Terrible Experience with Salt Internet Provider in Switzerland: Unfair Billing and Poor Customer Service
I recently had an experience with Salt, the internet provider in Switzerland, and it was not a pleasant one. I had to leave the country and decided to resign my internet contract with them. However, they requested that I pay for it until the end, even though the contract stated that in case of leaving the country, there would be no extra fees.
I tried to communicate with them through emails and phone calls, but it seemed like they were not willing to cooperate. They claimed that they never received the internet box back, which was not true because I sent it by registered letter. They insisted that I had to pay the bill, which was not fair.
I was frustrated and decided to seek legal advice. I spoke to my legal insurance, and they told me that what Salt was trying to do was not legal. They advised me not to pay the bill, and I followed their advice.
Overall, my experience with Salt was terrible, and I would not recommend them to anyone. Their customer service was not helpful, and they were not willing to listen to my concerns. I am glad that I had legal insurance to help me navigate this situation, but it was still a stressful experience.
In conclusion, if you are looking for an internet provider in Switzerland, I would suggest looking elsewhere. There are many other options available, and I am sure that you can find one that will provide better service than Salt.
Salt: A Nightmare of a Service Provider - A Review
Oh my goodness, I don't even know where to start with Salt! Let me tell you, I have never regretted anything more in my life than switching to them. It's been a whole year since I made the switch, and let me tell you, it's been a complete nightmare. At first, they lured me in with their so-called "cheap" offer, but as soon as I signed the contract, everything went downhill from there.
Every single little thing that goes wrong with my service, they try to squeeze more money out of me. Even when it's their own mistake, they still try to charge me for it! And don't even get me started on their network and customer service. It's just plain shiiiity. I mean, I've had better service from a potato.
Honestly, I wish I had never left Sunrise. I can't wait for my contract to be up so I can switch back. Salt, you guys are just a bunch of vampires sucking the life out of your customers. Go to hell!
Terrible Service and Scamming Practices: My Experience with Salt
Salt is a company that I would not recommend to anyone. They have a tendency to add extra charges to your bill without any explanation. The customer care representatives are not helpful at all and seem to have no connection to the managers. I once asked for the manager's number and was told that they couldn't find it. Can you believe that?
To make matters worse, they scammed me out of 500 CHF in extra charges and fees, even though I already had the most expensive plan. When I asked for a refund, they only gave me 50 CHF. That's a joke! I have never been so angry with a cell service provider in my life.
The service itself is also terrible. I have had several occasions where my calls were dropped or the internet was slow. When I called customer care to complain, they were rude and unhelpful.
Overall, I am glad that I switched to a different provider and will never use Salt again. They are a bunch of scumbags who don't care about their customers. Save yourself the trouble and choose a different provider.
Disastrous Experience with Salt: Poor Customer Service and No Network
I recently switched to Salt for my internet and phone services, but I have to say, it's been a complete disaster. I moved into a new apartment two weeks ago and still have no network. I understand that this can happen with any provider, but what really sets Salt apart is their customer service - or lack thereof. It's been an absolute nightmare trying to get any help from them.
I've contacted Salt seven times already, and each time they tell me that I should have network. It's like they don't take me seriously as a person. It's only when I start threatening them that things start to move a bit, but even then, the problem still isn't solved. It's incredibly frustrating.
To make matters worse, apparently you can't set a termination date immediately. Are you kidding me? It's not my problem if they can't guarantee the service I paid for. It's like they're trying to make a complete fool of me.
Honestly, I should have listened to the feedback from my friends. They warned me about Salt, but I didn't listen. Now I'm paying the price. I wouldn't recommend Salt to anyone.
Terrible Customer Service and Unreasonable Fees: My Experience with Salt
So, I signed up with Salt back in November 2019. I'm not from Europe, so I had no clue how to pay my bills online. I tried to log in to the online platform, but I couldn't get in. I wanted to ask a question, but I couldn't do that either. So, I sent them an email asking how to pay my bill, but I never got a response. I finally figured it out the next month, but by then Salt had already cancelled my contract. I was home for the holidays, and when I got back, I couldn't go to the store because of Covid-19. I can't call them either because I don't have service anymore.
Then, I got a bill for around 900 chf for cancelling my contract. I was supposed to pay around 800 chf for the whole two years of my contract, but now I have to pay almost double that amount. This is way too much for me to afford, and I haven't been able to talk to anyone about it. I finally paid the cancellation fee, but it was a huge waste of my time and money. Now, I don't even have a working phone.
Salt Phone Services Review: Easy Sign-Up, Terrible Customer Service, Beware of Hidden Charges
Salt is a company that offers phone services to customers. The process of signing up with Salt is quite easy and their online system works well. As long as you're a customer, there really isn't any issue. However, both my kids had massive phone bills the first few months because of "SMS numbers they apparently signed up to, but didn't remember doing... can't say for sure that it's a Salt issue, but beware...". For normal usage, it's fine... until you want to make a change to a contract. Then, get ready for the WORST customer experience in the world.
