Skybooker.com Review: Scammers Selling Non-Refundable Tickets to Cancelled Flights
I gotta tell ya, I had a pretty bad experience with skybooker.com. I mean, I ain't no expert on booking flights or anything, but I thought I did everything right. I bought 4 tickets for me and my family for a total of $6,022.60. But then, the pandemic hit and our flight got cancelled. I was pretty bummed out, but I figured we'd get our money back, right?
Well, Air Canada refunded their portion of the ticket cost ($3,499.08) in January of 2021, but skybooker.com didn't refund their part ($2,523.52). I tried contacting them several times, both through email and phone calls, but they kept telling me that my refund was being processed and that I just had to wait a little longer. I mean, I get it, things are tough with the pandemic and all, but come on. It's been months.
Finally, on July 7th, 2021, they straight up told me that they weren't gonna give me my money back. Why? Because I bought discounted tickets and apparently they were non-refundable. But wait a minute, the flights were cancelled! How does that make any sense? It's like they're selling tickets to flights that don't even exist. I don't know how they get away with this kind of stuff.
So, let me tell you, don't give your money to these scammers. I know it might be tempting to save a few bucks by booking through a third-party site like skybooker.com or farestore.com (which, by the way, is the same company), but it's just not worth it. Pay the extra money and buy your tickets directly from the airline. Trust me, it'll save you a lot of headaches in the long run.
SkyBooker Review: Unreliable, Untrustworthy, and Will Not Honor Their Commitments
I recently had an experience with SkyBooker that left me feeling very disappointed. I had purchased a ticket for my daughter's college trip overseas before COVID-19 hit, and I also purchased travel insurance through SkyBooker. However, when the trip and flight with Lufthansa were cancelled due to the pandemic, I discovered that SkyBooker had never bound the travel insurance. This meant that I was unable to file a claim and get my money back.
When I tried to get a refund from SkyBooker, they apologized for their mistake but were unable to give me my money back. I was frustrated and angry, and I decided to file a dispute with Citibank. However, Max from SkyBooker called me and begged me to lift the dispute, promising that they would refund my money if I did so. I foolishly agreed to lift the dispute, hoping that SkyBooker would do the right thing.
Unfortunately, SkyBooker has given me every excuse in the book for why they can't give me my money back. I am now out $1,243, and I feel like I have been robbed by a bunch of thieves. Lufthansa has extended the option to rebook the flight until January 31, 2021, but I am not sure if we will be able to use the flight voucher given the current travel environment.
Overall, I would strongly advise against using SkyBooker for any travel bookings. They are unreliable, untrustworthy, and will not honor their commitments. Save yourself the headache and book your travel elsewhere.
SkyBooker Refund Scam: My Experience and Pursuit of a Class Action Lawsuit
I've been trying to cancel my flights to Europe since March because of the pandemic. SkyBooker offered me a refund of 54% for my tickets, which cost about $1,200. After a few different refund offers, I finally settled for a refund of $950, which is about 80%. At first, I was willing to overlook the fact that they were withholding some of my funds, even though that's against the travel acts put in place around COVID. I just wanted to get my money back as soon as possible.
But it's been almost 60 business days since they told me I would get my refund in 14 business days. I've been reaching out to them periodically, but all they tell me is that they emailed their refund department and are waiting for a reply. I don't think I'll ever get my money back. This feels like a scam to me.
I'm not the only one who's been affected by this. There are many other consumers in similar situations to me. I'm actively pursuing a class action lawsuit against SkyBooker. If you've been impacted by this too, please email me at ***@gmail.com. We can add your name to the list of impacted consumers. Even if we can't all get our money back, I just want to put an end to their predatory business practices.
SkyBooker Review: Terrible Customer Service and Scam - Do Not Use!
