A lawyer was assigned, and we trusted Scorpion to handle the matter professionally. However, in the middle of the case, Scorpion abruptly decided to pull out, claiming my brother was not in school when we reached out — a claim that is factually incorrect, as evidenced by the documents we submitted. This decision feels like a betrayal, leaving us without support and throwing us under the bus.
This is not an isolated incident. My mother also had a case with Scorpion, and despite your promises to fight for her, she ultimately lost her home. This pattern of unprofessionalism and abandonment is beyond unacceptable, especially when clients are paying substantial amounts for your services.
The Durban branch, in particular, seems to have a significant issue with accountability and thoroughness. It’s appalling that clients who trust Scorpion to handle their legal matters are instead met with negligence and sabotage.
Scorpion’s treatment of clients reflects poorly on your organization. I urge you to take immediate action to address these systemic issues, ensure accountability, and provide the quality of service you promise. People rely on you during vulnerable times, and it’s disheartening to see that trust being abused.
I hope this review serves as a wake-up call to improve their operations and restore integrity to your services.
Recommendation: Find another institution that will not put their needs of cutting costs before their clients.
