Cant be trusted with your Money, app crashes (at the perfect time) or the company chooses to play god and freeze your trades from actually taking place, look at the stocks that they froze one 1/28. they are the problem. Oh and try and find a phone number to call. this is a joke. The app lost me $$$ today because of stop purchases and only sell options. They are protecting the large hedge funds and not interested in protecting you the customer.

Options display on balance is wonky
I have a notification and was interested in reading the developers response but there’s no way to find it. No email receipt. And the search filter in the comments doesn't allow us to search by our own comments. Only filters by date, favorable, critical etc…. But normally my own comment is at the top of the list and easily readable. I’m on an iPad gen 6 so maybe that’s why? Not sure. This is an apple problem I think from the App Store. I open my own comment and it doesn’t display the response. I tried manually searching for it and there was a sea of reviews. I couldn’t even sort by 2 stars to make it easy to find mines. The ocean of 1 star complaints from GME made it really hard to find. I’ll try again soon.
NEW REVIEW 2021 I wish that this app didn’t display your options contracts value on your balance. I’ve literally seen a contract go from a penny to .56 cents just because I created a bid on it. The supply and demand chain for bid and ask influences the price of the option SO much that you see your balances sky rocket and plummet then skyrocket again. 100% 200%. It’s unreliable. My question is this. Why can’t we just exclude the options from impacting my regular stock balance chart. It ruins the whole point of seeing your chart timeline. Like why can’t the options have their own asset chart. Why does it share the same pool as the stocks and crypto pool? Especially when option contracts change based on bid and ask. I tested and recorded it myself. All I did was make an open bid and because the stock looked like it was “in demand” the price shot up through the roof even though nobody was actually willing to buy it at that price. So then it effects my regular charting. It actually had a really bad effect on me being able to keep track of my funds. I can no longer tell if I’m up because of stocks or because of some artificial demand on my options. Sure I can “boost” my options by making a demand for it. But why does this make everything so wonky. If you guys need the video to see what I am talking about please let me know. I think that the option money should just be considered its own pool. Otherwise please let us create a second pool or even second account to track this. I am tempted to one or another to a different brokerage account simply for this reason of having 2 separate pools of charting. OLD REVIEW 2018 This app has allowed me to complete my first purchase and sale of a stock. It explains a lot and has really good tutorials to help you along the way. So far, I’m enjoying the app! The app has a really clean interface and everything runs silky smooth. There is a decent amount of information. I do wish there collections had a list that I can choose from so that I can see them all without having to click an individual stock and go from there. There’s an ability to search collections but if you don’t know the exact name of a collection that isn’t so obvious like food or entertainment you may get a little bump in the road.

Cash Management product is so bad
Hi, let me write a detailed review of your cash management product.
First of all, I really appreciated Robinhood in how they pioneered in making stock market trades easy and with no commission. I was expecting that Cash Management product would be something very outstanding too. I'm using it for 2 months and it is a total disaster. It seems like you rolled out the product at a very early stage, you didn't even think about basic banking needs of a population and didn't study how banking works in US. The only good perk about your product (high APY) becoming very useless once you figure out how things actually work. Here are few of the problems that I have noticed so far. I've contacted you about all of those, but it seems like you either say it is how it is or you simply don't reply within 1-3 business day as you claim.
1. Direct deposit. In other banks when funds arrive, they start earning interest same day as they have arrived. In Robinhood you will have to wait till next trading day before they are swept. I got direct deposit on Friday Feb 14th, since Monday Feb 17th was a President's day, funds were swept on Tuesday Feb 15th. That means that I've lost 4 days of interest earning period, which is kinda very annoying. And what you said was it is how it is.
2. Interest accrual works same way as in (1). Once interest was paid, you need to wait till next trading day before it is swept. But that means that reported APY will never be achieved, since interest paid isn't accruing an interest for one day or more.
3. You have no idea how to deal with unrecognized transactions. I had $1 unrecognized transaction which I saw in Robinhood app. What you said was "contact your bank". I have no idea what that means. Is that Sutton Bank, is that one of your partner banks? In other banks you just report it and they take care of it.
4. I was marked as a Pattern Day Trader, and I understand that I won't be able to do Day Trades for 90 days unless my brokerage account balance in 25k or more. And I'm ok with that. But what you did is you just made my swept balance 0 and stopped earning interest on it. That absolutely doesn't make any sense. I had less than 25k in my swept balance, maybe you thought that you will automatically transfer swept balance to brokerage account so that I can do day trades, but still, since I had less than 25k, that approach is pretty much useless. I think you should ask customer whether he/she wants to transfer swept balance to brokerage account.
I'm really fan of Robinhood, and I was ready to use it and send you my reviews, but it seems like you are indifferent about all those issues. Hopefully one day you will fix that. Meanwhile I'll have to transfer all funds to my ordinary bank. That will take a while , since I need to transfer all bill payments and direct deposits too.
If you really want to do something good, please stop accepting new members to your cash management product and fix all serious issues you have there.
Good luck

