Very good sequel
So far the look of the game is a very good improvement to the first, the mechanics are the same so nothing bad to say abt that. The cosmetics are outstanding compared to the first rider (so much variety even in just this early stage :0). The new map generations are lots more fun and unique. The idea “worlds” part of this could go pretty far. Stands well next to the first. Literally my only complaint is having a timer between our challenges, sometimes man’s jus wanna grind. Other than that, great mobile game.
good game
I have been waiting for this game for weeks, it’s finally here. it came out at 11:01 pm last night, i played it as soon as possible.
It doesn’t feel like old rider. Yes, that’s a given, but the old rider’s charm was the simplicity of it, getting your wheel stuck under a platform sometimes, trying really hard to get a perfect 5x flip. But in Worlds, the simplicity is gone, replaced with tons of chests and customization options (i do like the customization). I think i will continue to play the old rider, but good game here, would recommend
Game is great, but frame rate stuttering makes it unplayable
What the title says. Wasn’t much of a problem in worlds one and two, but once I got world three unlocked, my whole game will stutter every few seconds. It makes you over turn so you don’t get a perfect landing, or even lane upside down. There has been numerous times where I’ve been about to complete a challenge and the skip ends up ruining it.
I loved the original, and I was having a blast with this one before this problem happened. It’s a great game for killing time, but it’s supposed to be relaxing and rewarding, not frustrating. Please fix the issue devs.

Pros
- Engaging Gameplay: Rider offers an addictive and challenging gameplay experience where players must navigate a futuristic bike through various obstacles and perform stunts. The simplicity of the controls combined with the complexity of the levels keeps players engaged and entertained.
- Visually Appealing Graphics: The game features a sleek, neon-infused aesthetic that is both modern and reminiscent of classic arcade games. The vibrant colors and smooth animations make for an eye-catching visual experience that enhances the overall enjoyment of the game.
- Progression and Unlockables: Rider includes a progression system that rewards players with new bikes and different trails as they achieve higher scores and complete challenges. This adds a sense of accomplishment and provides an incentive to keep playing.
- Easy to Learn, Hard to Master: The game's mechanics are straightforward, making it accessible to new players. However, mastering the game requires practice and skill, offering a satisfying challenge for those who enjoy honing their abilities and beating high scores.
- Mobile Convenience: As a mobile game, Rider can be played anywhere and anytime, making it an excellent choice for quick entertainment during commutes, breaks, or moments of downtime. Its pick-up-and-play nature allows for short bursts of fun without the need for a long-term time commitment.
-
Cons
- Monetization Strategy: Like many free mobile games, Rider Worlds may include in-app advertisements and microtransactions. Users may find the frequency of ads disruptive to their gameplay experience, and some might feel pressured to make in-app purchases to progress or unlock additional features.
- Repetitive Gameplay: While Rider Worlds offers a fun and engaging experience, some players might find the gameplay to become repetitive over time. The core mechanics, while addictive, may not offer enough variety for some users who are looking for a more diverse gaming experience.
- Difficulty Curve: The game may have a steep learning curve or difficulty spikes that can be frustrating for casual gamers or those who prefer a more relaxed gaming experience. Some players might find it challenging to master the controls or progress through levels, leading to a potentially less enjoyable experience.
- Limited Features or Updates: Depending on the current state of the game and the frequency of updates from Ketchapp, users might find that the game lacks depth in terms of features, levels, or customization options. If the game does not receive regular updates with new content, players may lose interest over time.
Great sequel to great game
Rider Worlds is an amazing sequel, adding much needed content, while keeping the same, original gameplay of the first game. I was skeptical of a sequel for Rider, but now after playing Rider Worlds and working through the ranks, I am more than impressed by what this (now) series has become. I look forward to seeing future updates and added content to this game. (P.S. - Please add the “Jigawatt” vehicle from Rider into Rider Worlds! I loved this vehicle before, and would love it even more if I could customize and upgrade the appearance of the vehicle. Thanks!)
Love the game, some suggestions
Hi Ketchapp. I love the game and was excited to try out the new sequel. The game mechanics are smooth, love the exclusive car, and of course, the 3D graphics.
Though I love this game, I kind of hate one part. I was playing the game for some time, and I realized that the cars do flips faster than it was in Rider. I was so accustomed to the original physics that I die a lot of times due to over flipping. It would be very great if the old physics were put into this game so even though it looks beautiful, original players would not encounter my problem.
