Sapphire Resorts review: Timeshare

We are here to make you aware of the unethical practices we have experienced with Sapphire Resorts. We purchased a timeshare package that was supposed to give us discounted rates to travel anywhere we wanted. We were trapped in meetings for hours, wasting a whole day of our vacation to listen to all of the wonderful things this purchase could give us. We soon found out that none of what we were sold on was true. We could not ever find dates available. We were also told we did not have enough points to purchase any of the vacations we wanted. The entire thing was a waste of our time and money. Now we are stuck with something that is totally useless to us.

We have tried reaching out to the resort directly to let them know about our concerns. That was also a huge waste of our time because they refused to help us. We are now stuck with something that does not provide a benefit but continues to drain us financially. None of this should be acceptable. This is why the timeshare industry has such a bad reputation. We are sorry we did not have the information about this resort beforehand. This feels like the biggest mistake we have ever made. It is shameful that people are allowed to be paid to take advantage of people by giving them false information in order to make them buy into a timeshare.

We would like help to get out of the contract we have with them. There has to be a way out of something like this and we hope someone will be forthcoming about the information.
