Review: Roblox - A Fun and Safe Platform for Kids and Adults Alike
Roblox is a great platform for kids and adults alike. As a kid myself, I can say that I really enjoy playing shooters on Roblox. It's a great way to have fun and pass the time. If you're a parent, you can easily protect your child by turning on 2 step verification and a pin in the settings. You can also adjust the privacy settings to "No One" to ensure your child's safety.
When you first join Roblox, you might only see the simulators, but there are actually a lot of great games out there if you do some searching. Some of my favorites include Strucid, Apocalypse Rising, Nerf FPS, Brickbattle Royale, Build a Boat for Treasure, Q-Clash!, Super Nostalgia Zone, and Survivor. Survivor is a great game for socializing and learning about friendship, trust, honesty, and generosity. It's just like the TV show, but virtual.
Now, let's talk about the downsides of Roblox. Scam bots have been a problem since 2016, and they can be dangerous if you fall for their tricks. They try to get you to go to a website that generates Robux, but it's just a scam to get you to do surveys so the website owner can make money. Violence is also a concern for some parents, but it's just part of the game. The removal of the forums was a good decision because of the toxicity and childish behavior. Hackers and exploiters can also ruin the game for others, and the community can be very toxic at times.
Overall, Roblox is a great platform for kids and adults to have fun and socialize. It has its downsides, but if you use common sense and protect yourself, you can have a great time. Don't fall for scam bots, ignore toxic players, and enjoy the games that Roblox has to offer. And if you're interested in Survivor, check out this link: https://www.roblox.com/games/***/DESC-Survivor.
Review: Roblox - A Multi-Platform Game with Flaws and Fun
Roblox is a game that has been around for quite some time now. I have been playing it since 2014, and I have seen it grow and evolve over the years. One of the things that I love about Roblox is that it is available on multiple platforms. You can play it on your mobile device, your PC, or even on Xbox. And if you have a VR headset, you can even experience certain games in virtual reality.
Speaking of VR, it is a feature that is slowly growing in popularity on Roblox. VR players have certain abilities that regular players do not have. They can grow, shrink, and hit players with their hands. However, they are restricted to certain games that allow VR players to play. So, if you join one of these games, you are basically consenting to be smacked around by VR players for their own amusement.
Moving on to Xbox, certain games like Phantom Forces or Arsenal can be a lot of fun to play. They are like general FPS games, but with less violence and almost no adult language. The filter on Roblox is very protective against offensive language, but there are also flaws. For example, innocent things like numbers cannot be said because personal information may be shared through the chat. However, you can use a /mute command to mute someone or a /whisper command to private message someone.
On PC, which is probably the most popular device for playing Roblox, you can enjoy most of the games available on the platform. Developers also use PC because it is easiest to write code, build, and do other things. However, if you don't have a good PC, some games may not be kind to it.
Now, let's talk about Robux, the digital currency used in Roblox. Some people have complained that Robux may cost too much, or that they get bullied or insulted for not having any. However, it isn't really that bad. If you can't afford it, just don't buy it. If you get insulted, ignore it or use the /mute command. Robux can be used to buy certain games, items, and gamepasses. Most paid games are around 25 robux, and most clothing items are around 5 robux. However, items like hats or faces cost more, and limiteds can cost over 100,000 robux. Premium is a membership that gives you special features like the ability to make groups, extended group count, a certain amount of robux each day, and robux discounts.
Mobile devices are also a good way to play Roblox, but the operating speed and lag can be bad. This limits them to certain low graphic games, but if you find a good one, you can still have a fairly enjoyable time. Hackers and exploiters are also a problem on Roblox. Exploiters are easy to deal with, just report them and join a new server. Hackers, on the other hand, are harder to deal with. You should verify your email, not try any Free Robux sites or games, and only trade with trusted people.
In conclusion, Roblox is a great game that can be enjoyed on multiple platforms. It has its flaws, but overall it is a fun and entertaining experience. Just be careful of hackers and exploiters, and don't let the negative reviews discourage you from trying it out. Thanks for reading!
Roblox Review: A Fun and Safe Online Gaming Experience with Some Limitations
Roblox is a game that allows players to create their own virtual world and interact with others in a safe and fun environment. However, there are some limitations to what players can do within the game. For example, I tried to create a t-shirt with a funny text on it, but Roblox deemed it inappropriate and wouldn't let me do it. I tried again and again, but the same message kept popping up.
Despite this issue, I still enjoy playing Roblox. There are so many different games to choose from, and I love exploring all the different worlds that other players have created. Some of my favorites include obstacle courses, role-playing games, and even virtual fashion shows.
One thing that I appreciate about Roblox is the community. Most players are friendly and helpful, and I've made some great friends through the game. Of course, there are always a few bad apples, but the game's moderation team does a good job of keeping things under control.
Overall, I would recommend Roblox to anyone looking for a fun and safe online gaming experience. Just be aware that there are some limitations to what you can do within the game, and don't get too frustrated if your t-shirt ideas get rejected.
Roblox: A Concerning Online Game for Kids - A Parent's Review
I recently stumbled upon Roblox, an online game that seemed to be owned by Lego. I let my kids create accounts and they had a good time playing around with Lego-like characters in sparse environments. However, things took a turn when my security system started flashing warnings about the site not being parental safe. Upon investigation, I found that the URLs from the advertising being served were not kid-friendly and were being served by typical ad networks. This was a major concern for me as a parent.
Upon further research, I found that Roblox is a moderated game/forum where users can generate games. While it claims to meet government restrictions for being kid privacy safe, I am skeptical. User-generated game content means that you are never sure what will pop up. For example, there was a game entitled "Can You Blow Up The Eiffel Tower? - Nuke" that I definitely did not want my kids playing or even seeing. This game was surrounded by a suspicious-looking banner ad that looked like it was using a friend's account in the ad.