The customer service at Salt is terrible. They will do EVERYTHING in their power to not help you and keep milking you as long as they possibly can. Leaving the country on an expat assignment it has taken me over SIX months to get out of the contract. I've been insulted by the rudest help desk person I've ever encountered, hang up on, redirected and put on hold for ever, told one thing, then another, have 25 email exchanges, told I was sent emails I never received, my information requests been closed without answer... and still stuck paying monthly invoices for a phone number I can't use.
I regret leaving Swisscom, and when we move back will never work with this company again. The customer service at Salt is simply unacceptable. It's a shame because their online system works well and signing up is easy. However, when it comes to making changes to your contract or trying to cancel it, you're in for a nightmare. I hope they improve their customer service in the future, but until then, I would advise anyone to stay away from Salt.
SALT Mobile Review: Frustrating Experience with Poor Customer Service and Billing for Lost Phone
I recently had an experience with SALT that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I ordered an iPhone from one of their stores and was told that it would be delivered to me within three business days. However, after two weeks had passed and I still hadn't received my phone, I decided to follow up with SALT.
Unfortunately, the guy who sold me the phone was no help at all. He simply told me to call Swiss Post myself and figure out what had happened to my delivery. I was shocked and disappointed by his lack of concern for my situation.
After calling both SALT customer service and Swiss Post, I learned that my phone had been lost in transit. While this was certainly frustrating, what was even more upsetting was that SALT continued to bill me monthly for a service that I wasn't receiving. They even tried to charge me for the iPhone that never reached me!
To make matters worse, I discovered that I wasn't the only one who had experienced this kind of treatment from SALT. I read a review on TrustPilot from a customer named Melissa Enterich who had also been billed for a phone she never received. It's ridiculous and totally unacceptable, especially in a country like Switzerland.
I believe that cases like these should be reported to the government's customer protection services. It's not fair for companies like SALT to take advantage of their customers in this way.
To add insult to injury, the customer service at SALT was absolutely terrible. They were unhelpful, frustrating, and a complete waste of time. It's no wonder that there are so many bad reviews of SALT mobile out there.
In the end, I learned a painful lesson about trusting companies like SALT. I hope that others can learn from my experience and avoid the same kind of frustration and disappointment that I went through.
Sketchy Company: My Disappointing Experience with Salt's Plans and Customer Service
I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with Salt. I mean, sure, the internet speed is pretty reliable and the reception is decent, but that's about where the positives end. Their plans are just designed to trap you and squeeze as much money out of you as possible. And don't even get me started on their customer service reps - they're basically trained to lie to you and then not take any responsibility for it.
Let me tell you about my experience. I went into one of their branches and asked if my phone from the USA would work with their SIM. They took a look at it and said, "Yeah, it'll work great! Let's sign you up!" So I did - I got the SIM and a 1-year contract. But guess what? The SIM didn't work with my phone. When I asked about it, they just told me to wait and it would connect eventually. Of course, it never did. I complained, but they either pretended not to speak English or acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. I ended up paying for their service for three whole months without even being able to use it, until I finally got a new phone that was compatible with their SIM.
And that's not even the worst part. When I wanted to go back to the States for a couple of months, I asked if I could pause my contract while I was gone. Nope, not possible. So I had to keep paying for a plan that I wasn't even using. It's just messed up how little they care about their customers' satisfaction.
Overall, I'd say Salt is a pretty sketchy company. Sure, the internet is decent, but the whole experience just left a bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Terrible experience with Salt: Unauthorised usage and poor customer service
I recently had a terrible experience with Salt (salt.ch) and I feel the need to share it with others. I ordered a SIM card online, but unfortunately, it never arrived. So, I went to a Salt store and picked up a brand new one. I was excited to start using it, but when I opened my Salt online account, I found a ton of usage that I didn't even recognise. It was worth over CHF 300 and included international calls to countries like India and Sri Lanka. I knew I didn't make those calls, so I contacted Salt customer care.
Unfortunately, the customer care representative I spoke to didn't believe me. They told me that I either made the usage and forgot about it or someone else made calls from my phone. I knew both of those options were not true, but they simply did not listen to my claim that I did not make this usage. For safety reasons, I blocked my SIM card right away.
After several emails back and forth, I finally got a response from Salt admitting they made a mistake and the charges were bogus. I was relieved to hear this, but then I asked them to end my contract right away, which they did not do. I continued to get reminder fees and was finally slapped with termination fees (CHF 200). I had to pay over CHF 600 to a company that did not provide a proper service for even a single day. All services had been suspended, yet I was still charged all manner of other things!
