Rightway Automotive Credit I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased my 2010 Nissan Ultima on Feb

I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased my 2010 Nissan Ultima on Feb. 12, 2022 at the Rightway Automotive Credit lot, because I would not be in the situation that I am currently in. Right from the start I noticed that the mileage on the odometer did not match what my contract and registration was saying. Papers say 50,000 miles odometer said 70,000 miles. Right away I went in there and told the salesperson that there was a mistake and it needs fixed, even wrote the mileage on my 1st temp tag registration and gave it to him. He assured me he would take care of it, had to get a 2nd temp tag because he said the problem was with the finance department, I asked about the mileage again, I am told it will be fixed. On 5-12-22, I had to go there for my memorandum title and asked again about the mileage, the salesperson tells me it's okay, I ask well my free oil change coupons don't match up, he takes them all and gives them back to me and says you're fine. The car had a couple noises but drove fine until the first week of August. I had the car towed to Fairfield Rightway repair shop who does their warranty work and such. I get a phone call from the repair shop and lo and behold the repairs to fix the car are going to cost $8,000 to replace the transmission and torque converter and a couple other things. Mind you I have the EXTENDED powertrain warranty that is 2 yrs/20,000 miles but because the mileage was misrepresented the repair shop cannot do anything. My car has been at that repair shop since 8-4-22, I am paying on a car that is not drivable, instead of fixing their wrong, they try and get me to purchase another piece of junk from their lot, increase my payment up another $200 and with a different finance company and let my original loan just sit. I have lost all my side cleaning jobs because of all this plus out of a 5-day work week I miss 2 days each week from no way to get there. I have contacted the regional manager over all this and he is just as bad. I have ALL the correspondence with anyone at Rightway.

If there was a button for NEGATIVE stars I would have selected that because even giving this place a ONE star review is TOO GOOD for them! We went in to purchase a vehicle and we gave them $600.00 CASH and drove in our truck with CLEAN TITLE on hand for a trade-in on a Dodge Caravan. Long story short, *** who is a complete unprofessional sales person and is extremely incompetent at her job, was rude when we were told after over 30 days of having the van and paying on the van weekly, that we had to return it. We were then told that it would take a few days for the bank to give us the $600.00 back and that we were supposed to just leave there with no vehicle, no truck and title and no money. This place created an undue hardship on us by calling us over 30 days later on a Monday demanding the van be returned. They claim all these processes that get in the way of a smooth transaction are not of their own doing. This place should not be in business.

They sold me a lemon! They assured me that they use auto check and that the car had only been in a minor accident with the airbags remaining intact. I gathered all my documents and presented them to my bank, where they conducted a Carfax report on the car. To my dismay, the Carfax revealed that the vehicle was deemed a total loss, and consequently, my bank was unable to proceed with any transactions involving the vehicle due to its status.

I approached Rightway with the Carfax report, hoping to negotiate an exchange, but they dismissed my concerns, stating there was nothing they could do and that I was bound to the car. After meticulously comparing both reports multiple times, I discovered a glaring omission: there was no clear indication that Rightway had the legal authority to sell the car in the first place, as the title was issued to an individual and there was no further information provided.

Feeling utterly deceived, I realized I had made a substantial down payment and also traded in my truck, which was valued at an additional amount, all for the sake of acquiring this car, only to end up in this unfortunate predicament.

Was in need of a reliable car after my car accident in 2018. Was seeking a Malibu or an Impala. I was told I wasn't leaving without a car. I visited the Rightway on National Rd. Spent 5 hours there for them to sell me an overpriced lemon. I know nothing about cars. The car's transmission light was on and the guy told me that it could be fixed. Mind you, I had just purchased the car and it needed to be fixed already. He told me they had a machinist out in the area that could fix the problem we were having. I gave them a down payment from my settlement money for this problematic Malibu. When I drove it off the lot onto the highway, the car wouldn't go over 40 mph. I almost got hit by two semi-trucks trying to push the gas and when I called and asked for my money back, the manager was real rude and arrogant, laughed about the situation, and told me that he would give me my money back in the form of a check. I haven't heard anything since. I've emailed, called, I even had my lawyer send certified mail to his office and still no reply. From him or anybody.

