I purchased a prepaid television package on August 26th. The package was marketed as a “college football package”. Unfortunately I did not understand that there were no local channels included in this package.
Immediately upon discovering this shortcoming, I contacted SlingTV to cancel my purchase. I spoke with Alex, who advised me he was filing paperwork to escalate the issue and that it would be “taken care of” in five to seven business days”.
Unfortunately I have not seen the charge reversed on my credit card. I have not used the services since signing up, and I attempted to cancel service literally just hours after signing up.
