Me! I tried to order black with orange racing seats and got a response via email that they were not in stock, but they had orange with black. I approved this change and received an email from Alex "your order has been changed to orange and black, we will send tracking number by email (this was 3/22/2011). After numerous attempts to contact them via email & numerous phone calls for the tracking number, on 4/4/2011 I actually talked to a representative on the phone. She stated that the product was out of stock and had not been shipped. She knew nothing about Alex's email saying that they were shipped. I questioned to be sure "you haven't even shipped them yet" and her response was no. I cancelled the order immediately and am attempting to file a claim for refund thru Visa. Anyone that is considering this company, beware, this is obviously a scam. Any company that takes money knowingly not having the product available are just common thieves.

It is almost humerous, the only good remark in this complaint sections is "IT ALEX".

I ORDER SEATS SAID THEY HAD THEM IN STOCK WAITED THE 15 TO 20 WORKING DAYS . THEN HAD TO CANCEL ON MY CRESIT CARD. I ALSO WAS BILLED FOR SOME KIND OF SHIPPING CHARGES THAT I DID NOT DO. MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY CALL THEY REMOVE THE CHARGES . I THINK IT FROM THIS COMPANY BUT HAVE NO WAY TO PROVE IT. BEWARE THEY STARTED ANOTHER SEAT COMPANY TOO.

I am making sure I post this on every version of the Hyper Auto Parts complaint board. The seats were finally delivered. The stitching is so off at the seams, it needs to be resewn. The brackets that attach to the floor have weird-shaped holes that don't match the standard configuration so those will also have to be modified. It gets worse. Our credit card numbers were stolen by this company and used in London England, in New Jersey, and in Colorado. I know it was this company because this is the only place the card was used months before and after the purchase. And other postings of complaints about this company mentioned credit card numbers being stolen. I filed a report with the police and was told appropriate action will be taken. So watch your cards and be sure to notify Master Card or VISA if you see any weird charges. These guys deserve to be kicked in their tailpipes.

I agree with all of you that has had problems with this company. I have been waiting over 45 days for my racing seats. They took the money and said they would be here in 15-20 days. I already told them that I am about to file a civil suit against them. I told them if they did not have my seats by this Friday (March 16), that I was filing. If anyone wants to help me out here, feel free.I have not heard a word from them since i emailed about the civil suit. This is called false advertisement and is ripping people off.

I also wish I had red this before ordering I am having the same trouble no one answers the 800 line and they dont respond to e=mail their must be someone we can contact who can put this co. out of business they are a major ripoff. They took my money but no merchandise has been seen, michigan challenger

i totally agree...and when users use whole first and last name in their username and try to debunk your claim...(i.e. mathew thompson and peter whatever it was) ucan be sure they are p.r. reps in cahoots with these scammers...im sorry but if my bride seats were $ 430 per seat...there something wrong when a company offers a set of "racing" seats for $ 270 including shipping...

I did the same stupid thing, it would not have done any good to contact the better busines because they ahve no record of them. I ordered a pair of seats from hyperautoparts in june. they then emailed me that they would not have the seat for 14-20 days, but could substitute another. I asked if they could substitute another pvc type and they said they didn't have any of that type in the warehouses. kind of strange, not carrying any of the 10 shown online. I requested a refund, they said it would be 7-10 Days. I waited 10 days, no refund. I said oh oh. I called them and in the middle of explaining my need for a refund I was mysteriously cut off. each and every time after that I tried to call back I got this beeping noise. i figured they had marked my number and I was not getting through again. I later contacted the BBB and can't even file a complaint because they have no record of them. I agree with others that I think its a shell game and they have no warehouses and have no intention of selling anything.

Same story as most of you here! Ordered the seats, was informed they were on backorder AFTER they had already deducted the money from my account, then offered an "upgrade" or wait an additional 90 days! I informed them in writing I wanted to cancel the order and have it refunded then "Alex" said he never received the message yet the reply of his message had my request to cancel quoted below his response! Haha! Liers and scammers is all this company is. I doubt ANYONE has ever received a tangible physical item. Running a trace on the addresses shows a McDonalds and shopping mall...not a legit business building. SCAMMERS!

I bought seats from Hyperautoparts.com and they were delivered within 10 days. the seats are great and Alex was very helpful with the whole order. In fact, I've even recommended them to all my friends. Hyperautoparts.com is a great website and they have the cheapest prices and really good customer service. I don't understand people complaining about stupid things.

Hyper Auto Parts Defective Seats

When I received my seats and opened the cartons I noticed one seat that was defective. I called to an RMA# and was told I couldn't return the seats because I had opened the box. I ask this person (Pam Kaur) on the phone how else could I tell if you shipped me the correct product and that they were not damaged or defective if I didn't open the box and she said sorry but that is company policy. After months of fighting with these people they told me to ship the seats back and they would credit my account minus shipping and a 30% restocking fee. Well it's been more than a month since the seats were delivered back to them and I have not received credit nor can I get them to return my emails. Very dishonest company and would strongly suggest not ordering any thing from this company.

well i had read the terms and conditions and well my story is the same as the above, and yo peter jay its kinda ###ed up that a company sends out defective items and then will refuse a return... really, they shouldve just robbed me at gun point ive never had such a bad exp. with a parts distributor and will bad mouth them on any review i can find

Hyperautoparts has great prices which is why everyone buys from them. What do you expect for a pair of seats for $279 shipped. Even if you want to return them, it would cost you over $100 just to ship them back and what's the point. I think rather than complaining people should read the terms/conditions before buying that way you can be sure where you stand. It's not the companies fault that you failed to do your homework. I ordered seats from them last year and they are still great.

