Fraudulent charge
The service was good, the bags got delivered as promised. However, I received an invoice with a hefty fee for exceeding the size allowance which was an absolute lie. The company refused to send me a proof or evidence of that being the case. When I phoned them and questioned it a rather rude representative stated that the bags had been measured twice and he was not allowed to discuss anything. Stay away from this fraudulent company!

Monday 7th October, driver didn't arrive and I phoned your company to be told my case wasnt ready, tjisbis lies I stayed in the while day waiting, one of your agents told me I would have to contact the company thst picks up, only to be told I had nopick up number. I have Bi Pola, and I was crying at been let down, phone your company again and they said they could do pick up on the Tuesday but couldn't tell mebuf the case would arrive on time, which was no alternative to me. I was left in a state of panic howwas going to get to Manchester with 2 cases. Your team acted as they couldn't care less fave ne my money back for pick up., which didn't help me. The start of my holiday was ruined by your company and my relatives hadn't help me at the stations. On the return of the case more excuses case was promised on the Monday but once again let down and picked up on the Tuesday. Delivered on the Wednesday. I was to speak to someone when case arrived to be told I wouldn't get any compensation. Your company has let me down on a few occasions begire, but NEVER like this, I f I hadn't phoned on the Monday I would have been left in limbo. VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER. My recent experience with Send My Bags could hardly have been worse except for perhaps losing my suitcase entirely. My suitcase was LOOTED, property stolen, somewhere between the USA and Italy. When I took delivery of my suitcase, I immediately checked the contents only to discover that most of the high-value items of shoes and clothing had been stolen.
The suitcase was opened and inspected, and a label bore a partial signature of the person who inspected the bag.
This is an EGREGIOUS event and is entirely unacceptable. This was my 3rd shipment with Send My Bags. The first one had some issues but the company made restitution to my satisfaction. The second shipment went flawlessly, but this one left me feeling violated and I have completely lost faith in this company to provide safe, reliable and guaranteed transportation of my property.
I cannot say with any certainty who is to blame. Could it have been the carrier ? Possibly. Could it have been an airport employee ? Also possible. But Send My Bag needs to take ownership of this calamity and either file a claim with THEIR insurance carrier or else make full restitution out of their own pocket. I was offered a partial settlement of approximately HALF the value of my property in spite of having purchased additional insurance coverage. An investigation was supposedly conducted over the course of three weeks but of course no property was recovered and no evidence found, despite their being a signature of the person who opened and search my bag and in spite of there supposedly being CCTV along the way.
If and when Send My Bags offers me an explanation AND full restitution, I will amend my complaint and company review. Until that happens, I advise all would-be customers to review their options before conducting business with this company and putting their personal property at risk of theft by unscrupulous employees and handlers of customers’ property. There is NO EXCUSE for something like this occurring and if it DOES happen, full restitution should be made without delay.

My luggages got returned from Sweden. I was delivering them from the UK to Skellefteau. Due to my reciever who claims did not get any phone call they got returned to the UK. But in the app it showed it reached Skellefteau. But the truth is when I tracked on Fedex it did not pass the security of Sweden. Now when it got returned to the UK. They were at the airport. Send my bag chrged me extra fees to release my luggages. But the truth is they did not provide Fedex with any return address. When I wrote to Fedex they said my case is closed. It did not even go to my previous address. The caller assured me they will give a new address. I want my luggages back. and this is injustice. I am attaching the emails and everything for prrof. Over the call they told me its okay if I pay the fees abit late.

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience using SendMyBag. I mean, I get it, shipping stuff internationally can be a bit of a hassle, but this was just ridiculous.
First off, the information I was getting from the company and the delivery service was all over the place. They told me my bag had cleared customs on the 5th, then they said it hadn't on the 7th, then they said it had again on the 7th, and then they said it hadn't on the 8th. I mean, come on, can't they get their story straight?
And then there were the delivery dates. They told me it would be there on the morning of the 7th, then they said it would be there in the afternoon, and then they said there was some kind of "systems issue." What does that even mean? Then they said it would be there on the morning of the 8th, but suddenly they had no idea where the bag was. And on and on it went.
I basically had to sit at home for a whole week waiting for my bag to maybe show up one day. And the tracking was just not reliable at all. I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone unless you have absolutely nothing else going on in your life and can sit at home all day waiting for your stuff to arrive.
All in all, I was pretty disappointed with SendMyBag. They really need to get their act together if they want to be a reliable shipping option.

I've gotta say, I'm not too impressed with SendMyBag. I've used them three times now, and I've had some pretty major issues.
The second time I used them, my box arrived all busted up and split open on the side. It looked like someone had run it over with a truck or something. Not cool.
And just a couple weeks ago, I paid to send a package from the UK to the USA, and they quoted me 3-4 days for delivery. But it ended up taking a whole week! When I explained my situation to Send My Bag, telling them that I was leaving the country the next day and had already made travel arrangements, booked hotels and other travel reservations, they assured me that they would put in a request for DHL to collect my belongings in the evening. I waited for two more hours but was then informed that the request had been denied, leaving me and my family in a predicament.
Due to this delay and lack of communication, we had to rebook all of our travel plans, take new tests, and spend another day waiting from morning until night for a new truck that may or may not show up. This resulted in a lot of unnecessary stress and inconvenience to us.

Send My Bag is refusing to take responsibility for their damage. I shipped following their instructions. They didn’t recommend or require I take photos showing that I wrapped my suitcase before they picked it up. They also don’t require that the item is wrapped. They recommend it to protect “from rain.” My suitcase arrived with a noxious petroleum odor and stains all over the front, back, bottom and sides. Additionally, stains and odor cannot be removed from three expensive items that were packed inside. They had the audacity in an email to claim I can’t prove they are the ones who ruined my stuff. As though I dumped petroleum on my own prized possessions. I don’t have the time for these kinds of hassles. As the paying customer, I shouldn’t have to beg for a company to make good on damage that’s obvious in photos they caused. If consumers have to start documenting every last little thing that is done when they hire a company, we’ll have time for nothing else in life. It’s a no brainer I wouldn’t cause the damage. I’m the one who spent money to have my items arrive at my home. @sendmybag needs to own up for their mistake, instead of blaming the customer and looking for every excuse to get out of it. It’s disgraceful. The whole experience makes me sick.

My experience with SendMyBag (sendmybag.com) was extremely disappointing. I had requested a collection in Kent, England and was left waiting the entire day for the driver who never arrived. Despite reaching out to the customer service phone operator numerous times, they were unable to provide any concrete information about the whereabouts of the driver.
To make matters worse, the driver failed to show up the following day as well, leaving me stranded with a heavy load to deal with. The customer service was of no help and was simply telling me that the driver would show up eventually. It's now December 10th, and it feels like I'll never see the end of this ordeal. All in all, my experience with sendmybag.com was terrible - I wouldn't recommend using their services to anyone. They are incredibly unreliable and subpar in terms of customer service, and worst of all, they won't even refund you for the mistakes they have made.
