Excellent Service and Fast Shipping for Hard-to-Find Computer Parts: My Review of Server Supply
So, I was on the hunt for a motherboard that was pretty hard to find. I stumbled upon Server Supply and decided to give them a shot. However, after reading some reviews, I was a bit worried about my purchase. But let me tell you, they really came through for me!
I had a question about whether or not I had ordered the right part, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive not one, but TWO emails back from different associates confirming that I had indeed ordered the correct part. That really put my mind at ease.
The next day, my order was shipped out (I had ordered too late in the day for same-day shipping). I received an email with my tracking number and was able to keep an eye on my package as it made its way to me. And let me tell you, it arrived FAST.
The packaging was top-notch, and my motherboard was in perfect condition. I couldn't be happier with my purchase from Server Supply. They really did a great job, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of hard-to-find computer parts.
Overall, I am very pleased with my experience with Server Supply. They were quick to respond to my questions, shipped my order out promptly, and my package arrived in perfect condition. I would definitely do business with them again in the future.
Disappointing Service and Refusal of Refund at ServerSupply
I recently made an order on ServerSupply and I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with the service I received. During checkout, I decided to pay extra for a 3 day delivery guarantee, thinking that it would ensure that my package arrived on time. However, when they shipped it out, they decided to use the slowest method available, which should have been ground, because they thought it would still arrive within the 3 day window for my region.
I was pretty upset about this, so I decided to call customer service to see if I could get a refund issued. Unfortunately, they refused to issue a credit, even though I had chosen ground shipping at checkout, which would have been free and shipped the same way.
Honestly, I think this is pretty unfair. I paid extra for a service that I didn't receive, and now I have no recourse if my package doesn't arrive on time. I really think they should have shipped it with a 3 day guarantee, since that's what I paid for.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience on ServerSupply. I don't think I'll be using their services again in the future.
Terrible Experience with ServerSupply: Opened Packages and Faulty HDDs
I had a really bad experience with ServerSupply. I bought 5 HDD's from them that were supposed to be new, but when they arrived, the packages were already opened. I tried to boot them up, but none of them worked. I was really disappointed and frustrated, so I contacted them within the 30-day warranty period. I received an email from Habib Rahima, who asked me if the problem was due to firmware or what kind of error I was getting. I replied with the information he asked for, but then I received another email saying that it was out of warranty and they couldn't issue an RMA.
I was really upset with their lack of integrity and honor as a company and as individuals. I felt like I had been ripped off and that my ID and credit card information might have been stolen. I would definitely not recommend buying from them. It's just not worth the risk.
Disappointing Experience with ServerSupply, Inc.: Failing HDD and Lack of Customer Support
I had a pretty rough time with ServerSupply, Inc. I was in need of a replacement HDD for my Dell D520 computer, so I decided to order a used one from their website. After receiving the drive, I reformatted it and loaded my operating system onto it. However, after only a week of use, the drive started throwing continuous errors, including the dreaded Blue Screen of Death. I ran several disk checks and discovered that the drive was failing, with many bad sectors and clusters. In fact, it was even worse than the original HDD that I had purchased it to replace.
I decided to reach out to ServerSupply via email, explaining the issues I was having and even attaching a picture of the screen showing the errors. Unfortunately, I never received a response from them. I was pretty disappointed with the lack of customer service and support, and I don't think I'll be using their services again in the future.
If you're considering using ServerSupply, I would definitely recommend taking my experience into consideration before making a decision. It's always important to do your research and read reviews before making any purchases online.
ServerSupply Review: Unreliable and Untrustworthy - Don't Waste Your Money
This company, ServerSupply, is not one that I would recommend doing business with. I had a bad experience with them and I don't want to risk not getting my money back for a defective or damaged product just because it was a little late being returned. It's hard to trust a company that doesn't seem to care about their customers. They seem to be more interested in making money than making sure their customers are satisfied. I'm sure their motto is something like "There's a sucker born every minute."
I paid more for a new motherboard because I wanted the software, cables, manual, and everything else that comes with it. But when I received my order, all that was included was one blank CD, one SATA cable, and one I/O shield. That's not what I paid for.
I've done a lot of online transactions and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. I'm not going to do business with them again and I'm sure I'm not the only one. They're going to lose more than just the $55 I paid for the motherboard because I won't be a repeat customer.
Overall, I would not recommend ServerSupply. They don't seem to care about their customers and they don't deliver what they promise. If you're looking for a reliable company to do business with, look elsewhere.
