they took our truck illegally
Santander called us 8-9 times a day constantly all the time. They even went as far as contacting my aunt who had nothing to do with our vehicle stating what was going on. That was against my privacy. Then they took our truck Illegally due to the fact my fiancé is active military. Now we are going through so much to get the truck back. They took it a hour and a half away. They are saying they sent the releases but haven't. Santander told us they would pay for all the bills that are getting charged to us but now wont. They say hold on let me get a manager then I wait on hold for 10 minutes then I get another rep. I'm sick of this company we have made payments yet is saying we barley made any because the interest is so ridiculously high. I had one of them just as upset as me but then did not do what she said she was going to do I really would like help from someone please I've read tons of articles with others who have had problems with them just like me and I would like to know the next steps to take further action anything helps please !

To Whom It May Concern,
You stated in an email to me that you are committed to providing me with the highest quality service and security. How does deactivating my current card end (that has an embedded chip) and reissuing me another debit card (that also has an embedded chip) provide me with a higher level of service and security? It doesn't! It actually provides a lower quality of service because now I have to call all of the merchants that I have automatic payments with. I called your customer service number and they said that there is nothing that they can do for me!

santander auto loan
I was with Alphera and then they switch with Santander. Nothing but hell. Hidden fees, no answer, stealing money, I want out! I never agreed to come to this company and I refuse to pay more then what I originally took my loan out for. Better yet I refuse to pay over what the car is worth.
After carefully searching and seeing what I need to do. I just have to hire a lawyer and sue this company for stealing!

I have a 2016 impala with santander and it has been nothing but a headache.. They repossess my car Friday 61518 starting that I was behind 100 days... I have paper stating my agreement to place one payment at end of loan was approved on March 30th 2018 so there is no way for my vehicle to be 100 days pass due. Furthermore Santander has stated they can't go back to March 30th 2018 to listen to recording of approval. This branch consistently has issues with their slow service. I visit this branch during my lunch, when I arrived on 5/30 I had someone greet me at the door which was fine. I was only there for a Direct Deposit form. I go to the teller line. There's 2 tellers, one looks like she's training the other. I was told twice thanks for waiting we'll be right with you. At this point it goes from just me in line to 2 other people. I wait for nearly 10 minutes just to ask for a deposit form? In the meantime you have a greeter and 3 people in their glass offices not doing anything but staring at screens? A person had to leave because they were taking so long and it was only 2 other people! Today 5/31/18 I'm only going in to inquire about $2 bills, I was told by the same Greeter, yes we have them. Only to again stand in line for a long time until the Greeter comes back and explains the teller who has the bills isn't avail and they need to check the vault. I wait again only to be told I can take down your number and call you. I don't have time to keep going back to your bank to wait in line. I don't have time to be told "we'll be right with you" only for that same person to walk back to their empty office. This is poor customer service. I don't need to be greeted at the door I need banking service which is why I come there. Then when I ask the greeter what branch number is this she's going to make me hold again while she makes a phone call and all she had to do was hand me the bank card and point out the number. I'm extremely disappointed and all I want is this complaint to get to this branch and be acknowledged. Thank You

I have been paying a surcharge as well. I was never told that each day you miss a payment you have to pay a extra payment of $11 a day that you miss. When I purchased my car in the year of 2015 it was $28000 Santander is saying that I owe them $22300 that is a false statement. I have had this car finance with them for over 32 months at a total of $558.00 a month. Also my balance that I owe Santander Consumer USA have not went down it is steadily increasing than decreasing. How can I obtain a claim form to file suit against Santander Consumer USA.

