Don't use this company!
Don't use this company! They messed up my sofa, can't reach them, called so many times! No stars!
Terrible
Terrible. It didn't look much better right after cleaning but we thought maybe once it was completely dry, it would. It looks almost the same after spending $***. Stains resurfacing and dingy looking. Absolutely would never use again.
Very happy with my experience and the work that Charles done
Very happy with my experience and the work that Charles done. I was able to get an appointment the day after I called which was great because the other company I called couldn't get to me until after my company was leaving. The carpets feel softer than when they were new and look great!
I got a quote over the phone for $** to clean a 14 x 15' bedroom
I got a quote over the phone for $*** to clean a 14 x 15' bedroom. They said there might be an extra fee for pet stains. I wasn't there when the carpet cleaner arrived, so my daughter let them in. They ended up charging $*** for the job. On top of that, the cleaner left footprints and equipment marks on our hardwood floors. I'm gonna report this company to the ComplaintsBoard.com and dispute the charge. I tried calling to talk to a manager, but nobody has gotten back to me.
Don't use this company!
Don't use this company! I'm so mad at them. I had an appointment, but they canceled it last minute because the tech had an emergency. I rescheduled for today, but they didn't show up or call. I even prepared my house for them. They said the tech was sick. Then they wanted me to schedule for next week, but when I asked to talk to a manager, they put me on hold for over 5 minutes and said the manager wasn't there. This is not how you run a business! Don't use this company!
This company I dealt with was really unprofessional and unpleasant
This company I dealt with was really unprofessional and unpleasant. The technician who came to my house didn't wear a mask and didn't bother to take off his shoes as he walked through my grass and into my house. He even had the audacity to ask if he could use my electricity for his work. He was terrible and had a rude attitude, spending most of his time talking on his phone. I paid $689.76 for him to clean 3 rooms, a hallway, and 17 steps. The cleaning of my bedroom alone cost $207.99, and they didn't even move any furniture. It's clear that he was just making up prices as he went along. To make matters worse, he brought in a carpet buffer from 1966 to clean my carpets. He started upstairs and, believe it or not, just three minutes later he asked me how it looked! It was absolutely terrible, and he actually made it worse. He lied about cleaning the entire area, and half of the carpet was still dirty. I told him to get the hell out of my home. This company should definitely go out of business.
I had an appointment scheduled with Safe-Dry Carpet Cleaning, and they sent Michael to my house
I had an appointment scheduled with Safe-Dry Carpet Cleaning, and they sent Michael to my house. Unfortunately, I didn't have the money at that time, so I had to reschedule for the following Friday when I got paid. I specifically asked for the same person, but they sent someone new without informing me. When I came home on that Friday, I found him in the living room, and he did a decent job there. However, when I checked the 3 bedrooms and hallway, I noticed there were still stains and missed spots. I asked him to come back and finish the job, but when I went to the restroom and came out, he had already left. The next day, I spoke to a manager and reluctantly agreed to have them redo what Zachary didn't finish. This time, Michael came, but he refused to do anything because I wasn't there. Both of my sons were present, and my oldest knew what needed to be done. Now, they have taken my money, and I can't get a call back from them. I called on Tuesday and Wednesday, but still no response. My carpet is still dirty, and I believe they don't deserve any stars. I want a refund.
No stars
No stars. I told my clients about this company, but they really messed up the job. They charged my clients way more than we agreed on for services they didn't even finish. They wanted payment before they would come back to complete the job. They came back three times, but still didn't finish. They didn't clean the grout in the tile at all and didn't finish stretching the carpet. They used thick, messy products on the floor that left them sticky and with a residue. They even used an acid product on the marble floors, which removed the finish and made them look dull. My clients paid them a lot of money for nothing but trouble and damage. I was trying to get the house ready for an open house, so I had to call another company to fix everything. They did a great job and charged much less. We've called Safe Dry many times, but they haven't responded. I want my clients to get their money back, and I'll tell them to take legal action if necessary.
I scheduled a $**** bedroom cleaning as advertised online
I scheduled a $*** bedroom cleaning as advertised online. A technician came on October 7th and after inspecting, he quoted $***. He was professional and polite, but my carpets weren't clean. I told him this, and he said to wait for them to dry. If they still looked dirty, I could schedule a second cleaning for free. So, I scheduled another cleaning for Saturday the 23rd. However, they didn't call, show up, or send any messages. I called the provided number, and they said the manager would contact me. But I never heard from them. On Monday morning, I called again and spoke to someone who claimed to be a manager. He said they didn't want to send another inexperienced person to my house on Saturday, so they failed to communicate at all. He offered to have someone waiting to properly clean my carpets when I got home from work. The technician who came was also new and said he had only been working for a few weeks. He only cleaned one room instead of the three, and used a handheld device to clean two spots. I've tried reaching out, but they keep saying the manager isn't available and will contact me. My carpets are still dirty, and I want a full refund!