Misleading Purchase: ServerSupply.com Sells Reconditioned Drives Without Disclosure
I recently made a purchase on ServerSupply.com after finding it through a link on PriceWatch.com. I was in need of a Seagate Barracuda ES. 2 drive for our server and thought I had found the perfect solution. However, upon receiving the drive, I was disappointed to find out that it was a reconditioned drive. This was never stated on either PriceWatch or ServerSupply's website.
I decided to give them a call to complain about the situation. The representative I spoke with informed me that if I had clicked on the "Item Details" link, I would have seen at the bottom that it says "CONDITION: SYSTEM PULL CLEAN TESTED". While this may be true, it was not made clear on the main page where the drive was being sold. In fact, they even showed a photo of a new hard drive, which was misleading.
As someone who does this kind of stuff for a living, I know how to shop and order online. It was obvious to me that they were trying to hide the fact that they were selling used drives. I made sure to let them know my thoughts on the matter. Unfortunately, they would only refund my money if I paid to ship the drive back to them. This was frustrating, to say the least.
Overall, my experience with ServerSupply.com was not a positive one. While they may have some good deals, I would caution anyone to be careful when making a purchase. Make sure to read all the fine print and click on all the links before making a decision. It's always better to be safe than sorry.
Serversupply's Lack of Communication and Inventory Transparency
Serversupply is not the best option if you need an item urgently. I recently placed an order through their webstore and emailed them to confirm that the item was in stock. Their representative responded quickly and confirmed that the item was indeed in stock and would be shipped the same day. However, the next day I received an email saying that the item was out of stock and there was no ETA for when they would have more available. I checked their website and the item was removed from their website, which made me think that they just realized they no longer had it available and could not source it.
I decided to call them and ask if they had a similar replacement, but the person I spoke to admitted that he had no familiarity with the item or any possible substitutes that they might have available. I was quite disappointed with this experience. Why waste valuable time and tell customers that an item is in stock when it isn't? At the very least, they should tell customers when parts aren't in stock, so they can order elsewhere if an item is urgently needed.
Overall, I would not recommend Serversupply if you need an item urgently. They seem to have a lack of communication between their representatives and their website, which can lead to frustrating experiences for customers. It's important for companies to be transparent about their inventory and availability, especially when dealing with urgent orders.
Terrible Experience with ServerSupply - Don't Waste Your Money!
I had a really bad experience with ServerSupply and they don't even seem to care about my inquiries after I called them. We bought an ASA for about $500 from them and it came in a non-working condition. We called them on April 23, 2020 and they said they would send us a return mailing label (RMA) so we could send it back for an exchange. We never got the RMA, so on June 1, 2020 we called ServerSupply again and they refused to send us an RMA, saying that the item was now out of its 30-day warranty. They said "why would we take it back when we can't get our money back from the supplier". I wrote to them asking them to fix this problem, but they never responded. I don't think you should do business with this company because they don't stand behind what they sell and they don't know how to treat customers. I'm never going to use this company again and I suggest you stay away from them too!
Disappointing Experience with ServerSupply: Unprofessional Behavior and Confusion
I recently had an experience with ServerSupply that left me feeling confused and frustrated. My son and his friend have been working on building some advanced PC/servers at home, and we've been getting the parts we need from various sources, including Micro Center and online retailers like ServerSupply. Over the weekend, I placed an order for some memory and received an email receipt confirming that my credit card had been charged.
However, the next day I received an email from ServerSupply asking me to wire transfer the payment instead. I was hesitant to do so, as I had never done business with them before and didn't feel comfortable sending money without more information. When I called to ask for clarification, I was met with rudeness and condescension from the customer service representatives. They accused me of fraud and suggested that I was mentally unstable for wanting to build a server at home.
I was completely taken aback by their behavior and felt like they were not taking my concerns seriously. I was worried that they had my credit card information and could potentially use it for fraudulent purposes. When I asked why they couldn't sell me the memory I had ordered, they refused to give me a straight answer and instead continued to insult me.
Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience with ServerSupply. I had hoped to find a reliable source for the parts we need to build our servers, but instead I was met with hostility and confusion. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a trustworthy and professional retailer.
Terrible Customer Service Experience with ServerSupply: Rude Staff, Overpriced Shipping, and Unprofessional Behavior
I had a really bad experience with the customer service staff at ServerSupply. I had a server crash and needed a RAID controller, so I ordered one for $100 and paid almost $70 for priority overnight shipping. Unfortunately, the shipment didn't arrive the next day due to "bad weather". I called to see if I could get a refund on the shipping since I wasn't getting it "next day" and I was going to be out of business for another day. The first person I spoke with, Rahima, was extremely rude and argumentative. She didn't care about my situation at all. I asked to speak to her manager and was put in touch with Michelle. While I was speaking to Michelle, I could hear Rahima in the background talking badly about me. When I asked Michelle if that was Rahima, she lied and said no. But I knew it was her because her voice and accent are very distinct.