Me and my hubby had a trip planned to go overseas to visit my folks in 2020. But, thanks to the COVID restrictions, we had to cancel the trip. We tried to rebook it as our honeymoon, but it was canceled again because of COVID. We tried to rebook it for the second time, but we were charged for additional flights which we didn't want or approve beyond our available credit. At this point, all flights have been canceled, but SkyBooker is no longer willing or able to assist us in any way. I have called and emailed them 60+ times to try to resolve the issue and rebook the trip. But, they were unwilling to even tell me what credit they have listed on the account, much less provide a refund or rebooking. We were denied a refund on fees which were refunded by the airlines due to COVID, yet were told that this was the reason we couldn't get any of that money back. I'm extremely displeased with the service received, and especially with the "manager" Max. He began ignoring my calls and continually told me he "just needed one more day and would call me tomorrow", which he never did. Max is an extremely poor communicator, and a disgrace as a manager. I can't believe that this business is such a scam. We spent thousands of dollars on this trip and will never get the money back. Skybooker cannot be trusted and should never be used to book a trip.
Beware of SkyBooker: My Experience with Cancelled Flights and Refunds
So, I gotta tell you about my experience with SkyBooker. When everything started going crazy, I gave them a call to see what our options were. The person on the phone said we could cancel, but we'd have to pay a penalty. They also said that if the flights got cancelled, we could get a full refund. I decided to wait and see what happened.
Well, our flight to Europe in July got cancelled at the end of June. I found out on my own and called SkyBooker to see what we could do. They said we could get a refund or a credit for a future flight, but we had to use the voucher by January 2021. I didn't know when the concerts we were going to would be rescheduled, so I went for the refund. They said it could take up to 90 days to get the money back, but they didn't mention any fees.
Today, I got an email saying we could either get a refund of $1810.44 or a credit for the same amount that we could use to book a trip to Europe within the next 2 years. But get this - the amount they're offering is way less than what we paid, and less than what they would have given us if we cancelled in April like I originally wanted to.
I feel like I've been lied to by SkyBooker. I'm warning you, be careful with this company.
Avoid SkyBooker at all costs: My worst travel company experience
This is the worst experience I have ever had with a travel company. I strongly advise you to avoid SkyBooker at all costs.
I purchased a ticket to Morocco, but unfortunately, due to the pandemic, my flight was cancelled. A year later, I tried to use my credit to book another flight. I found a flight that was only $10 more than my credit, but then they asked me to pay an additional $125 for "fees". I agreed to pay the extra fees because this was the trip of my dreams.
However, it has now been a month, and they still have not reissued my ticket. I called them to ask about the status, but they were extremely inconsiderate and told me that I needed to pay an additional $650 on top of the voucher. I was furious because I had been following up with them every week, and they had told me that my ticket was still processing.
I called Delta to see if they could help, but unfortunately, it was out of their hands. However, the Delta customer service representative was very kind and explained to me that SkyBooker had my money and could reissue my ticket at any time, but they were refusing to do so.
I called SkyBooker again and asked about the status of my ticket, but they told me to call back later and then hung up on me. At this point, I highly doubt that I will ever get my ticket reissued, and I am now out $850 on top of having to buy another ticket to go on my dream trip.
I will never use this company again, and I strongly advise you to avoid them as well. I literally begged them to help me because this is the trip of my absolute dreams, but they still refused to help me. I have been waiting for 24 years to go on this trip, and now it seems like it may never happen.
SkyBooker Flight Scam: Beware of This Company!
So, my fianc? thought he had found a great deal on SkyBooker for a flight for me and my mother. But boy, were we wrong! The company sent us an email asking for certain documents and a document to sign that said they could charge the total amount on my fianc?'s credit card and that we were satisfied with their customer service. That already seemed fishy to me, but my fianc? trusted it and signed it. The next day, they asked for even more documents, including a copy of our Visa cards and passports. That was a huge red flag, but I sent the information anyway. I kept calling to follow up, but they kept giving me the runaround. One guy even said he would try to charge the card while I was on the line, but then said I had to wait because the payment department was busy. Later that day, another guy said he couldn't find my confirmation number and that the flight had been canceled due to a change in price. It was all a scam! They were just trying to get our credit card and passport information. I'm definitely reporting them to the FTC. Don't trust this company!
