First time i went to smashburger with my Cousin, my order was amazing! so i told my wife and we went there, UNFORTUNATELY our order was Not good!beside the Delay!and they bring the burger and was so cold and they bring French fries later! also cold!

We have been coming to smash burger for years and have usually liked it. We haven't been here in about a year but decided to go again. The last two times, last week and today, we have noticed big changes. All negative. The sandwiches are most definitely smaller and the portions overall are tiny. The food quality has gone way way down. The chicken sandwich is hard, flat and tiny. The buns are smaller and ice cold. Overall, it was awful.
We will not be coming back. We are very disappointed.

Im writing in regards to the smashburger on braodway and floyd. I frequent this location often as I live close by, and I've noticed the last few weeks that everything about this location is rapidly decreasing. But i am writing tonight to inform you of why i will NEVER be returning to ANY smashburger location. I went into the store around 9pm and a sweet, cute, young lady named Alexis took my order. She was promt and very friendly. I placed my order and sat down, and began to eat. There was a man a few tables away eating whom i thought was a customer until he started barking orders at the girl who took my order. She looked annoyed but did everything he asked. He continued to stuff his face, mouth open and all while she worked hard. (Overweight latino man with a bad haircut is who i am talking about) she proceeded to try and take the large tea canisters to the back but was struggling. He laughed. She told him she needed help and he said "really?" And rolled his eyes, then he told her to flex her muscles, she said i dont have any muscle, and then he proceeded to grab her arm and feel ghe muscle and said wow it really all is just fat and he started to laugh hysterically. The poor sweet girl looked mortified. What kind of business are you running? He clearly is a manager and was enjoying slave driving this young girl who was workimg very hard. The fact that he touched her aggressively, let alone commented about the "fat" on her arms is DISGUSTING. What kind of misogynistic grown MAN does that? Let alone what kind of company allows a man like that to be in charge? I couldn't even finish eating my mediocre burger. I just wanted to hug the sweet girl and take her out of that place. Fix your management. Im disgusted.
food and cleanliness
I visited smash burger last night it was the Paramus route 17 franchise. The food took 20 minutes to come out. As we waited in the booth we noticed that the table we were sitting at still had crumbs on it from the previous customers. We did ask one of the cleaners to wipe the table. We tried to avoid the napkins and food all over the floor which also served as a trip hazard. There was only one server serving the entire restaurant and there was one cleaner cleaning the tables. After customers ate their food and left their trash remained on the table for several minutes. Up to about 10 to 15 minutes. So we are our food around tables with trash. By the time the food came The hamburger was hot however that hamburger bun was cold. In addition the kitchen was extremely slow and several customers started to complain as to why they had to wait to 15 minutes for the food to come out of the kitchen. The catchup and the mustard bottles were empty. I remember going to my first SB about two years ago and I loved it however this was a disappointment especially since I have moved away since then and I made a conscious effort to go out of my way to visit smash burger.

forgetting my order
Hi,
I places an online order on sept 6 and sent an email stating what went wrong but I never got a reply. This is my second attempt. Here is what the email said:
Hello,
I placed an online order yesterday at the smash burger located in Malvern Pennsylvania and when I got there my food was missing an order of fries. I waited longer to get the fries and when I finally made it home, I gave everyone in the household their meal. One of the kids in my household is extremely allergic to gluten so we ordered a gf bun for her. Unfortunately the bun was not gf and she was unable to eat it. I am wondering if there is anything you guys can do for me for the inconvenience and waste of money/food.
rude employee
Was walking in with my child when I heard cursing coming from the back of the kitchen. An employee tall older white guy was screaming and cursing at a younger white guy in a red shirt. He wanted to take the issuse outside but the younger guy didn't want to fight. He continued and no other manager stepped in to intervene. I turned around and left. The older guy was 6 ft something with glasses. The guy at the desk seemed to be Asian and didn't stop him from cursing and the younger white guy was not cursing. Hate going into that store nkw because there is always a problem.

I just went to Smash burger at the Orchard Parkway location in Westminister. I was very concerned that the same person that took my order and money also handled my food, bagging it up. In between that she was on her personal cell phone. It seems as though there must be some Health violations happening at that location. I will not be going to that location again.

I made my first visit to a Smashburger, the on on Eliot in Tempe, AZ, on 9/2/17 near midday, induced by a two-entrees-for-one coupon. The coupon code is PUN0874. I was told by a condescending twit of a cashier that the "Double-Triple" I wanted was not included in the offer. In spite of my advanced age and veteran status (which was evident on my baseball cap) I am able to read and can find no exclusion of that sandwich on the coupon. I obtained lunch for two from the Freddy's a half mile east and we enjoyed it very much. I am trying to imagine what you could do to gain my business, if you even care about one mere customer.