They basically have my money hostage
They are essentially holding $X amount of my money without giving me any bit of information as to why. To sum in up, my account’s withdrawal is disabled; however, deposits are instantly accepted, which is rather dubious in nature. I’ve contacted customer support – in which they’ve left even more of a suspicious, underhanded impression of robinhood as a whole.
Last week I make some sales, aware of the usual “settlement” period, I check on my funds after a few days. I now have $X under “withdrawable cash.” However; as I attempt to withdraw into my linked bank account, I am met with “Account withdrawal disabled” with no follow up information. This is not my first time withdrawing, previous withdrawals were met with no problems. I waited a few more days to give benefit of the doubt. Withdrawal is still disabled. I then tested a few things. I was prevented from pulling out a small $1. Second, I make a deposit through my bank, and this is where my apprehension comes about, because my deposit was accepted instantly! To summarize that picture, Robinhood is openly taking my money, but refusing to give me the money I had waited for properly. In conjunction, there is absolutely no exchange of information, no “warning” or “Notice” emails sent to me. I am in the dark, they have in essence taken my money and run off with it.
On the sidelines, of course I had contacted customer support. They leave me with another round of suspicious actions that just leave a bad taste in your mouth. I submitted one ticket about my issue, to this day (1 week later) I haven’t even been acknowledged. They did not reply to me, all I wanted at first was acknowledgement, an “I see, that is definitely a problem. We’ll look into it and get back to you!” I then submitted a second ticket over their website. I chose to contact support as a “guest” and leave my account out of it. WITHIN THAT HOUR, I was responded to, they requested my account information and I happily obliged. Again, I have to paint this picture, after days of waiting they still did not reply to my original ticket, and instead they replied to a “random” person with the same issues in one hour!
I was ready to just put it all behind me, and once again, provide benefit of the doubt, but now a few more days have passed. I am somehow NOT surprised they did not reply to me after I gave them my account information. They still haven’t formally acknowledged that this issue exists! After over 25+ failed withdrawal attempts I’m sure a red flag is raised, and the account owner should be contacted of suspicious activity involving the account
I understand if things have to slowdown, If things are impeding movement right now, and I wouldn’t have minded waiting a little longer – if they would just keep the user informed. This could be the only money someone has, and suddenly the user has no way to access the money right in front of him. No one tells him why, and they have no idea how long this is going to be.
This was a long post, but I feel its important to explain to those wondering about this app. I feel ignored and anxiety grows every day. I only wanted to pull out a few hundred, but robinhood as a whole made me regret putting $2000 into that account, because I can’t even touch it if an emergency comes along.

I moved $14,000 from my bank (now part of Truist) on Nov 3, 2021, to my Robinhood account
I moved $14,000 from my bank (now part of Truist) on Nov 3, 2021, to my Robinhood account, and the next day, Robinhood restricted my buying ability. I sent my ID and bank statement to Robinhood support for identity verification. On Nov 5, they emailed about an ACH alert causing the restriction. By Nov 8, Robinhood reported a security breach potentially exposing my email. I kept contacting them for clarity. On Nov 15, they said they'd close my account and return funds within 60 days. It's been over 3.5 months, and I haven't received my money. Customer service is hard to reach, only through the app, and they won't disclose details for security reasons. They insist my funds will be returned, but there's been no progress. I need assistance.

