A class action suit is being filed against sls. Any one that have a loan immediately contact your lender, or previous lender and request a copy of your loan. Check your signatures, make sure your file such as signatures or promissory notes, are not altered. Ask your previous lender, who owns your loan. If you are a victim of fraud immediately contact authorities and file a complaint. Make sure a tila audit is conducted on your loan. Share copies of the audit report with someone you can trust. If you are a victim of fraud file a compliant with the fbi to investigate.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Here it is November 8th, 2017 and they are still doing the same thing as others have stated. I guess nothing can be done to this company they continue in these disgusting tackics

Hi, my name is Galina. SLS took over my loan from Wells Fargo in November 2017 and it's been a nightmare since. I requested monthly statements from them because I'd like to see what's on my loan, but SLS refused to give me statements, saying I'd have to request it in writing and it would take up to 3 weeks, to get a statement. I sent a form, voided check and did everything what I was told .Now they are saying different stuff and still not sending me statements. I tried to create an online log in, but their system denies my answers to my security questions even I know they're right. I have to call them every month to make a payment over the phone and don't even know where these payment are applied to. I didn't get anything from Wells Fargo to what balance were transferred over to SLS and now, I don't even know how much I own on my house. Please help.

I believe they are actually a foreclosue specialist They are trying to piggyback off of the debt accrued by another crook, Nationstar, same type of company . They tried to foreclose on me 4 times . My state, Virginia and the Fed's couldnt care less. I have been dealing with fraud since I bought my house in 3/2007. I have no access to justice . I went through the local housing inn my state of CT, I also kept all docs and then went to the courts at the same time. I am out of foreclosure. However! I received, before my final payments were complete on the modifaction a notice that my "escrow" was behind and I owed. I am in the new process of trying to find a lawsuit against SLS..The courts in CT have stated they can no longer work with me as the forecloser has been withdrawn...
another company "sun" mgte out of Mass is buying our type of mtge and I will be contacting them. The article on them appeared in the Htfd Courant in 2018 perhaps no later than May 2018.

Many in MN know about attorney and firm bring sanctioned thousands that knew law rules and procedures and had many cases in State and Federal court. Judges/courts were not allowing discovery or making banks prove who owned the Note, loans not placed into actual trust after closing date of trust (which stated by law loan must be in trust within 90 days of closing date). This did not happen to thousands of loans violating the so called trust that some of the biggest banks are forcing innocent victims into foreclosure to claim title again and produce fake documents...I contacted over 10 attorney and firms, some took retainer fees then changed their tone didn’t want to add name to case, paralegals stopped preparing docs, but I still took on.
The banks and services never provided one single piece of paper that was new to show how they owned legally or when as prior other investor and banks were involved during financial crisis changing hands illegal without endorsements and without true title. Illegal back dating transfers being completed! Check out who and what Service link in PA does? Creates default title for entities and for MERS.
It’s being covered up, look other way...attorneys get paid more for working on bank side. Attorneys spooked or practice threatened...all ignoring until us people come together to fight the organized Crime where there is proof in some state and federal courts that banks and servicers plus attorneys are filing false documents and untrue title.

