ADHD app subscription
Sensa targets individuals with ADHD and related issues to get subscriptions that are not easily cancelled, while continuing to charge for services that are not used. Sensa is an app that claims to help ADHD. They say it "Makes it Easy Reduce Stress, Cope with Anxiety" by creating things like "Personalized Anti-procrastination More Willpower and...

I found this app promoted on instagram sometime in the summer, claiming it will help me with my ADHD. I did a test on their site, joined a trial subscription and when I tried to install in on my Huawei phone it didn't worked. So I didn't used it at all. Today my card was debited without any notification or reminder of 80 USD for something that I didn't...

The subscription automatically renewed on October 11, 2023, without any advanced notification. When I saw the pending charge on my credit card app, I immediately sent an email requesting cancellation and a full refund. They replied the subscription had been cancelled but they could not issue a refund because I did not request the cancellation within 48 hours of the subscription renewal, therefore, I have 6 more months of access to an app which I have no interest in because it is totally useless. This company is not honest and should be flagged as such. Maybe a class action suit will teach them a lesson.
Desired outcome: Immediate full refund.

Sensa App
I did a 7 day trial for $1..bad choice because they then had my information. On the 8th day I put in request for non renewal which their website plainly says within 14 days if you request a refund. They charged me anyway. Can’t get anyone on a phone call to assist. A few days passed I emailed and they said that they have a zero refund policy. Even though...

We had hail damage on our car. We put in a claim through Sensa auto insurance. They sent out a third party person to look at the car and the amount of hail damage. Mind you the car was parked in the shade, conditions were not good to see small dents all over the car. He was there about 5 minutes. He sent his report to Sensa insurance company. Send a...

I didn’t find this app particularly helpful but had paid for six months and ate that cost. The app wasn’t being used and it actually archived off of my phone. I received a charge for a six month renewal without being reminded that the subscription would renew automatically. I immediately cancelled the subscription and emailed and asked for a refund. They refused. This app wasn’t logged into in over four months, they didn't issue a reminder and refused a refund. Very unethical. I will complain on every platform I can find.
Desired outcome: Issue refunds ethically and stop auto renewing without reminders.
Unauthorized credit card charges
I cancelled my subscription through apple and tried to contact support during the initial 6 months due to dissatisfaction with the services and app, but the phone number doesn’t work and the company is based in Lithuania. I was stuck for the first 6 months despite app bugs and unhelpful services for mental health it was not working at all. Then I thought at...
Read full review of SensaApp and whole order experience and experience in general with this company
The red flag should have been the confusion felt in doing the actual order with what was a very confusing experience. They seemed to be pushing the books hard, too, with seemingly no way to get past them but I soldiered on. Then when I got to the app and tried to use it, I got caught in a continuing loop with the Check In. Very clunky and not a good fit at...