Another major concern was the sign-up process. There are no real confirmation checks to get parental permission, so a kid can open up a moderated account without their parent's permission. This is a major red flag for me as a parent.
Finally, I was worried about the company behind Roblox. While it uses Lego-looking avatars, it has nothing to do with Lego. Their About Us link has very minimal information, which is concerning. I couldn't find much information about them online, other than that they are funded by a venture capital firm and angel investors.
Overall, I uninstalled the game and left it on the block list. The user-generated game about blowing up the Eiffel Tower surrounded by suspicious-looking banner ads was enough for me. Throw in the fact that they try to look like Lego, I can't find out much about them online, and they stand behind a government act as why they are child privacy safe was too much for me.
To elaborate on this, not only do they fail at age verification, but they do not care to moderate anything that happens there, unless it happens to be an innocent person reporting pedophile activity. Even then, the pedophiles are still on there, and I am banned with no reason, offensive item, or any reason other than that they cover their own rears for wrongful banning through the terms of service they so readily abuse.
It is also worth noting that the CEO of Roblox, David Baszucki, has a criminal history. He was arrested on charges of using Builders Club membership profits to purchase cocaine. This is a major red flag for me as a parent, and I cannot trust a site run by someone with such a history.
In conclusion, I would not recommend Roblox for kids. The site is not safe for children, and the company behind it is not trustworthy. As a parent, it is important to do your research and make informed decisions about what your kids are exposed to online.
its not the game thats bad, its the mods and the community that makes it bad
Roblox: A Platform with Dangerous Games and Toxic Behavior
I've been a part of the Roblox community for over a year now, and I recently had a frustrating experience with the Roblox shop. I purchased an item, but it was deleted the very next day without any explanation. I reached out to Roblox customer service for help, but all I received were scripted responses that didn't address my concerns. It's concerning to think about what could happen if someone purchased something more significant and it was deleted without warning.
As a parent, I also want to share some of the concerning things I've seen on Roblox. Despite their own rules, there are games on the platform that encourage online dating and sexual activity. I've checked out some of these games myself, and it's alarming to see young children acting out sexual scenarios with their avatars. It's not just inappropriate, it's dangerous. There are predators on the platform, and these games make it easy for them to prey on unsuspecting children.
What's even more concerning is that these games are allowed to exist on Roblox. The people creating them must be sick in the head or predators themselves. I've seen kids as young as eight years old in these games, and it's clear that they have no idea what they're getting into. Roblox needs to take responsibility for the content on their platform and remove these games immediately.
But it's not just the games that are the problem. The toxic behavior of some players is also a significant issue. People on Roblox often act like their avatars are how they look in real life, and they'll insult others based on their appearance. It's not just name-calling either; some players will tell others to commit suicide or make fun of their grammar. It's unacceptable behavior, and it's not something that should be tolerated on any social media platform.
Of course, there are good people and good games on Roblox too. But it's essential to be aware of the dangers and to monitor what your children are doing on the platform. Roblox needs to do more to protect its users, especially children, from predators and inappropriate content. As a community, we need to hold them accountable and demand change.
Roblox: A Game for All Ages, Despite False Reviews and Greedy YouTubers
Roblox is a great game to play if you're ever feeling bored with the same old games. However, there have been false reviews about this game for years now, mostly due to people playing the games on the front page of Roblox without doing any research. This leads to judgmental comments about the game, but online daters can be easily avoided by just avoiding them. The main reason why false reviews exist is because of greedy YouTubers taking advantage of children's minds and parents' desperation with clickbait titles. These YouTubers make videos because a lot of children watch them, and children equal views, which equals money. This leads to Roblox having a bad appearance on the YouTube website, with thousands of "family-friendly videos" popping up in a millisecond, with no actual Roblox videos in sight.
If you actually like Roblox, you wouldn't put up a fake facade about how "cute" and "family-friendly" you are in your videos just to lure in parents. It shows that they are only playing this game to earn ad revenues and not enjoying the game. They see this game as a job because Roblox is for kids, right? If you do this to earn money, leave Roblox alone and go make nursery rhyme videos or something.
Flamingo, Remainings, and Ruben Sim are the only channels that are actually entertaining to look at because Flamingo is a parody of those family-friendly channels, and Ruben Sim and Remainings have really cool videos that don't take advantage of children. Leave Roblox alone!
If you're a parent who wants their six-year-old to play Roblox, try following tutorials on YouTube. The reason why Roblox graphics are so special is that it doesn't focus on graphics but focuses on buildings and how well the player can move through them. Most good graphic games such as Fallout or Left 4 Dead have this thing where you can't stand on an object or a table full of stuff. But in Roblox, you can just jump around on things all you want. This is because the Roblox character doesn't have any sort of complex design. It is very similar to the Minecraft character, but Roblox characters have more freedom to move around because the brick designs are random while Minecraft only has blocks in it. You can put the character's feet near a bottle and not worry about the character's animation.
There are thousands of communities in Roblox, from roleplaying to game developing and even wars against other groups. The most complex communities are war groups, myth hunting, casual roleplaying, sword fighting, competitive gun fighting, casual fun with players or in games, and art making and game people. The Roblox program is about making games, so there are so many random games on Roblox because people want to earn Robux through developing. If you want to earn Robux, try developing games and selling game passes and items in your game. Don't just complain about how it's "not free."
Roblox Review: A Fun Game with Some Risks - What You Need to Know Before Playing
Roblox is a popular online game that has millions of players worldwide. It is an entertaining game that offers a wide range of games to choose from. However, before you dive into the game, there are some things you need to know.