Michelle wasn't helpful either, so I asked to speak to her manager. I was put on the phone with a 24-year-old named Chaz. He didn't take my situation seriously and kept giggling every time he said something. He was completely unhelpful and didn't care at all. When I looked up the published FedEx rate for the shipping, I found out that I was charged almost 16% more than the actual rate. When I confronted Chaz about this, he said that's just the rate they charge. He didn't care that they were gouging their customers on shipping.
Chaz refused to offer any help or compensation, so I asked to speak to his manager. He told me he was the last manager to speak to and that the owner, Harun Ahmed, was out of the country and wouldn't be back for 5 weeks. He said he was running the entire business. When I asked for the owner's contact details, Chaz gave me the general number for serversupply.com and said there was no way to get a hold of the owner directly. He also gave me a return date of only 3 weeks out when he had just said the owner wouldn't be back for 5 weeks.
Chaz finally offered to give me a discount on my next order, but he wouldn't give me any details about what kind of discount it would be. He told me to just call in and ask for him. This was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. I have never dealt with such rude and uncaring customer service staff before. I would advise everyone to take their business elsewhere.
Update: I was supposed to receive the controller I ordered, but it was rerouted back to ServerSupply. When I called to ask why, Chaz said it was because I had put out negative reviews about them. This is completely unethical and I urge everyone to stay away from this company.

Dell MD32 controller from Serversupply.
Our company purchased a Dell MD32 controller from Serversupply. The person who was supposed to install the unit could not come into our office because he was sick and didn't want to infect anyone. By the time he came into the office the 30-day warranty window had expired. I contacted Server Supply by email informing them of our situation of receiving a nonfunctioning controller upon delivery. I offered to send the unit back to them so they could see that it was not abused requesting a working replacement. They refused. I believe we were cheated. I don't write reviews often but I felt I needed to warn other buyers to beware.
Desired outcome: Replace the defective unit with an operational one.
Disappointed with ServerSupply: Phone arrived without power adapter and poor customer service
Ordered a phone from ServerSupply and was pretty excited to receive it. However, when it arrived, I was disappointed to find out that it didn't come with a power adapter. I mean, what's the point of having a phone if you can't even charge it, right? I tried contacting their customer service to see if they could help me out, but they told me that they didn't carry the adapter and that I would have to pay a 25% restocking fee if I wanted to return the phone. I mean, come on, that's just ridiculous. So now I'm stuck with a phone that I can't even use. Not cool, ServerSupply. Not cool at all.
Disappointing Experience with ServerSupply: Poor Customer Service and Overpriced Products
Yo, I gotta say, my experience with ServerSupply was straight up whack. Like, I wasn't feeling it at all. First off, their customer service was straight up garbage. I had a problem with the product I got from them and they were no help at all. And don't even get me started on the price. They charged me way too much for what I got. And then, when I tried to return it, they made me pay for the shipping myself. Like, what kind of nonsense is that? I wouldn't recommend doing business with ServerSupply, fam. Save yourself the trouble and find a better supplier.

Disappointing Experience with ServerSupply: Wrong Model Sent and Poor Customer Service
I recently ordered some power supplies for my servers from ServerSupply, but unfortunately, they sent me the wrong model number. I specifically requested the exact model number, but they sent me a different one that doesn't fit. When I contacted them about the issue, they told me that their computer system indicated that it was a replacement for the part number I requested. However, when my tech tried to install it, it wouldn't fit at all.
I was really disappointed with the situation because I stressed how important it was that I received the correct parts as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any response from them, which made the situation even more frustrating.
Overall, I think ServerSupply needs to improve their communication and customer service. It's important for them to understand that their customers rely on them to provide accurate and timely service. I hope they can learn from this experience and make the necessary changes to ensure that their customers are satisfied with their services.
Warning: Terrible Experience with ServerSupply - Don't Waste Your Money!
I gotta tell ya, I had a pretty rough experience with ServerSupply. I was really excited to get my hands on a new server with an original HP warranty, but when it arrived, it was totally dead! I was so disappointed. When I reached out to their customer service team, they told me that the warranty had expired and there was nothing they could do to help me out. I couldn't believe it!
To make matters worse, the server they sent me was a total piece of junk. It was two years old, put together with non-matching parts, and covered in scratches and dust. I felt like I had been totally screwed over. I mean, I spent $3,418 on this thing!