Rightway Automative in Tallmadge! Sold a LEMON! I've had my car less than a year and it has been in the shop 6 times! Everything from transmission, water pump and hoses bursting while driving! I have a warranty so all repairs were covered with a $100 deductible out of pocket each time! After the 5th time I was stranded due my car breaking down I called right way and they were helpful - one time! Now my transmission is out once again and there is NOTHING they can do! They can't switch me to a better car they can't rent me a car or pay for my deductible! I have to suck it up! 6x! Six times in 9 months! I wouldn't recommend anyone going there for a car!

Rightway Automotive Credit I can't say if I would give you any stars??

I can't say if I would give you any stars? I can't even count how many messages I received from Mica, employee name, or another employee name. I sat with employee name*** on April 4, getting all bank statements, nope not good, they need W-2. I'm guessing that once you buy a car from them, that's it, no thank you, no nothing. So no, I would not send you there!

Rightway Automotive Credit I needed a new thermostat before I even made my first payment

I needed a new thermostat before I even made my first payment. It was the third time my check engine came on within 30 days. Had my car towed to their shop and they lost my key. Took 4 days to fix a thermostat because they wanted to fight the tow company when my key was in their drop box the entire time. They also refused a rental car so I went without working and still made me pay the $100 deductible all before I even got the title...

Rightway Automotive Credit I was to cosign for my son so that he could build up his credit

I was to cosign for my son so that he could build up his credit. Instead, they made me the buyer and him the cosigner. We specifically told the representative not to do that before we signed. The bill arrived today in my name. i have my own vehicle. They lied and said that it did not matter and refused to change it. Called the creditor ALLy and they said that the dealer had to change that status because they submitted it as I am the buyer, not him Not my son. It has not even been 30 days.

Rightway Automotive Credit They sold me a defective vehicle!

They sold me a defective vehicle! They assured me that they use auto check and that the car was involved in a minor accident but the air bags did not deploy. I took all my documents to my bank and they ran a carfax report on the car. Unfortunately, the carfax report revealed that the vehicle was declared a total loss, and as a result, my bank cannot proceed with any financing options. I presented the carfax report to Rightway Automotive Credit in hopes of finding a solution, but they informed me that they are unable to assist and I am stuck with this car. Upon reviewing both reports multiple times, it is evident that Rightway Automotive Credit may not have had the legal right to sell the car, as the title was issued to *** and there is no further information available. I made a significant down payment of *** dollars and even traded in my truck for an additional 500 dollars towards the car, only to be deceived and taken advantage of.

Rightway Automotive Credit I don't know where to start

I don't know where to start.. This company needs to be shut down. I came in to get a car loan, ended up trading a car in that was worth more than what I got. It just didn't have any mechanical issues lol. Looking back it was like they set people up for failure. Knowing that people come in don't really make a lot of money. They set you up with an outrageous monthly fee for a car that's only worth 10 grand. After close to 2yrs of having it mostly paid off, I got into an accident ( different car). I couldn't work and had to surrender my vehicle back to them. After a few years I check my credit report and see that I'm being charged for the full amount of the car still. Even though I paid on it for over a year already. I refuse to pay them a dime considering they got the car back in n mint condition and some money already. WTF!