Firstly, the game has some negative aspects that you should be aware of. For instance, there are a lot of obnoxiously hard captchas that can be frustrating. Additionally, you need to buy robux to enjoy some of the game's features. There are also games that are not suitable for children under 12 years old, and there are people out there who try to hack others. Exploiting is also a major issue, and it's possible to get banned accidentally due to skepticism by the moderators. There are also 18+ games that exist, and moderators try to ban those. Bullying, filter bypassing, scamming, and scam-scripted games are also prevalent. Some games are extremely difficult, and copyrighted music playing can demonetize any video you're trying to record. Random gamepass popups can also make you accidentally waste your money.
Despite these negative aspects, Roblox is still a highly recommended game for kids aged 10 and above. However, they need to be able to handle bullying, filter bypassing, and know how to avoid inappropriate games. The website is generally safe, and moderators are quick to ban and observe these games.
When it comes to security, it's essential to take measures to protect your account. You should make a complex password over 10 characters minimum and enable 2 step verification. You should also activate the PIN code and insert a 4 digit number that is not apparent and easy to guess. If you ever get hacked, you can contact Roblox moderators for help.
Bullying and filter bypassing are also prevalent in the game. However, you can block players who are disrespectful to you, and there is a limit to blocking people. If they're affecting you in a way such as targeting you in a PvP game, you can just rejoin the game. If the game is small and you can't join another server, just block them and then rejoin. You cannot join blocked players.
It's also important to note that games with blood are only allowed if you can disable it, it gives a very fair warning, or it's very unrealistic like red circles on the ground.
Lastly, there are 18+ games on Roblox that are not suitable for children. These games are made by immature people trying to ruin the website by making "condo" games, which just lets you do actions that are not permitted on Roblox. It's best to ignore these games and unfriend anyone who plays them.
In conclusion, Roblox is an entertaining game that offers a wide range of games to choose from. However, it's essential to take measures to protect your account and be aware of the negative aspects of the game. With that said, it's still a highly recommended game for kids aged 10 and above.
Roblox Review: A Phenomenal Game with Room for Improvement
I never thought I'd be writing a review for Roblox or any game for that matter. But here I am, giving it a one-star rating. Maybe Roblox doesn't deserve it, but I'm writing this out of my own personal experiences. Despite the great community and the game itself, there are a few things to be aware of. Consider this review a lesson, because there is always room for improvement.
Let's start with the game itself. Roblox is a multiplayer online platform where members of the community can play and create games for others. It's simple and stays true to that sense. People of all ages can interact with each other in many ways, making it a great platform for children to explore their imagination or teenagers to have fun with friends. It's an immersive world of creativity that can be enjoyed by practically anyone with its expansive variety of genres and playstyles. Developers get to share their creations and enjoy others, making it the perfect way to showcase different talents.
But when it comes to the community, there are a few problems. One of the most common problems is the "toxic" or unwelcoming players. It can be annoying to deal with someone who starts swearing just because they lost to someone else. Other times, it can be uncomfortable and not easy to deal with, especially if the situation gets out of hand. But, it is a multiplayer platform after all.
Another problem is the exploiters. It's always a hassle to deal with them. Accounts are stolen, children are scammed, and people are manipulated. Roblox couldn't exactly keep that part of the community from doing what it does. It's frustrating, and players themselves have to deal with a problem that should've been taken care of already. And so much was lost. People lost the sparkle and joy Roblox once had for them because some idiot decided it would be funny to hack into their 2008 account.
Another problem that I have with the community is appropriateness. It is the responsibility and liability to comply with the terms of service of Roblox, yet people violate them anyways. One of the most controversial periods in the Roblox community when it comes to this type of problem were the predators and online daters. The fact that other players have to deal with those who haven't agreed to the terms of service isn't right. And what makes the situation even more serious is the extent of the problem. There were countless cases of people being "exposed" for doing something such as listed above. Pedophilia, child predators, crude content creators, are only some of the many problems that sometimes make the security of the platform questionable. The response to those said events was also handled very immaturely. Irrelevant and sensitive rumors sprout out from nowhere, and it's quite a while before someone stands up to stop it. And by that time, it's already on the news, maybe even the police involved. It's very annoying to have to deal with such trivial things.
On the topic of moderation though, there really needs to be a change. Filters don't even work most of the time, because people always want to find a way to bypass the filters. We can't stop them. It's their choice to. But the least you could do was find a way to filter it for those who didn't want to confront that type of content.
Enough said about the problems with the community. But one thing I really wanted to talk about was the customer support system and reliability of the platform. The bugs. There are many. I lost an account along with a thousand dollars worth in-game transactions because of a bug. It's frustrating to lose something I spent so much time on because of a bug. And what makes it worse is the so-called "support" Roblox provides. There wasn't so much as a bat of an eye when someone sends in a complaint or a report on abusive players. It's all left to people having to bore themselves with articles with the information they already know. Is it so hard to provide an open customer support system? It would've solved a lot of problems. They just send you an email saying, "Don't worry man, we got you covered. Just let me get back to you". That cover never came. Are we to believe that they care? Are we supposed to do everything ourselves? Is that how it works?
But it worked out for others, even if it wasn't me. The game itself is phenomenal. It's iconic. It gave a whole new meaning to interactions. It got people together who would've never met if it wasn't for the game and its magic. Kids will find it fun. Teens will find it comfortable. Adults will find it convenient. And in the end, everyone just wants to sit down and enjoy the beauty of Lego-style animations.
If you read the entire review, good job. You are now biased. Don't be. It's nothing more than a disclaimer to things that won't always happen. My point of writing this review was passing on "wisdom" so others could enjoy the game in ways that I couldn't. In the end, it's for the best. So give it a shot and put on your thinking caps. It's time to get creative. :)
ROBLOX Review: Is it Safe for Kids?