My loan originally with Countrywide who was declared bankrupt by the Federal Government back in 2006 or a little later. Bank of America allegedly took over my loan but failed to produce the documents required as specified by my loan and never advised that Countrywide was bankrupt--it advised that it was just a "collector" for Countrywide. Within a year or so it turned my loan over to SLS also just as a "collector". Interest rates had dropped markedly and I requested a reduction in my 6.125% which both denied stating they were just "collectors" and couldn't alter the conditions of my loan which was contrary to my Countrywide loan which stated it was allowable if interest rates became illegal--as they did for the Feds to force Countrywide into bankruptcy. I didn't find out until 5/17 about all of the Countrywide problems and requested documentation from both of these companies since my Countrywide loan specified conditions they failed to meet--lower my interest and produce Assignment from Countrywide. To this day none of these companies do anything to meet those conditions. I stopped paying in 5/17 to force the issue and as of this writing they haven't met the conditions of my loan and refused to lower my interest. More bothersome is that every copy of my loan has been falsified with effort to remove Countrywide's name and replace with one of theirs. Presently they threaten foreclosure and still they lack a valid copy of my loan and they have very cleverly altered it to make it appear that it's valid but I possess the only unaltered copy presently and that's the reason I refuse to pay them since I have no reason to believe even if I finished paying for this loan that I would ever get a valid copy of it. It's pure corruption. BOA is attempting to pull out and have NYBM take its place but I refuse to do that also. None of these banks have honored my Countrywide agreement but the Feds couldn't have left the homeowners in a more difficult situation by settling with Countrywide and leaving those of us in these loans to fend for ourselves. WA State Attorney Generals office fails to support the home owners.
I'm in a Countrywide loan transferred years ago to Bank of America who transferred it to SLS who transferred it to NYBM. None of these banks have been able to provide me with a valid copy of my loan--every copy has been falsified. They have also denied me the conditions of my loan for my interest rate was to be decreased if it became illegal--which it did to force Countrywide into bankruptcy. None of these banks provided a valid copy of my loan; all refused to reduce my 6.125% interest. In 5/17 I discovered Countrywide's bankruptcy and stopped paying on my loan until these banks met its conditions--valid Assignment, reduction in interest if it became illegal--to date they have failed to produce either and every copy of my loan has been illegally falsified. I possess the only valid copy. Presently they're threatening foreclosure--they hold me to the loan conditions and they meet none of the loan conditions--typical mobster mentality. I'd be glad to join a class action suit or I'll go private for these banks need a strong suit to close all of them. BOA is attempting to separate itself since its employees are testifying in Boston confirming my statements which will be most helpful in court. None of these companies operate legally.
This is the 3rd time I'm writing the same thing so something isn't working with your equipment. Countrywide, Bank of America, SLS, NYBank of Melon are all involved in scamming homeowners out of their monthly mortgage payments and their loans are falsified. They attempt to hold me to an illegal interest rate while they do nothing, support nothing valid regarding my loan. We need a serious class action lawsuit to remedy the harm the Federal government did to those of us still in those loans by paying off Countrywide and leaving us individually to deal with all the other crooked banks--Bank of America, SLS, NYBank of Mellon. They all need to be forced into bankruptcy with all home loaners left with fully paid off loans.
Just as many others my mortgage was transferred from Countrywide to Bank of America, then to SLS . I have been trying to obtain a loan modification with SLS for several years. They recently stated that we did not qualify and our only option was a short sale. I declined and sent a letter of appeal a week prior to their due date. They misfiled it my appeal stating there is nothing more I can do and foreclosure will proceed because I did not file by the due date. I had yet it was their error. This bank is horrible. My mortgage went from First Franklin Trust, then to Bank of America, and then, about 12 years ago, it was sold to SLS. I have been battling them since 2010 with my payments. I have also been charged $15 every month since 2010 just to have someone take a picture of my house! I also have additional charges added to my mortgage that they cannot explain to me what they are for. They have fought me every time I completed their loan modification application. Now they have foreclosed on my mortgage and my house goes up for a sheriff's auction on October 16, 2018. Can someone please help me to save my house! I have always paid my mortgage on time for the past 5 years. What has made it difficult is the SLS website. Over the past 5 years, I've needed to try for over an hour to just make my payment that if & when the site is working because the website disconnects repeatedly) oh and that is after the so-called "improvements" to their website. It is December 3, 2018 & I have tried to make my mortgage payment online for 3 days. I tried to call the so-called "Customer Service " number which is not being answered at all not...voice mail says the system is down. I tried again to call them and let if continue to ring for 5 min a voice make came on eventually & said press 1 for English...I did & the phone is connected but dead silence for over 40 mins, I just finally unhung up Their other numbers for thing like seeking a mortgage (.i.e [protected]-891-78 26) are also down or disconnected ( for the 866 391#, voice mail says that I had dialed a wrong number) . I filed a federal lawsuit against them. My only concern is that we do not call Connecticut, Corrupticut, for no reason. Here is my docket no. 3:15-cv-01208-MPS. The other problem is that Federal court has few attorneys that do real estate law and that will work pro-bono. Our funds are limited so we cannot hire an attorney but despite my being legally disabled and requesting a court appointed attorney, the judge has continually denied. He will occasionally put on a limited scope attorney for specific things like Discovery. Recently the courts claimed that one of the defendants in my case, Bank of America, was not a debt collector. Yet, they are not listed anywhere on my land records or SEC records as holding my mortgage. But the original holder and problem is, ie. Countrywide also known as CWALT and CFC.