Through the online app, I deposited money into *** and bought some tesla stocks sometimes towards the end of December 2022 the company contacted me and told me there was some unusual activity on my account. At that point they froze my account and my stocks were sold, I had Over $2000 cash in the account. Eventually they told me that they were going to close my account due to unusual activity but they would not give me any details on what this activity was and my account was frozen and I could not withdraw my money, and to this day, they still refused to let me withdraw my money. Theyve asked me more than three times to submit , these questions and a video of me stating who I am and I I did it twice and I refuse to do it more so at this point they have my money my account is closed or frozen and and theyre asking me once again to answer the same questions, and just submit a video of myself, saying who I am, and they refuse to give me any details about what the unusual activity on my account was or is all I wanna do is withdraw my money and have no other contact or business with this company
I had fraud on my account and it's been over 2 months and haven't had the issue resolved,or what's going on with the fraud on my account, and everytime I ask to talk to a manager that tell me there's not a Manger available this has happened 10 times now ,so it's impossible to talk to manager.. feel like there scaming me out of over 800 dollars I had in my account..
On Saturday February 18th 2023 I attempted to use my Robinhood card for a $5000 payment to Auto Nation CJDR of North ***. The transaction was declined due to system error when I attempted to make the payment again it was declined and said their were restrictions put on my account for suspicious activity. I contacted customer service and they basically told me there was nothing they can do and the case was escalated. I am unable to access my funds in my Robinhood account currently. I contacted them again trying to convey the urgency of the situation and I need the restrictions lifted so I can access my funds. The representative basically told me there was nothing they can do and the person who is assigned the case can only be contacted via email but they could not provide their email. Despite proving to them that I am the owner of the account and it was me initiating the transaction they are not allowing me to access my funds due to suspicious activity. They are essentially holding my money hostage without reason. They are violating my rights and violating the Securities Exchange Act.
I recently opened a Robinhood account and set up a bank account and transferred $2000. A few days after transferring money I tried to buy some stocks and they wouldn't allow me to purchase anything. After several attempts, I tried to pull my money out. Robinhood wouldn't let me. After several attempts I went to their 24/7 support asking why I couldn't buy stocks or get my money back they sent an email saying my account was deactivated for "fraudulent activity" and that my money would be paid back after the remediation process was completed. I asked what fraudulent activities were observed and how long the remediation process was going to take and they quit responding to me. They have held my $2000 hostage for about a month now and won't tell me why or how much longer than plan to continue. I just want my money back. Can you help?
In may I had a bank account reverse funds I was attempting to deposit to my Robinhood crypto account
In may I had a bank account reverse funds I was attempting to deposit to my Robinhood crypto account. Robinhood allowed me to continue buying and selling securities. However after the reversal my account ended up with a deficit of $3,089.05 due to most of the funds already be allocated. I lost access to my account and Robinhood sent an email March 17th stating they would sell all crypto held by Robinhood Crypto and proceed with closing my account. They did neither of those things. Since I had lost access I was under the impression I only had enough in the portfolio to cover the deficit. They emailed again November 16th, this time stating that I could deposit funds or sell crypto otherwise they would sell just enough to cover deficit on November 18th. On November 18th $3,144.05 of Bitcoin was sold and I received a notice that the deficit had been resolved and that my account would remain open since no further action was needed. On December 26th,2021 I proceeded to verify my identity and regain access. Upon doing so I discovered $1,035.54 of etherium and $7,452.42 of bitcoin in my account. I then sold both and verified my new bank account with the intention of closing my Robinhood account. Upon attempting to withdraw funds I am met with a restriction stating I can deposit funds but not withdraw. I emailed dozens of times and the same day got the excuse of it being due to the *** reversals that occured almost 2 years ago. I was told id need to make a new deposit of $4,999.51 within six business days, before 01/03/2022. And once I cover my owed balance, ill be able to withdraw any remaining funds. This amount is the same as the deficit before liquid assets were subtracted. They have now stated I have a deposit restriction also and that Robinhood will not longer support my account. The restriction wasn't placed until a year and a half later and after they sold held securities and stated my acount was clear. They are expecting me to pay them twice