ROBLOX is a popular website that allows individuals of all ages to socialize and communicate with each other. However, many parents are concerned about the suitability of the website for their children. As a platform that is primarily directed towards children aged 6-10, many of the reviews are uninformative and questionable. Despite this, I will attempt to provide an overall basis for the website.
ROBLOX was established by David Baszucki and Erik Cassel in 2004, and was originally intended to be titled "Dynablox". The platform was designed to be a hub in which users could create games, obbies, and much more. While it was not associated with the learning of coding, it did permit one to use a modified version of Lua, a coding language. These games are supposedly used to power imagination, though many use this feature to plagiarize content. Eventually, however, ROBLOX altered itself from an educational platform to a business standard.
ROBLOX is a cross-platform, permitting usage on any Windows device, PC, Mac, Xbox 1, and most phones and mobile constructs. However, many active players have stated that the most innovative experience is on the average house computer.
One of the most controversial features of ROBLOX is the chat system. The chat feature was established in early 2007 as a way to socialize with other individuals and befriend them. Many games such as "Adopt Me" or "Robloxian Highschool" are dependent on this, as roleplaying games might be perceived as pointless as you cannot communicate, and essentially cannot "play" the game. While generally this is neutral commenting many individuals use this maliciously, which could negatively impact your child/children. Also, to supposedly conserve time, many speak with broken or incomplete sentences alongside with inaccurate spelling, punctuation, and grammar. For example, "I am going to visit the store." might be "i go to store". In a quantity of predicaments, these children had developmental issues in their vocabulary that in some cases even affected adulthood. While you might accuse the other users of causing this, ROBLOX has not publicly noticed or responded to this issue. The peoples of ROBLOX are, like many toddlers, preteens, teenagers, and some adults cyberbullies. While ROBLOX attempts to filter this, it is most often ineffective. For example, altering, removing, or adding characters that resemble "$h*!" or "dumb as" are uncensored. Despite the attempts of the chat filter in this dispute, this issue seems unresolvable. They would simply block what they deemed unacceptable with hashtags, though many individuals comprehend what they mean with the chat around it or the amount of hashtags. They also filter numbers as to prevent one from sharing their age, social security number, ec cetera, however you may avoid this filter by speaking in roman numerals. Acquainting that, they filter a questionable number of words that shouldn't be filtered regardless of how it is acted with, sexual words and names, and most language ROBLOX does not support. ROBLOX claims to consistently and relentlessly assess this predicament, however its efforts appear to be in vain. Most individuals state that the chat is "garbage" and "should be fixed".
As ROBLOX permits one to create attire, games, clubs, and much more, content may be perceived as sexual, unsuitable for young audiences, and much more. For example, when you alter your avatar's appearance you might find questionable clothing, depicting images such as blood, violence, and much more, occasionally including nudity. The next example of non-suitable content is "Adopt and Raise a Baby" is a roleplaying game in which you take the role of any family member of your choice or a pet. However, as a result of this online dating has become a popular occurrence in ROBLOX. Another example is "Murder Mystery 2" or "Murder Mystery X", with X meaning 10 in roman numerals. These games begin as you are randomly selected to be a sheriff, innocent, or murderer. As a sheriff, you acquire a gun at the start of a round, and you are to use that weapon to kill the murderer. If you die, innocents may move to your corpse and obtain the gun, altering their title to a hero. If you shoot an innocent both you and the innocent die. There is only one sheriff in a round. The innocent is simply instructed to deduce who the murderer is and avoid them. They may also describe them in chat. The final option is the murderer, who has a role that is self-explanatory. Kill everyone in the server assuming they do not reset their avatar before the vicinity of 3 minutes pass. They often hide their identity, though they often reveal themselves as a pose to committing a thing. There is only 1 murderer in a round. We might perceive this as the promotion of violence which is strictly prohibited by ROBLOX's policies. ROBLOX is quite aware of this predicament as "Murder Mystery 2" is one of the most renowned games on ROBLOX, with an accumulated 3.3 billion views as of writing.
As a free videogame, parents might ponder how ROBLOX sustains on the market. ROBLOX permits usage of gamepasses, boosts, microtransactions, and more with a substance known simply as "robux". To the average individual of the middle class, it might seem expensive. For example, the sufficiencies to admin gamepasses in tycoon games might be seen as absurd, with many being retailed for 1,000,000 robux. The quantity of 2,000 robux would require $24.99. For 1,000,000 robux, it could cost as much as $24,950.00, which is over 22 times as much as the average American revenue one would make in half of a year, although economic values differ from state. There is also the accumulating threat of scamming, and as children aged between 3-7 are in a developmental stage in which they only apprehend their thoughts and deliberations, their minds are rather feeble. If they do not acquire robux, they may become desperate and due to this are typically easy to scam. Also, a child might use your credit card multiple times, being able to purchase up to $200.00 of robux in one transaction, you might be opposed by unpayable bills. Thankfully ROBLOX will refund the money that your child has not yet used.
In conclusion, ROBLOX is a good game. It is creative, innovating, and sometimes addicting. While I have not stated all of the issues in this predicament, I have explained many major issues. While it is very much dangerous, I believe it is suitable for any individual 13 or older.
Roblox Complaints 210
Sexual harassment, satanic rituals and items
Roblox has been showing me items that I feel are sexual and when I report these items, or block the creator of the items, More continue to show up, I am not comfortable using the roblox app, its not appropriate for children at this point, first they added sexual content and sexualities, but now they begin to add satanic items, there is no way to stop the items from showing up, Satanic items are especially not appropriate, as riturals involve the following, human sacrifice, animal sacrifice, SEX RITURALS (not appropriate for children or young teenagers, both play roblox.) and there are more examples, there are also LGBTQ items on there, my cousin Teressa, killed herself after becoming a member of the community because she realised she was going through a phase in which young girls, which the community is targetting (look up the statistics.) the phase she was going through, was a phase teenage girls and children 10-17 go through where they want to act like boys. She killed herself because she realized she wanted to have children and be a girl, but she was already transitioned so she couldn't. This is a terrible thing that they are doing to children. Should not be shared on the website
Desired outcome: That roblox at least makes it so items reported will no longer show up. Or that they don't show these items in general. to make the platform safe for children and teenagers.
private server billing
I paid the necessary requirement for a private sever for blox fruits on this website and never got my private server renewed. I paid the bill on my private server for blox fruits but now I can't get into it, and it says the bill was never paid.
