This company is so bad, don't even bother
This company is so bad, don't even bother. My fam and I just got a new place and our furnace stopped working after only two weeks. We called Rush Heating & Cooling through our home warranty and JC came out to check it. He straight up lied to us and the warranty company. We tried to talk to Rush about it and their boss, ***, straight up called us liars and hung up on us. They told the warranty company that the furnace was already messed up before we moved in, but we had proof that it was working fine before. They just didn't wanna hear it. If I could give them zero stars, I would. They're shady AF and I'm not the only one who thinks so.

I got a furnace that ain't makin' no heat and my home warranty company, American Shield, sent Rush Heating and Cooling to fix it. They said my thermostat was workin' fine even though I couldn't adjust the heat. They also said they had to replace the motherboard, so they took apart the furnace and took the board with 'em. They came back and said the problem was fixed, but my house was still cold and couldn't warm up. They came a third time and tried to sell me a new furnace for my garage, sayin' the one in the house was workin' great and I could get a new one for $3500. Right now, my house is at 59 degrees and the furnace only heats up for 5 minutes at a time, never goin' above 64 degrees. When I checked my furnace room this mornin', I saw that they left the furnace open with the door on the floor and the part they were supposed to replace sittin' on top of the furnace. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with and I think they're just a bunch of scammers. Don't ever call 'em for service, you'll be disappointed and cold like me. I wish I could give 'em zero stars.
Rush Heating and Cooling was assigned to us by our home warranty company when we needed to have our AC system replaced. From the start their office staff was communicative and pleasant. Within a day of someone coming out to look at our old system they scheduled a time to come later in the week to do the work. They gave us a 2 hour window in which they would arrive. The tech called when they were about 15 minutes out and arrived well within that 2 hour window. The installation was very professional. Everyone from top to bottom was pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend.
If I could give a rating of ZERO stars, I would. The company itself lacks leadership and fails to put the customer's needs first. After a series of rescheduling and lack of communication, 2 weeks into the process the AC unit still remains inoperable. Jackie and Rebecca are totally unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to anyone in need of servicing. Please avoid RUSH at all costs... you will be disappointed on multiple fronts.

This company is so bad. They came to our house because we had a leak between the *** and the furnace. We told them about the leak before they came, but the first guy didn't have the stuff to test it. So we had to make another appointment. The next time they came, they said they couldn't find the leak, so we had to make another appointment. The third time they came, they said there was a leak, but they needed to send someone else. The fourth time the boss came and said we needed to replace the whole line and it would cost a lot of money. They were always late and didn't tell us. They never sent the report to the home warranty company. We had to call them a lot and leave messages. They said they couldn't do it and we had to start over. This company is a joke. Don't use them. They work out of a garage.

This company is bad and scammed me out of $400. My home warranty company sent them to fix my AC unit. They said they would come between 8am-5pm on Thursday, but called at 2pm and said they would come in 40 minutes. I had to rush home. They checked for leaks and put in some fluid. They said they couldn't come back until Tuesday. On Tuesday, they said my system didn't have enough coolant and charged me $400 for 4 pounds. They said it would last 30 days, but it only lasted 20. They came back and said my whole system needed to be replaced and I should talk to my home warranty company. Rush won't give me my money back and said they would include coolant if I use them for the replacement. I don't trust them and told my home warranty company to find someone else. This is bad because I have a dog and we need fans to stay cool. I had to take my dog to other homes when it's hot.

I was havin problems with my furnace shuttin off and stayin completely off for days at a time. It took 4 technicians to come out and NONE of them could figure out what it was. They all said somethin different. *** came out twice, he was only here for 10 to 15 minutes each time. First he said there was dust and he had to blow it out. The second time he said the flame sensor had dust (again)! The third time a tech came out and said he was "the owner of the company". He said he needed to replace two parts (which he did) and obviously were probably NOT NEEDED since I continued to have the same problem the very same day he came out. Then, *** came for the 5th time and TOTALLY LIED about the diagnostic he gave. HE WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL takin about his personal life and reported back to the company an issue that I was not even havin! I called the office and tried to speak to a manager and the lady on the phone told me she was the manager. She would not let me speak to "the owner" who had gone to my house a few days prior. SHE WAS ALSO VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! She told me she would suggest callin another company to get a second opinion if I didn't agree with their diagnostic. I ended up CANCELLING MY CONTRACT WITH AMERICAN HOME SHIELD and had a friend who knows what he's doin fixed my furnace and did not charge me anything. Rush Heating wanted to charge me $500 dollars to move my thermostat because according to the tech, it was too close to the furnace and that is what was causin the problem. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL!