Someone opened a Robinhood account fraudulently using my information. There was no way for me to contact Robinhood without logging into my account -- which I did not have the number for, since it was opened by someone else. No way to contact them by phone, email, chat, or anything else.I had to go through a ridiculous process of VERIFYING the fraudulent account - by taking a picture of my license and other info I felt very uncomfortable sharing - before I could reach any sort of customer service.Since then, they seem to have closed the account but I continue to get automated emails saying that I've failed to provide some requested information on my complaint -- I keep asking WHAT info they need, but just get more automated nonsense responses. It is completely unacceptable that someone who needs to report fraudulent activity with a business has literally no way to do so.
Hello, I'm filing a complaint against Robinhood Financial LLC for closing my brokerage account for not giving additional time to cover my negative balance. I have multiple support chats opened with Robinhood to help find a resolution directly with the company, but they refuse to help me as a customer. I'm looking for a resolution with this company, I've been a customer for about 5 years and haven't seen this type of negative experience before. The pandemic caused some degree of hardship for many people including me, I was unable to cover my outstanding balance due to a decrease in work income, but am currently able to make a deposit to help cover the balance, but the company refuses to help with the situation or even find a resolution through support channels. Please help me with a resolution to this issue, although they charged off my outstanding account balance, I should be able to have my account reactivated and make a deposit to cover that outstanding balance which they refuse to help me with or provide support. If they continue to refuse payment from me to cover my deficit account balance for an unknown reason, I'd like my brokerage account reactivated.
3/14/23 I tried to withdraw money from my account with Robinhood However, The usage of my account was restricted Took 8 hrs for customer service to get back to me After number of transfers to different agents I was told that they will get back to me I cant access my funds , cant transfer back to my bank .They said that my identity needs to be verified After 1 hr on the phone with them I was told they will get back to me I just want to close an account with them and receive my money
On 3/10/2023, I noticed suspicious activity on my Robinhood debit account totaling over $1000. I immediately contacted Robinhood that afternoon and they began the process investigating my account. On the afternoon of 3/10/2023 (while talking to a support agent), I submitted an image of my driver's license as part of the identity verification process. On 3/14, Robinhood requested further identity verification information - a "live selfie" image and a PDF of a bank statement of a linked account. These items were provided to Robinhood on 3/14.It's now been three days and Robinhood isn't able to provide me with any information on when my account will be active again. This account has approximately $46,000 of my money that is used to pay bills (including rent) and purchase groceries. I have not been able to purchase groceries or pay bills for seven days now.Robinhood case number: *** I want to be clear that the support agents are very kind on the phone and this issue is with an excruciatingly slow verification and resolution process and complete lack of expectations on how long this process is going to take (the Robinhood application says I'll hear something "by 3/16").
Good morning
Good morning. On the 15th of April I made a transfer of $10.000,00 twice to buy some stocks and at that time I had enough money on my account as you can see in my bank statements. on the 27th, I made a transfer of $ *** to buy some stocks, and then I saw some other stocks I was interested in. So, then I proceeded with a $ *** transfer to buy some. My transfer said "declined/denied". Knowing that I had enough money in the account and not understanding why the transfer got denied, I tried it again and it got denied again. So, I was thinking that maybe because I've already made the $*** transfer, the system was probably denying me access to make the $ *** transfer. So, I decreased the $ *** to $ ***, and still got denied. I decreased it to $ *** and still got denied. That's when I finally gave up and decided that I was going to try the following day. If your system/website/app is designed to register when transactions get denied, you'll confirm what I said. it will show you every single time I've attempted and got denied. So, the following day, I just made a one-time transfer of $10,000.00, not even thinking about the other transfers I've attempted the day before since they were denied. Every single transfer attempted that was saying "denied/declined" did in fact go through even though they kept saying "denied" and they all reflected on my account. Therefore, the bank reached out to me to find out what was going on. I explained what had happened and they said the best way they could take care of the mess is by reversing every transfer for my account to get back to normal . I told them that only the repeated ones were unintentional. I thought they were only fixing what took place on April 27th, but seems to have gone all the way back to the 15th. Then I noticed that my Robinhood account got locked my stocks got sold, not by me. Even stocks that I had before all this mess got sold. I called my bank and they've informed me that $36,000.

I'm contacting you, as this company made it difficult to reach a live agent. I tried to go through their verification process to establish an account. After the account was opened, they wanted me to upload copies of my passport and license. That's too much information to supply and I wish to cancel/lose this account. However, this company has disabled my ability to cancel this account, which violates my rights in my state. Therefore, if they don't close this account, I'm going to *** them for asking it difficult to close this account.
I previously had an account I want to say a couple years ago and a lot has happened since then. I no longer have access to that email or phone that I used for that account. I tried opening a new account because I'm in a better place and I would like to start investing again. Since my SSN was linked to that old account I couldn't make a new one so I messaged them explaining my situation and they requested some info from me to fix it. Well they refuse to reply back with any kind of information even after a few attempts to get a response. All I want is to get back into my account and start investing. Please help me. This is bogus business.
I tried to link my debit card to Robinhood account but I wasn't successful due to a technical issue with Robinhood. My account has been restricted since 3/13/24 due to suspicious activities. I reached out to my financial institution and the transfers which I have requested were rejected by Robinhood. Robinhood requested a picture of my passport and a selfie of my face with three different angles. I have provided on 3/13/23 the requested information to Robinhood and the request have cleared; however, my account continues to have a restricted usage due to suspicious activities. I tried to reach out today to customer support to have my account reinstated for regular trade. I waited 4 hours and no response was given. I did receive an email from Robinhood support requesting from me the same information I provided a yesterday but now they want a copy of my bank statement showing the relationship with Bank account and debit card. The debit card transaction failed and is no longer required as this transaction failed. I requested via email to have a supervisor contact me without any success.Robinhood is clearly violating my rights without due process, explanation or resolution They are also in direct contravention of Securities Exchange Act, CFPB and FINRA regulations and other laws. All I want is my money to meet immediate financial obligations and get out of this below standard brokerage firm.
There has been no response to update phone # and restore access to my account. I am not able to access the app due to this issue. Documentation to update was provided to Robinhood, but no outreach from the company has been made. Need access and resolution.
On or about 01/04/22 I logged into robinhood trading account only to find that it had been placed on a buying restriction
On or about 01/04/22 I logged into robinhood trading account only to find that it had been placed on a buying restriction. Initially there was no forewarning that this would take place and was not even given any reason whatsoever, which took entirely too much time just to find out that the reason they claim was because of a failed deposit transaction that was completely false and was lied on so that I suspect was due to voicing my opinion about its deceptive practices and less than all-around mediocre service. After explaining my situation 5-6 times to reps. and having to clue them in on the rat's nest of information compiled without any consideration of who might look back on this info. for customer service requests etc. The funds I currently have there which is around *** is being fraudulently withheld from me even after submitting twice a selfie with ID photo and email and phone verification process but robinhood does not even adhere to its own guidelines because clearly after my submission of requested documents, they just can't bring themselves to down from their high horse and admit that they are wrong and it shows that they have engaged in this manner of s*** over its customer's account, its a no wonder why their own stock is a complete failure. They need to give me access to my funds which they have already caused me to lose a significant portion as it is and now as it stands the complete lack of competency is prevalent in that their business platform structure is set up to where you have one rep initiate a restriction for whatever reason, in my case as I mentioned was for a failed ACH bank deposit, for which is completely false, and only till 5-6 reps down the road who have had their hands all over it adding their own spin or narrative, pick one, on any given day. So here it is that I have to do all this follow up work and inquire about this and that and help the 10th rep *** all of their mess together so that they can read their little instructiona