Thanks,
Your supporter
Good game, terrible update
This is honestly such a great game. I got it when it first came out, so I’m an og. I like this game, and the original rider. Buuuuuut this update stinks. Bad. I like the idea of events, but leaving the pay the same and cutting rewards… ooh, that’s upsetting. And there were no bugs fixed. Also cutting off the ranks, that makes me mad. I enjoyed leveling/ranking up and getting to lvl 76 was a fun goal of mine. Without this terrible update, I would have given 5 stars, but with it, you get a 3 (bc I can’t do 2 and a half). I would like this update to be fixed, with everything I have mentioned, plus add the gems in the actual game back.
Some Issues
The game looks very good and controls great. Issues I’ve seen are the lag and that at least two quests that specified ‘2 runs in a row’ aren’t working properly. One of them required I think 10 triple flips and it completed the quest after one triple flip. The second one is 4 quadruple flips that has the quest half completed even after I failed the second run.
If there was a bug report section in app I’d be able to send more that I find there instead of clogging up the reviews. Speaking of bugs, the Dark Rider bike had an issue where it crashed twice when it shouldn’t have been possible to crash. I had hit a speed boost into a tight turn on world 2.
Great potential ruined by greed
This game is incredibly fun and the developers did an incredible job, and should be commended. However, the game is borderline unplayable in its current state for one major reason: the banner ad at the bottom
I genuinely don’t mind the forced ads, I opt to watch ads for additional rewards whenever available, and honestly, this banner ad doesn’t bother me at all while I’m playing the game. HOWEVER, every time the banner ad switches to a new ad, the game fully freezes for about half a second to a full second, which is enough to end just about any run you’re attempting. This makes getting high scores and completing challenges that require you to do good in one continuous run basically impossible.
If you were going to be greedy enough to put a constant ad on screen while I’m playing, at least don’t make that ad actively impact the playability of the game.
Great game
I’ve been playing for a week, and I’ll start off with the most critical part of the review; Worlds is easier than base Rider. If you can easily pass every Rider level, this game most likely isn’t going to replace it, since it is fundamentally easier, however I believe that can actually be interpreted as a good thing since a large majority of Worlds’ ease come from the overall lack of glitches, the game is extremely polished from my experience, there were a few levels were the objectives weren’t as clear as I’d hope, but they aren’t impossible to understand. In base Rider I had several occasions when I’d fly off the screen or end up in situations where it seemed out of my control. Worlds doesn’t have nearly as bad of a problem. Also the ease makes it a much nicer pick up and play. I have already beaten my high score from the original after about a week. The level designs allow for more tricks, and even allow a 6 loop flip quite early without glitches, which I am unsure is possible in the original game.
Overall, base Rider is harder, but Worlds gave me a more fun experience.
Beautiful sequal
I have been playing the original rider for at least 5 years and it still is a fantastic game. So when I had heard they were making a sequal I got super excited, however I was also skeptical. Many many games get elaborate fancy sequals that end up making the game overcomplicated and hard to follow. Some developers think they need to step up the game to a whole new level and add many new features to the game. I Believe this is too much. And Rider Worlds solves this perfectly.
It is effectivly the same game but far better, which is what a sequal should be. The 3d animation and transition into a 2d game is stunning. The new car designs and level up system are perfect. It solves the original games problem of sorta capping out pretty fast considering it's played alot. Also keeping the original music and sounds effects is genius. This is a game that I think will satisfy new players and old time fans.
A few other things I love about this game.
1. Adding trails, landing, and death animations is epic.
2. awesome choice to change the single color blocks that destroy you into red spikes that have alot of movement and feel scary.
3. Minor thing. When you get cards for skins and animations they auto upgrade. It's so annoying to have to go in and spend credits to upgrade them.
4. The entire U.I is beautiful. Still simple like original and still gives the neon tech feeling.
Very good sequel to a classic game
I didn’t know what to expect coming into this, I was a bit skeptical that ruder worlds wouldn’t live up the hype of its first success. But I think it’s safe to say I was wrong
This game adds many fun new features, yet still doesn’t feel cluttered, and still feels like good’ol rider. Thea different worlds keep the game exciting. And I like customizing my car like it’s rocket leave or something.
It is a little laggy for me. However I am playing on an iPhone 8 and I’m sure it would be less laggy on a newer phone
I really enjoy this game and think it’s a great sequel the rider.
64 more stars?!?!
Soo, great game… so good in fact that I completely finished every single quest and was disappointed to find that I didn’t have every upgrade maxed out. I only had a few legendary upgrades for each category. Even though I have almost definitely watched every ad to add extra “shards” for the upgrades and for doubling the red gem currency, I came 64 stars short from the max level. This is a big bummer because it means the best choice for me now is to get the white crystals from the BONUS every day, and I assume it will probably take at least another year or so.
