Sling TV sling tv

It's more like trash tv. Very offensive commercials. Are you forgetting that children are watching these commercials as well? Or maybe they don't care. Yeah, Thats probably what it is.
It's not just about kids though. It's about decent morals and principles being pushed aside by profit.
Just remove thrm, go back in the board room and rewrite a new commercial sling TV! Don't worry, you can afford it. I will never support Sling TV ever!

Sling TV, get rid of your obnoxious, inappropriate "slingers" tv commercials or I will never consider purchasing any of your products/services. I don't want to have to explain your commercials to my kid and he has been asking about them. You ought to be ashamed!

Sling TV slinger tv commercial

This commercial is VERY inappropriate and uncomfortable to watch around my family and friends! So sick of changing the channel every time it comes on! My kids ask questions asking what they are talking about and become curious to the point they want/ try to google it online! It's not funny nor entertaining! Why does this world shove sex down children's throats?

Sling TV commerils

I am so utterly disgusted with the Sing TV commercials. How is it that they think it is a good thing to add sexual thought in it. It is for that reason I will never subscribe to their service. Those kind of commercials should be banned. I hope that there will be enough complaints to get something done about this as soon as possible. I am getting tired of having to change the channel to avoid having to hear it.

These commercials from the half-naked ugly man in a towel, gut hanging over the top to the continuous ad for Singers vs. Slingers and now Dr. Ruth giving her sex hints on national television are more than extremely distasteful. There is a large majority...

Sling TV commercial

The Sling commercial ( which thinks its being funny ) depicts a group of people confused about Swinging couples watching a new cable TV company.
It's not funny .Just absolutely stupid. Not to mention offensive. Especially if children are watching and want to know the meaning of this garbage.
Take it down and attempt to come up with something better otherwise you will be out of business in no time.
Two thumbs down and Zero stars.

Sling TV sling tv commercials

The sling commercials are obscene inappropriate and misleading.
Leading the public to believe they are implying swinging, as there are many people including younger people who are not aware of the meaning of this commercial or swinging.
So when asking or doing an internet search
There much of inappropriate things that appear.
This leading the consumer is part of how corporations do not care about the youth
And put no moral limits on there implications as long as there is a buck to made. When did lack of morality and lack of ethics become so acceptable in this country of ours.

I agree whole heartedly with the comment above. The Sling TV commercials are very suggestive, and very offensive.

Even if Sling was a good deal, I would NOT use it. The association of 'sling' with 'swing" is done on purpose. That is not okay. Why must sex and lust be used to sell things. How far America, and the world, have gone in lowering their morals.

Please consider our young people and children and change your commercials. Thank you for listening.

Sling TV unauthorized credit card charge

Today, Aug-13-2018, I was reviewing my credit card account online when noticed a charge of 49.28 dollars from Sling.com. I got very upset as similar issue had happened 1, 5 month ago when they claimed that I or someone else went online and ordered a multiple devices access and a pay per view of something. I remember that I had to call customer service to explain that I didn't ordered anything. They understood the issue, gave me a refund of the amount charged for those unneeded services and walked me through a password change, just in case of someone had my password and was ordering things without my permission. A little bit awful, but I was ok because my money was refunded. Unfortunately, this new issue haven't had the same happy end. when I called customer service this morning, they told me they couldn't refund the amount charged because I have a prepaid account. It just sounded weird because I have the same account as 1, 5 month ago and they were able to refund (?). They told me that the only way to have the 49.28 dollars was by a credit to be used next year during service renewal. I didn't plan to stay with sling for one more year, so it was not a solution for me. I tried to explain to the customer service attendant that I didn't ordered any service, and no body in my house has my password to order anything, and as it has happened for the second it is for me more than clear that there is a malfunction in the Sling system. She transferred the call to a specialist, but they final answer was they were not going to refund this charge. Because of this issue not solved I cancelled my contract, but they told me that the unauthorized charge will not be refund still. In other words, they have my credit card info, they car charge whatever they claim I have ordered and that's it. I feel I was stolen by this company. What can I do now?

That is their new policy. No refunds period. You will have to dispute it with your credit card company, and they will attempt to fight your dispute. You should win since they cannot prove you authorized the charges electronically.

Sling TV tv commercial

Sling TV has a completely inappropriate commercial airing during hours that should be considered family friendly. For months I have had to make up stories to explain away slinging vs. swinging to my 9 yr old son. Really. We are at a point were swinging is an acceptable topic around children. I will NEVER use Sling TV. As a matter of fact, it is this commercial that is sending me over to the other side. NO MORE CABLE. If we think that swinging is funny and ok to joke about in front of our children we are doomed as a society!

Sling TV unauthorized charge on credit card

In October 17 I signed up for 7 day trial which I cancelled within the deadline. Now in May 18 I get charged on my credit card. I called the customer service and they tell me I won't get a refund as it is prepaid and that I should call my bank and also to have my password changed. This is nothing but a scan. I am the only one who has access to my password and if my bank info was compromised than it would have other unauthorized charges. The company is taking advantage and committing fraud here. Even when I called the company within 3 days of my credit card getting charged they wouldn't refund me instead I am told that I can watch the channel for a month after which the subscription with be cancelled. Also when you go online and try to remove your credit card info. it doesn't give you the option to do so. Another slick move by the company.