This matter is upsetting both me and my friends in this matter cause I have multiple friends who use my private server and are now no longer able to do so.
Even after trying to report this matter, I was not given a refund of my 200 robux that was stolen from me. I am very upset about this matter.
Desired outcome: I would like to get my 200 robux back and my private server back because i feel this treatment is unfair.
SnowFlakes
I have already been banned twice from little kids over hearing me say discriminatory language but it wasn't towards them and I'm tired of kids not being able to take a joke because they aren't old enough to be able to joke around with. I just want to say that there should be an 18+ limit you have to reach in order to report people because I'm tired of little kids reporting me because they don't like what I'm saying even if it's not towards them. Now I don't mean just anything like just curse words here and there is what I'm trying to say. I don't to keep getting banned because I have a more mature vocabulary than them and they can't handle it.
Desired outcome: Please put an age limit on reporting people so that little kids will stop abusing the reporting system. It's very annoying and takes the fun out of playing the game.
bullying?
I need to know why everytime somebody tries to start a fight with me and i fight back because they over here disrespecting me but im the one who gets banned but everytime they start the fight and everybody be stereotyping i want my accounts back and specially because ive been playing for hella long and this never happened untill 2023 and my friend who was with me i dont know if she got banned but her name was lexi2hotforyou or something like that and this isnt the first time this happened to me and i just find it unfair you only read my messages but not what they be saying and when i report somebody for stuff like this nothing happens
Desired outcome: id appreciate my accounts back and for yall to take all the records off luckythekiller133 and rosaylocxfreeze because thats hella unfair
Buying classic pants
When I am shopping on the marketplace, and trying to buy some classic pants I searching for them that part is ok. the part that doesn't work is when I scroll down what happens is it goes into hair without going to the classic pants. And I know that you are trying to swich to these new pants and shirts to the new kind that you have brought into place. kind regards Wilmawaddington
Desired outcome: Be able to buy classic pants when I search for them
Roblox's Unethical Practices: Exploiting Young Children for Profit
So, my daughter is a big fan of Roblox and she loves playing the game "Murder Mystery". However, recently she got scammed by a user named "giraffebanana" who took her stuff worth 2,200 Robux and left the game without paying her. As a parent, it was heartbreaking to see my daughter in such a state. I contacted Roblox customer service for help, but they were unable to restore the lost items and told me to contact the gaming creator directly. I was shocked to hear this as I had no idea who the gaming creators were.
I have spent a lot of money on this game for my daughter, buying skins for her avatar and faces. It is unfair that Roblox allows scam traders to exploit young children and washes their hands off such issues. They should take responsibility for what happens on their site and not default to their gaming creators. It is unethical and terrible to see young children being manipulated and exploited for profit.
To make matters worse, Roblox is offering a face for 130,000 Robux, which is equivalent to approximately AUD$1,750. This is a ridiculous amount of money to spend on a virtual face, and it shows how Roblox is allowing their gaming creators to manipulate and profit from young children who do not understand the value of money. It is a total exploitation of their emotions and a form of abuse.
In conclusion, Roblox needs to take responsibility for what happens on their site and not default to their gaming creators. They should ensure that young children are not being exploited and scammed in the game. It is unfair to see parents spending thousands of dollars on this game, only to have their children be abused and scammed. Roblox needs to do better and ensure that their site is a safe and fair place for all users.
Roblox claims to be a Family Friendly platform. It is not. I am a father of 2. I have had the show games that have come up on their recommended games thats had sexual content in it. Roblox will only ban the game if enough parents complain to them about it. The limited items are %100 exploited and even the games are used for manipulation. They make a pet game you buy your kid the pet for 5-20 usd, The next day they have another to trump over that 1 for 2x's the amount. I understand marketing, but when you claim "Family Friendly" then you need to apply the right amount of control over the exploiting of young children. As a parent it is up to us to just not buy the in game currency. Best advice I can give is to take your children off thsi platform. There is known predators on this game. There are even groups that use Roblox as a way to communicate over long distances. Roblox will not ban them. Look up the lawsuits that s already been filed against this company. They exploit and extort every transaction made. The Developers know this also and use it to their full advantage to get .99 cents from you or your children over and over and over again. This is a %100 predatorial website. Not the Family Freindly that it claims to be.
Roblox Review: A Fun Website with Some Flaws
Roblox is a super cool website where you can play games that other people made. There are so many different types of games to choose from, like obstacle courses, roleplay, tycoons, simulators, and more! You can find a game that you like really easily. If you want to play with just your friends, you can buy a VIP server with Robux. Robux is the money you can buy with real money to get cool stuff in the game. It's not too expensive, but it's not too cheap either.
Most of the people who play Roblox are really nice and just want to have fun. But some people are really mean and bully other players. It's a big problem and nobody seems to care. Some people even make fun of new players and say things like "You can't do anything if I'm mean to you. Nobody ever does anything when people get reported." It's really not cool.
The filter on Roblox is kind of weird. Sometimes it blocks words that aren't even bad, like "cat." But other times, it doesn't block bad words at all. And the filter is different in every game, so you never know what you can say.