SkyBooker: A Scamming Company That Needs to Be Shut Down!
These guys at SkyBooker are a bunch of scammers! I've been trying to get my refund for months now, but their manager Severin and his employees Claudia, Neha, and Daniella keep giving me the runaround. They all tell me different things and switch their stories whenever it's convenient for them. I keep asking for proof that I opted for future credit instead of a refund when the pandemic hit, but they can't give me any. They say I chose it, but I was never given the option to pick which one. It's all a bunch of BS!
Severin is the worst of the bunch. He's so unprofessional and contradicts himself all the time. He'll say one thing one minute and then completely change his story the next. He even ignored me when I sent him proof of all their lies and attempts to not refund me. It's ridiculous!
Their website doesn't even work half the time, and their phones are always ringing with no answer. They know they're going to get a bunch of angry customers cussing them out. I'm out $1300, and I've sent over 100 emails, left voicemails, called over 50 times, and live chatted with Severin, only for him to ignore me after I caught him in his lies and hypocrisy. It's infuriating!
I know I'm not the only one who's been scammed by this so-called "company." Many of us have proof of their fraudulent activities. They shouldn't be allowed to get away with it. It's been two years since I bought my flight, and they only stopped emailing me when they realized I wasn't going to give up. They're good for nothing scammers and frauds!
The airlines have confirmed that they sent the money back to SkyBooker, so they should have everyone's refund. It's outrageous that they're still holding onto our money. I'm looking into legal action, and I encourage others to do the same. If enough of us take legal action, they'll have to refund us all or even pay us 2-10 times the amount they owe us. Don't let these scammers get away with it!
SkyBooker Review: A Nightmare Vacation Experience - Deceitful, Dishonest, and Fraudulent Company
This company, SkyBooker, is a complete disaster. They promised me a great vacation package, but instead, they gave me a nightmare. The flight tickets were the only thing that was delivered as promised. The hotel room and insurance were a complete disaster. When I asked about my hotel confirmation, they sent me three other options that were 30 minutes away from my location as an "upgrade". Additionally, the original booking, which I paid for, a Superior double room, was replaced with a basic economy room.
To make matters worse, they charged my hotel portion the same price with the added price of the insurance included. Therefore, my card was charged the complete package price with insurance included, however, I only received the flight and a very downgraded hotel room and not insurance. I informed them of their mistake a few days after booking so they had plenty of time to correct the issue. I was also with the hotel directly, to verify any 'changes' they made were correct. Day after day, I was told they are waiting on the hotel and to wait 24 hrs. And then again to wait 24 hrs.
Additionally, they acted like there were different workers when it is really only a team of about 5 people in total. Every time, I was told the changes were made by SkyBooker, the hotel confirmed nothing was corrected. The last issue was a "voucher" that supposedly showed the correct room was reserved, however, the same "basic economy" room was the one selected. SkyBooker was successfully able to take a relatively stress-free booking process and turn it into a NIGHTMARE, with no honor or integrity in their contract.
The customer service only provided lies, deceit, excuses, and a complete destruction of the vacation process. This company is a SCAM, SCAM, SCAM. Please stay away unless you want an enormous amount of stress and the inability to receive what you paid for. Additionally, when confronted with the information of reserving a superior 25 square meter room versus a standard 12 square meter room, SkyBooker Shanu acted like I had the 25m2 room booked, however, when talking with the hotel, she said that they have a different measuring system there and that 25 square meters did not mean 25 square meters, although those were the two EXACT sizes of rooms the hotel provided. Nothing but lies, deceit, and more lies. STAY VERY FAR AWAY.
I cannot express how horrible a company this is and how deceitful, dishonest, fraudulent this company is! This is only but the briefest of the horrible experience I've had. NO OTHER agency in my entire life has been close to the unprofessionalism and fraudulent activity this company has. RUNRUN!