My plea for the creators is this, give us more quests that are unlockable after the beginning 150 that are solely for the purpose of upgrading the vehicles and so forth.
I know this probably isn’t what you want to see from a review so I will try to end it on a happier note. Great game with amazing graphics and different worlds that unlock new features into the game. Thanks again for the consideration.
New worlds?
I love the game and have been enjoying it for a while, I’ve had the game at max 2 months and reached the 3rd world as of right now my high score is 127 on Gravity World and even tho the games pretty fresh still, my question remains, when will we get the next world or more then just world 4. I love the game but I can’t keep playing the same old 3 worlds and expect to have fun it gets boring after a while constantly switching between just 3 worlds to complete quests. So when will the next ones release
A great sequel to a great game
While i’m not a huge fan of mobile games, Rider (the old one) is still one of my favorite ones. It’s everything a mobile game should be: simple and easy to play for just a minute or two, but still unique and challenging enough to keep you interested.
This game improves on many aspects of its predecessor in terms of graphics, cosmetics, and map designs. However, it does feel a bit cluttered for my liking, and it’s somewhat difficult to do consecutive attempts without being interrupted by leveling up or getting notifications in the store tab.
In terms of performance, it lags just enough to be annoying, but i’m using an iphone SE so i’d expect it to run great on any newer phone. For now i enjoy the original Rider more, but when online is added i'm sure i’ll come back to this.
Inconsistent
Speed is inconsistent, which makes some jumps impossible to make some times, the speed boost sometimes give adequate speed but not always, it seems at tike the game chooses when you live or die based on when it decided to give you speed or not, also the perfect landing is also inconsistent as well as sometime i get point for making a jump when i did not jump, i.e when im on the magnet road upside down. Speaking of magnets sometimes the magnets pull you and sometimes they dont, their range is inconsistent
BANNER ADS
Ok look, I get the pop up ads, and if there isn’t one after every time I die I’m fine with it. (You guys do a good job with that.) But, the BANNER ADS. Those things are so annoying they change every 5 seconds when you play, making the fps drop to like 5. I tried ignoring it and just kept going, but it’s impossible. It makes the game almost unplayable. I stopped playing another game that used pop up ads, because it became super laggy 24/7 and it irritated me. I’m not spending money just to get rid of these.
Audio bugs
After playing the game I experienced a few bugs with the audio. I noticed that some Banner ads would mute the entire game audio after 1 minute of gameplay. When I play offline there is no audio issues. When I am connected to a Bluetooth device, the issue still occurs while online.
One of the traps sounds lingers after you crash.
The trap that sounds like a machine slowly dropping down on you with red spikes as you drive narrowly to escape.
Im playing on an iPhone 14 pro max. With notifications turned on for game audio.
Overall the game is great and I love it. I wanted to bring these issues out into the open so they can get patched.
Long awaited is right! And did not let us down!
I have been playing the first one since it came out. Always loved killing time with the original. Always downloaded to any new phone I got android or apple. I didn’t think this one was going to be much better and just going to be a copy. Well all the flaws of the first one have been smoothed out and way better in this. I hated touchy or inconsistent the rotations could get. But not in this one. Man is it satisfying to land the perfect flip or just gliding through the loops and twists and turns flips and all.
But there’s more! New worlds with each little added features it’s great. As you advance and get new worlds it’s fun but they don’t keep you there to compete challenges you can go back to others if it’s easier to get certain missions done. Ads can get annoying but it didn’t take me long to toss a couple bucks to the developers to be ad free and only watch them if I want to get more rewards. Cheers to the developers on a great game and excellent sequel.
Great sequel!
Quick review:
-really satisfying to play
-visuals are really cool
-more stuff to do/unlock (obstacles, worlds, cosmetics for different aspects of the bike)
-not too many ads compared to other games
-easy to learn and play right off the bat
-the better/more you play the more cool flips and tricks you can do!