It asked me if I would like to subscribe and I clicked no thanks. Immediately after it said I was subscribed for a fee of nearly $50. I immediately emailed saying I did not approve that, nor did I want it, so I would like 100% refund, and got a response that it’s against company policy. Well, it’s against the law to charge something that was unapproved, which is what happened here. I immediately emailed to explain what happened and got an unacceptable response. This isn’t a negotiation. After looking into this company, it appears I’m not the only one this has happened to.
Desired outcome: 100% refund and for this to stop happening to people. Steps put into place to ensure ethical/lawful practices.
I am sorry this happened, but I thank you for posting this complaint. I know I am not alone with my bad feelings about this company even before I get a specific response from them to my request for cancellation of the orders.
Sensa App
I was attracted by a Facebook ad and after filling out the quiz I was prompted to sign up for a 7-day trial a cost of $1. After getting my payment information a prompt came up for $59 upgrade which I did not select, however, my card was charged $59 and it was an auto pay which I canceled immediately. I reached out to the company regarding the error and they Said they could only offer a 50% refund. I have disputed the payment but just a warning beware of Facebook ads.
Desired outcome: Full refund for deceptive subscription information.
Sensa health app did not provide a service and had the audacity to charge me again, would not provide refund
I signed up for 6 months, they didn't give me a billing agreement, they emailed me to-do lists for a month, then nothing. Six months later, I get charged again for a renewal I didn't even have evidence for other than Paypal notifying me. I messaged their customer service, and they basically said too bad, so I went through Paypal, and then Sensa emailed me again saying they wouldn't be able to refund me since I opened a dispute with Paypal, as if they would have worked with me!
This company is a scam. They don't give you any proof of subscription, then they disappear quietly and collect more money from people with depression, ADHD, and anxiety while giving them no notice or confirmation, and certainly no service. I haven't gotten anything from this service for well over 4 months!
Save your money and look elsewhere for support in your time of need.
Desired outcome: Give me my money back immediately.
Sensa app
I downloaded the sensa app as it claimed to offer CBT therapeutic treatments and to assist with adhd. I didn’t find the app useful and deleted it and canceled from my Apple Store and phone prior the the renewal.
On June 22 I was charged $45 for sensa. Knowing I had canceled this, I reached out the company that same day and was told they would not refund. Claiming that I had to email them to cancel. After some back and forth they promised a partial refund. That has yet to happen and it’s been almost a month since they promised the refund. They go back and forth constantly asking for the same information over and over stating they need to talk with their “team”. Their current excuse is that I reported it to PayPal, however I didn’t pursue that avenue once they promised the refund. Now they are stating they won’t give one and keep sending me the terms (which I followed). It is so frustrating and shameful how this company is preying on people. This is a scam, it is unethical and fraudulent.
Desired outcome: Full refund
Sensa app
Like everyone else below, I was ripped off by these Sensa scumbags on the recurring payment thing, I did not sign up for a new subscription and they will not return my money.
The pathetic Sensa software is a complete rip-off which does not do anything that it promises. These parasites pray on vulnerable people to make exorbitant profits. I wonder how these horrible people can slepp at night!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP!
Terry
Desired outcome: Close this company down.
Auto renewal without Warning; Refusal of Refund
I received a notification of a charge on my credit card today for a subscription that I do not want after a 6 month trial that I only used for a short period. Notified them, and despite the fact that I haven't accessed the app in months and notified them same day the charge was pending, they refused to provide a refund. It did not provide sufficient warning to avoid the charge if I was uninterested (in fact, I believed I had already cancelled, but according to them they couldn't find my request.
Desired outcome: Full refund of unused fee.
I had exactly the same thing happen to me! DO NOT USE this pathetic software - it is a total rip off and does not do anthing it promises!
Sensa app autorenew
I believe this company has unethical business practices. I purchase 6 month service to try out app last year. I used the app but did not find it helpful. I was not emailed or warned that they were going to be automatically renewinf the subscription I was charged on [protected] and contacted support on the sam e day and they refused to refund saying that it was against their agreement but companies are required to give a earning of auorenewal in the US.
Desired outcome: Full refund of charge made on [protected]
Sensa app
I paid for the six month period which is $59.97 on March 5th 2023. On March 9th I canceled my subscription and emailed for a full refund. I received an email two days later saying they have a strict no refund policy but they were willing to give me a 50% refund. I emailed back and said I would like a full refund please. I have not gotten any further communications from then since then. This app needs to be shut down. It is a scam
Desired outcome: Full refund
Withdrawal from course
I contacted Sensa early on stating that I was unhappy as I felt it was falsely advertising what it provided (in terms of a detailed, personalised plan) and after one email that didn't say anything of use, they stopped responding. I thought I had cancelled the account and thought nothing of it. Next thing I know, without warning I am charged for another 6 months of the app and I hadn't opened it since. I am outraged that firstly there was no notification, and secondly, once again, no one responded after my reply email. I want a full and immediate refund and to have nothing more to do with Sensa.
My account will be under Rebecca Coldicutt & [protected]@me.com
Desired outcome: I want a full and immediate refund and to have nothing more to do with Sensa.
Sensa refused to refund my money even if within 14 days
I'm lazy to write another review but I have to tell to the whole world that it is a scam. This is what I sent to TrustPilot after they informed me that TrustPilot has taken down my review after Sensa reported my review. Please refer to the email written below.
Hi TrustPilot,
Please refer to this video, I sent a complaint to Sensa on 5 Oct 2022 but nothing changed. I submitted a refund request on 13 Oct, and Sensa responded on 14 Oct. Sensa actually works like this, Sensa will give you a lesson once every 24 hours(a day), a very basic lesson about managing anxiety and it's simple to Google search all about this kind of article and you will get the answer right away, it provides no value to the user at all, a useless CBT app. It is not only me who faced this problem, a lot of Adhd users from Google Play reviews mentioned it. It has a bug issue that causes the entire App to exit with an accidental tap on the back button, extremely irritating for Adhd people. It was very hard to determine whether Sensa will be able to fix it before 14 days or not since Sensa doesn't give enough time for trial and in order to get Sensa's assessment result, you will have to pay first, then only you can get it. Ended up that nothing is fixed even now. It is fair for me as the user to ask for a refund since the app is useless yet Sensa refused to fully refund but it could only agree to refund half of it. This triggers me a lot because it is unfair for users if the App is proven useless or ineffective. It is just like buying medicine, you bought it, you consumed it, and in the end, it was just a useless placebo. Then you lodge a complaint, saying that it is supposed to be a medicine yet it is a placebo, hence the case becomes a fraud. Please refer to the video or you can just subscribe to Sensa and you will know what I'm talking about.

Sensa app
the app intentionally manipulates your buttons and color scheme to take advantage of distracted people. Customer service will not refund me for ebooks I didn't want and has yet to respond to my request of a refund for the 6 month subscription. The process for monthly subscription intentionally is designed to automatically purchase the ebooks based on the manipulation of order and color schemes. Once clicked accidentally or not you are immediately paying for the ebook with no opportunity to review your order. In short this company is run by scrooges and I will get whatever help I need from more customer minded sources. Their refund policy states 14 days i contacted them within 24 hours.
Desired outcome: Refund and more people avoid this company
I have had some of the same problems today. They also seemed to be very pushy about moving directly to the actual subscription and about buying the books. Bad feeling about this company. Hope my email requests, my PayPal charge disputes, and my own complaint posted on this board will help me get my charges cancelled or refunded ASAP! Hope you got your refund as well! Thank you for posting your complaint! This is one person who will avoid this company in the future and Facebook offers in general! Thanks again!
Poor product and advertising is false. Refuses to give refund.
I purchased a membership for Sensa that is supposed to help manage ADHD symptoms. Through an initial "assessment", they guide users through questions that determine how severe your case for XYZ is. My test was for ADHD. The app is bogus, it's just a journal. No advice, no tips, nothing. A GD journal. False advertising to the max.
Desired outcome: A full $45 refund.
