Sensa scam

Went to www.trysensa.com for the 60 day "free" trial. At the end all I had to pay was $4.95, when I received the invoice, not only did I get charged for $89.95, I was put on auto-renewal. When I called, I was not missed the 30 return (even though it was a 60 day plan), I evidentally missed the "grace" period. I am eating $89.95 with my sensa... DO NOT order if you don't plan on PAYING!

I just got off the phone, what a scam! They want you to send back any unused product in order not to be billed in the future. This is not a free trial it's a scam and I'm pissed off.. THE PHONE NUMBER IS [protected]. THE WAITING TIME IS AT LEAST 10 MINUTES! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!

Yup! I just got the collections call today because when the charge showed up on my credit card my Credit Card company called me and asked if I had made a charge for $89.95 and since I had no memory of any $89.95 charges made on that day, there were none, I told them it wasn't my charge. They closed that card account and gave me a new credit card and number. Teach me to read these things more closely. I will call Sensa and offer to send their product back at my expense but I will not pay for the product because it didn't work for me and made me Ill!

I am going through this exact same thing! In fact, I got a call from their collections department early this morning. Luckily, I lost my debit card in February and have a new account number, and they can't charge me any money because I'm sure as hell not giving them the new one. Yeah, it'll take my credit down a little bit, but they have seriously shady business practices and I'm glad to stick it to them!

And that's how you only pay $4.95 :)

Sensa charged 89.95 for 4.95 order

I tried to order the 4.95 free sample of the product, they charged me 89.95. I called immediately to get my money returned to my account they said they would return it but asked if I wanted to get the 4.95 free trial, I said yes, they charged me for that and still have not returned my 89.95.

I agree with all of the complaints, I to have tried to cancel and have my money returned. I can't find a place on their websit that I can cancel anything. Instead of loosing weight I have gained weight which I didn't need. I need help with this problem. They have just overdrawn my bank account and I've received only the first trial amount. This is the second time they have withdrawn money from my account and caused this problem.

It's unfortunate that so many people were sucked in by Sensa's add but the terms and conditions plainly state that they will charge $89.95 every 2 months for the initial order and following orders if you don't cancel. The true travesty is the cost. 2 minutes before I read the terms and conditions I looked at GNC's online website. They sell the Sensa system for a fraction of the cost. At GNC you get a 6 month supply for $89.95 and you have options of buy 3 and 4 month supplies at a lower cost. I didn't really see a difference in the contents of the package so I can't figure out why for the same price you get 1/3 of the product from the people who actually made the product.

if you listen to the commercial ads or terms and cond it does not say free samples..its a trial and you should know with a trial it means TRY BRFORE YOU BUY and trial means using something for a certain amount of time to see if you like ...come on are you kidding me

Sensa Free Trial Rip Off

Beware! SENSA free trial is a rip-off! In fact, it costs you $4.95 MORE than if you had just ordered it in the beginning. After 30 days the regular charge of $89.95 appears on your credit card. This is for the FREE introductory order with a two-month supply. Then 30 days later they bill you again--this time for months 3 and 4. And they proclaim you're only billed every 60 days. So the free trial costs $89.95 PLUS $4.95, and the following shipments cost $89.95. And I gained weight using it! ( which they say often happens but will reverse with time...well, time is UP!)

I think all companies that do this are scams.and should be banned from doing business on line. Stuff like this is what keeps a lot of people from shopping on line. Sure, it may be the American way for the most part but it is still wrong.

Huh, help me understand why it's their fault? Yes, their wording is certainly shady ... Shady enough to make me look into it before I made a purchase. It lured me in by saying "Try Sensa Free" with no mention of time frame. Naturally I clicked for more info. The first thing I saw that was a red flag for a "FREE" offer was a $4.95 shipping fee. That was enough to make me read closer. That's where I saw the disconnect "Product is free to try for 30 days." vs. the actual quantity they send you "SENSA® Months 1 & 2 for a full 60-Day Supply". It was pretty easy to see from THEIR OWN SITE that there was going to be a problem after 30 days if I went for their "FREE" offer. I'm sorry, it's not really a scam if it's stated on their site & you failed to read it properly! It's kind of your own problem. Caveat Emptor!

