Sapphire Resorts lied to us about every detail of their timeshare and the services they supposedly offer. We were told over and over again that it was NOT a timeshare, which it is, and if we joined, we would save a ton of money compared to booking hotels or resorts online. We have NEVER been able to use this timeshare. After doing a recent cost comparison we could easily book an all-inclusive resort for a week with airfare for less than what the timeshare costs us. Because we were struggling with the timeshare so badly in the beginning, they were able to lure us into two additional meetings promising to help us use it and get the most out of it. The most recent saleswoman, Kay Ringer, told us we would lose everything we had already spent and we would not have any access to anything we already paid for if we didn’t upgrade with her right then and there. After all this effort and money to make it work, we still cannot book anything. We have tried to resolve this with Sapphire countless times. We have been ignored, denied, blown off, and given the runaround. No one from Sapphire has given any indication that they have taken us seriously or are doing anything to make up for it or cancel the timeshare as we’ve been requesting. They failed us completely. We can’t use it, it is not an investment, it does not gain any value, we cannot rent it, and we are now tied to a lifetime of fees that will keep increasing forever. The frustration and costs associated with Sapphire are not sustainable nor reasonable. We would never have been caught dead buying into this if the sales agents gave honest and accurate information. Sapphire couldn't care less and refuses to do anything about it.