I wish I had read the bad reviews before I decided to go with Salt. I feel like I wasted my time and money on a company that didn't care about their customers. I would advise anyone considering Salt to stay away. It's not worth the hassle and frustration.
Terrible Service and Billing: My Experience with Salt
I gotta say, my experience with Salt was not great. Honestly, I wish I could give them a zero rating. They really let me down in terms of professionalism, service quality, and honesty. Here are some of the issues I faced:
1. Customer service was a nightmare. They were so rude and unhelpful. Every time I called, I was put on hold for at least 30 minutes, only to be hung up on. It was so frustrating and disrespectful.
2. The coverage was terrible. This is something that everyone should know before signing up with Salt. I couldn't even get a signal in my own apartment, on the train, or during job interviews. It was embarrassing to have to explain to potential employers that I couldn't be reached because of my phone service. I had previously used Swisscom, which was great, but I decided to switch to Salt because it was cheaper. Worst decision ever. I regretted it every day until my contract finally ended.
3. The billing was super sketchy. Two months before my contract ended, I went on vacation to Asia and didn't use my phone at all. When I got my bill from Salt, I was charged for 10 minutes of calls that I never made (which cost me an extra 50 CHF). When I called to dispute the charges, they told me that my iPhone must have had a virus that was making calls on its own (even though it was offline). They refused to cancel the charges, even though it wasn't my fault. I later found out that other people had experienced the same issue with Salt. It makes me wonder if they're somehow involved in this "virus" scam.
4. The roaming service was a disaster. I bought a 1GB roaming plan for France, but it only lasted 10 minutes. When I called Salt to ask what happened, they put me on hold for 30 minutes and then told me that there was an IT issue but that I wouldn't be charged. Of course, when I got my bill, I was charged anyway. When I called to complain, they basically told me that it was my fault for placing the order, even though I couldn't use the service.
Overall, I would never recommend Salt to anyone. If you're considering switching to them because they're cheaper, don't do it. You'll only end up with more stress and frustration. Spend a few extra bucks and go with a better network. Salt, shame on you for your terrible service. You'll never beat Swisscom.

Terrible Experience with Salt: Unreliable Service and Terrible Customer Support
Salt is like the worst thing that ever happened to Switzerland. I swear, they're just out to scam people. I mean, seriously, we should all band together and sign a petition to shut them down. I couldn't even use their service for a whole month, and their customer service was just terrible. I had to waste so much of my precious time dealing with those clowns.
But let me back up a bit. So, I signed up for Salt because I thought it would be a good deal. I mean, who doesn't want cheap phone service, right? But boy, was I wrong. From the get-go, I had problems. My phone wouldn't connect to the network, and I couldn't make any calls or send any texts. I tried everything I could think of, but nothing worked.
So, I called up Salt's customer service, and let me tell you, it was a nightmare. First of all, I had to wait on hold for like half an hour before I even got to talk to someone. And when I finally did, they were no help at all. They just kept telling me to try the same things I had already tried. It was like talking to a brick wall.
After a week of this, I finally got fed up and went to one of Salt's stores in person. I thought maybe they could help me out. But nope, they were just as useless as the customer service people on the phone. They told me to wait a few more days and see if it started working on its own. Spoiler alert: it didn't.
So, I called customer service again, and this time I demanded to speak to a manager. And you know what they told me? They said there was nothing they could do, and that I just had to wait until they fixed the problem on their end. I mean, what kind of customer service is that?
Long story short, I ended up switching to a different phone provider, and I couldn't be happier. I would never recommend Salt to anyone, unless you want to waste your time and money.
Salt Internet Review: Slow Speeds and Useless Customer Support
Salt is a company that provides internet services, but I gotta say, I'm not too impressed. They claim to have 4G speed, but let me tell you, it's more like 4G snail pace. I'm lucky if I can get a download speed in KBPS. And don't even bother trying to get help from customer support, because they're about as useful as a screen door on a submarine.
To make matters worse, I'm stuck in a contract with Salt, so I have to pay for this subpar service and there's no way out. It's like being in a bad relationship that you can't escape from. I wouldn't recommend Salt to anyone, unless you enjoy slow internet and terrible customer service.
Disappointing Service and Slow Connection: My Experience with Salt
I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with Salt. I mean, seriously, how are they still in business? I gave them a call to complain about my slow connection and the person on the other end was just plain rude. It's like they didn't even care about my problem. And don't even get me started on the actual connection itself. It's so slow that I can barely open anything. And to top it off, I'm paying a whopping 69 CHF per month for this garbage. Save yourself the trouble and go with a different provider. Salt just isn't worth it.

