The total cost of the returned items was $248 and I shipped them back using USPS priority. After several weeks of tracking the package, I knew that Skinceticals had received my items. I contacted them to inquire about my refund and was promised that it would be processed by 9/12/22.
However, when I called back to follow up on my refund, I was hung up on twice and told that I needed to submit my tracking information. I was confused as to why I needed to do this when I had already received an email from them confirming that they had received my items. Eventually, they sent me an email saying that I would be refunded "in their systems time".
Overall, I believe that Skinceticals is an expensive line of skincare products that is sold in doctor's offices and is of great quality. However, their customer service is abysmal and I will never buy anything from them or their parent company, L'Or?al, again. It's a shame that such a great product is let down by poor customer service.

It's been ten days since I placed my first order and nine since I first contacted Skinceuticals.com regarding this problem. Still, no one has an explanation for how the company "lost" the record of my order but managed to retain my credit card number and then attempted to charge that card approximately 450 times. It's frustrating that they can't seem to keep track of my personal information and don't seem to care about it.
Although no pending charges have accrued in the past six days, Skinceuticals still can't explain what went wrong, and these pending charges still show up on my account. They are still "looking into it," but I'm not sure if they will ever find a solution.
Overall, I'm disappointed with Skinceuticals.com and their lack of professionalism. I hope they can fix this issue and prevent it from happening to other customers in the future.
