Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Malfunctioning Sony Bravia TV - Escalated Case

Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and frustration regarding the Sony Bravia 164 cm (65 inches) 4K Ultra HD Smart LED Google TV, model KD-65X74K (Black), which I purchased from your esteemed company on November 26, 2023. The serial number of the TV is S017017270A.

Within just three months of usage, my elderly parents and I have encountered significant issues with the functionality of the TV. On April 5, 2024, the TV suddenly switched off with an error indicating no sound. Upon contacting Sony support, a technician visited our residence and diagnosed that the panel of the TV was malfunctioning. Despite attempts to rectify the issue, it was deemed unfixable. Subsequent assessments revealed that additional components of the TV were also dysfunctional, necessitating further repairs.

We then resorted to seeking assistance from an authorized Sony service center located at Shop No: 1&2, Friendship Corner Co Op. Society, near ICICI Bank, Dindayal Nagar, Vasai West, Vasai-Virar, Maharashtra 401202, India. Regrettably, our experience with the service center was far from satisfactory. Despite our repeated requests for a replacement due to the severity of the issues and the inconvenience caused to my elderly parents, no viable solution was provided.

I must emphasize the urgency of this matter as my parents, aged 75 years, are scheduled to leave the country for Canada in the last week of April and will be absent for an extended period. The unresolved issue with the TV has added unnecessary stress and inconvenience to their preparations, which should be a time of joy and anticipation.

It is disheartening to note that our previous TV, a Samsung model, had served us flawlessly for over 18 years before we decided to switch to Sony. The contrast in reliability and customer satisfaction between our previous experience and the current predicament with the Sony Bravia TV is stark and distressing.

Given the circumstances and the escalated nature of this case, I urge you to prioritize this matter and take immediate action to address our concerns. A swift resolution, preferably in the form of a replacement unit or a comprehensive repair, would be greatly appreciated.