My experience exactly. I guess they make more money refusing to deal with situations like this. They charged my card twice with no authorization and told me the same crap they told you. I am disputing it with my credit card company.
The amazing thing is that they have access to see if you used the service and from what IP address. Even if they look into it and you did not EVER use the service they will still not refund the money. It is their business model. I am sure many give up the fight and just lose the money.

Sling TV commercial

The sling tv commercials that run constantly for children to be exposed to is absolutely distasteful and disgusting... It's to the point I would never consider using sling services..

The children that could potentially view this commercial need not be exposed to this kind of "selling techniques" or advertising.. There is enough sickness in the world, must you use the need to advertise a product or service to exploit sickness even further.

Sling TV unauthorized credit card charges

When I reviewed the billing information on my fathers account, I noticed there was a $59.99 charge made on 10/31/2017 for a pay per view fight. I called the customer service number and told them that we did not order this. I was told that there is no refund for P.P.V. I did argue with her that I know we did not order this. My Dad is 88, and he has a hard time running the ROKU stick. She told me that it is a 2 step process to order this, and the pass word on the account must be entered. Well, my father does not know the pass word, or even my e mail address, which the account is set up through. He does not like fights, and neither do I, I don't even like football, sorry to all of the fans out there, but I don't. She told me that she would forward the request for a refund to the department that handles this, "Customercarescalation", and I would receive an e mail in two days regarding this. Well, I did, and of course it said, "according to our records, you ordered UFC217 : Bisping vs St Pierre which begins on Nov 4 2017"7:30 MST". Well, we did not order this, and no one else has the account information, so, how did this happen? I guess people pay that much, but not here, and my father and I are both on fixed incomes, and its a lot of money, especially to just be taken away. They would not even consider that this was an error on their part. I really can't believe it! Needless to say, the account will be closed. And if I give any reviews, or speak to anyone about Sling, it will not be positive. In my mind, they stole $59.99 from my 88 year old father.

They are liars. They did the same crap to me. We started a new Sling account and used it for three weeks. It was only used on one device at a time, and we canceled the new account after three weeks. Two months later I noticed a charge from Sling on my statement. I went back through my credit card statements and realized there were three charges on my card, the one I authorized and two more for an old account that I used to have. Somehow an old account got activated after I started new account. They said I must have logged into a device that had old account information. I told them that if that happened there was no warning or message to "restart" service. They said that is not their fault and that I need to factory reset my devices to remove their information so it cannot be reactivated.

I asked Sling to check our usage to prove that we never used two accounts at the same time and we never used it after three weeks of starting the new account, after canceling it. They said that usage does not matter at all.

I disputed the charges and Sling told the credit card company that I authorized the charges. I had to re-dispute the charges and tell the credit card company I did not. As of now four months later it is still an ongoing struggle and has not been resolved. The charges are on hold with the credit card company as the "investigate" it. I assume I will eventually win the dispute, but I will never give Sling TV another credit card number.

Back inOct 2017 I signed up for the 7 day trial and had it cancelled it before the 7 say expired. Now in May 2018 they charge me $29. So I called customer service and I am told it is pre paid and I won't get a refund and I will be able to watch for a month. They didn't want to refund my money back even though I called them up within 3 days of my credit card getting charged. Instead they told me to change my password and call the bank. The company is fraud and this is nothing other than a scan. I am the only one who had access to my account and if my bank account was compromised than it would have other charges which there was none.

Sling TV awful service

oh gosh they are really terrible. Don't know what I was thinking when agreed to try them. I didn't find what I needed. Many channels, yes, but nothing that I prefer and no way to buy it, because they simply don't have it. I decided to cancel my subscription and get my money back. And it took me a month to finally get the person who could say something regarding this. Not helped! Just said.
My question is: when will you start caring about customers and do what they want. Cancel and refund, there's nothing to do, it's really not a big deal. Stop hiding and avoid conversations. This is really an unclear situation and I hope I will find a way to resolve my problem.
And by the way, your customer service sux.

Sling TV I haven't used their services and couldn't cancel the trial

I recently subscribed for the trial on www.sling.com. I have paid for the trial and wasn’t able to use it because the website didn’t open my account. I tried to reach the support team, but they ignored me all the time. I also tried to cancel the trial, but all my attempts were useless. Now the company charged me for the next month and I must stop them as soon as possible.

Sling TV the company started to take money for further trial, but I didn't know about it

I opened the website of SLING TV LLC and they offered some new trial for the TV channels. I have subscribed for 7 days trial and was so excited. I wanted to subscribe for the full trial, but the company started to take money from me before I have done it. I was disappointed by their actions. I emailed them and asked to cancel the trial and stop charging me. Still no response.

This company (Sling TV) has an absolutely abhorrent commercial that is played over and over again through the news on channel 7 (5 p.m. - 7 p.m.) I used to watch channel 7 news every night and now I can't due to this offensive commercial. I am sure they are paying a lot for the time slot but you are losing loyal fans.