Rightway Automotive Credit It's been sitting heavy on me for days

It's been sitting heavy on me for days. I went to buy a car initially for a down payment at the beginning on October. I was given the complete run around for a whole week because he kept trying to sell me a car I did NOT want. He called me at my job once to get me to come in for a car and when I got there he told me he didn't have anything. He randomly texted me about covid and then asked again to come in for a car. I have been feeling a bit scammed for days. When I came back in the last time, I got a car. I was originally asked how much could I place down for it... thinking I couldn't go any lower, I stated a specific amount again. He eventually came back and told me that he did me a “favor" and brought it down $900 for pulling strings, but my paperwork CLEARLY stated only $700 down for my specific Fiesta. He tried to hurry and talk so then I called my mother and explained that I believe he was asking me for an extra $200 dollars for himself. When my mother and I really questioned it... it brought me outside and told us that he “deleted my inquiries" off of my report but still to this day, I have all of my inquiries for money. I didn't know salesman was supposed to hound you to give them money on the side or cash app them anything extra other than the $700 the paper originally said. They didn't even clean my car like they were supposed to and my right mirror is still just hanging, I get I have a warranty but fixing my mirror before I pulled off would have been ideal. I felt I was a woman and my salesman tried to scam me.

Rightway Automotive Credit If I could give 0 stars, I would

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I got my car, I had to renew my Temp. plate because they didn't have the title by the time the first one was expired. After 7 months, I still don't have my refund for buying my own new one. After 2 month of having the vehicle the AC/Heat stopped working. I went to the dealership where they told me to get it diagnosed and I'll have to pay $100 under the warranty to fix the problem. I drive 45 minutes to the repair shop where they said I'd have to leave the car there. Remind you, I'm almost an hour away from home and they tell me I have to find a ride back. On top of that, they say it'll be a $75 fee for looking at it. I called Right Way and asked if the $75 comes from the $100 I'll have to pay to get it fixed and they say no. So I'd end up paying $175 for fixing a problem that was already there when I got the car. Couple months down the road my car completely stops working. I go get a new thermostat because I knew that was one thing wrong with it but turns out it's a transmission issue. They made the warranty so short so that they didn't have to pay the larger amount to fix the transmission. So now I'm stuck with a $5,000 left payment on a car I can't drive because I have other bills to pay and have to arrange transportation to and from work when I'm paying a loan on a car that I can't even drive. The people here just stick you in any car just to make a sale. They act like they care when they do not. I will never go here again for a car. It's outrageous that they can sleep knowing that they are messing people over with selling them a car that'll last through the warranty but as soon as the warranty is up, the car is done for. I am leaving this complaint to inform others not to trust the people or buy a car from the people at Right away auto. If it's your only option then PLEASE bring a mechanic with you. This is not worth the money I'm paying on the car. I don't have any belief that the company will reach out to try to resolve the problem because it'll just cost them more money in the end.

Rightway Automotive Credit We are financing a car and after 7 days of buying the car broke down

We are financing a car and after 7 days of buying the car broke down. We were well aware of the limited warranty but wanted to at least inform the dealership of the problem. The warranty was 15 days or 500 miles over and would not be covered. Johnny the mechanic supervisor said to get it towed and that they would take care of it even though I asked them and confirmed that they were aware that it was 200 miles over the 500 mile warranty and they still said to bring it in. I even called a second time to double check. Manny the manager was the one who gave me a hard time telling me that they were not going to pay for towing or even fix the car after purchasing the parts. My son went in to talk to them about picking up the car they told him is he did not get it out they were going to send to the towing yard and it would be charged. He went back in and talked to another employee Dennis Lee that was actually reasonable. He said he would pay half of the towing and give him a 200.00$ referral check. So instead of the alternator replacement being 400.00 it would be 200.00. So even though we were told it would be taken care of we sill had to pay but at least were somewhat satisfied since we were the ones who did not want the extended warranty. Which Manny reminded me over and over but who would of thought you would need one in 7 days of buying a car that had CAR FAX approved. I am 72 years old helping my 17 year old grandson with signing for the car and Manny was so mean about this entire issue. All they had to say was it is not covered and yes take it to your own mechanic like I suggested in case it would of not been covered. I understood about not getting the extended warranty. My grandson broke down for the second time the day after. We called the dealership. They said to take it in they would take care of it. That maybe it was a faulty alternator. They replaced it free of charge, but still charged us for the towing. This was on 11/12 it is 11/20 and the car is broken again. It did the exact same thing. We are going to have to take it to another mechanic because we are now afraid to even deal with these people. My grandsons first experience of having a car payment and he does not even have a car to drive. On top of everything, when we bought the car we set up his automatic payments that day with Manny and picked out a license plate... to then get a call from the finance department to say he did not make a payment. I was floored. She said there was absolutely no paper work of the automatic payment set up and then asked about the license plate. When that was written down as well. We then had to fill out the exact same paper work all over again. We asked Manny what happened to all t he information. Why was it even asked for if it was not going to get applied. He said that was financing. So the supervisor of Sales Johnny specifically told me that I would not be charged I guess does not communicate with the manager , the manager does not communicate with financing and we are paying 12,000 for a car that is still not running and 400.00 cost to them for not repairing along with towing cost and now send to another mechanic and who knows now how much that is going to cost. I just don't know morally how people can not just be right.