I was so excited to get service from Rush Heating and Cooling Inc. since they have a high rating. I set the appointment for a 3-hour window from *** p.m. But, I didn't hear from the Company at 12:30 p.m. I tried calling and left multiple voicemail messages and even texted to find out what time they would be arriving with no response. Since they had been assigned by my ***, I reached out to them who also couldn't reach the Company. Finally, at 1:23 p.m., I received a text with no apology or explanation stating they would be arriving between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. I called back, and someone would pick up and hang up for about four calls. Finally, I spoke to someone who stated they were behind and put me on hold to determine an arrival time by the tech. I was told the tech was behind and would arrive closer to 4:15 p.m. I immediately questioned the business approach of the Company and explained this is not an acceptable business/client relationship. I shouldn't have had to continue to contact them to find out when someone would be arriving at my home, and I found this to be very unprofessional. At 4:00 p.m., I received a call from another Company who stated RUSH had canceled my appointment and referred it to them (without letting me know they were not coming out). The first available date for this Company was not until three days later. Sorry, but I can't recommend RUSH - they may provide great service - but part of that has to be having a proper *** protocol - which they don't. Had they contacted me without my having to continue reaching out to them, I would not have been happy perhaps - but would have been more understanding than what actually occurred. A Company that does not have a proper business, customer service protocol is not one I will ever want to do business with - That's A Fact!

Our home warranty company assigned Rush Heating & Cooling to our claim. They came out and diagnosed the issue and gave multiple options to try to save us money all the way through full replacement. We settled for middle option that cost us more but was not a band-aid on the bigger problem. The initial problem was fixed promptly and then we had a second issue with our system. I was impressed that the technician was willing and able to come out on a holiday weekend to troubleshoot and make recommendations. Within a couple of days we are cooling off nicely! Thank You

Rush Heating & Cooling has to be the least professional contractor I have EVER worked with. I can not express with stars how low I would rate them. We were sent to Rush Heating & Cooling by our home warranty company American Shield for an issue with our central air system. They came out and topped off our unit with more freon, but warned us that we might need to replace the system if we experienced the same issue again. Fast forward to this May, when we experience the same problem. We called Rush Heating & Cooling to come out and quote the new system. Our unit is on the roof and would require new line sets be ran, thus roof penetrations would be required. We were billed extra for their roofer to make the penetrations. Our roofer came out the next day to inspect the roof work performed by Rush's roofer, only to find out that it was done wrong and needed to be fixed. Our roofing company fixed the mistake as well as the roof damages that were gifted to us by Rush's techs who dragged our AC unit across the roof (mind you, this is a $60k membrane roof and very expensive to repair). Rush came back out the next day to finish the install, to which we find out that the line set hole was put in the wrong place. The job was postponed another day, and we had our roofer come back out on a Saturday to patch the hole and install a new one which allowed Rush to finish the job. There are now $2,800 in damages and repairs to the roof that Rush is liable for. They reluctantly verbally agreed to pay the roofing invoice, which is slightly more than our HVAC install balance. Since they agreed to pay this invoice I have called over 20 times, emailed, texted, and can not get someone on the phone that is willing to help me. Actually, other than the 3 times I got an answer on the phone, they have been sending my calls to voice mail. I have even gone as far as to call American Home Shield (our warranty company) to have them call...which they answered the call because it was not my number but then gave the same BS response as 3 weeks before. "they are out of the office, I can't help"). We are also having issues with the system, but we can not get ahold of anyone from the company to honor the warranty and send a tech out. DO NOT HIRE RUSH HEATING AND COOLING!