I got an online quote for 7 rooms and a hallway
I got an online quote for 7 rooms and a hallway. But when the technician arrived, they quoted me $1200. The online special clearly stated $88 for 3 rooms. I had 7 rooms, and they wanted me to pay $1200. It felt like a bait and switch tactic. They were aware that I was in a hurry and couldn't find another option.
On April 10, this guy named Zach came to clean my carpets in two bedrooms
On April 10, this guy named Zach came to clean my carpets in two bedrooms. He only did half the job and then took off with two of my rugs, saying he would bring them back on Monday, April 12. But guess what? He never showed up! I had to make a bunch of phone calls to the company, and all they did was make empty promises about returning my rugs and giving me a $50 refund. They kept coming up with lame excuses and never followed through. I'm really ticked off and just want my money back in full and my two rugs that Zach swiped from my house. I paid $88.00 for a three-bedroom cleaning and an extra clean for my rugs, but this dude didn't act professional at all. He was late and didn't give a damn about me as a customer.
I got my carpets cleaned on 8/10
I got my carpets cleaned on 8/10. I had all the furniture taken out before the technician arrived. The technician showed up more than two hours late, charged me way more than what I was told, and the results aren't great. I paid upfront, but no invoice was given to me. I don't know how the technician calculated the cost of the service. I've left multiple messages with *** to talk to a supervisor. They keep saying that a *** will call me back. They say there are some management changes causing the long wait.

I feel like I got taken advantage of by this company
I feel like I got taken advantage of by this company. They said they would clean 3 rooms for $88, so I asked them to also clean the master bedroom. They then told me it would cost $150 - $160. But when the technician arrived, they quoted me $550 for 3 rooms and the master bedroom. This was not what they advertised, and it felt very deceptive, like a classic bait and switch scheme. I could understand if it was $20 or $30 more for pet stains, but this was over three times the original cost I was quoted. I will never do business with them again and will file a complaint with the ComplaintsBoard.com. So I asked the technician to only clean one of the smaller bedrooms that had pet stains, and they charged me $185. That's more than twice the amount of the 3 for $88 package. It feels like a total scheme. I paid $185 for 1 room when their ad said $88 for 3 rooms. I want a refund for the difference.
I had an appointment on 5/12 (I think)
I had an appointment on 5/12 (I think). The guy was like an hour late. When he finally showed up, he didn't even have the stuff he needed to clean our carpet, even though that's what they're supposed to do. The price they gave us was alright, so my wife paid in advance and they said we'd get an appointment on 5/17. They cashed the check right away and it showed up in my bank account on 5/12. They told us they'd come between 8 AM and 10 AM. But at 10:15 AM, they called and said they couldn't make it and we should reschedule for later in the week. That's when I decided to cancel and asked the manager to call me. He said they'd send a check on 5/19. It's been like a week and a half now, and I still haven't gotten the refund. I called this morning to check on it, and the lady who answered took my info and said the manager would call me right back. But I haven't heard anything, and honestly, I don't think I'll ever get my money back.
I paid for a carpet cleaning service and the employee came on October 5th
I paid for a carpet cleaning service and the employee came on October 5th. When he finished, I noticed that the carpet barely looked vacuumed, let alone cleaned. I pointed out four small spots that he touched up, but they still remained. So, I decided to pay and contact the office to send a new technician. I paid $133 for the service. The new technician arrived, and I explained the situation to him. He agreed that the carpet didn't look cleaned. I asked if he could do it, but he said they only loosen up the carpet and don't actually clean it. I mentioned that the website says something completely different, and he agreed with me. I then requested a refund. He went to his car and called the managers, who were supposedly in a conference in Alabama. He said they would call me the next day to collect my information for the refund. Four days later, I called to inquire about the refund. A lady told me that she would leave a note for the manager, who wasn't in the office at the time. Two days later, I called again and was directed to the manager's voicemail. All I want is my money back.
tumer service
tumer service. I was frustrated and disappointed with the lack of communication and professionalism from Safe-Dry Carpet Cleaning.
On Thursday, the technician finally arrived to deliver my rug. However, I noticed that it was not cleaned properly. There were still stains and dirt on it, which was very disappointing considering the amount of time I had to wait for it. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the technician, but he seemed uninterested and did not offer any solutions or apologies.
Overall, my experience with Safe-Dry Carpet Cleaning was extremely frustrating. The lack of communication and the poor quality of their service left me feeling unsatisfied. I would not recommend this company to others, as there are surely better options available.
On 8-23-22, I made a booking with Safe-Dry Carpet Cleaning for carpet cleaning in 3 rooms and 1 area rug
On 8-23-22, I made a booking with Safe-Dry Carpet Cleaning for carpet cleaning in 3 rooms and 1 area rug. The advertisement stated a price of $88 for 3 rooms and 450 square feet. I also requested spot cleaning, deodorizing, and flea treatment. On 8-24-22, the technician (JT) came and visually inspected the 3 rooms. He said he would ask his boss outside on his cell phone. When he returned, he quoted us $3,400! I asked him to repeat it, and he did so in front of my son as well. I declined the offer. I asked him if he had a contract with a breakdown of costs and services, as he claimed to be quoting for 800 square feet and additional services. The actual square footage is about 500/550. He said it wasn't necessary and eventually lowered the price to $1,700. I asked if he could just do the regular cleaning, but he said he couldn't. However, because we were nice, he offered to do it for $1,200. I was in a desperate state and despite seeing warning signs, I agreed. He insisted on being paid by check, so I paid with check number 5674 for $1,200. He gave me a receipt/contract that stated I agreed to many things, but I only saw it afterwards and never signed it. I received a survey via text and gave him a good rating for his work. Later, I realized I had been overcharged and decided to contact the company.