I purchased my car in October and was informed about the referral program. My friend, in need of a new car, visited the same dealership where I made my purchase to acquire his new vehicle in February. He made it clear to his salesman that he was referred by me and was informed that they would need to verify my purchase at that location, which could take up to a month. After that, I was supposed to receive $100.00. He took possession of his car on February 18th, and since then, I have reached out to my salesman, who assured me he would investigate the matter and get back to me. Unfortunately, he has not returned my call. As of now, I have not received any referral bonus. If Rightway promotes earning money through referrals, or offers compensation for failing to secure a car for a customer, and then does not follow through, that constitutes false advertising in my eyes.

I purchased a vehicle with $1000 down payment and my first payment was not due until April 10,2020. Right way auto came to pick up my vehicle on April 3,2020 without any explanation. I went there and was told that I didn't live at the address that was on my paper work. And that's the address that they came to get the vehicle. They then begin to say my check stub was wrong and my other paperwork such as my son ssi check statement was wrong. Basically making up excuses to take my vehicle. I then began for my down payment back in which was told they would calculate the miles that was driven and send me my refund? First and foremost I know that you have to verify all information including job ,house etc before you can drive off the lot of any dealership? They are false advertising and taking people money and just making up excuses to get people to come up there and take they money. I need all my money back so I can put a down payment on a vehicle and they should not be able. to keep any money. if this is not resolve I will contact a lawyer

My fiance and I purchased a vehicle from Rightway on February 27. We signed lots of paperwork and gave the salesman all of our employer information and income to verify. Once approved, we made a down payment of 1200 dollars and took ownership of a used 2011 Kia Sorento. We also obtained insurance through Geico to drive the SUV off the lot. My fiance provided them with his banking account information to set up recurring debits for his car payment.

We received texts from the salesman to send in more information regarding paycheck stubs, which we complied with and emailed back. He called and inquired about my fiance's employment status in light of the recent pandemic, and at that time, he was still employed. However, when it came time to debit his payment, nothing was taken out. My fiance called and asked why, and Rightway said that would be the finance company's responsibility. He called them and left numerous messages, but no one ever returned his calls.

After two more weeks, he called again to make payments and inquire about the situation. The sales consultant, whose last name was uncertain, mentioned that they might be pushing back payments due to COVID-19 and that the finance manager was unavailable due to the virus. On April 20, my fiance and I called Rightway to speak to a manager and demanded an explanation. We spoke to the manager, who assured us he would call the finance company and get back to us. He did call back and suggested that we bring the payments to him, and they would forward them to the finance company because it showed that my fiance was behind on payments.

We agreed but also said that we would confirm this with a call to Gateway Finance and asked for a direct number because we never got through to anyone directly. Upon calling the finance company, they told us they had no paperwork and knew nothing about my fiance and a 2011 Kia Sorento. The manager did not answer the phone anymore that day.

We woke up on Tuesday morning, April 21, to find the Kia missing and no one had any information as to why. My fiance had to cancel three job interviews as a result. I had to leave work early due to this added stress (I am a healthcare worker) and go up to the dealership after being hung up on numerous times by random salespeople claiming to be very busy. Once we arrived, we sat with the manager, who explained that they did not follow the contract. He stated that because my fiance was temporarily unemployed, Gateway denied the application. His temporary unemployment started on April 1st, of which he has been awarded unemployment benefits and has income tax money and savings. Payments were never an issue!

