I made one online purchase from overseas (India) last December and no less than 3 companies started recurring monthly and unauthorized charges to my credit card account after that. BofA Credit Card would not institute a stop-charges from these companies. I was told I had to contact them directly. DRI Reg.NET for $39.95, PMIdentity.com for $19.95 and Segpayeu.com for $19.95! I will be a regular visitor here at complaintsboard.com from now on. Please encourage your friends to investigate CC charges that look suspicious. I hope I help others from being scammed like I have been!

UPDATE: the segpayeu.com recurring monthly charge was actually $29.95. They said they would stop the billing and refund the latest charge. I thought this was over a purchase from India but, the segpay people said the authorization came from a purchase made on Vidz.com. I researched this site and it is a porn site. Someone, (possibly a family member) may have made this transaction not knowing these charges would be the result?

The same thing happened to me. I got lucky and my bank's third party watch group caught it for me. If it is an option, through your bank, I would ask for a permanent block on the card they are using and get a new card. That is what they had to do for me.

I was just notified by my credit union that a fee of $19.95 was charged against my account by segpaye.com. I understand they are in Florida. Someone should investigate and shut them down!

You people have made me very angry! I cancelled this the same day because it was not going to help me out at all. Now I have been charged for oct. and sept. It was supposed to be a $2.95 charge for three days. I did not authorize this purchase for two months in a row. Scince I did not authorize this I have been told it is not legal, this company will be investigated. I think it would be a good idea for you to reverse the charges.

SEGPAYEU.COM charged my Visa for $29 and listed charge as (Services and Merchandise) I never ordered anything from them.
I did order WUYI TEA from Penn. USA (to try for $4.99) which turned out to be from China. I never ordered it again but was charged for the full amount of a box of tea, even though I'm not at the address the first sample was sent to. I tried calling the company but the line is always busy and when I contacted the company in Pennsylvania which was listed on the box, they said they had nothing to do with my product.

I don't know where they got it but these people have acquired my Visa card number and charged $29.95 to the card. The fraud department of my Visa card company called us to ask if we had authorized this charge. They canceled our credit cards and issued new one so segpayeu could not add more charges. After doing a Google search it appears that we are not the only ones who segpayeu has done this to. We are going to file a formal complaint with all available, appropriate agencies with the hope that we can create a world of hurt for these crooks. If you are also a victim of these crooks, I encourage you to do the same.

I am currently dealing with segpay. My bank has told me that segpay HAS to reimburse all transaction and all processing fees past and present. They apparently started charging my acct this last January for some kind of a prescription plan for over 39.00 per month. I just caught it today and SegPay said they would only reimburse the LAST transaction. I called my bank, got the legal information I needed and then called segpay back requesting to speak to a manager or supervisor... NO LUCK. The lady took my information and said I would receive an email with information with in 72 hours... I told her that with in the email, I want an explanation of HOW these charges were brought about. Did a sales person from some other order duplicate my card number and then place an additional order for commission? As most sales rep companies contract with third party companies... therefor the each sales person is to try to sale as many products as possible... I'm assuming this is what happened... Segpay did NOT deny that this was most likely the case.

I will come back and update how they handle my case. Does anyone know where best to file a complaint on SegPay if this is not resolved properly?

Segpay declined may card and still ran a $49.00 charge through. They even emailed the declined info.
My bank immediately reversed the charge and I sent a fax of Segpay's email about the false declined info.
How can my card be declined and still be charged $49.00? They are not brainiacs at Segpay, just thieves.

I have two charges worth right at $6o.oo and i have not authorized any i have no idea what these charges are for. If i bought something i dont mind paying for it but i know for sure i havent bought anything or said yes charge my card for anything online since the first of the year. Plus since these charges have accured and not expecting them i have had $500.00 worth of nsf charges on several checks that was shy just a couple of dollars. Like i said i dont mind paying for something that i ordered but what i have the problem with is being charged all this money. I have had many problems with my account and could not figure out what the deal was until now. I went to the bank today and filed a affadavit for the unaurthorized charges that i have on my account. I would appreciate you all taking a look at my account and repaying me the money that i am owed.