On 8-25-22, I left a message for the manager (M?) at ***. I left another message on 8-26-22 and sent an email on 8-29-22 to ***. When I called, someone named J answered but hung up. On 8-29-22, I contacted the corporate office at ***, and the person I spoke to said the manager (M?) was at lunch. On 8-30-22, I called ***/Landline but was hung up on. I sent a text to *** and mentioned the survey I received from them. On 8-31-22, they replied via text that they would forward the message to the manager. On 9-2-22, I texted again stating that I hadn't heard from anyone, and they said they would forward the message again.
On 9-21-22, I filed a complaint with the *** with file number ***. They were contacted but did not respond. This has been my experience with Safe-Dry carpet cleaning. They have used misleading advertisements and engaged in unethical business practices when dealing with seniors. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue privately, they have not responded. That is why I am seeking your help.
This complaint is 'bout Safe-Dry Carpet Cleaning of Greensboro, NC (phone number: XXX-XXX-XXXX)
This complaint is 'bout Safe-Dry Carpet Cleaning of Greensboro, NC (phone number: XXX-XXX-XXXX). I hired Safe-Dry to clean 4 big oriental rugs (worth hundreds of dollars each) owned by my business, Eventful NC. They said it would take 7-10 days to clean 'em. The tech picked up the 4 rugs on 10/28 and I had to pay in full ($374.25) before they cleaned 'em. The company told me the rugs were done and would be dropped off on 11/18 at 5pm. I drove to my business (45 min drive) and waited, but no one showed up. I called the office number and they said there was a computer error and we had to reschedule. We rescheduled for 11/22 at 2pm. I drove to my business on that date, waited, and no one showed up. I called and talked to multiple people before someone said the appointment had been rescheduled for 5:30pm without tellin' me. I sat at the building for 3.5 hours until one of their techs showed up. When he arrived, he told me he didn't have my rugs and they hadn't started cleanin' 'em yet. They didn't even know which rugs in their warehouse were mine. He asked me to text him pictures, sizes, and descriptions of the rugs so they could figure it out and get 'em cleaned. They promised to have 'em cleaned the next day, 11/23. I got the phone number of the local regional manager (***, XXX-XXX-XXXX) from the tech and called and left voicemails with the manager multiple times. Finally, he responded on 11/24. He said the rugs would need to be cleaned multiple times 'cause they were super dirty, and they would be finished by 11/27 at the latest. It's now 12/6 and I still don't have my rugs. I don't even know if they're clean. The manager ain't returnin' my calls or texts. They basically took thousands from me with the $375 fee and the value of my rugs.
Safe Dry Carpet Cleaning of Tennessee messed up our bedroom furniture in December
Safe Dry Carpet Cleaning of Tennessee messed up our bedroom furniture on Dec. 15th, 2020, and won't fix the damage they caused. The company messed up our furniture on 12/15 and it hasn't been fixed after multiple discussions with Safe Dry staff and the Area Manager. On 01/14, two Safe Dry employees failed to clean the damaged furniture. The names of the employees are not disclosed. I informed them about the persistent stains that remained despite our efforts using wood-safe cleaning products. The first employee attempted to clean it with an unspecified solution and by scraping, which was unsuccessful. He mentioned he would return with a colleague who could remove the stains. The colleague claimed that 'Goo-Gone' would work, but it did not. I requested an alternative solution for our damaged furniture. He promised to order a special cleaner. On 02/03, a trainer from Alabama named Thomas tried to clean the furniture with 'Orange Glo', a product we had already deemed ineffective, despite promises of a special cleaner. Thomas, acknowledging his failed attempt, said he would report back to his superiors. On 02/05, we discussed furniture replacement with the company. My fiancé and I, having recently recovered from Covid and with my additional health concerns as a disabled veteran, preferred minimal home visits. The company requested a receipt from Ashley's furniture to consider replacement. Later, we were perplexed by an appointment set with an unknown company to repair the furniture, contradicting previous discussions about replacement. Around 02/09, my fiancé contacted the office manager to reach the General Manager, who was unavailable but promised a callback that never came. We followed up with an email on 02/13 and requested email communication, expecting a response by 2/19. After no contact, we reached out again on 2/16. We received a call from the company, contrary to our request for email correspondence, stating they couldn't replace the furniture. We expressed that mere staining was insufficient. As of 03/11, we have had no resolution from the company. We are frustrated with Safe Dry's handling of the situation and expect them to fulfill their promise to replace the damaged furniture.