We were never notified of a repossession or even kept abreast of the fact that we were not approved. They were very rude and big liars. They told us they didn't know where the car was for us to retrieve our belongings. I had to threaten to call the police for them to finally say it was out back. I am very disgusted with them. This has been added to our credit reports and also 15 more hard inquiries that they ran our social security numbers through.

We tried to purchase a vehicle in November , they were unable to get us contracted so we returned the vehicle in December. I went to another dealer and financed a vehicle. I am unable to tag and title my new vehicle because Rightway submitted title and paperwork to the state DMV. So now Missouri DMV is demanding I title the Dodge Caravan that we never owned. I can not title my new car until I title the Dodge. Also causing me to have a ticket for expired tags.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and in less than 24 hours it would not start. They had it towed and kept it for days. After me contacting them multiple times they finally returned it to me stating it was fixed. Again, in under 24 hours it would not start. They then returned it to me stating I needed to buy traps for my home because it was "infested with rats and they are eating through all of the wiring". I contacted the bank who the loan is through and they advised me to return the vehicle and keys. Rightway refuses to take the car back or make the purchase right.

Purchase a vehicle through another location in Raytown, MO on 8/11. On 9/4 while driving on the highway the engine blew out. I returned the vehicle to that location the same day. I was told that the damages for the vehicle was covered under warranty and that I would be provided with a loaner vehicle. I signed my contract 2/10 and when it was coming up for my tags to expire I was informed my financing did not go through and we will try to put the vehicle in my spouses name. The sales guy avoided after multiple emails and calls and now I was told to return the vehicle or it will be reported stolen. I was shocked because I thought everything was being worked out. The manager took the key and told me he will be keeping my down payment and charging me for mileage, cleaning and service. I have had the vehicle and paid for an oil change as well as insurance.

I purchased my car in Oct of 2019 and was told about the "referral". My friend John Doe needed a new car and went in to the same dealer, same location I did to get his new car in February. He also mentioned to his salesman that this was a referral and was told they had to check it out to make sure I did in fact purchase my car there and that would take 1 month then I would get $100.00. He received his car on Feb. 18th and I have contacted my salesman, Jane Smith who said he would look into it and call me back. He never returned my call. To date I have not received ANY MONEY either. If Rightway advertises $ for referrals, or $ for not being able to get you in a car then to me that's FALSE ADVERTISING.

Rightway Automotive Credit I purchased a vehicle from RightWay in January

I purchased a vehicle from RightWay in January. Since I purchased the vehicle I have had nothing but problems. I have been in touch with the manager at RightWay and he's been very difficult to deal with. I asked before the time was up for a full refund but was offered for the vehicle to be repaired. The car has had plenty of issues since I purchased it and I have been in constant contact with the manager and he's been rude and not helpful with my situation. For the amount of money that I had to put down and the amount I pay monthly I shouldn't have the problems I am having nor should I be treated the way I've been treated. I have reached out to corporate and have not received a call back. This is truly unacceptable and I am not pleased.

I put 600$ down on a 2009 Chevy Malibu on 7/10, I was told that Rightway Automotive Credit was my creditor. Since then I have received 2 rejection letters from the creditor. I've talked to John, Sarah, Mark and Jessica on SEVERAL occasions and have gotten the run around. They are adamant that this people are my creditor, when they very clearly state they are not. I have also reached out to Rightway Automotive Credit in Michigan to no avail. This past Monday, 11/2 Mike from regional office said everything was cleared. It is not. When I call Rightway Automotive Credit they only tell me "this is a dealership issue" I have also heard "this is a paperwork issue" and from Karen "We dropped the ball on this one" It's been nearly 4 months and I officially can't insure the car, since it has no connections to me. I've emailed branch manager Steve, stating I want to receive a refund and be done with this situation. I am not getting any response.