Upon taking this loan out, it was then found out my ex committed identity theft, fraud, on me which greatly affected my credit and causing a very high interest rate. I needed the car since I have two kids and a job and an ex who was forced to leave my house via PFA. I contacted Santander regarding this issue after the fact of the signed documents and was told they would re-visit based on the fraud being investigated and provided all removed from my credit report. It was found I had my ex commit credit card fraud, forgery, and identity theft causing severe damages to my credit. And I am still in this contract based off of false credit report. I have a ridiculous high interest rate based on FRAUD on my credit report. I have paid $356 a month since January 2016. Purchased the car for a little over 14K and after 2 years still over 11K. How is this possible? I literally made a payment once and you actually applied $81 towards my principle and over $900 bucks to the interest. When I requested all my payments through your website. My own lawyer couldn't read your statement with random numbers deducted.

I sent priority mail on Wednesday May 9, 2018 the amount as advised by the CSR $17706.00 and to the address as advised by the CSR. Per tracking, which has been provided to Ethan, a manager in customer service, per what he said, I know the payment arrived on Wednesday May 9, 2018 and was signed for by C Childs in the mailroom. As of about an hour ago, my certified check still isn't able to be found and the only explanation I have received is that you all receive millions of payments. I was scheduled to leave town as my mother is passing and I had a shirt vacation time. I paid my car off to purchase a new car so that my family could fit for a trip. Monies have been tied up because I issued these funds to you. I have called Ethan several times, rcvg subpar customer service from him and his staff. I need help! This is horrible customer service and care for services that you provide. On top of that my account has incurred late fees when it should have shown paid off by now!

I called about ten times today. I also went into the branch. I was hung up on three times. I never cursed once or raised my voice. I attempted for about four hours to ask why when i call the automated system for my balance, the system tells me because of consecutive number of wrong pin attempts i need to speak to an agent. They told me to go into a branch to show my id to reset my pin. I did not resolve anything. They told me nine times i needed to call back the automated system and it would give me the opportunity to reset my pin. It never did and always transferred back to customer. After being verified eight times for about two hours total for the eight times i called. I was finally given a reference number by jesus and he told me someone would call me back. This experience was horrible from asking for three differents sups to being hung up on three times to being verified eight times to being transferred. Obvioussly they are not keeping track of when i called and whom i have spoken or the reason i have called in the past. I think itsbwierd that i work in a call center for a utility company and everything is regulated by the board of utilities but banking customer service has no over sight for cuatomer service. Also i asked to have myself signed up for alerts to get a text for everytime i get a deposit to know when my paycheck is deposited. The person on the phone would not do this for me. A supervisor would not do this and niether would the bank rep that i sat down with at the bank. The rep at the bank said i needed a desktop computer not a wireless device or a phone. Who still has a desktop in thier home to have access to the complete site. Now i have to go to the library to sign up for alerts where im granted 45 minutes and cannot access my gmail because i will not leave my phone number on my email. Going forward i will not use santander bank any longer.

They have overcharged me thousands on my vehicle a 2014 dodge charger. They harass me if I'm a day late they call all times of the night .And while I'm at work they call from different numbers harassing me they play like other people. They argue with you on the telephone and they also add 2 carnote at one time They are very unprofessional and I feel like they only do this because I'm black please contact me at [protected]

My son was 18 @ the time and wanted to purchase his own vehicle to build his credit so he went to a car lot. This company applied and got him in a high interest loan with Santander Bank and I wasn't with him at the time. This bank approved and 18 yr old child for a $16500 loan with a interest rate @ 29.999% which was to high! This bank took advantage of this young person with no credit history at the time. This was unethical as a bank to approve a child with a McDonald's income for a car that over 5 yrs he would had to pay back $40000 which was too much for a young person. Now his credit is ruined because of their unethical lending practices. What can I do to help him get this removed from his credit?

paid off loan, and not have not received title
I paid off my RV loan on March 22, 2018. I have not received the title from bank. I have requested the title to be sent to me on 3 separate occasions since paying off the loan. To verify that bank has the title. I called California DMV which said that a title had been issued to the bank, so they did not have it. I need the title so that I can title the RV in our new State of residence (Kentucky).
I feel that I am getting the run around from this company, because before the loan was paid off, a title request from the Kentucky County Clerk went unanswered by this company. Originally a title request was sent via fax from the County Clerk Feb. 8, 2018. This matter has gone on way too long, and not much help from anyone to get my title.
atm malfunction
Using another bank card, I utilized the Santander ATM in the Harrisburg (PA) International Airport (2-9-18). The requested sum retracted quickly and before I could take it from the tray. A simple accounting of the monies requested or deposited in this ATM should prove that there remained $200 more than should have been there. My own debit card also should prove my use. How do I get my money back?