Also, their website is very misleading. They advertise a "Double Basic" room as 12m2 and a "Double with double bed" as 25m2. However, when I booked the "Superior Double" room, which was supposed to be 25m2, they gave me a basic economy room instead. This company is a complete scam and I would not recommend it to anyone.
SkyBooker: Worst Airline Reservation Agency Out There - A Review
I gotta say, I've been around the block a few times when it comes to travel, but SkyBooker really takes the cake for worst airline reservation agency out there. And let me tell you, dealing with the fallout from the Corona Virus is bad enough without having to deal with these jokers. I mean, I travel internationally at least twice a year, and domestically even more than that. My parents were travel agents, so I know a thing or two about the industry. And let me tell you, whatever scam SkyBooker is trying to pull on customers should be illegal.
So here's the deal. Last year, I had to postpone a trip due to Covid and surgery. SkyBooker assured me that I would receive a voucher and that it would be applied when I was ready to rebook. Well, I finally got around to it, and I had to modify my flight to connect in Amsterdam instead of Charles de Gaulle because I was traveling alone and still recovering from the surgery. I found a few flights that would work and contacted SkyBooker to see if they could help me out. They told me that the difference in cost was $198, which was fine. But then they sent me another email saying that the difference was actually $337. I was like, "Uh, no thanks."
So I decided to book the flight myself on their website using the voucher. I found the exact flight I wanted, applied the voucher, and got a confirmation with the new flight and price. But then, out of nowhere, a SkyBooker agent contacted me and said that I owed them an additional $337. I was livid. This has been going on for two weeks now, and I've had to contact the airlines and my credit card company to try and sort it out.
The airline was sympathetic, but there was nothing they could do because I booked with SkyBooker. My credit card company was a little more helpful, but I still had to open a case and go through all that hassle. SkyBooker just refuses to honor the price I booked and confirmed, and they keep shuffling me between agents with all sorts of lame excuses. It's ridiculous.
Honestly, I don't know why any reputable airline would allow SkyBooker to represent them. They're nothing but rip-off artists. If you're thinking about booking with them, I would highly recommend you think twice. Sure, they might give you a decent price upfront, but they'll nickel and dime you to death down the line. You're better off booking directly with the airline and avoiding all this headache.

SkyBooker Review: Don't Use This Site - They Ripped Me Off!
I done booked my flight to Amsterdam thru SkyBooker for a Delta flight, but all them flights got cancelled. Delta done said they gonna give me my money back, but SkyBooker ain't so keen on that. They only wanna give me a credit for a future flight. And get this, the credit they done give me was $50 less than what they done charged me in the first place! When I done asked them about it, they said they was keeping their service fees. And to top it all off, they done said I can only use this credit if I book my future travel thru them. Now, it's been three months and they done gone and charged my credit card again! And I can't even get nobody on their customer service line to talk to me. If you don't wanna get ripped off, don't use this site, y'all!
Disappointing Service and Hidden Fees: My Experience with SkyBooker
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with SkyBooker. I mean, I get it, Covid has thrown a wrench in everyone's travel plans, but that's no excuse for the way they've been treating me. I had to rebook my flight back to Canada from Europe, and when I reached out to them for help, they just refused to do anything. They told me it was the airline's responsibility, but the airline told me it was SkyBooker's job to help me out. It's like they're playing hot potato with my money and my travel plans.
And don't even get me started on the service fees. They charged me extra for everything, and when I asked them to explain why, they just gave me some vague answer about "processing fees" and "administrative costs." I mean, come on, be transparent with your customers! We deserve to know where our hard-earned money is going.
Honestly, I don't even know if I can call SkyBooker a travel agency. They're more like a money-grabbing machine that doesn't care about their customers. It's like they're deliberately trying to hold back money from us. I wouldn't wish this kind of treatment on anyone.