Rightway Automotive Credit I had purchased a car with this location

I had purchased a car with this location. At the time of the purchase they were aware of the fact I was off from my full-time job due to the pandemic and am on unemployment. I have made every purchase early or on time. Except for my last payment that was due August 13th, I was 4 days late and my financial agreement allowed 10 days before even receiving a late fee. They repossessed my car on August 18th at 2 am. I was polite because I understood there was nothing the tow truck driver could do. I called the location the next morning to be yelled at and treated as if I was less than because I was still on employment (due to the pandemic still) and told to go get a job to get it back. I explained that I have made all of my payments and that it shouldn't matter if I'm back at work because I'm still making my payments. He stated he wanted me on a job and then turned it to that I was "way late" on my payments which was not true. The two people that I came in contact with that were unprofessional and stole my car from me are [Person A] and [Person B]. They are refusing to give me my money back and stated they won't deal with me anymore, they threw my belongings away and are re-selling the car. I put $3,000 down on the car and have made about $1,400 in payments = $4,400 now gone for them to re-sell and do it to the next person.

During the first week of me having the car in my possession, I noticed there was something wrong and rattling inside of the vehicle, which turned out to be a loose screw on the sway bar after being seen by a mechanic. The week after that, a service light came on the dashboard and I took the car to be serviced again. The mechanics called and told me that there was a broken sway bar that needed to be repaired, and they were trying to charge me for the repairs. I called Rightway and told them that I shouldn't have to pay for any repairs since the car had been in the shop multiple times within the first 30 days. The salesman told me that Rightway would pay for the repairs, and I agreed. The vehicle was in the possession of the mechanics for 3 weeks while they and Rightway figured out who would be paying for the repairs. I received a call from the mechanic and they told me the car was fixed and ready to be picked up. I went to the shop and they tried to charge me close to $600 for the repairs. I then talked to people at Rightway and said I no longer wanted the vehicle and I would like a refund. The manager lied and said I caused the damage to the vehicle so that he wouldn't have to give me a refund, and basically stole my money and sold me a lemon. The salesman also told me that the mechanic failed to do the inspection of the vehicle before selling it. I purchased the vehicle with a down payment of $1000 and I want my money back, or I will seek legal action.

On August 28th, my husband and I purchased a 2013 Hyundai Sonata from the Rightway Port Huron location. The vehicle appeared to be in great condition, and during the test drive, we encountered no issues. However, just as we were about to leave after signing the paperwork, the salesman casually mentioned that the car had been involved in a past accident, presenting us with the Carfax report. At the time, I wasn't overly concerned, but in hindsight, I realize this was a significant issue that should have been disclosed before we completed the purchase.

A week into owning the car, I began to hear a clicking noise from the front end, along with a clattering sound that seemed to come from the engine or transmission. I contacted Rightway and spoke to the finance and insurance manager, who suggested it might just need some oil. I checked, and the oil level was fine. Three days later, the rear brakes failed, nearly causing an accident, and I had to have the car towed to my home.

Once again, I reached out to Rightway, and the manager suggested I drive the car to them for inspection. I had a friend tow me there, and the car stayed for two weeks before being transferred to their warranty mechanic at Superior Auto in Port Huron. They claimed to have fixed the issue, but after another day of driving, the brakes failed again. Rightway arranged for the car to be towed back to Superior Auto.

It turned out that during the first repair, only one side of the rear brakes had been addressed. After a proper fix, I drove the car for a few weeks before noticing that it was losing four quarts of oil each week and that the noises from the engine and front end were worsening. I contacted Rightway again, and they advised me to call my warranty coverage to have it towed back to Superior Auto.

The car was at the mechanic for three and a half weeks without any update, so I called the owner of Superior Auto, who informed me they were busy and would get to it when possible. A week later, I was told by Superior Auto that the car had a major oil leak, needed a new engine, and the clattering noise was due to a timing chain on the verge of breaking. They were unable to diagnose the front end noise and asked for a few more days to investigate.

