Bean Dip is not Bean-Cheese Dip
I ordered 24 bottles of Dessert Pepper Pinto Bean Dip because we like it so much and it has become now impossible to find (can't figure out why Desert Pepper decided to quit making it). ShelHealth sent me 24 bottles of Dessert Pepper Bean Cheese Dip instead. My wife and I can't stand the taste, and we couldn't find even one taker after we took some for tasting to a large gathering of friends. ShelHealth has not responded to any of my many phone calls or emails. And, they continue to send me advertisements for the Pinto Bean Dip!
Recommendation: Unscrupulous company- I recommend staying away from them.

I recently bought some Paesana spaghetti sauces from ShelHealth for $130. I was really excited to try them out because I couldn't find them anywhere in Wisconsin. Unfortunately, when the package arrived, I found that three of the 35 lbs glass jars were ruined in shipping. I don't think it was the shipper's fault though, because the jars were packed in a large, light duty cardboard box.
I reached out to ShelHealth via text to see if I could get a refund or replacement for the damaged jars. I even sent them photos to prove the damage. Unfortunately, I didn't get a response from them and I had to wash all the other jars before I could even bring them into my house.
I paid $35 for shipping, which I think is a bit steep. Overall, I don't think ShelHealth is a very trustworthy company. I'm giving them three stars for shipping because only about 66% of the jars arrived intact. I hope they can improve their packaging and customer service in the future.

So, I recently ordered 2 black diamond crepe myrtle mystic magenta trees from ShelHealth. Unfortunately, when I received them, one of the major limbs of one of the trees was 66% severed. I immediately sent a picture of the damaged tree to ShelHealth and they sent me the return paperwork to return it to Sam's club who sells them for $15 less. I was not happy about this as it felt like extortion to me. I mean, they should sell their own products, right?
Anyway, I returned the damaged tree to Sam's club and they received it back on 4/14. However, it's been 8 days since then and ShelHealth has yet to return my money. When I called their number, all I got was a recording telling me to email them. This is clearly confrontation avoidance and it's not acceptable. ShelHealth is a crappy company on a good day and they don't even have the balls to address their dysfunctional issues. They really need to man up their organization or roll the heck out.
If I don't have any type of contact or refund by 4/25, I will be pursuing this with the Better Business Bureau. It's just not right to treat customers this way. I hope ShelHealth can get their act together and start providing better service to their customers.

You're not going to take any responsibility for this?
And get this: they actually told me that the cookies were still edible, so they didn't take any responsibility for their condition. Are you kidding me? I might as well have just set my money on fire instead of ordering from this place. They clearly don't care about the quality of their products or the satisfaction of their customers. And they shouldn't be blaming the shipping company for their own issues.
Oh, and let me tell you about the plastic containers these cookies come in. They're like little plastic bubbles that surround each individual cookie, keeping them separated from each other. But as you can see in the photos I took, many of the cookie tops were smashed. And that's because the packer used the "give" in the plastic packaging to smash down the containers and close the shipping box. It's just ridiculous.
And to top it all off, I never received any communication that my order was shipped, and I didn't get any tracking data either. So I was completely in the dark about when my order was going to arrive.
Honestly, I'm just really disappointed that I didn't look into reviews before placing my order. Because if I had, I would have seen that there are so many other people out there with similar poor experiences when it comes to shipping food items and the lack of care in packaging. So save yourself the trouble and don't order from ShelHealth.