I had the same issue..I .told "Tracy" at Sensa that she should be embarrassed to cash her pay check! Some idiot mentioned that "it is not bait and switch if you can READ"...well, if a company has to use tricky wording and ultra-fine print to sell their product...the word REPUTABLE doesn't seem to fit, does it! BEWARE!

In February I decided to call and get your "free trial" for what I believed to be a fee of only $4.95 shipping and handling. After receiving it I spoke to my naturopath and we both decided that it was not the right way for me to proceed with my weight loss. I called up Sensa to cancel the automated shipping. The person I spoke with asked for my order ID and gave me a cancellation confirmation number; I assumed that would be all. On Saturday (6/29/13) I came home to find a box with months 3 & 4 of your product. I was unable to call at that time due to the fact that it was after business hours. When I called Monday (7/1/13) at 8:05 am the phone system said it would take 10 minutes; it took 20. I was finally connected to Dwain (5083) who said there was no call on record for my previous cancellation and that I would have had to send back the trial I had in order to actually cancel it. When I called to cancel the first time there was no mention of that and had I known I would have been charged $97.15 I would have gladly done so. He then informed me that he wouldn't be able to assist me with the first order but would be able to help me return the second one and cancel all future shipments. After all of that was taken care of I asked to be connected to a supervisor. Nancy (0681) was the person I was transferred to. She then informed me that because there was no call on record of my cancellation, they didn't receive the original product back, and that she couldn't give me a refund because it was past the 30 day return policy anyway. Not only is the web site misleading, but the customer service hotline was extremely unhelpful. Free means free; not free right now and we'll bill you later. Not only did I get misinformed about what I had to do the first time I called to cancel, but then I was essentially called a liar, and stolen from. I should not have to pay for a product I would have been more than happy to return because someone at this company didn't tell me what I needed to do as to not get charged. I should not have to pay for a product I did not use. I should not have to pay for a product because someone, presumably new at this company, made a clerical error. Not only is the website is misleading, but it could also be considered false advertising.

After researching online and reading the fine print, I agree this is a scam. I'm in the process of returning the so called, free trial, and if I get charged for sending back an unopened box, there will be hell to pay. How can they call this a free trial? It is dishonest., to say the least.

I don't think any legit companies sell product this way. If it's a good product and it works why have a free trial period with fine print? It's all smoke and mirrors before you buy. Sell it in a store or on your website and let real customer reviews take care of the rest.

I got the free trial but never got the chance to use it, but I was still charged 90 something dollars despite canceling online. I then talked to the chat support, which I'm sure was a bot, and they kept offering me things. First it offered me 5 extra months free for continuing, then 4 extra for continuing, then a $30 refund for keeping it, then a $45 refund for keeping it. Luckily I kept pestering and eventually they gave me a RMA number to return it for a full refund. I mailed it off the same day. Unfortunately for me, the bot quickly exited the chat before I got the chance to print the conversation. I better get a full refund or I'm metaphorically kicking some a**. The bot seemed to be trying everything to keep me from asking for a free refund in the beginning, continuously offering me less than what I deserved until then.

I was invited to receive a two month free trial of Sensa, just pay the postage (that is how they get the credit card number.) Sensa Charged credit card without authorization

Ordered what I was told was a free 30-day trial sample in August. There was nothing in the ad about charging me $89.95 every two months. But, sure enough on the bottom of my order confirmation, it did state that - AFTER I placed the trial sample order.

I called them and they told me that they would remove the charge. They didn't. I'm returning the product in its entirety and have asked my credit card company not to pay their bill.

We'll see what happens!

I aso have two $89.95 charges to my debit card. After the first charge, I spoke with a Sensa rep. who explained this is a one time charge and assured me I would not be charged again unless I re-ordered the product. Much to my surprise, there is another charge showing up on statement. I called the company this morning and was given a RMA number to return the product I have not yet received. The rep is telling me that they have no record of my first conversation last month. When I explained I will be speaking with my bank regarding the fraud, the rep agreed to refund 45.00 to my account today, and the remainder when the receive the package. Definite Fraud...