My account has been restricted bc they arent able to verify my identity. I recently got a new phone and attempted to verify my account but there is no page that allows me to enter the security code.I need access to my funds immediately in order to buy groceries. *** keeps transferring me or saying someone will email but I never hear back. Please help me.
Robinhood restricted my account so I could not trade I therefore told them fine I will go ahead and remove my funds from my account they then restricted my ability to remove my funds and will not put it back they keep having me set appointments to call which takes an entire day to get a call they then refuse to actually resolve the issue hang up on me or transfer me and require me to give my private personal information to multiple people who are not even residents of the continental *** they are refusing to let me withdraw my money from my account to close the account and cut ties with their crappy service they are illegally in possession and holding hostage my money every time every time I try to have a chat they say they don't handle it and it will be handled through email I have yet to get an email it's been a week no matter what I do they are being unreasonable and will not handle the situation
can not access my Robinhood account 3-8-2023,have right under $8,000 invested in stocks
My son *** assisted me with opening a Robinhood account and managing it. I am not a market savvy person and he is. When the account was opened the forms were completed using autofill. The social security number was incorrectly entered and we did not know this until the date of discovery which was January 7 2023 On January 7th my son received a letter from Social Security claiming he has too much financial assets. This account is not his account however due to the forms being filled out on his computer he mistakingly allowed the computer to autofill the forms and it filled out his social security number instead of mine on the W9 The account is under my name, my birthdate, my address, and all the funds in the account are mine. He has no right to claim of the funds however the tax form had his social security number on them. I moved my funds to a new account at TDAmeritrade where he is an authorized trader and has no access or interest in the funds aside from moving them in a way to benefit growth. Robinhood does not offer such a trader authorization system. His social security (SSI) benefits have been suspended on a false claim that he has a right to the funds when he does not, Robinhood stated in a brief email to him that he is not the account owner. I need his social security number removed, and a letter stating that its been corrected. Robinhood has failed to call me back or provide much documentation after I sent my social security card to them. This problem has affected my sons benefits for three months now and should have never affected them because it's not his account! Attached is a tax form (showing my details on the account) and an email sent to my son stating he isn't the account owner
I put money in Robinhood May 14
I put money in Robinhood May 14. There were times when I made money and put it in my checking account. One time in October 7 I swiped out $1500 from my Robinhood account, when I went into my bank to see if the money was there I noticed that yes it was there but I also noticed that someone had withdrawn money from my account in the amounts of $1057.00 & also $529.67 on 10/06 I was livid! I did not perform these transactions. I immediately tried to get ahold of Robinhood with them only emailing me saying that they will get back to me at a different time. I immediately called my bank and told them to shut down my personal checking account. Robinhood than sent me an email stating that the account had been shut down. I went to my bank for help and they said they could not find any mischief. I also had robinhood do an investigation and they told me the same. I left the situation alone at that time as it was to stressful for me to handle. Finally on June 1, 2022 I was with my brother who is familiar with doing business with Robinhood and asked for his help to get my money out of robinhood. We called and to my surprise they answered the call. When I told them about the incident all over again they shut down my account and said that in order for me to get back in to the account that I had to supply all kinds of information. I sent emails back and forth to probably 5 different people asking for help to get my money out of my account with no help. Finally I sent an email stating that I was going to contact you the Better Business Burea, The local Prosecuting attorney and also the Attorney General. Someone than called me the next morning stating that they wanted to help me. I told them I want my money out of my account please help me to do so. Grayson was his name, he told me that he could not do that but he would email the department that would help me, he than stated that he would investigate the situation. Within 25 minutes I received an email stating that h