Some players who have been playing for a long time are really mean to new players. They don't want to help them or be friends with them. And some new players just expect other people to give them stuff for free. That's not fair to the people who worked hard to get their stuff.
There are also a lot of spammers on Roblox. They trick little kids into going to fake websites that promise free Robux, but really just steal their passwords. It's really scary and nobody seems to be doing anything about it.
And finally, some game creators are really annoying. They keep asking you to buy stuff or donate Robux. It's really distracting and takes away from the game. But they can do whatever they want because they made the game.
Overall, Roblox is a really fun website, but it could be better. If there were more people in charge who could stop bullies and spammers, and if game creators couldn't be so annoying, it would be a lot more fun.
Roblox Review: A Soulless Platform That Prioritizes Profit Over Users and Developers
Roblox is a popular online gaming platform that has been around for quite some time now. However, it seems that the company has lost its way in recent years. The support that Roblox offers is terrible, to say the least. Anyone who has had to deal with their customer support knows how scripted and unhelpful their responses can be. It's a shame that a company of this size and popularity can't seem to get their act together when it comes to customer service.
Back in the day, Roblox used to be a lot more human and less robotic. Moderators would actually listen to player feedback and take it into consideration. However, it seems that those days are long gone. Nowadays, the focus is on making money, and it shows. Nearly every update that Roblox puts out is geared towards making more money, rather than improving the user experience.
It's especially frustrating for developers who are trying to create quality games on the platform. Roblox seems to be more interested in making money than supporting their developers. It's a shame because there are some truly talented developers on the platform who are trying to create unique and engaging games.
The marketing and advertising for Roblox are also misleading. They show anthro characters in their ads, even though nobody in the community uses them. It's clear that Roblox is disconnected from their community and doesn't really care about what their users want.
To make matters worse, Roblox terminated one of my accounts under suspicion that it was compromised. Despite providing as much proof as I could, I still got the same scripted response and a vague rejection. It's frustrating to see a company that used to be so great turn into something that is only focused on making more money.
In conclusion, I would not recommend Roblox to anyone. It's a soulless platform that doesn't appreciate its users or developers. If you're looking for a fun and engaging gaming experience, there are plenty of other options out there that are much better than Roblox.
Roblox Review: Fun but Dangerous for Kids - Parental Caution Advised
Hey there, I wanted to share my experience with Roblox and what I've heard from others. I've been playing Roblox for a few years now and it's been a fun experience overall. It's like an enhanced version of Minecraft where you can chat, reset, and run around. I really enjoyed those early days.
However, there have been some issues that have come up. One time, I was so into the game that I started playing it at school. My brother also started playing and we had a good time together. But then we discovered a game called "Lion Roleplay" where you could jump on the backs of other players. It was fun at first, but then I started seeing people using code words for curse words. For example, "faq" could mean the f-word. I reported it to Roblox HQ, but their response seemed automated and not very helpful.
Reporting on Roblox never seems to work. You send in a report, but then nothing happens. It's frustrating because there are some dangerous things happening on the site. For example, my younger sibling learned the term "stickup" from a game called "Work at a Pizza Place!" which is uncopylocked, meaning there are thousands of similar games out there. It's concerning that Roblox may be more for online dangers than against them.
It's also frustrating that many game concepts on Roblox seem to be copied and there's a lot of hypocrisy with their "Powering Imagination" slogan. It feels like they're more interested in making money than caring about their users.
If you're a parent and your child wants to make a Roblox account, I would suggest calmly explaining the dangers of the site for their age range (1-14) and blocking it. If your child already has an account, you can still block it and show them alternatives like Minecraft or Animal Jam. Just be careful with Movie Star Planet as it may not be appropriate.
Overall, I would caution against letting your children play Roblox. With 400,000 users, it's one of the worst things the internet has to offer with exposure to dating, profanity, and sex. It's better to be safe than sorry.
Roblox's Customer Support Needs Improvement: A Frustrating Experience
Roblox is an amazing game that I have loved since I was a little kid. I think almost anyone who plays Roblox would agree with me on this. However, I recently had an issue with Roblox that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed.
I had a monthly paid account that I had spent a lot of money on and had for a long time. I made a simple audio that was completely censored and didn't violate Roblox's terms of service. However, out of nowhere, my account was terminated. When I contacted customer support, I had to wait a week and a half for the first response. They told me that my account was correctly terminated and that I needed to read the rules.
I read the rules and compared them to my audio, but I saw nothing wrong with it. So I emailed them back and asked them to give my appeal another look. After waiting for 3 days, a different person responded and asked me to fill out a form with my user name, ban description, link to asset, and copy of audio file. I filled it all out and sent it to them, but had to wait another 3-5 days for a response.
When I finally got a response, it was from a different person who told me to stop emailing them so many times and that my appeal would not be changed because it was already denied. I was frustrated because I had no idea that my appeal had been denied. In the email from when they said that my appeal would be looked at closer, it said they would update me when my appeal was looked at again.
I complained about their lack of effort in trying to help me with my problem and continued to say how many people are allowed to break TOS on Roblox today and get away with it but I can't make a simple audio that is completely censored in every way? I then got an email in the same day (for the first time ever), again from a different person saying basically the same exact thing the last person did.
Dealing with Roblox's customer support has been a nightmare for me. I have been through this horrible customer support tens of times, like when my account got hacked and I emailed them from the parent email (before it was a 13 account) and they said that I needed to contact them through the parent email, which I already was. I was locked out of my account for 3 years and then finally when it was a 13 account I was able to get back in after just one simple email that took them almost an entire month to respond to.
Despite all of this, I still love the creativity of the people that play this game and make games in Roblox. I would love to see Roblox thrive and be a top competitor in all of games, but I feel like they have taken the game from a decent game for everyone, to a baby game that you have to revolve your life around the worst possible customer support and company you can ever imagine.