Longer review:
I played the first rider all the time when I was bored because it was a cool looking game that felt really satisfying to play! I enjoyed unlocking all the bikes and learning to land perfectly almost every time. It’s one of the few games I have that I’ve never deleted because I just enjoy having it around to play! I was really looking forward to this sequel and I love how much better the game has gotten! Everything feels SUPER satisfying now with all the new trails and landings and bikes you can customize now. I also like the new backgrounds too! Even though the background wasn’t integral to the first game, I like seeing all the cool mechanical structures move around as I pass by them (also the 3d aspect to the game is really cool looking too!). The bike designs themselves are a huge upgrade too, especially now that there are different tiers of bikes and trails and landings to unlock. That’s another thing I like with this game above the last one: there’s more stuff to do! I still like the og rider, but there’s not much to do after a little bit of playing. Other than getting far enough to encounter new obstacles or getting new bikes, there’s not much incentive to the game. In this new one, there’s SO MUCH MORE! There’s not only bikes but there’s trails and death explosions you can unlock and you can unlock different tiers of them to make them look SUPER COOL. The obstacles themselves are so much more intricate and fun to play too, especially with the new dynamics of a magnetic world and a gravity world! Everything is really fun and really satisfying and I would really recommend it! I still like the simplicity in the first rider but I’m enjoying this one a lot more. I know this is a lot to read but I really enjoy this game and I’m really happy the creators made it!
Excellent game with minor issues
As a returning player from the original Rider game, to call this game’s successor an improvement over the original would be an understatement. It retains the elegant and easy to learn gameplay of Rider - you can play with just one thumb - while drastically improving the replayability by adding new worlds with unique gameplay mechanics and bringing the artwork and visuals of the game to a higher level while retaining the original neon, Tron-like style. There are countless options for customization of your vehicle of choice, far more than there were in the original, and all of these can be unlocked at a relatively steady pace by completing challenges, with the added option to level up specifically desired cosmetics that are featured in the shop (though this is randomly selected with 6 options each day). The ad count is not very high for those that are free to play, and the small price to remove them entirely I have found to be well worth it in the long run. In spite of its very recent release Rider Worlds has proven to a deceptively entertaining game that stands out among the crowd of other games in a similar vein. The most recent update added a much needed additional mode of play to the game, where you can compete with other players to achieve the highest score in a single run for rewards, as well as adding 200 additional challenges to the original 150, giving those that have already unlocked much of the game’s current content a reason to continue playing, and it would seem there is plenty more content to come in the future. However, there are a couple changes in the newest update that have detracted from the overall experience, the first being the change to the economy, primarily the amount of rubies that can be earned for free by playing the game, which are used for unlocking specific cosmetics shown at random in the shop daily or continuing your run after losing. While you can still get 45 rubies daily through watching ads, I have noticed that the quantity of rubies that can be earned through chests have been drastically reduced, by as much as 80% from my testing. Originally, I have been able to get a maximum of 20 rubies in a chest without needing to watch any ads for additional chest rewards. Now, however, I have seen that reduced to a paltry 5 rubies at most per chest. Furthermore, the minimum 5 rubies you could get has fallen to but a singular ruby. Considering the fact that the “cards” for cosmetics in shop are priced at 15 gems each, with a total of 28 cards needed to upgrade each of the many, many cosmetics (totaling to a whopping 420 gems assuming you buy all 28 cards through the shop), this change drastically reduces the ability for new and current players alike to prioritize upgrading the cosmetics that they want most through the shop. I understand if the intent of this change was to increase the amount of time it took to fully upgrade all cosmetics in the games, but it feels drastic and overcompensating for the otherwise relative ease of earning cards to upgrade cosmetics through chests (which is completely random as compared to the shop). In addition to this, a very confusing change was made in the newest update in the form of decreasing the maximum level obtainable from 76 to 51, as far as I could tell (I was level 66 by the time of the update and can no longer view the levels I earned in the progression system above 51). This seems counterproductive for the long term progression of the game, and especially contradictory to the addition of 200 new challenges in the same update - which are used to level up in the first place. This isn’t too much of an issue, as all cosmetics are available to be unlocked at level 31. However, this means there are less levels to earn, and thus less total rewards you can earn as a result, further compounding the economy change made with this most recent update. Overall this change doesn’t strike me as being very sensible. Lastly I have noticed in the main gameplay that the amount of gems - the primary currency collected by playing the game and used for opening chests - has been somewhat reduced. Before the update, any segment of a world that had gems to collect always spawned these gems 100% of the time. However, I have noticed that on occasion areas where gems had previously showed up every time don’t spawn at all. While this change is very minor, it doesn’t really benefit the player in any sense and makes the gameplay feel somewhat less rewarding to have potentially less gems to collect in each run. The bonus gems that can be earned periodically has also been reduced from 400 to 250. While these changes are less than desirable for the player I can understand the desire to extend the time needed playing the game to upgrade the current number of cosmetics in the game; it just feels a bit too significant of a change in some regards. Thankfully, none of these changes have impacted the gameplay itself, with the exception of some gems not showing up while playing in certain world segments. As a whole, Rider Worlds continues to show great promise as an up-and-coming mobile game with plenty of room for further growth and improvement. I am interested to see what content will be released in the future, including new worlds, cosmetics and possibly gamemodes, and I highly praise the game for the simple but challenging fun it provides, especially considering it was put on the App Store so recently. It is definitely a game I would recommend anyone to try, as it only takes a few minutes to learn the gist of but takes much, much longer master, and longer still to discover and conquer the many unique obstacles Rider Worlds has to offer.