My account with a financial service since May was deactivated, payments rejected despite funds.
I have had an account with a financial service since May. My account got deactivated and all my payments got rejected even though there were funds. Since May, I've been trying to reach out to the service to resolve the issue, but to no avail. Recently, an option to contact them by phone appeared in the app. I requested a callback 20 times and was successful four times. The first time, I spoke with a supervisor who promised my funds within 10 to 14 days via check or prepaid card since my account was no longer linked to my bank, but that didn't happen. I've been waiting for my money, sending several emails and requesting multiple callbacks without success. The responses to my emails repeat that my account will be deactivated, funds sent, and then permanently closed, which hasn't happened after four months. Additionally, I'm concerned about being charged service fees of $5 per month when my account is supposedly deactivated, and I'm worried about the status of my stocks and crypto, especially with fluctuating prices. I urgently want to resolve this, as I'm only asking for what's rightfully mine, which has been withheld for months. I hope this can be settled within 24 hours. I've contacted FINRA and SEC and was advised to file a claim, as many others have done against your company. I'm aware of a significant lawsuit your company lost. I was also advised to file a complaint with the ComplaintsBoard.com and to consult a law firm. I'm not seeking extra compensation, just the resolution of my issue.

(1.) Wednesday, January 12; I contacted Robinhood to explain the deficit of $69.23 on my account
(1.) Wednesday, January 12; I contacted Robinhood to explain the deficit of $69.23 on my account. The deficit prevented me from trading. I sold two stocks of Lightspeed Commerce (LSPD) (I share @ $39.80 and 1 share @ $40.40): $80.20 to clear the deficit (2.) Case ID: ***: On Wednesday, January 12; Robinhood M. responded that the deficit was caused by a technical error (error on their part) and requested that I inform them of the stock or crypto I sold to clear the deficit. I responded on Thursday, January 13 and informed me that I sold two stocks of LSPD.(3.) Case ID: *** (Notice the Case ID changed): On Thursday, January 13; N. with the *** Team told me he will take over the issue and will respond to me. He later responded that day and told me that I need to have enough buying power to reverse the two sells. I responded that I do not understand what he meant. I informed me that the issue was not yet resolved because I am yet to get back my money that I paid to clear the balance. I even asked him to do an instant deposit back to me but he did not respond. In my communication with N., though his tone was good; he was not helpful at all. His emails lacked explanations/details. He ignored most of my emails. I can forward all the communication to you. When I noticed that he was not helpful, I forwarded the communication to: *** (4.) Thursday, January 13: Later that night, I emailed N. again and copied the other three emails; and requested for a phone call or chat so I explain the issue to him. I contacted Robinhood to talk to them but without success. N. did not respond either. So, I decided to wait till I had enough buying power.(5.) Tuesday, January 18: I contacted N. and informed him that I had $100.21 in my account. I still did not understand why I needed to have that buying power. N. responded that he will reverse it. He simply took $80.20 to buy 2 shares of LSPD. I lost money.

This fraud Company sold my *** without my permission and losen me $ ***
This fraud Company sold my *** without my permission and losen me $ ***. I bought those stocks for more than $ *** but they sold my 233 stocks for $ *** total of $ ***. In my stock account there is only some of $ 400 negative balance where anytime it comes to positive because that time market was open and they gave me many chance when my account got $ *** or more negative balance and they informed me to deposit funds and until than I can't buy any stocks and than I deposits funds in my account. But one day when I was not on my computer they showed themselves that my account has a negative $ 400 and if I didn't deposit any funds in my account then they sold my stocks. They think me computer as I am seeing stocks every 24 hours. That time I was not on the computer and not seeing the market report they sold my stocks themselves and make benefits themselves and I lose $ ***. They didn't do this with me they did this with *** or more people. I have proof that I got a many times negative balance but they never sold any of my stocks only they informed me at the end of the market that I can deposit money in my account until then I can't buy any stock from them. I receive many times margin calls but they didn't sell my any stocks but this time they did big fraud with me.On July Robinhood is fined $70 million over misleading customers and system outages. This complaint is about a company that required me to upload ID to change my phone number.
I'm filing a complaint about a company that required me to upload my state ID and a photo of me holding it to verify my identity. After complying, they reopened my account for updates. However, they withdrew funds for 'personal reasons' and barred trading unless I provided 3 months of bank statements. This restriction on my account is unacceptable. They have no right to my personal banking information. It feels like a violation and an overreach of their authority. This issue needs to be addressed by a federal agency to prevent such invasive practices. I need legal assistance to retrieve my funds and close my account with this company.