Hyper Auto Parts Buyer beware

I ordered some seats from Hyper Auto parts.The seats were at a good price, So I ordered them. I got a e-mail confirming my order.About the time another e-mail said the seats I ordered were on back order and could be on back order as long as 30 days.They offered another choice.I called them to talk to them.During the conversation, I asked, wonder if I decide to cancel my order, I was told that their would be a 30% restock fee.I said how could their be a restock fee when I haven't received the seat yet and you don't have the seat in stock.I was told that it was company policy.The last line on their guarantee states, If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with all aspect of our product you may return them for a full refund minus (I don't know what that means, maybe it's the 30% restock fee they didn't tell anybody about) and shipping, their again I have nothing to return.I also read their term and conditions in their was refund information.It did state the I was subject to the 30% charge. The key word here is subject. As I said before, how can a company charge a restock fee when they don't have the product in stock and I haven't even received the product.I also wanted to talk to the manager, they haven't return my calls.This company is deceiving.I have called my bank to dispute the charges.Buyer beware

I ordered racing seats from this co on Dec 17th they took lmy money but will not return a phone call or e-mail. I called ltheir l800 no. several times finally got a hold of a lady who said I would have a shipping date and tracking no. by Dec 28th No such luck. I would highly recommend not doing business with this so called co. Their word isnt worth much, I am turning it over to the athorities.

I ordered two seats and four point seat belts. There site said that they would be delivered in 7 to 10 days. I recieved the seat belts but not the seats. They do not answer the phone and will not return youre e-mail. Do not order anything from these people! This is a rip off company and should be avoided.

Ordered racing seats on April 13th. After 2 weeks wit NO correspondence from them I try calling and the phone never is answered. I then go and research the reviews which I should have done before I ordered. I send three emails over the next week. No replies. I file a dispute with my bank and wouldn't you know it, I receive an email. I call and they finally answer and blame the phone problems on a new answering service in the Philippines. I am assured by Lisa on 05/02/2012 that the order is processed and they will ship by Friday 05/04/2012. I get no updates so on 05/08/2012 I send more emails only to receive the standard reply that it it 20 - 25 business days to receive the seats. I reply that I was assured they would ship 05/04/2012. He then says he will ask the warehouse to expedite. Check on 05/11/2012 no update. On 05/16/2012 which was the date I was told I would for sure have these I learn from Lisa they still have not shipped. I call my back and CC company to proceed with the dispute for a complete reversal of the charges as these have not even shipped yet. I advise Lisa of this and she states that she will just cancel the order. STAY AWAY from these scammers. What horrible service and the blatant lie that they have two shipping locations. I will now proceed to order ny seats from a reputable company. HYPER AUTO IS AWFUL!

they finally gave me a tracking number however when i called fedex to check on it they informed me that hyper ordered a pickup for a package (recieved a tracking number) but had no package to be picked up. I called the goofy "cuss word" at customer service repeatedly for days until someone answered today. She gave me a number to their "warehouse" [protected] and told me to ask for an "Edward" I spoke to everybody but and was told that my seats are still in processing. And that it was something on hypers part that wouldnt let them send them but believe it or not he had no idea as to what. I am currently playing their little game but once i get my seats or decide i dont care anymore I will do everyhting in my power to shut them down! Sorry about your husband. nybody reading this that are currently in the same position should immediately cancel whatever card they used!

it gets worse folks. my husband ordered the seats dec 17 2011. he had to call and harass them to get the seats. same runaround--seats not in stock, we'll send you something else. the seats we got on 2/20/2012 have to be restitched because the seams are off so bad. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, my husband died suddenly 2 weeks ago. today I got a call from VISA that his credit card was being used in London, UK. We live in Michigan. Since he hadn't used this card in months before and after this purchase, I am positive this company is responsible for or involved in the fraud. Our bank is now actively involved, so you bad guys better fold up your tents and move on cuz the law is comin' for you!

my credit card info was stolen today. I don't know if this is related to the purchase of the seats, but it is the only online purchase I have made in the last 4 months with this card. I should have used PayPal

We are dealing with this company now. We brought two seats from them n had it shipped to us for just under 50.00 in 7 to 10 days. We try to contact the company and no one answer the phone but will send an off email, short with nothing really in it.

finally recieved the seats on the 21st of Feb. Other than a couple of small stiching issues they are nice seats I am not going to send them back for warranty as I am having the lrear seat done to match and the co. that is doing it will repair the stiching for free. I am never going to do business with this co. again as they do not respond to e-mail or phone calls and take way too long to get the merchandise. Hope this helps