I decided to take action and filed consumer protection claims against ServerSupply. I'm even considering suing them, because this whole experience has been such a headache. I just want to warn other people out there to be careful when dealing with this company. Don't make the same mistake I did and end up out of pocket for a crappy, useless server.
Buyer Beware: ServerSupply Fails to Honor Warranties on Faulty Seagate HDs
I bought 21 Seagate HD's from ServerSupply back in August. It was a big purchase for me, and I was excited to get them all set up. However, less than 6 months later, 5 of those drives have failed. I was pretty upset about it, especially since I had spent so much money on them.
When I contacted ServerSupply about the issue, they told me that there was nothing they could do because it was past the 30 day warranty period. I was pretty frustrated by this, especially since it wasn't just one drive that had failed - it was five of them! I mean, come on, that's a pretty high failure rate.
To make matters worse, I contacted Seagate about the issue and learned that ServerSupply is not an authorized dealer of Seagate products. This means that Seagate would not honor their warranty, even though the drives were Seagate products. I was really disappointed by this, as I had trusted ServerSupply to provide me with quality products.
Overall, I would not recommend ServerSupply to anyone looking to purchase computer hardware. Their lack of support and failure to honor warranties is a major red flag, and I would hate to see anyone else go through what I did.
Nightmare Experience with ServerSupply.com: A Total Rip-Off
I gotta say, my experience with serversupply.com was a total nightmare. I mean, this website is a total rip-off, and I had to learn that the hard way. I placed an order for a hard disk, and at first, they told me that the part was in stock and charged me for it. But then, the very next day, they sent me an email saying that the part was actually out of stock and that I could either cancel my order or wait for a whole month for delivery. Can you believe that?
And to make matters worse, the amount they charged me was non-refundable! I mean, what kind of scam is this? I was so frustrated and angry, I couldn't believe it. I mean, I trusted this website, and they just let me down like that. It's just not right.
So, if you're thinking about using serversupply.com, I would definitely think twice. I mean, if they can't even keep their inventory straight and charge you for products they don't even have, then what else are they doing wrong? It's just not worth the risk, in my opinion.
Terrible Experience with ServerSupply: False Advertising and No Customer Support
I had a terrible experience with ServerSupply. I was so excited to order 8 IBM Fiber Hard Drives Dual Channel from them. I waited a few weeks to install them because I had to schedule downtime. When I finally installed them, I was so disappointed to find out that they were all single channel drives. I was so frustrated that I tried to reach out to ServerSupply, but they never answered back. I even went to my AMEX and BBB, but I didn't get any positive results. It was so frustrating because the part number on the box did not match the part number on the hard drive. I was so disappointed and I felt like I wasted my money. I would not recommend ServerSupply to anyone. If you see a good deal on their website, don't be fooled. Run away from it as fast as you can.
Unreliable and Unresponsive: My Experience with ServerSupply
I gotta say, I wouldn't recommend ServerSupply. We ordered some parts for our server from them, and they said they had them in stock. We went ahead and processed their payment and sent them the proof of payment, but then they hit us with some bad news. Apparently, they tested the parts and found out they were faulty. So they said they'd reimburse us.
But here's the thing: it's been over two months now, and we haven't seen a dime. We've tried reaching out to them on Skype and through email, but it seems like they've blocked us or something. Thomas, the guy we were talking to, kept saying we should give them some time and that they were waiting for a credit check to come through. But now it seems like they're just ignoring us.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this supplier to anyone. It's been a real headache dealing with them, and we're still out the money we spent on those faulty parts. Save yourself the trouble and go with someone else.
Terrible Customer Service: My Experience with ServerSupply
I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with ServerSupply. I ordered some merchandise from them and was left in the dark about where it was shipped. I tried emailing them multiple times, but it seemed like my messages were just disappearing into the void. And when I finally got through to them on the phone, they treated me like I was a total bother. I mean, come on, I just wanted to know where my stuff was!
Eventually, I did get one reply from someone at the site, but it was pretty unhelpful. They just asked "What's this all about?" and didn't seem to care about my previous emails. I even sent them copies of my previous inquiries, but I never heard back from them.
Honestly, unless you happen to live on Long Island and can just drive over to pick up your merchandise, I'd recommend avoiding these guys. It's just not worth the hassle and frustration.
Disappointing Experience with ServerSupply: Defective Hard Drives and Poor Customer Service
So, I bought a couple of Fujitsu U320 147GB 10K hard drives from ServerSupply as spares for my SCSI disc array. I was pretty excited to get them, but I didn't end up using them until about 80 days after I bought them. Unfortunately, when I finally got around to using them, I discovered that they were defective. I was pretty bummed out about it, but I figured it wouldn't be a big deal to exchange them for some working ones.
