Stay away from Symple Lending.

This is not a lender, don't be fooled. After an hour long consultation with an "advisor" we were told we have zero loan options and given a gimmicky weblink showing this but instead showing we were approved by "beyond lending" or some bs company. It's a debt consultancy, they negotiate on your behalf and at a huge profit to them to write-down your unsecured debt, which will destroy your credit for 7 years. I wasn't asked about our plans in the near future or otherwise, wasn't asked about our assets which are significant, wasn't asked about an equity loan or so many other pertinent areas of my finances. Instead the advisor asked about our spending habits and other things that are not part of the industry standard calculated debt to income, so he then launched into a scare tactic that SO many people in our situation file bankruptcy but not to worry this will "save" us & there's no need to file BK & we'll have our credit rebound in months! Bananas, I did one write down on 2008 after the last recession as I WAS UNEMPLOYED for awhile & our income was so much less, it haunted me all 7 years.

Total scam, write-downs can work if you are in desperate straights but it's a second to last resort before bk (BK can completely wipe debt so why do both?!) and you don't need to give 25% to a scammy business to do this either. IDK who these other reviews are from but I'm really hoping they researched their other options. Stay away from Symple Lending.

I was kinda nervous about applying with Symple Lending 'cause I wasn't sure if I'd get approved. But then I talked to *** and he made me feel super chill and showed me all the ways I could get approved. These guys really went out of their way to make me happy. They were nice, caring, and totally pro. 5/5 stars, yo.

I received a letter from Symple Lending LLC on 08/16/2022, indicating preapproval for a loan. The letter resembled an official government document. Upon calling, I spoke with a representative who confirmed my prequalification and performed a soft credit check. I disclosed personal financial details, such as my expenditures on gas and food. He claimed collaboration with 20 lenders and promised to process my application swiftly. However, within minutes, he informed me that due to high credit utilization, I was ineligible for a loan. He then referred me to a 'law firm' for debt consolidation, proposing a $500 monthly payment at 0% APR. I am concerned about the potential misuse of my personal information and the impact on my credit score. Moreover, I found no evidence of their loan distribution, which leads me to believe they should cease deceptive practices and avoid engaging in aggressive sales tactics.
