We scheduled in July for a vacation in October. Hurricane Heleen hit our area the last week of September and because we didn't take out vacation protection, they screwed us out of our trip. We made multiple calls, and they couldn't give any answers and after multiple calls, we have no choice but to cancel. They wouldn't offer a voucher or any part of a...

We rented a vacation property from Vacasa. It is located at 111 Noble Road in Fairview, NC. Hurricane Helene devastated Western NC-including the Fairview community where the rental is located. Trees were down, there was widespread flooding, businesses and tourist attractions were closed. In short-it was no longer a feasible or desirable place to celebrate...

In August of this year I booked a 6 night stay at a property in Matapalo, Costa Rica with Vacasa. I received an email to say I had been successful. I subsequently received an email saying that I needed to verify my identity. This conflicted with the email saying that I had been successful with my booking. I called Vacasa to verify my ID. After a 15...

A/C didn’t work ( the temperature didn’t go down lower then 80F)
Bed linens were dirty on most of the beds, so I needed to strip the beds and wash the linens by myself, only to find out that the dryer is not working.
It was late at night and so we slept with no linens first day. Next day customer service told me I can just dry everything outside :)
Towels were wet and dirty upon arrival, and again I washed them but couldn’t use them because the dryer didn't work.
Dryer didn’t work
Fan didn’t work
All in all it was completely disappointing experience, since it was long awaited vacation with my family, that got ruined. In addition to all this issues, I had to spend my vacation time calling customer service a few times each day trying to resolve issues, and all I would get every time is a promise that the local team is going to be out in just a little bit.
For the 3 night and 4 days nothings was resolved.
Desired outcome: Full refund of the fees.

Do not use vacasa they are thieves
Your policy states that one should cancel before 30 days. My reservation was made less than 30 days ago, so it seems like your company is inappropriately withholding people's money and not allowing them to amend their stay dates. Both mine and my attorney have perused your policy. Your policy doesn't stipulate that you can withhold payment for guests who...

We had booked this for a one night rental on June 7-8. When getting to the room we couldn’t figure out the code because it had yet to be sent to us so we contacted vacassa and waiting outside on the phone for 30 minutes trying to get the code. Finally got it got inside found mold on the beds/ceiling, and the couch pull out bed. Had sand all over the floors, the balcony door was extremely hard to open, the ceiling fan didn’t work so it was very hot all night. The most concern we had was the mold and the desk manager didn’t want to do anything for us and told us we had to contact vacassa. We have pictures for proof and would honestly just like a refund and for the room to be fixed
Claimed loss: Over $400
Desired outcome: A full refund

Being left out in the heat for 30 minutes waiting for a code that should have been sent beforehand is just the beginning of the problem.
You deserve better, and it's clear that Vacasa needs to step up and address this immediately. Demand a full refund and make sure they know that this kind of service is not going to fly. Your health and comfort should be their top priority. Stay strong and keep pushing for what you deserve. They need to fix this and ensure no one else has to go through what you did.
Patricia Grand Myrtle Beach SC
Run away, don't just walk. The worst hotel in Myrtle Beach. At check-in, don't think about showing up at 5 minutes till 4. Check-in is 4PM. Rose at the front desk told us to wait till 4 and then informed us our room wasn't ready. Very rude and poor customer service. Plan on barking dogs from pets left alone in rooms. We ended up leaving a day early after listening for two days due to a yapping dog near our room. Also, watch the added fees. After checking in, DO NOT EXPECT ANY DAILY CLEANING OR RESTOCK OF TOWELS OR LINEN. What are these fees? It appears they just inflate the actual cost of room. Also, don't expect any help from Vacasa. Just canned answers to any issue you may have. Again, RUN.
Claimed loss: One day cost of stay
Desired outcome: Refund us for one day from our original checkout of May 23.

Rental management services
I was contacted in May of 2023 by a Vacasa sales rep. I was told that if I switched to them over my existing property management, they would give me more of a share of funds and would guarantee my place would be listed by the holidays. We agreed to onboard Oct 17. I gave them permission to onboard and they entered my home under the pretense of onboarding. They then went dark despite our signed mutual contract for services. They “forgot” to file a permit for short term rentals and then stalled as long as they could. When it was too late to list my place for the holidays, they told me they wouldn’t onboard my home for unclear reasons. Turns out, they were just stealing my business from a competitor to bring supply in the area down and to artificially inflate rental prices in the area. They had no intention of listing my place and instead deceived me in their bait and switch scam
Claimed loss: $4000
Desired outcome: Payment of my lost revenue from their negligence and lies
Lack of cleanliness and lack 9f customer service
We rented a little cabin in Rockaway Beach Oregon to use as a clean quiet place to bring my granddaughter to after she had surgery. Last minute they postponed her surgery but we all went to the cabin anyway... Had my granddaughter had her surgery this cabin WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ACCEPTABLE. Dirty sheets with no back ups... Mold around the tub dishes scattered In odd places but most were still dirty some were found under sink with cleaning supplies. 1 shampoo/conditioner. Reached out 3 times to vacasa was told the local team would be in touch but that never happened
Desired outcome: an apology to my daughter. a refund for that dirty nasty cabin and comping them for when my granddaughter rescheduled surgery takes place Dec 5-8 and at totally different property. close to tillimook hospital

Navigator – Gold Beach Oregon – Con # V88PRQHN This place should NOT be allowed to be rented. It is disgusting. Tell me, what would you have done when you arrived finding a house in this condition after driving 5 hours with a 3 & 5 year old. 1. No lock box key. Had to call for a different code for lock box on post. 2. Entry area & two bedrooms near...

Do NOT! Rent from them! Terrible company! Dirt y house! Linens- one sheet per bed. Broken towel bars in bath rooms, curtain rods, ice maker, all dresser drawers broken. Back sliding door can’t open. Worst part - no one responds to calls! Just keep getting auto texts. It’s a complete dump! Putting in credit card dispute for all $ to be returned. Disgusting! Same reviews as year ago. Wish I had seen them!
Desired outcome: $ back!!!
Vacasa vacation rental
The house represented in the pictures did not exist. I went to the address and called support to confirm the address. The house looked like somethiing from the Munster's house. Not the beautiful house with a large red deck with furniture and a green yard with a fence lining the driveway. There was no red porch, no grass, no fence, no 209 beside the door. No...

I used Vacasa as the middleman for a family vacation when I went through AirBNB this year. And when I left the property, I forgot a couple items (fishing rods), so I contacted Vacasa on my ride home asking them to have the cleaning staff to gather my items and I would gladly pay to have them sent back to me. Seems pretty reasonable. Well, it has been...

Shame on you Vacasa! Every single inch of this house is beat! It is disgusting! The rental we stayed at is called “Silverheels Splendor” in Silverthorne Colorado. The photos that are posted on the Vacasa website must be several years old. Please look at the real photos to see for yourself. I did a review on their website and they only put up my name...

I signed up with vacasa in may of 2022. They took over a month just to get my property listed and everything has been a disaster since then. It would be a very long rambling list if I were to explain all the ways they messed up but it should suffice to say they have been nothing but headaches. They repeatedly billed me for erroneous charges and were so...