After not hearing back, I reached out again, only to learn that the warranty company had declined the work. When I contacted the warranty company, they claimed Superior Auto had not reached out to them, suggesting someone was being dishonest. My primary grievance is that Rightway sold me a defective car, and Superior Auto is avoiding the truth because, as the manager indicated, they prefer cash and credit card jobs since warranty work pays less and requires them to wait for payment.

Rightway Automotive Credit AUGUST 28TH MY HUSBAND AND I PURCHASED A 2013 HYUNDAI SONATA FROM RIGHTWAY PORT HURON LOCATION

AUGUST 28TH MY HUSBAND AND I PURCHASED A 2013 HYUNDAI SONATA FROM RIGHTWAY PORT HURON LOCATION. THE VEHICLE LOOKED GREAT AND WE TEST DROVE IT AND HAD NO PROBLEMS. ONCE WE SIGNED THE PAPER WORK AND WAS HEADING OUT THE DOOR THE SALESMAN (insert name) SAID OH HERE IS THE CAR FAX REPORT ON THE CAR AND IT WAS INVOLVED IN A CAR ACCIDENT IN THE PAST. OK AT THAT TIME I WAS NOT REALLY UPSET ABOUT IT BUT NOW I CAN TELL THAT THAT WAS A BIG PROBLEM AND THAT THEY SHOULD TELL YOU THAT BEFORE YOU SIGN THE PAPERWORK. A WEEK LATER AFTER WE GOT IT I STARTED HEARING A CLICKING NOISE IN THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE AND ALSO THERE WAS SOME CLATTERING NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION. I CALLED UP TO RIGHTWAY AND SPOKE TO (insert name) THE F&I MAN FIANCE & INSURANCE AND HE SAID IT MIGHT JUST NEED SOME OIL SO I CHECKED IT AND IT WAS FINE. THREE DAYS LATER THE REAR BRAKES ON THE CAR WENT OUT AND I ALMOST HIT SOMEONE, SO I HAD TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED TO MY HOME BECAUSE OF BRAKE FAILURE. SO AGAIN I CALL UP TO RIGHTWAY AND AGAIN TALK TO (insert name) AND HE SAID WELL DRIVE IT HERE AND I WILL SEE IF I CAN HAVE SOMEONE TO LOOK AT IT, SO I HAD A BUDDY PULL ME UP THERE. IT WAS THERE FOR 2 WEEKS AND THEN SOMEHOW IT GOT OVER TO THERE WARRANTY MECHANIC AT SUPERIOR AUTO IN PORT HURON AND THEY SAID THEY FIXED IT SO I WENT AND PICKED IT UP AND DROVE IT FOR A BIT. AFTER GETTING THE CAR BACK I DROVE IT FOR ANOTHER DAY AND THE BRAKES WENT ON THE CAR AGAIN SO I CALLED (insert name) AT RIGHTWAY AGAIN AND HE SAID WELL WE WILL GET IT TOWED FROM YOUR HOME TO THE SUPERIOR AUTO AND GET IT FIXED. FINDING OUT THAT WHEN IT WAS AT SUPERIOR AUTO THE FIRST TIME THEY DID NOT FIX IT RIGHT THEY ONLY DID ONE SIDE AND NOT BOTH SIDES OF THE REAR BRAKES. SO THEN THEY FINALLY FIXED IT AND I GOT IT BACK AND WHEN I GOT IT BACK I DROVE IT FOR LIKE 2 OR 3 WEEKS AND THEN NOTICED THAT THERE WAS 4 QUARTS OF OIL MISSING EACH WEEK AND THAT THE CLATTERING NOISE AND THE FRONT END NOISE WAS GETTING WORSE. I AGAIN CALLED AND EMAIL RIGHTWAY AND THEY EMAILED ME AND TOLD ME TO CALL MY WARRANTY COVERAGE AND HAVE THEM TOW IT TO THE WARRANTY MECHANIC AT SUPERIOR AUTO IN PORT HURON WHICH I DID AND IT WAS TOWED THERE. IT WAS THERE FOR 3 1/2 WEEKS AND I NEVER HERD ANYTHING SO I CALLED AND SPOKE TO THE OWNER (insert name) AND HE SAID THAT THEY ARE VERY BUSY AND THAT THEY WOULD GET TO IT WHEN THEY COULD. A WEEK LATER I CALL (insert name) AT SUPERIOR AUTO AND HE SAYS TO ME IT HAS A MAJOR OIL LEAK AND WILL NEED A NEW ENGINE AND THE CLATTER NOISE IS A TIMING CHAIN THAT IS ABOUT TO BRAKE AND THE FRONT END NOISE IS SOMETHING BUT WE JUST CANT TELL WHAT SO LEAVE IT HERE A COUPLE MORE DAYS AND WE WILL SEE WHAT IT IS AND THEN WE WILL CALL YOU AND THE WARRANTY COMPANY. I NEVER HERD FROM HIM SO I CALLED HIM BACK AND HE SAID THAT THE WARRANTY COMPANY DECLINED THE WORK. SO I CALLED THE WARRANTY COMPANY AND THEY SAID THAT THE MECHANIC GARAGE SUPERIOR AUTO SAID THAT THEY NEVER CALLED SO THEY ARE LYING TO ME. MY REAL COMPLAINT IS THAT RIGHTWAY SOLD ME A LEMON CAR AND THE MECHANIC GARAGE SUPERIOR AUTO IS NOT TELLING ME THE TRUTH BECAUSE THEY DO NOT WANT TO DO THE WORK BECAUSE (insert name) TOLD ME THAT HE WANTS CASH AND CREDIT CARD JOBS AND WARRANTY CARS DON'T PAY WELL AND THEY HAVE TO WAIT FOR PAYMENT.

