I told Sofas & Sectionals about this and they had to order another sofa and then delivered the rest of the furniture. The love seat, chair, and ottoman were delivered, but the ottoman had an indention in the fabric from something heavy being stacked on it. I thought it would come out, but it never did. The sofa arrived on May 2nd with the wrong legs, which made it shorter than the rest of the furniture. I emailed them and they scheduled a repair technician to come out and fix it. I also asked them to look at the dent in the ottoman's fabric, which was still there. They said they would.
After a while, I noticed that the leather on the couch was cracking and splitting in several places, which shouldn't happen with high-quality top-grain leather. My husband and I looked closer and found out that two different types of leather were used to make the sofa. The sides and back were covered in a sturdy, thick leather, but the areas where the body touches were covered in a thin, fragile, easily damaged leather. This didn't make sense to us because the areas where the body touches should be covered in sturdier leather. I decided to return the furniture because it was not good quality and wouldn't last. When I told Sofas & Sectionals about the issues, including sending them pictures of the damage, they said that this type of wear was to be expected with high-quality top-grain leather. That was a stupid thing to say because everyone knows that the more you pay for leather, the more durable and sturdy it should be. They offered me $400 to keep the damaged furniture, but I turned it down. They said I would get a partial refund (-$400 for return shipping) within 5-10 business days of the furniture being picked up. The furniture was picked up on June 20th and I let them know right away. On June 22nd, they sent me a credit memo for $876.00, but that couldn't be right. When I asked them about it, they said it was a mistake and they would send me a new credit memo. I emailed them again on June 29th because I still hadn't gotten a refund or a corrected credit memo. They said they had escalated the case to upper management to get the refund processed. I've emailed them twice more since then and still haven't heard anything. It's been over 10 business days and I still don't have my refund or my furniture.