Well, I was wrong. When I contacted Serversupply.com about the defective drives, they told me that they couldn't exchange them because it had been more than 30 days since I bought them. I was pretty frustrated by this, but I figured I'd try to work something out with them. I suggested that they take both drives back and just send me one replacement drive, but they refused that as well.
I understand that they have a 30 day return policy, but it still feels like they're selling shoddy merchandise and refusing to stand behind it. I mean, I get it, they're technically within their rights to refuse my request, but it just seems like bad business to me. If they were a good merchant, they would have done something to help me out.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with ServerSupply. I don't think I'll be buying anything from them again in the future.
It has been an absolute disaster serversupply.com.
It has been an absolute disaster serversupply.com. This website is a complete scam, and I found this out the hard way. I ordered a hard disk from their site.
Firstly they confirmed the part availability and charged us for the product. The next day they emailed me saying that the product I ordered was out of stock and that I should either cancel my order or wait another month for delivery!
The charged amount turned out to be non-refundable! This is a complete scam!
bait and switch pricing
I ordered several parts from serversupply.com and immediately I recieved an invoice with my payment details. All the parts said they were in stock and would be shipping immediately. Two days later I get a call from a serversupply representative telling me that one of the parts I had ordered was out of stock. She said they would be able to get it in an additional 2 to 3 days but that the price would be several hundred dollars more. To me this was unacceptable as I had purchased the part and paid with my credit card two days prior at one price and now they're trying to tell me that I have to pay more.
In the end I had to cancel my entire order with them. They refused to honor the price that I had purchased the equipment from their website at and their customer service representatives refused to do anything. I will never do business with serversupply.com again and I don't recommend that anyone else does either. Terrible business practices and terrible customer service.
Our company purchased three servers from Serversupply
Do not buy anything from this website www.serversupply.com, it's a real scam! Too bad I did not read the reviews!
Our company purchased three servers from Serversupply and two of them arrived completely dead. When we wanted to return them we found out that warranty they gave us was expired! These scammers said that there was nothing they could do. They cheated us, sold us broken servers with an expired warranty and refused to refund our money. We reported these scammers and will sue them if they will not give us our money back. Avoid at all costs!
I found that they sent me a scratched up used HARD DRIVE
Stay away from these guys. They did not send a tracking/confirmation email until I requested one. When it finally arrived 10 days after ordering, I found that they sent me a scratched up used HARD DRIVE WD 1600.It were made 06 Nov.2007.They sell usedREFURBISHED DRIVE.Their website and invoice (enclosed in the package!) clearly stated "new". When emailed they did not reply. When I called their Long Island City NY telephone number, they told me that I had made the mistake by sending it back! When asked if they would follow up by sending out a "new" unit they said no. When asked what about my order, they stated, "We will issue a refund"... I can only wonder when!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Ordered 4 items, received 2. Charged for express shipping to reship the missing items. Bad practice, bad business, unreliable.

Definitely not a company I'll do business with again
"Definitely not a company I'll do business with again. I'll spend more elsewhere rather than risk not getting my money back for a defective/damaged product because it was a little late being returned. Kind of difficult to trust a company that sees no problem with these kinds of business practices. A company that cares more about the bottom line than customer satisfaction. I am sure that their motto is - There's a sucker born every minute... They will probably lose more because of my lack of repeat business than the $55 the motherboard cost. Which by the way, I paid more for a new one rather than used because I wanted the software, cables, manual, etc. but all that was included was 1 blank cd, 1 sata cable and 1 I/O shield. Out of the numerous on-line transactions I have completed, this order was without a doubt the worst experience I have had... EVER!
Will never use server supply again
I ordered a used replacement HDD for a Dell D520 computer. After re-formatting the drive and loading my operating system, I ran the drive for about a week when it started throwing continuous errors, BSOD and so on. After running several disk checks, I realized that this was a failing HDD with many bad sectors and clusters. Much worse than my original HDD that this one was purchased to replace.
I emailed Server Supply with an explanation of the problems and a picture of the screen showing the errors asking for a replacement, but never received a response.
I chalked this up to a bad experience and will never use server supply again but I also want to make sure anyone else who considers using them can at least consider my experience before doing so.

Your complaint is contradictory. You said it ran fine for a week. There's no way anyone could know it was going to fail. Maybe your computer is suffering from hardware corruption due to failing components or some other problem. Nobody knows.
You should have checked the drives' internal controller to see how many hours were on it and whether it had suffered any read errors in the past, before using it. But you don't sound like a tech so.
