So, I saw this ad for Specific Beauty and they said it's only affordable a month, but they didn't tell me they were gonna charge me extra. I tried to cancel before they shipped it, but they said no way and hung up on me when I told them it's my rent money. I never said they could take out additional funds from my account. They should have told me the actual cost when I signed up, but it was in tiny print. They need to be honest with us, not deceive us! They said they'd refund me, but they never did. I emailed customer service and got no response.

I ordered the 30 day kit to try it out and then decided to get the big kit. When I got it, I only got the Cleanser and Skin Brightening Serum because the Active Brightening Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 30 was out of stock. They said they'd send me (3) 0.7 ounce bottles to make up for it but they only sent me one. I asked them to cancel my membership but they still haven't sent me my stuff. Plus, their Customer Service doesn't even answer emails.

I sent a screenshot of my bank statement on 4/1, but customer service hung up on me when I asked for a supervisor. When I finally got a supervisor, they couldn't see the payment from March 18th.

I placed the order on August 1 or 2, 2020, and they quoted me $64.23. They put a hold on my bank card. The next day, they charged me another $64.74 without my permission. I called them and they said they made a mistake and had to charge me the right amount. They didn't tell me about the mistake or ask me if it was okay to charge me again. I told them I didn't trust them and wanted to cancel my order. They said they cancelled it and would refund me in a few days. But I didn't get my money back, so I called them again. They said they shipped the order and I had to return it to get a refund. I refused delivery when it came. It's now August 21st and I still haven't gotten my $64.74 back.

Specific Beauty sent me some emails asking me to rate the products, but I didn't reply until August 2, when they said they were sending me more stuff and charging me $47.01. I canceled the order right away on PayPal on 8/3. I called Specific Beauty on 8/3, but they were closed. I called again on 8/4, and they said they couldn't cancel the order because it was already being shipped. They said my account was closed and told me to refuse the package when it arrived. I'm annoyed because I thought I did everything to stop them from sending me more stuff. PayPal contacted Specific Beauty to ask about my closed account, but Specific Beauty didn't tell them that I wanted a refund. So, PayPal won't give me my money back unless I get proof from Specific Beauty that my account is closed. Specific Beauty didn't email me on 8/4 to say my account was closed, so I asked again on 8/10. They said I have to wait 48 more hours for the request to be made. I don't trust Specific Beauty to do the right thing, and PayPal only gave me a week to get the proof.

On 06/03 I called to cancel and receive my money back guarantee from Specific Beauty. I told Customer Service that the product did NOTHING for my skin after 30 days, which I fell SOMETHING should have happened, but NO Change to my skin. I was told that I had to WAIT for a shipping labeling to send the product back. I asked could it be emailed, I was told NO and I had to wait 7 to 10 business days. It has now been MORE THAN 10 business days and yes, they are open on Saturdays. I called on 06/10 after I picked up my mail from my PO Box only to find a letter from them telling me they were not able to debit my account. Of course, I am furious! When I called customer service, we had a very BIG language barrier because the customer service person, Leion, was his name, BARELY spoke English!