Roblox's customer support is slower than any company I have ever dealt with. It is almost as if I am talking to a robot/repeated message when trying to resolve my problem with someone. Rather than it being just one person, it is a different person each time they respond to my email, confusing themselves and making it even worse of an issue.
In conclusion, Roblox is a great game, but their customer support needs a lot of work. If they can improve their customer support, I believe that they can become a top competitor in the gaming industry.
Roblox Review: Bad Netcode, Toxic Community, and Personal Information Required for Basic Features
This platform is not the best when it comes to good content. The developers seem to be behind other platforms by about 10 years. For example, the mech molding feature has been in video games since the early 2000s, but it was only added to Roblox in [protected]. The netcode is also terrible. Even though I play on 100 ping, which is a dream to many Roblox players, it shouldn't be the case. When I play games on other platforms, I get 100 ping from across the world, but on Roblox, I get 100 ping in my own region. The netcode also tends to lag much more than any other game, and lag spikes are way too frequent. This really ruins the experience.
Roblox is also catering to an older audience. Instead of catering to 12-year-olds, they are now catering to 13-year-olds. They now ask for your personal information so you can use voice chat. While I don't care what they do with my personal information, I find it odd that a platform requires you to just hand over your personal information, while on any other platform, you can just voice chat for free. The platform also has a fairly toxic community. If you slightly get on someone's nerves, they do everything in their power to spite you. And because most of the community is fairly young, it is very easy to get on someone's nerves.
Roblox has very few upsides. Those being it's really easy to access, free to play (for the most part), and quite easy to access. That is until you get banned by the moderation team in India that is getting paid $3 an hour because you said "Hi, how are ya." because it is somehow sexting. And making alt accounts is against ToS.
Roblox's biggest issues are: bad netcode, developer viability, taking your personal information for a basic feature, bad moderation, bad community, and finally, bad netcode. There are probably more issues to be listed, and I only wrote this off the top of my head.
If you haven't already tried Roblox, you're good. Don't try it. It's horrible. If you have, look for other games to play. If you can, then the best thing you can do is don't take the games you play seriously. As in don't spend over 4 hours in a game that's probably a spinoff of another game outside of Roblox. Your time on the platform is, unfortunately, best spent in socializing games, but the communities over there have LARGE issues.
Roblox Review: Terrible Customer Service and Moderation, Not Safe for Kids
Roblox is a game that has been around for a while now, and it has its fair share of issues. One of the biggest problems with this game is the customer service. If you have any issues with your account, good luck getting any help from their customer service team. I have been locked out of my account for almost a year now, and I have been messaging them every week to try and get it back. All I ever get is an automated message telling me that they haven't even seen my email. It is extremely frustrating, and it feels like they don't care about their users at all.
Another issue with Roblox is the constant harassment and bullying that goes on in the game. It seems like every game you play, there is someone who is going to discriminate against another player. The moderation team for this game is terrible, and the report button seems like it is there just for show. I have reported players multiple times, and nothing ever happens. On the other hand, some accounts get deleted for no reason at all. It is a mess, and it is not a safe place for kids to play.
If you are looking for a good game for your kids to play online, I would not recommend Roblox. The customer service is terrible, and the moderation is even worse. However, if you want to see all of this for yourself, go ahead. Just be prepared for a train wreck.
Roblox Review: Great Games and Community, but Poor Moderation and Greedy Practices
Roblox is a popular online gaming platform that has been around for quite some time now. It is a free-to-play game that allows players to create their own games and play games created by other players. However, the platform has received mixed reviews from its users, with some praising it for its great games and community, while others criticize it for its poor moderation and greedy practices.
One of the major issues with Roblox is its moderation. The platform has been plagued with scam links that use bots to advertise their websites and scam little kids off of their personal data or waste their time with sponsors. The moderation team is also nonexistent, and they use bot moderators who ban users for saying certain words or phrases. The chat filter is also terrible, as it tags every single number and word you try to say. Additionally, there are sex games on the platform, which is inappropriate for a kids' game. The moderation team has failed to address this issue, and it has become a major concern for parents.
Despite these issues, Roblox has many great games and a maybe good community. There are many types of games, such as shooter games, tycoons, simulators, hangouts, cafe games, and more. Depending on what you like, you might want to play these. Some are really amazing and are on the "Discovery page," while others are amazing but were left in the storage room. There are also toxic kids and helpful people on the platform, so it's important to be careful and mindful of who you interact with.
If you want a real community chatting experience, it's best to go to Discord. However, if you're under 13, you're banned from Discord servers and can't access them because the server owner/mods reported you. Discord misunderstood COPPA and their policies, which require parental consent and data collection at all times, so they instructed servers to ban anyone under the age of 13.
In conclusion, Roblox is a mid-level platform in terms of community and the company itself. While it has many great games and a decent community, it also has poor moderation and greedy practices. It's important to be careful and mindful of who you interact with on the platform and to use other resources, such as Discord, for a better chatting experience.
Unfairly Banned from Roblox: A Warning to Paying Customers and Developers
I used to be a huge fan of Roblox back in the day. I spent countless hours playing and even more money on the game. I was a seasoned player, having been on the platform for over 3-4 years. I knew all the rules, or at least the important ones. I was even trying to develop my own game at the time, using uncopylocked games to examine and expand on the coding they used and to get map ideas.
I spent a ton of Robux on the game, and even after an unfortunate event occurred, I still had a few thousand left. I took a break from developing and played some games on Roblox for a day to rest. When I returned to my development, I spent days creating a high-poly gun model, which was the first proper gun I had ever made. Finally, I equipped it in my inventory and went to log onto the game, only to find out that I had been banned.