My account on Robinhood has been locked down for over 3 weeks
My account on Robinhood has been locked down for over 3 weeks. They blocked me from purchasing on Jan 19, based on something that happened two months before the restrictions. I've had several email correspondences with them, but they haven't reached out to me or responded to any of my emails regarding this issue since Jan 22. I should also point out that during this whole thing, I've been paying for their premium service. This isn't the only shady interaction I've had with Robinhood. When I turned off their margin service in mid-December to try and see how it worked, later that night they claimed to lock my account and asked me to verify my identity using the Robinhood app, which didnt work. So instead I sent an email letting them know that The app wouldn't let me verify my account, which they never responded too. The next day however, everything was fine and my account had full functionality, after I turned margin back on. Fast forward a month, and after assessing my investment situation I decide to turn margin back off. Shortly after, I find myself in the situation that caused me to send this email, my account restricted, unable buy stocks or withdraw money from Robinhood. Only able to sell my stocks and deposit money into Robinhood. It seems like they may be restricting accounts that turn off margin, whether they were using it while it was active or not. It seems like my case wasn't an isolated incident. I had friend whose account got restricted at the same time as mine and it seems like there are many stories on the Internet of people with similar issues, all around the same time that this *** thing is happening and Robinhood is trying to get their IPO set up. Whether this is some grand, sinister conspiracy or just really [censored]ty customer service, I've exhuasted my options. Robinhood is sitting on over $55,000 of my money and has stopped responding to my emails. My name is *** and this is a shared email account with ***. The Robinhood hood account under my name with *** as a Trusted contact.

I need assistance with an account issue from a decade ago
I need assistance with an account issue from a decade ago. I had set up an account at a professional event using my work email. Recently, I opened another account and was informed I can't have two. To access the old one, I need the work email I no longer have. Despite explaining and providing proof from HR, the responses from customer service vary, with no resolution. Some acknowledge the account and its funds, but can't share more information. I have confirmations of both accounts and the closed work email.

In early February I requested that shares in my Robinhood account be transferred to a few other brokerages as they were having liquidity issues
In early February I requested that shares in my Robinhood account be transferred to a few other brokerages as they were having liquidity issues. On 2/9, the requested shares were transferred via ACAT to *** Invest. On 2/10, that same request occurred a second time. I was told this was due to a system error. I have been messaging them since this time to have the second deposit returned to my Robinhood account. I waited one week for the response. The first cust svc person did not know what an ACAT transfer was. I asked to be moved to someone else. The next person told me I needed *** Invest to have something in their system to accept the transfer request. I spent 1.5 hrs waiting on the phone with *** to get this taken care of. I followed up with Robinhood to confirm when this would be ready. This morning, *** said they tried transferring my shares back, but Robinhood is not allowing incoming transfers at this time. I have messaged them for support almost every day for the past week and have heard nothing. 1. I need my shares transferred back. 2. Robinhood charges a $75 fee when you transfer stocks. They charged this fee to me twice. I want my $75 returned. 3. The second $75 fee caused my account to be overdrawn. I have repeatedly asked, but not heard back if this resulted in any overdraft charges. If so, those should be refunded to my account. 4. Neither *** Invest, nor *** (where I transferred other stock) received the cost of my stock. Both institutions need that information so they can properly cost my stock when I sell, for tax purposes. 5. They should have had a system in place to find this double sending of shares and proactively corrected this without my constant involvement. I need all of these points addressed before I can consider this issue resolved. Last year I filed a ComplaintsBoard.com complaint after Robinhood product failures resulted in my losing money. I received no resolution for this issue from Robinhood or ComplaintsBoard.com. I hope we have better results on this complaint as the $ amount being mishandled is considerably larger. Time is of the essence. I've already not had access to a considerable amount of stock over the month I have been dealing with the poor customer service department who can't find 15 minutes to resolve the issues their business created.

At about 1PM EST on December 14th, I logged into my Robinhood brokerage account to see that my stock positions were being sold automatically
At about 1PM EST on December 14th, I logged into my Robinhood brokerage account to see that my stock positions were being sold automatically without my knowledge or consent. I realized that my account had been compromised, the hacker had gotten into my account and changed my email address, phone number, and password to their own, locking me out of my own account. The hacker then proceeded to use their Robinhood debit card to spend the money that they had just illegally gained by selling my stocks in my account. All the while, I tried to get in contact with Robinhood support to see if they could do anything about this. I tried to call them, but they do not have an active customer support phone line, so I was forced to email them. Hours passed and I received no response, meanwhile the hacker was draining my account of all its funds. He now had access to my personal information, like my bank account, email, and my home address, putting me and my family at an immediate risk. The hacker was able to get into my email address and bank account, and I was forced to call my bank to lock my account, but he had already stolen some of my money, and he now had unlimited access to my personal information. After hours, I received an automated email response from Robinhood, telling me to provide them with my account information, so I did immediately, and again I waited for a response. Again, hours passed without a response, and when I finally got a response about 6 hours after the incident, it was another automated email, telling me to provide them with the same information I already had provided previously. I emailed them several time, over and over again, giving them every last detail of my account information and of the incident. This morning, at about 10:30 AM EST on December 15th, they emailed me back with yet ANOTHER automated email, telling me to reset my password. My account was hacked, drained of its funds, my bank account was compromised, my email was hacked, and my home address is now known to the hacker, and the best that Robinhood support can do is tell me to reset my password a full day after this happened. I would assume that for an app that promises financial security, the safety of their users would come before anything, but I guess not. The terrible Robinhood support team has put my family and I in immediate danger, and they refuse to do anything about it, except for sending me automated emails. Its incredible that this isnt even being looked into, and Im astonished that they are still allowed to operate without a function security system.