The SENSA company is operating within legal limits. The language of their add is purposely misleading. A lot of other sleazy outfits operate that way. They just know that many people, especially young people, will not suspect their lies about free. I do believe, that after people discover that they have been taken, they loose interest in their product. The fact is that if somebody tries to mislead you, it is always done for for their own purpose, usually to get your money. I do not know what is in their product. However, if you follow a healthy diet with moderate exercise, a placebo will work for some people. My opinion is, that if they possibly have a really revolutionary product, this would not be an honest way to sell it. Personally, I returned the product before their charge was due and put them into the category of scam.
sincerely,
VEK

I AM NOT A SENSA EMPLOYEE! Long ago I learned to read the fine print. Today, 4/22/11, the webvertisement clearly spells out that there is a $89.95 charge if you don't return the trial within 30 days. It even alerts you that you will pay the return postage. It even provided the specific deadline date for returning the product. Also, it is very clear that you are enrolled in an auto renew program. No suprises if you just look at the details. With that said, GNC offers their own discounts that makes buying the product from them less costly. Interesting, no one here is complaining that Sensa does not work!

There is nothing FREE about Sensa. A free trial with Sensa will cost you 89.95 plus 4.95 shipping. If you cancel once you receive the product you'll still get charged a couple of months later. They are misleading on offering a 'free' anything. Don't expect them to work with you on it as they won't. They are NOT in the customer service business but in the business to mislead for gain of money. If you order the 'free' trial, be prepared to pay 89.95 plus 4.95 shipping whether you return it or not. They need to change their words and how they present it, it's trickery.

I ordered this product for 10 bucks. I hadn't used it so I cancelled everything before the trial was over because I didn't know when I'd start using it. They charged me 95.00 even though I cancelled it in time! I called, I got half of it back. I have to returned the unopened packages and wait 2-3 weeks for the rest of the refund. This is horrible! Free trial turns into $9.95 then turns into $95.00. I will never do business with them again!

I also did the free trial, never received it and then when I called to ask about it, I noticed that they had taken $90.00 out of my account, without my authorization. I was informed that I had to file a claim with the post office in order to get my refund. Which will take about two weeks. Ugh! The claim asks me for the MAILER's information, CS never gave me that information and now I'm stuck trying to find out their address. Can anyone give me this info. Thank you.

Have just gotten an RMA for product but only after a hassle about it. Directions say to write the RMA# on outside of package, postmark within 7 days, send to SENSA at 28516 Livingston Ave, Valencia, CA 91355 and to request a tracking # JUST IN CASE YOUR RETURN IS HELP UP OR LOST! So, if I don't get my refund, they will probably tell me it was held up! I knew I should not have ordered from this company! Should have bought at the store. FYI, I used the live chat to get this info. Be sure to print the page very quickly. As soon as I denied the last offer, the page disappeared!

what I'm surprised with is how many people give their credit card information without reading or listening to the fine print. Both online and on the phone, they tell you how much time you have to try Sensa and the 87 dollar bill at the end of your 2 month trial. That charge shouldn't be a surprise. Now I agree that it's not that easy to send back the product but I realized within 2 weeks it wasn't working and was able to send back then before the charges would begin.

Sensa bogus company

This company sells products and clothing supposedly from the Amazon area. I ordered 2 bars of soap from them. The company charged my credit card and never sent the items. I called the number on their website and "george" answered his cell phone. Caught off guard, he stuttered and said their website was having some email problems and he would call me back. No calls or return emails ever received. I called and emailed continually for about a week and finally got my credit card c ompany to reverse the charges. When looking the company up on the internet, it is registered as an accounting company and "george" is very involved in some Armenian American group in California. So basically, who knows what ecossensa is a front for...?

Sensa Aquaguard Sensa G water purifier

Hi, I am in Bangalore, Airport Raod. I bought a Eureka Forbes water Purifier nearly 4 months back. They had mentioned at the time of sales that they provide the best service to the customer. In my case nobody came for the service after which they were supposed to do. Then suddenly my machine reported some fault. I made a complaint to the toll free number and they gave me a code number. They told the same day a person would visit me and solve the problem.

Nobody turned up. I used to call almost everyday, and had to describe the entire problem regularly. Even, I tried to talk to Service Manager Mr. Achuthan (in Bangalore) to escalate the issue but the person who picks up the phone gives some excuses and tells that they are going to immediately take an action and will call back or send a person. But nothing happens. It is kind of absolutely no use buything this product because even after buying this product, you will keep on buying the water and (I spent Rs. 18, 000 for this water purifier) you will feel like you have been cheated and your money has been looted.
It is pathetic after sales service of Aquaguard. I would request you all to please don't buy this product. Go for some other brand but for your money sake please don't buy Aquaguard.