Rider Worlds Complaints 10
Too many ads, can’t enjoy the game
It seems like every 20 seconds there’s another ad. Ads for gems, ads for lives, ads to retrieve the power up you purchased with gems from the ads. And additional ads just for fun after you die a couple times in the game.
Not to mention the ads themselves are insufferable. 30 seconds of ad, followed by an “x” that you click and takes you to the Apps page to download, so you click out of that, and it gives you another 8 second ad freeze frame to wait though before hitting another “x”.
Terrible performance issues
So like many other people I have loved playing the original rider for years and was super hyped when I heard a sequel came out. It’s a fun game, I do like the the updated quests along with all the customization of your vehicle, but the insane lag spikes make it unplayable. Almost every time I am about to land from a flip I will get a huge lag spike and my whole game freezes up, when it unfreezes I’m already dead. This has happened countless times and it makes doing the quests impossible. I am playing on a pretty low end device but still I have never had this problem on any other mobile game even it has very high graphics. I assume why it happens is the game is loading in obstacles as you are going through them and every time it loads up one I get a big lag spike. It’s especially bad on the gravity world I assume because those obstacles are very complicated. The game also has lots of other bugs and issues like when I watch an ad and it just doesn’t count, and then when I try to watch another it says I have no internet connection even though I have full bars. Along with how slowing down practically breaks the game, if you aren’t going full speed on one of the launcher things you will go backwards in the air for some reason so you can get a solid 40/50 score from one before the game realizes your cheating and you have to keep going. Anyway I understand this game is still in beta but please fix the terrible lag spikes that make it unplayable.
Way worse than I thought
Had the original game for about a year and I was so excited about this one, but when I got it, it just sucked it doesn’t fell the same as the other game every time I die I have to go through all of these level up things but I just want to play when I’m bored and is so bright on my screen it’s blinding me I wish they just added more stuff to the original, if you’re thinking about getting this game get the older one

Cool idea
I like the idea and kinda enjoy it… if… the backflip and acceleration wasn’t the same button. Too many times I crash all because I was holding the acceleration too long and got just a little air and it backflipped and crashed. Maybe make the two functions separate?
Great sequel, needs work
Restore purchases button doesn’t work, constant ads are annoying me despite the fact I already paid my share.. There are also performance issues. It’s not even fun to play if there’s a 1/200 chance you lag during and mistime your flips. Other than that love the new features and artwork
Please fix update
I loved this game and it ran great but since the update it’s very laggy. I’m on a new iPhone 14 pro max, and the internet is good but that shouldn’t be an issue either way. It’s a poorly optimized update yet the update says “optimizations”. Lol please fix your game so I can fix my rating.
Why did you lower the Ruby gain
I’ve been trying to complete the game through playing alone and this was feasible when each crate would give 5 rubies per duplicate item. But now that it’s only 1 Ruby per duplicate item, it’s basically impossible and disincentives me from playing the game. Until it’s changed back I’m done with the game
Stupid not working and please get back to me!
This game is so laggy why was the first game fine but this game is even worse I can’t play this! Every time I watch an add I can’t get out of the add and when I try to do flips it almost freezes and then I die or it does flips when my finger is off the screen I love this game and I want to keep loving it but rite now I can’t because it’s not playable if I could I’d give this a 0
The game freezes
Hello rider world developers. I have one comment to the game: when I turned on the Internet once and played this game, after turning off the Internet, the game began to freeze for 1 second every time I play, when I don't play there are no freezes. I decided to unload this game, but game freezes anyway. Due to the fact that the game freezes, I can't play your game properly. Please developers fix it
Simplified to the point of unintelligence
The developers of rider have fallen prey to the trend that has popped up recently in many video games, that being loot boxes and a battle pass-esque ranking system. The beauty of the original game is its simplicity, and feeling the weight to your flips. This sequel feels like a toddler’s game compared to the original. You don’t really feel like you’re flipping, but in the original, it has a sort of weight to it. So I’m sorry, but I’ll be sticking to the original Rider.