During the first week of having the car, I noticed a rattling noise inside the vehicle. It turned out to be a loose screw on the sway bar after a mechanic inspected it. The following week, a service light appeared on the dashboard, so I took the car in for service once more. The mechanics informed me that the sway bar was broken and needed repairs, and they attempted to charge me for the costs. I contacted Rightway to argue that I shouldn't have to pay for any repairs since the car had been in the shop multiple times within the first 30 days of purchase. The salesman assured me that Rightway would cover the repair costs, and I agreed to this arrangement.

The vehicle remained with the mechanics for three weeks as they and Rightway discussed who would pay for the repairs. Eventually, the mechanic called to inform me that the car was fixed and ready for pickup. Upon arrival at the shop, they presented me with a bill for nearly $600 for the repairs. I reached out to Rightway to express my desire to return the vehicle and receive a refund. The manager falsely claimed that I had caused the damage to the vehicle to avoid issuing a refund, effectively taking my money and selling me a defective car. The salesman also mentioned that there had been a failure to inspect the vehicle properly before the sale. After making a down payment of $1000, I am now seeking a full refund or I will consider taking legal action.

I had bought a car from this dealership. At the time of the purchase, they knew I was on a break from my full-time job due to the pandemic and was receiving unemployment benefits. I have consistently made every payment early or on time. However, I was four days late on my last payment, which was due on August 13th, but my financial agreement allowed a 10-day grace period before incurring a late fee. Despite this, the dealership repossessed my car on August 18th at 2 AM. I remained polite, understanding that the tow truck driver was not at fault. The following morning, I called the dealership only to be yelled at and belittled for still being on unemployment, with the insinuation that I should find a job to reclaim my car. I pointed out my consistent payment history and argued that my employment status should not be a factor as long as I continued to meet my payment obligations. The representative insisted on my employment and falsely claimed that I was significantly behind on my payments, which was untrue. The two individuals from the dealership who acted unprofessionally and took my car have not been named here for privacy reasons. They have refused to refund my money and stated they will no longer communicate with me. They discarded my personal items and are now attempting to resell the car. I had put down $3,000 and made approximately $1,400 in payments, totaling $4,400, which is now lost as they prepare to resell the car and potentially repeat this process with another customer.
