This is my official complaint letter with the following 7 items highlighted.
(1) My concerns about protection of furniture and belongings from the rain were not listened to when my belongings were picked up on July 10, 2023 from my home.
(2) On arrival, to my home in Sydney, some items that were not marked as being opened by Australian Quarantine, had already been unwrapped/ unpacked and damaged. Why?
(3) Many items were damaged with scrapes/gouges, water mold/ mildew, or broken.
(4) As of this letter approximantly 25 boxes/items are MISSING!
(5) NONE OF Schumacher Cargo Logistics, PAC Global Insurance, Baker & Company or Grace Removalists have accepted responsibility for my missing items - Despite the fact that my insurance covers damaged and missing items.
(6) I was given confusing instructions with regard to making insurance claims; PAC Global website states one set of instructions (especially time restrictions for the processing), then Baker & Company claims department (for PAC Global in England) stated another set of instructions, AND then in phone conversations with Carlos Valverde at PAC Global in California and Sjim Alber at Grace gave different information.
(7) Communications throughout this whole ordeal have been less than desired!
I made the decision to return to Australia and thought that I had chosen a reputable removal company with high ratings that would make the process easier and free of pain & stress. Unfortunately what I have experienced since July 10, 2023 has been Far Short of the promise “Peace of Mind for our clients”.
Sorting, downsizing, and packing IS in itself stressful over the time that it takes to do all that needs to be done. NOW am wanting to settle into my new home YET CAN’T. Due to the damages, as well as missing items, I continue to be UNSETTLED with this whole unresolved situation.
PLEASE FIND ME A RESOLUTION!

Claimed loss: Substantial Damages and Missing Boxes/Items
Desired outcome: Pay out full amount that I'm insured for. (will not compensate for missing boxes/items)