I tried Smashburger earlier this month and found the experience unnecessarily complicated, unsatisfying beverage selections, overtly cacophonous, boring restaurant setting, a parsimonious “rewards program", and the feeling I had to finish and leave. Plus there is no WiFi. There were napkins everywhere. I was so underwhelmed that I left my remaining coupons behind.
misrepresentation of menu items
Last Sunday, August 13th, my family and I visited your Eagan, MN location around 1pm. Neither myself or anyone in my family had eaten at a Smashburger before and we decided to give it a try. When we walked in, we were politely greeted by staff and given time to decide what to order. When we were ready to order, as there were 5 of us total, each person stepped up to counter to place their order. Somewhere after my mom and dad ordered, the staff behind the counter turned their back to us to dry trays right in the middle of ordering. We gave the individual a minute to dry trays but my dad had to ask him politely if we could finish up ordering as we had long since decided what we wanted. We eventually finished ordering and found a table. The food arrived pretty quickly which was awesome, however, my family and I who ordered the triple double after seeing it on tv were very disappointed. On tv, it's advertised as if it's a pretty big burger and it looked big on the ordering menu you displayed in the front of the store. To find out that the burger patties were the size of sliders was a huge letdown. The burgers themselves tasted good but I can't help but feel like misleading customers like that was any sort of accident. I think it will probably make me think twice before visiting another location anytime soon.

The service has been very slow during my last few visits. From the time I walked into the store, I saw customers standing up waiting for their to-go orders. They were still waiting when I left.
It took me 10 minutes to get to the front of the line to order. Then another 20 to get my order which was only a shake. The girls behind the register move incredibly slow. My fiancée had to point out that our order had been sitting on the counter for five minutes. Only then, did the girl pour our shake into a to go cup from the mixer. Quite frankly, I will not be coming back for lunch when my time is limited.

My mom was in the hospital in Coon Rapids which brought me to your your location in Coon Rapids . I bought 30 plus dollars in food to take to eat lunch with her. However the food was full of salt...not just the burgers the fries everything. So salty that you could not eat it. I called right away. He took my receipt number and said that I would be receiving something in the mail. I did not have time to return to that location. I had to get back to work. The date of the incident is Sunday, July 16, 2017. It only took about 2 minutes to get through the line on Sunday. There were two of us and we each ordered a burger and fries; pretty standard order. The total was $21.58. We paid and sat down. 5 minutes went by, 10 minutes went by, 20 minutes went by. Several patrons had not received their orders and they were in front of us. There were three young girls, looked like teenagers working the kitchen and cashiering. No supervisor or manager on site to be found. My food arrived after about 25 minutes but not my husband's food. He waited another 15 minutes for his food to arrive. I will mention that the burgers and fries were very good but not really worth over a 30 minute wait. We would love some coupons to be able to give this restaurant another try and redeem themselves. FYI, this restaurant is located at 440 Ernest Barrett Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

I had a short lunch break to buy food. I always go to Smashburger for the fast service. I was waiting 20+ for the employees to figure out the orders in order. I asked an employee if they could hurry because I had to return to work. She only told me to wait and that they messed up and had to get food to other customers before me when i had been the only person in line when I arrived. I waited another 10 min, I took my food to eat fast before work and my hamburger was cold because they had been waiting for the fries for too long. I also asked that they had a side of chipotle sauce and it wasn't in the bag.

I am normally not someone to complain about things but I am a business owner myself, so I would want to know if a customer was unhappy with service that my business offers. I went to smash burger at 9:00pm, (they close at 9:30) and wanted to order a couple shakes, but the guy at the counter said he can't make them because he already put the machine away. Maybe that's the policy to close out the shake machine early, but if that's the case I feel he should have explained that to me.
I was logged out and I was trying to get into my account but I no longer know my password so I was trying to reset it Put in a new password and log in and it is asking for some code which I have no idea. I have been unsuccessful
I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, sweet potatoe fries, and a sprite. She rang up a bacon, cheese and egg sandwich, regular fries, and a sprite. That is what I got. It was good but not what I wanted or ordered.

I ordered a large sweet potato fries for $3.84 before tax. They were hot, but they were very old and not good in any way. They were stale, too salty, and reminded me of something heated up from many hours of sitting in a tray. I ordered the. At 6:31pm which I would think would be prime dinner time. But the airport was not crowded because it was the first day of a holiday weekend. I'm angry they the staff was too lazy to prepare fresh food and I'll never eat here again.

The manager Gabriel turned off the grubhub tablet so when I got to the store late already I had to wait an additional 15 minutes just for her to tell me they canceled the order. I will be pursuing further legal action against the company if this is not dealt with.
Received 2 $25 gift cards, tried to use both at restraunt and manager said "cards are not supported here" when i check balances on your website, both haved $25 avaible balances on them. Need answers or new gift cards to use at your restraunts, thank you

I went to smashburger on 8/2/2022 @ 2:32pm, 10072, the wait time to get my food was over 30 mins, totally unacceptable. The management in this store needs to be improved.

Angela is an amazing employee. the idiot who wrote a bad review must be a difficult person who enjoys complaining.
Angela who is the certified trainer of the smashburger in port Washington New York, is extremely rude and goes very slow while taking orders. There are three cash registers but the genius management chose to use only one when there is 20 people in line on a Friday after school. This is not okay and I would not recommend this restaurant.