All in all, I wouldn't recommend booking with SkyBooker. Save yourself the headache and go with a different travel agency that actually cares about their customers.
Skip this Middleman: My Disappointing Experience with [Company Name]
This company ain't all that great, to be honest. They're just a middleman, and they charge you a fee for finding the cheapest ticket, which ends up being more expensive than if you just went to Orbitz or Travelocity or something. They might try to tell you otherwise, but if something goes wrong and you can't make your trip, you're out of luck. I picked a ticket that specifically had a change option, but now I can't change it. And if you try to email them about it, you'll get a message saying that the server is messed up or something.
So yeah, I'd say it's best to steer clear of this ticketing organization. They're not worth the hassle.

Disappointing Experience with SkyBooker: Hidden Fees and Unfair Refund Policy
So, I gotta tell you about my experience with SkyBooker. I was planning a trip to Italy from the US in January and I found a flight on their website for $1,300. I was pretty excited to finally be able to go on this trip, so I booked it right away. But then, in May, the flight got cancelled. I was pretty bummed out, but I figured I would just get a refund and try to book another flight later.
When I contacted SkyBooker about the refund, they told me that they would refund me $800, but they were keeping $500 in fees. I was pretty upset about this, because I had paid $1,300 for the flight and I didn't think it was fair that I was only getting back $800. I tried to talk to them about it, but we couldn't come to an agreement, so we put the conversation on hold for a few weeks.
During that time, I was waiting to hear back from Lufthansa about the refund amount. When SkyBooker finally got the refund from Lufthansa, they told me that they were submitting a refund of $800. I was really surprised by this, because I had never agreed to accept only $800. I had been waiting to find out the full refund amount before making a decision.
In the end, I lost $500 in fees and I didn't get the chance to use the full amount as a credit towards another flight. I was pretty disappointed with the whole experience, and I don't think I would use SkyBooker again in the future.
Terrible Experience with Skybooker: Unresponsive and Unhelpful Customer Service
Last year, I decided to travel to Barcelona, Spain from Phoenix, Arizona for a three-month vacation. I booked my round-trip flight through Skybooker, which I found online. I was excited about my trip and couldn't wait to explore the beautiful city of Barcelona. However, my excitement was short-lived when the Covid-19 pandemic hit the world, and my flights were cancelled by American Airlines.
I was disappointed, but I understood the situation and expected a refund from the airline. However, American Airlines informed me that I had to contact Skybooker for the refund. I was a bit hesitant, but I contacted Skybooker, hoping to get my refund as soon as possible. Unfortunately, the experience was not what I expected.
Skybooker was unresponsive and evasive, and I had to follow up with them several times to get any response. I was frustrated and confused, as I had followed all the necessary procedures and expected a refund. However, Skybooker kept giving me the runaround, and I never received my refund.
I was disappointed with the service I received from Skybooker, and I would not recommend them to anyone. Their lack of customer service and unwillingness to help their customers is unacceptable. I would advise anyone looking to book a flight to avoid Skybooker at all costs.
In conclusion, my experience with Skybooker was terrible, and I would not recommend them to anyone. Their lack of professionalism and customer service is unacceptable, and I hope that they improve their services in the future.
Disappointing Experience with Skybooker: Credit Issues and Poor Customer Service
Skybooker is a website that I recently used to book a flight. I had to cancel my previous flight due to covid and they gave me a credit of $700. However, when I tried to book a new flight using the credit, I was told that I could only use about half of it. They said that the new flight was in a different flight "class" and that's why I couldn't use the full credit. I was really disappointed and frustrated with this situation.
I tried to ask them if they could find me a flight in the same "class" so that I could use my full credit, but I didn't get any help from them. I called and emailed them numerous times, but I got nowhere. It was really stressful and I felt like they were just trying to pocket half of my credit.
I eventually gave up and used the credit for the new flight, even though I couldn't use the full amount. I was really disappointed with Skybooker and their customer service. They didn't seem to care about my situation and just wanted to take my money.