I submitted my initial customer service request to Robinhood on 5/23 because my account had been locked due to suspicious activity
I submitted my initial customer service request to Robinhood on 5/23 because my account had been locked due to suspicious activity. The response from Robinhood was my account had been accessed from Iran, Syria, or the Crimea region of Ukraine. This activity was not made by me and I have a password reset from Robinhood on 5/28. Following this I numerous emails back and forth with Robinhood requesting me to upload data to my account including photos of my ID and changes to be made to secure my account however, I did not have access to my account so there was no way for me to follow any of the steps they had listed. This back and forth continued and then I had life issues come up that were more pressing. I resubmitted my requests since nothing was ever resolved again on 12/22. After multiple emails of Robinhood asking for more information and clarification they again stopped responding with no resolution. I made a 3rd attempt to correct the situation on April 10. I have opened multiple different tickets to get responses since they only appear to answer new request and do not follow up on open issues. At one point it appeared Robinhood send out 3 rapid succession emails to me that were not attached to my previous email or with a reference to my concerns on May 7, 202p asking for photos of my social security card, another telling me to again log in to an account I had zero access to to upload my government issued ID and a third saying my account has been permanently locked and no longer will me useable. All 3 sent as separate emails at the exact same time. I sent an email in response to one of the emails asking why I received 3 emails asking for 3 different things and why they would ask for that information if they are just closing my account. I also questioned why they would have sent such emails when this has been a question of identity theft from day 1 and sending that information through email potentially unencrypted and without knowing who is in the other end of the Robinhood emails since I continually have limited response or follow through. The response I was given did not answer my questions about recovering my account or that I am more than willing to submit the required identification to prove I am myself but I want to do so in a secure way. They told me they would only respond to my 1 email/case # from that point forward. I have been asking for am update through that case # every week since mid May and I have yet to receive 1 response. This is an account that has my MONEY invested in it. I have not had access to my money for over a year! This needs to be resolved.

I made around $33000 trading stock options on Robinhood over the course of about a month Beginning to end
I made around $33000 trading stock options on Robinhood over the course of about a month Beginning to end. A failed deposit put a restriction on my account but after email correspondence it was lifted by robinhood which then allowed me to continue trading. Over the next weeks I increased my portfolio value to about 33k. Could have almost doubled had they not had initiated a sell call and closed my positions. Now the proceeds from all of my trades have been withheld with no clear explanation. They claim I've violated the customer agreement but refuse to tell me how I allegedly did so instead saying they will not be elaborating on this matter further. That's alot of money to me so I demanded an explanation but the only reply I received sais they "Believe" I violated the customer agreement and because of this violation they have removed proceeds made with reversed funds or on 3rd party devices. Well first I made a $1000 successful deposit initially and made trades that earned gains with that then when making a $3000 deposit it was returned from my bank because my balance had dropped $50 or so below $3000 accidentally. When discovering this, while viewing my bank statement online,I immediately closed some positions to ensure $3000 would be available for Robinhood to deduct from my Robinhood account balance to cover the reversed deposit. My account was restricted nevertheless until emailing them explaining the circumstances of the reversal. After they recieved my email, robinhood lifted the restriction because the money "wasn't spent" and they were able to collect it. They sent an email telling me I was free to continue trading. Second, all devices I used to access my account and make trades were already approved and listed in the TRUSTED DEVICES section on my account.I've sent multiple emails everyday for the last week demanding my money be returned and attaching images of emails and msgs from robinhood contradicting the claims they have made proving clearly that I did no wrong. Regardless, they have not returned my earnings from legal trades I made and have since closed my account and stonewalled all further attempts to resolve this matter. They have made trades , closed positions (with gains not losses) and removed funds from my account without prior/any notice or authorization to do so and im still receiving interest payments on those funds.. ive read thats illegal? How can they be allowed to do this to customers and remain in business. ? They lifted the restriction from reversed funds and said happy trading and all devices are trusted. After my positions were at a large gain they closed them and then closed my account and kept my money.