Hello, I received an Email confirming my Email, but other then that I am not sure what to do here.
We have SLS now. We were never informed that are account(loan) was being sold to another company. Then when we got a call, it was SLS and wow they were extremely rude. They demanded that we pay them a payment. We told them that we had already paid it to US Mortgage and they said well you were suppose to pay SLS. My husband argued with them, we got phone calls several times, threatening they were going to report to his credit. We explained to them that we sent it to US Mortgage and that they needed to contact them. If our payment is close to being on time or during the grace period, they call my husband and demand he pay the. I’ll. My husband has never in his life dealt with a company like this! He wants his loan with someone else, he is going to refinance it, just sonit will be.

Please add my email address as a plaintiff to this class action suit against Specialized Loan Servicing. Wells Fargo sold our mortgage to Specialized. We are currently 2 months ahead on mortgage payments and the our credit report is reflecting that we requested a FOREBERANCE ON OUR MORTGAGE. No verbal or written request was made for a forbearance on an SLS loan. Guess how we found out - we applied for another financial vehicle and SLS alleged forbearance was listed on the credit report. I have been fighting with them as well since 2017 when they showed up at my house to do a appraisal and I asked who they were. They informed me that Bank of America’s sold my equity line of credit to them. Needless to say I was not aware of any of this. Opened my mailbox while I told the gentlemen to get off my property and there was a letter from Bank of America’s and SLS. As I am opening the letter the gentleman proceeded to take pictures of my home ect. The letter stated I need to come up with over $3000 or they were foreclosing on my home within 30 days. They just sent it to me today and now I have to amend my taxes because they do not do their jobs and wanted to tell me that I didn’t pay anything in 2020. I keep detailed records of everything and they finally did the 1098 for 2020 and I had paid $1550 in interest. They are horrible about applying payments correct and interest payments ect. I am still scared of losing my home because of the way they handle things. Something isn’t right with this company and they need to be investigated and a audit done on the whole business including Bank of America’s who had messed up on my Original mortgage as well.
Are you still interested in this? I went through the Consumer Protection Bureau. It was supposed to take 15 days, then SLS requested 60 days to review and it was allowed. They have now come back with a hogwash statement. My issue has yo do with State Farm selling all of their home equity loans and Home Equity Lines of Credit. The CFPB seems to taken their word as truth when it is not, so now I’m looking into further recourse.
How do i get in on this lawsuit, SLS has been harrasing me and coming after me for 11 yrs.for a 2nd loan that was payed off in 2006, I gave the proof of payoff through the CFPB TWICE AS WELL MYSELF LETTING THEM KNOW THIS ! They were calling me for so many yrs. and send me way over 100 letters, threatening my home, also bills and interest incl. which we owe 0 to them, they are completely insane, I do have a great lawyer working on my case against them, I also am incl. my heart condition caused by them, and my psych. problems also through kaiser !
SLS also has another scam going. I was able to get my PMI off. I called and they said they had to mail a letter to me that I had to fill out and send back to them. In the letter they have to send someone out to do an appraisal. I filled the letter out last year and sent it back. It was taking so long so I called them back. They said they never received the letter so the process has to begin again. I asked if they could email me the form. They said no. It will take 10 days for them to review my account and see if I am eligible to have the PMI removed. I told them they already know that I am eligible because they did the review the first time. They can look at my account and see that never since I have owned the account have I ever been late especially since they last checked. Then they said they would send me a postal letter by the end of the month and it is the 10 of the month now. why would it take that long and why in this day in time would you have to mail it and not put it on line.