I was banned for no good reason, at least not in my case. I tried to appeal, but the Roblox appeals department denied my request. They claimed that I had put inappropriate content in my games, which was simply not true. I only had a few games available for everyone to play, and all of them were my broken games, so there was no way that could be the reason. I never received any warnings to remove or delete the inappropriate content, and they couldn't even state which game it was. If I had received a warning, I would have removed it immediately. I had been developing for a whole week, so I would have seen it if they had sent me an email. It's pretty clear that Roblox has their ways of seeing that.
I was a paying customer at the time, and I thought they would at least give me a chance to fully explain myself. But they didn't even allow me to do that. Their customer service department for appeals is terrible. They simply stated my offense after my appeal and didn't even bother to listen to my side of the story. They didn't care that I had been coding for months and creating models for years. They didn't care that I had spent even more money on the game. They just banned me without any valid reason.
I urge people, especially young children, not to spend too much money on a game like this. You won't be treated well or fairly, and it will be insanely hard for you to come up with an argument against their decisions. Watch out for uncopylocked games, as they could get you banned, like me. It's a shame that Roblox has such terrible customer service, but that's just the way it is. My account name was Kenko15, and I hope that others can learn from my experience.
Roblox Review: A Game Full of Problems and Scams
Roblox is a game that has been around for a while now, and it has its fair share of problems. For starters, the price of Robux is ridiculous. It costs $1 for 100 Robux, which is already expensive, but then Robux ends up being worth more than most currencies? What is up with that? And don't even get me started on Builders Club. Roblox makes players believe that Builders Club is 'cool,' but it's really just a way for them to make more money.
Another issue with Roblox is the bullying. If you don't spend money on Roblox, people on the game will call you a 'noob.' The definition of a noob is a new person, not an ugly one! And the grammar on the game is just terrible. You will find lots of children with horrible grammar on the game, saying things like "Your under arest" and "Buagatti is trach."
The safechat is also a problem. It makes sense to block some things, but blocking every number? Really, Roblox? And the rigged Bloxy Awards are just sad. EthanGamerTV being nominated for best livestreamer when he doesn't even livestream? Many tiny YouTubers being nominated for being the best channel, skipping out on channels such as Denis and PewDiePie.
People are always asking for robux because it's so expensive. You will always find people begging for it on group walls, saying things like "rubox plz" and "Can I have (100) robux?" And botting on groups and users is just wrong. Out of the about 440,000,000 accounts on Roblox, only 20,000,000 are active.
There are also a lot of copied games on Roblox. 5/10 of games have been copied, either with a copylock or without. And the clickbaited games are just terrible. They are sponsored and have terrible reviews, but Roblox does nothing to end these.
The removal of TIX was also a bad move. TIX was an easy way for Robloxians to get currency, until ROBLOX DELETED IT. And the removal of lifetime BC/TBC/OBC just means more money for Roblox.
Scams are also a big problem on Roblox. I find about 10,000 new games on Roblox that have to do something with scamming the pants off of Robloxians. And online dating is just wrong. About 1/10 of Robloxians have online dated, and about 1/*** of Robloxians are pedophiles or child predators. 1/*** of online daters are banned.
Reporting does not work, and Robloxians judge a lot. Bullying is an example, and social experiments also conclude on this. The treatment of guests is also a problem. Roblox has tried to remove guests 3 times already, but Robloxians have stopped it from happening 3 times.
Roblox's community is full of children who cannot even spell right. Roblox should teach grammar lessons! And the 'hackers' are just another way of scamming people. Clickbait YouTubers that never get punished are also a problem.
Bribery is also a problem. Roblox removes games whenever people tell Roblox they will pay to remove the game of their choice. And the addition of humans to a blocky game is just ridiculous.
Robloxians have no voice in what happens to Roblox, and Roblox chooses which games are popular. Roblox does not listen to petitions, and Meep City is just a mess. Roblox will attack YouTubers who help Robloxians with free robux, and Roblox is fascist.
Outrageously priced clothing and expensive gamepasses are also a problem. One gamepass to get admins is 20,000 robux, which is the equivalent of $200. And Roblox doesn't care about terrible reviews.
In conclusion, Roblox has too many issues and does not care about anything except making money. They get serious money off of scamming, and it's just sad. Micromanaging games are popular because people like to feel in control. But to those who play Roblox, I say this: Stop it. Get some help.

I have tried raising multiple appeals and sending multiple emails to Roblox Support but I have not received any useful response other than the automated message please kindly look into this problem and try to fix it at the earliest. For further assistance please contact me via email, my email is "[protected]@gmail.com"

Not receiving credit after activating 2 gift cards
Username is bunderuk
2 gift cards were bought and 9th of May 2023 and activated the following day but never got the credit to purchase something in the game. First there was a notification that my child needs permission, ton which in replied that I do give permission. After that second notification came stating account and currency issues. We have never ever had this problem as being customers for many years. After about 20 emails customer support replied that cards have been redeemed. When I asked what has been purchased with the credit, nobody answered any more. Unbelievable! Can someone solve this problem? Must not be so difficult to credit the account with Roblox for 20 euro. But the way customer service/billing department treats me as a customer, leaving me without an answer to my questions is really disturbing. How can I make a complaint about that too?
Desired outcome: Please credit the account of bunderuk with the equivalent of 20 euros of Roblox.

My son's money back 10.00
I bought my son a 10$ Roblox card from Walgreens in December 22 and it keeps saying invalid pin, they asked for receipt and picture of card, I have done that numerous times, they keep asking for the same thing over and over I have sent the info over 10 times, they have a phone number but refuse to answer anybody, so now I have a fake Roblox card that doesn't work and they have my son's money, I have contacted the FTC, all I want is my son's money back, everyday they ask for the same info over and over, hopefully they will shut them down, taking advantage of kids
