She also explained the process. We been using SFX for a long time. They were very understanding in helping us with our trip to Hawaii which we had to reschedule due to Covid.

Representative *** was great in getting our membership restored and in the subsequent booking of a San Francisco getaway at a fantastic price. She was very persistent in reaching out through our busy schedules and was a real pleasure to work with.

The *** staff is always top-notch when it comes to knowledge, courtesy and professionalism. The only reason I gave it four stars and not five is because getting a destination you want is not always possible, even if you request it years in advance -- it totally depends upon which timeshare weeks have been banked. However, we have often been pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the resorts we stayed in, and at the last-minute availability of desirable resorts. Bottom line, you need to be flexible.

I feel like I got ripped off. They were selling $55 packages and sounded great so I bought 4, but before I bought them I advise the person, if I can upgrade them to all inclusive and she said yes, I will have to do it with the hotel, and she told me from her personal experience, it would be 150-200 more, so I bought them. She failed to tell me it's a person, per night. This is ridiculous, I can go on other sites and buy a package with all inclusive, flight and hotel for more than half the price. I just wasted my money on this company.

SFX is a smaller/boutique Timeshare Exchange company. While their inventory may not be as great as Interval or RCI, their customer service is top notch. During COVID they had a more than generous cancellation/replacement policy (especially compared to Interval and RCI). If you run into any issues, they will try to remedy them ASAP and are willing to work with their customers. All of their reps have been extremely courteous and responsive. I deposit multiple weeks with them every year and typically request Vidanta resorts in Mexico although they have good inventory in Hawaii with Hilton as well. The fees are reasonable (especially compared to the competition).

I am more than satisfied because of the care I get from *** & *** (last names unknown) who are the best and most skilled and compassionate reps. They try extra hard to make me and all those I have referred to SFX very pleased. I chose to deposit my Mayan Palace week with SFX because of Michelle and Nathan who are always available to help. If all companies had these two working for them they would have very happy and pleased members and be #1 in the industry. Thank You SFX for having reps available like the two of them! I have renewed my membership and deposited my timeshare to SFX because of the care I get from them!

SFX really came through for us, securing a trade-in for our usual timeshare.
SFX really came through for us and was able to secure a trade-in for our regular timeshare property that we own, since they had sold out early due to COVID-19 restrictions on occupancy. They found us an excellent replacement property in the same locale and used one of our credits to get us the maximum benefit as Diamond Members. We had specific needs traveling with another couple and SFX was able to hold the property for us until they could confirm that all of them would be met, by making multiple phone calls to the resort for confirmation on each request. They went the extra mile to accommodate us and it was EXCELLENT customer service. SFX will be our key contact for future travel needs.

We finally used our Gold SFX Membership this October. We were given a quote to go to Embarc Vancouver for $499USD + Parking. We checked out on Oct 13th at the desk. One week later we were called while staying at Embarc Whistler that we neglected to pay the $21.50 per day resort fee for the amenities. This was not disclosed when we booked with SFX. It was not disclosed when we arrived at the hotel. The parking was disclosed when we booked as well as when we checked in. It was not disclosed when we checked out at the desk. We did not sneak out without paying. However, we get a call a week later to disrupt our new vacation stay. There is no resort fee at Embarc Whistler and they have amenities that are open. I am so insulted and upset. This was our first time using SFX and Embarc. We even went to the presentation this morning. This is not a good experience for us. Thanks for ruining our confidence in your companies.

They did an amazing job for me
They did an amazing job for me. I have owned timeshares since 1994 and now have 3 of them. I think this was the best exchange I have ever had. They did it, and in just 1 day. I booked a bonus week for less than 600 dollars at a premium property in Cabo San Lucas. I haven't booked a bonus week in a few years and called to understand the terms fully. They answered all my questions patiently. Having navigated the timeshare community for 27 years was beneficial, and I know the questions to ask. Yes, over the years, I've had some mishaps, but this was a smooth, easy transaction. Earlier this year, I reduced my vacation memberships to 2. I kept SFX, which I pay for, and Interval, which comes with my dues, and dropped a couple of others. For those new to booking vacations this way with an SFX membership, you're likely to find a fair deal, perhaps even a great one.

The first two years the membership was diamond as part of my purchase with Vidanta. I have been a member of SFX for many years. For the first couple of years I did not use it as I always returned to one of the seven Vidanta locations in Mexico. After the second year expired I was approached by an offer to renew and upgrade. The sales pitch was somewhat aggressive and I refused. That was repeated again after 6 months with less aggression but I still did not like the approach and I refused. Later on I was in contact with ***, one of their customer service staff. I can't remember why there was contact however the level of service that I received to help locate a resort was courteous and pleasant. After that initial contact I always insist on dealing with *** as I know I will be treated as a friend and a respected client. It is through *** that I acquired a 10 year renewal because she took the time to explain the benefits and not try to make a sale at any cost. She continues to keep in contact with me sometimes just to say hello and see if my family is well. I advise her of what type of resort and date I am looking for and she will advise when she finds it. I have the option to accept or reject. I have never had a bad experience with the resorts she has located for my family, She is always pleasant and caring. I am giving a five stars because without the level of service from *** it would be 3 and one half stars.

I booked two weeks with SFX Preferred Resorts before the pandemic hit on 07/31
I booked two weeks with SFX Preferred Resorts before the pandemic hit on 07/31. The original booking said there would be a $75 resort fee for each week. But on 01/13, both vacation weeks got canceled because of the pandemic. The resort was closed, and I couldn't travel. When I tried to rebook the weeks, they told me that the resort fee was now $62 PER NIGHT for each 7-night vacation. This increased the cost by $600, and I couldn't get a refund for the weeks I bought.

Horrible service. Always an issue with cruises after you book, the cruise line doesn't see the promotions, then you wait over two hours to speak to someone to try to fix. I bought for 10 years, never again.