I too have had recurring charges for the last four months from this company, that I don't recall authorizing. Something similar to this happened to me several months ago, and I informed the supervisor that I knew of their history and threatened to take legal action and he immediately refunded all of the charges as opposed to the two they offered...no such luck with these segpayeu people. They told me they would refund two charges and then send me an email regarding the rest, to catch them in their lie I requested what email address they had on file for me. After being put on hold for several minutes the woman finally came back with an email address confirmation. Seriously, this is absolutely ridiculous.

There is serious fraud going on here. This payment processor is a part of the problem. They play dumb like they do not know what's going on and they are just the billers. But it is 100% fraud.

The scam involves a lot of these recurring monthly membership sites mainly involving porn. They offer free trials or 3 day - 7 day trials for $2.95 or so. After the trial you billed anywhere from $19.95 to $39.95 per month. These membership sites have a large number of payment processors they use such as segpayeu.com.

So even when you cancel your membership, whether it be online before the trial is over or you get billed and call to cancel...they wait 2 or 3 months and send it to another processor. some that i know of are firstsups.com and optsupport.com. This cycle will continue on and on and on. Irregardless of how many times you cancel you will eventually be charged again. They do not care because they do not think people will be aggressive to complain to authorities over the membership to a porn site.

This activity is illegal and needs to be reported to your attorney general. Go over your bank statement over the past 6 or so months and see how many of these similar charges you have but in another name. Take that information and submit a formal complaint to the attorney general. List the processor and the membership site.

When you contact the processor to cancel you are entitled to a refund for every charge they made to your account. You claim fraud and unauthorized charge.

Checked our online banking last night...$49.95 charged by segpayue.com...NEVER ordered anything online. Contacted segpayeu.com customer service and they pulled up the account number which contained the correct credit card number and an email address that was ours but had one additional character. They said they would reverse the charge (5-7 business days) and block any further charges from this card. BOA can't block the company but did offer once we get the refund back to re-issue a new card.

I just happened to check my BofA account today and seen a pending charge for $49.95 from segpayEU.com. I called the bank and they could not help me since the payment had not posted. I googled the website and found this forum thankfully. I did an online chat with segpayEU.com and they looked up an account that was for firsttimeanalvidz.com, some porn website. Scary part is the account had my home address, the email address was very similiar, but missing a few letters. I told them I do not even have internet at home, I am currently at work, and any type of adult websites are completely blocked from our system. They blocked my card and said the charges will not post. I copied and printed the online chat and they also informed they would send me an email confirming the card would be blocked. This is the 1st time anything like this has happened to me, and it really worries me. I'm not even sure how my info was accessed and don't know what I should do from this point to ensure it doesn't happen again.

Same exact thing happened to me as lissalug - same exact charge for $49.95. Yesterday, I checked my BOA and saw the charge. I called the company first, and they said they would remove the charge in 5-10 business days. As of today, it's already been removed. Also, I called BOA immediately after speaking with the company and canceled my card immediately, but this is starting to make me wonder who has the security problem...me or BOA?!?! Lissalug, I deleted permanently the e-mail address they had associated with this account, I changed all of my passwords for everything...I am pretty careful about these things...I still steaming! And contemplating whether or not to open a new bank account!

I recently got charged for $30.06 from my debit card from SegPayEU at 2:11am on the 16/02/2011 in that time frame I was no where near a computer but in fact asleep in a tent out bush! I called my bank and they have no idea where the money went but can't do anything about it until the transaction is complete. On their website it says its based in the US/CANADA I've never been over there and I NEVER use my card for online transactions because of hidden fee's and scams.. I am so incredibly annoyed at the fact that I got scammed for something I've never heard about. So I got my card canceled and a new one is being sent to me.

Have any of you ever gotten you money back?