I would not recommend using Skybooker or their other name, "Airfare Experts". They are not trustworthy and I feel like they are just trying to scam people. It's really important to be careful when booking flights online and to do your research before using any website.
Terrible Service and Unfair Fees: My Experience with SkyBooker
This company, SkyBooker, is not a good choice for booking flights. Their service is terrible and they don't seem to care about their customers. I recently booked a flight to Germany for the summer, spending $2000 on tickets. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, the airline canceled my flights. When I contacted SkyBooker about a refund, they charged me a non-refundable service fee of $300! I couldn't believe it! Why should I have to pay for a service that I didn't receive? I called them four times to try to get an explanation, but no one was willing to help me. As a single mom who saved for five years to take my daughter on vacation, this was a huge disappointment. Now, we won't be able to go on vacation until I can save another $300. It's not fair and it's not right. I will never use SkyBooker again and I will never recommend them to anyone. As a travel agent, I make a lot of bookings, but I will never use SkyBooker for any of them.
Skybooker's Attempted Refund Fraud During COVID-19 Pandemic
Skybooker (skybooker.com) is a travel agent that I recently used to book an Air Canada flight. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my flight was canceled. However, Air Canada agreed to provide me with a full refund. I reached out to Skybooker via email to request my refund, but I was shocked to receive an email from an employee named Randy Thomas. In his email, he requested a $200 fee per person for the refund to be granted and asked for partial credit card details. This seemed suspicious to me, so I decided to call Skybooker directly to request my refund over the phone.
To my surprise, the customer service representative granted my refund immediately without any request for fees. I believe that Randy Thomas was attempting to commit fraud by trying to gain personal funds from those seeking refunds during this difficult time. I have tried to contact Skybooker directly by phone four times to speak with management about my concerns, but no one has been available, and no one has called me back as requested.
I am worried that this fraudulent behavior may be more widespread than just one employee. It is unacceptable for a travel agent to try to take advantage of customers during a global crisis. I hope that Skybooker takes this matter seriously and investigates any potential fraudulent activity within their company. As a customer, I expect transparency and honesty from the companies I do business with, especially during these challenging times.
SkyBooker Review: Refund Issues and Poor Customer Service
So, last year we had a flight to Europe that got cancelled because of COVID. SkyBooker offered us a credit, but we couldn't find a flight that worked for us to use it. So, we asked for a refund instead. They agreed to give us a refund, but they kept 25% of it for fees. They never explained how they calculated those fees, though. We agreed to it, and they issued a refund, but it was less than what they had promised us. We've been trying to get the missing amount for the past three months, but they won't respond to our emails. When we call them, they tell us that it will be processed within the next 3-10 days, but it never happens. We don't think they have any intention of refunding us the remaining amount. They won't honor the amount they agreed to refund us, which was already a lot less than what we paid. We don't want you to go through the same experience as us, so we suggest you avoid using SkyBooker.
Skybooker Review: Untrustworthy and Unreliable - Avoid at All Costs
I had a really bad experience with Skybooker. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They don't seem to be honest and they don't want to give you the money you deserve. My flights were cancelled because of COVID-19 and the airline told me that I was entitled to a full refund. But when I contacted Skybooker, they told me that I had to get the refund from the airline. I was really confused and frustrated.
I called the airline and they told me that because I had booked through Skybooker, I had to get the refund from them. But when I contacted Skybooker again, they still insisted that the refund would not come from them. I felt like I was getting the run around and I didn't know what to do.
In the end, I decided to dispute the charges with my credit card company. I was really relieved when they told me that I would be credited for the charges. I also plan to report Skybooker to the BBB and the US Department of Transportation. I don't want anyone else to have to go through what I went through.
Overall, I would say that Skybooker is not a trustworthy company. They don't seem to care about their customers and they don't want to take responsibility for their mistakes. If you're looking for a reliable travel booking site, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