Salt (salt.ch) Review: Terrible Provider with Extra Charges, Slow Internet, and Useless Customer Service
I'm telling you, Salt (salt.ch) is the worst provider out there. I mean, seriously, I wish I could give them less than one star. They always hit you with these extra charges that make no sense whatsoever. And don't even get me started on their internet service. It's so slow, it's like watching paint dry. And to top it all off, their customer service is a complete joke. They're totally unprofessional and completely useless.
Honestly, I can't think of a single good thing to say about this operator. It's like they're actively trying to make their customers' lives miserable. I mean, come on, Salt, get your act together!
Disappointing 4G Connection and Poor Customer Service from Salt.ch
So, I tried out Salt (salt.ch) and I gotta say, the 4G connection is pretty weak. I mean, it's so bad that I can barely even use my phone. And when I tried to get it fixed or cancel my contract, the technical department took like, forever to get back to me. I'm talking over 2.5 months here, people. That's just ridiculous.
And don't even get me started on the customer service. They were no help at all. All they could say was "wait" and that was it. Like, seriously? I'm paying for a service that doesn't even work and all you can tell me is to wait? That's just not right.
And to top it all off, there's no way to even talk to a director or manager to try and speed up the process. So basically, I'm stuck with a crappy connection and no way to fix it. Not cool, Salt. Not cool at all.
Stay Away from Salt: Dishonest and Unhelpful Customer Service
I gotta tell ya, I ain't too happy with Salt (salt.ch). I been tryin' to finish up my contract with 'em for three whole months now, and let me tell ya, it's been a real pain in the rear. I been followin' all the rules and agreements we made, but Salt keeps comin' up with new rules and regulations every time we talk, just so they can keep chargin' me fees. It's downright dishonest and all they care about is makin' money, not about treatin' their customers right.
I mean, seriously, the folks workin' at Salt ain't got no standards at all. They don't care about helpin' you out or makin' things easy for ya. All they care about is makin' a quick buck, and they'll do whatever it takes to make sure they get it. It's a real shame, 'cause I had high hopes for Salt when I first signed up with 'em. But now, I wouldn't recommend 'em to my worst enemy. Stay away from Salt, folks. Trust me on this one.
Salt Review: Poor Customer Service and Network Coverage
with them. Their customer service is also terrible, they take forever to respond and when they do, they are not helpful at all. I had to call them multiple times just to get a simple answer to my question. It's like they don't care about their customers at all.
Furthermore, their network coverage is not that great. I often have trouble making calls or sending texts in certain areas. It's frustrating when you're trying to communicate with someone and your phone just won't work. I've had to switch to another provider just to have reliable service.
Overall, I would not recommend Salt to anyone. They charge too much for their services and their customer service is terrible. Their network coverage is also not that great. Save yourself the headache and go with another provider.
Disappointing Experience with Salt: Incompetent Employees Cost Me Money
I gotta say, Salt (salt.ch) is not the best company out there. The people working for them are just not up to par. I had a real bad experience with them recently. Two of their employees made some serious mistakes that ended up costing me a ton of money. And let me tell you, I've been all over Switzerland and I've never had to pay for someone else's mistakes like this before. It's just not right.
I'm really disappointed that I chose to go with Salt. I wish I had gone with someone else. I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The people in their shops are just not competent enough to do their jobs properly. It's a shame, really. I had high hopes for this company, but they let me down big time.
Disappointing Service Quality from Salt Mobile: A Review
So, I was really excited to try out Salt (salt.ch) for my mobile service. However, I've been having some major issues lately. Apparently, there was some announcement by a Salt Techie named Adel Liratni that the service would be restored after 6 days of no reception. But, it's now been 7 days and I still haven't been able to use my Salt mobile.
I tried reaching out to their helpdesk, but it takes a really long time to get through to them. And, even when I do, they terminate their surveys before the job is completed. It's really frustrating and makes me feel like Salt is woefully understaffed.
Overall, I'm really disappointed with the service quality from Salt. It seems like they might be lacking the know-how to build their own network. I hope they can improve soon, because I was really looking forward to using their service.
Terrible Experience with Salt: Unresolved Contract, Overcharged Bills, and Poor Customer Service
I had a really bad experience with Salt. I decided to end my contract and leave the country, but when I got back home after 3 months, I received emails from Salt about bills that I had to pay. They didn't cancel my contract and charged me for 3 months, plus they added reminder fees on top of that. Their customer service is really bad and they don't care about their customers at all. Also, their cellular phone is not good and it's not worth the money. Most of the time, I didn't have any cellular service at all.
They have made cancelling my service such a pain. I left the country. I don't owe them for penalty fees or other things - but they keep sending bills. And then they have no way of responding, except calling.
No way to get in contact with Salt even if urgent and their automated directory doesn’t work when calling.