Julesa id #818324 was a very rude and disrespectful supervisor who refused to return overdraft fees. The story, a check was deposited on Friday. A teller informed us that it would clear on Monday. We had an available balance to cover charges made over the weekend. They don't process a deposit over the weekend, but process fees over the weekend? She would not reverse any charges. I would not recommend this bank to anyone.

I submitted two set of orders. I was told I didn't qualify with my PCS orders (of course they only tell your current duty station). When i sent my enlisted contract and my deployment orders they say if they didn't have my account number on them they delete them. But you denied my PCS orders and they didn't have my account number on them. Very contradicting. Anyway I brought my first car before coming in the Military which qualifies me for the benefits and with my second car I deployed to Iraq for 15 months which qualify me for 15 months of benefits. The rude rep said i don't qualify when i do for both cars. I just found out about this and they had a big lawsuit about this. They really want to loose business with the military horrible customer service and not rendering proper benefits to Service members. I guess they want another law suit. I'm taking action

We purchased a vehicle through Enterprise Cars Sales for $22, 100.00 in 2015 (our 3rd purchased), with a down payment of $3, 500.00. Three years later due to unfortunate events my husband was laid off 2 days before Christmas; we decided to call Santander's to make payment arrangements for the month of January and February 2018, knowing that he will be back to work, but haven't yet. With February coming to an end, no funds to make March's payment of $493.20; so we decided to call Santander's once more for an extension. I made the call to Santander explaining our situation, knowing that they will grant it because we have never, never missed or have been late on our monthly car payment of $493.20-mind you on a 2014 Chrysler minivan until this recent event of my husband being laid off from work two days before Christmas. I was shocked to be told by Santander Consumer USA that they were unable to extend another payment, meanwhile explaining to me I only have 14 days before it becomes late and after it will be reported on my credit. Wow! What an insult! We have never missed a payment of $493.20 x 29 months = $14, 302.80. We've basically paid the van off but still owe $17, 855.23. Is this insane or what?

I made a payment arrangement due to the fact of me being a low income person and I was giving the car without employment. I explained that to the car dealer and I was told to keep it a year and my payments would be lower. That didn't happen. After my last arrangement. I made a payment as told and then received numerous calls stated a payment wasn't made. Told me the payment made was not accounted for because it went towards interest. So now they added more late fees and said I owe the current month payment. I don't understand. Its double payment. I'm getting a lawyer and I'm suing. My interest rate went up and my payments made aren't being accounted for.

An employee provided me with incorrect information in December about my billing. I was told a complaint was being filed ( never did) . Now y'all are calling me everyday for a mistake that y'all employee made, trying to make it my fault.
I was told if I made a payment of 230 something dollars, that would cover my December and past due bill making my account a 0 balance and that I would be all set to my make my regular payment of 412 in January . However that was incorrect. Somebody was suppose to file a complaint back in December and pull the phone records, that never happen ( another employee lied to me again).
I'm already looking into filling a complaint with the BBB.

I currently have an auto loan that I pay. I recently pulled my credit report and it shows my status as a Charge Off which is incorrect. I am current on my car loan. I called customer service and they are stating that there is nothing that they can do. This is hurting my ability to refinance or even get out of the vehicle I am in if I wanted to. I can not buy my house or anything. This is frustrating when you know your account is current. I spoke with a supervisor and they state they cant help. I spoke with a manager and same scenario. I just don't understand that if my account is current then report it as such.
