I am complaining because I bought acer laptop with souq.com. I can not use.
I bought this item and the specifications of this product explain that the operating system is Windows but really the operating system is Linux. Until now I can not use this laptop for this reason. Could you explain to me please how is possible this happen. I selected this item due to the specifications of this product and I can not understand how is possible you sold this item with other system. I am waiting for your answer.
oneplus 5 mobile phone - after sales service and warranty
I completely agree with the person's complaint. My case has been even more simpler.
I purchased a smartphone device (OnePlus 5 Phone) from Souq (Order ID: #[protected]).
Within weeks after purchase, The phone was giving me problems as it kept restarting by itself - While using the device and also while it was just kept idle. I made a complaint and the Souq Customer Service Guys collected the device and said they repaired it (By Re-Flashing the Software) and gave it back saying it is working normally.
Within a Week again the device started giving the same problem. I tried re-formatting the phone and restoring to factory settings several times but there is no difference. Now the problem has become so much worse that it keeps restarting several times a day and I am unable to use the device sometimes when I an in urgent need of it. This is a phone which I use for my work purposes and the fact that it was returned to me without being properly repaired has caused a lot of inconvenience to me.
I made a complaint again on 2nd October 2017 regarding the same issue. Till now no one has bothered to call me even though the customer service person on the phone said someone will contact me within 48 Hours. I called you back again after 48 Hours to remind them myself as there was no response from their side. And again, No one has called me back. I then sent them an email and demanded that they take back the device and provide me with a new device or issue me a refund. This device has some hardware issue and it cannot be resolved by just re-flashing the software. I explained this to Customer Service Person when they took the device for repair the last time and they ignored my advice and just sent it back to me after Re-Flashing the Software. I cannot keep wasting my time by re-formatting it again and again and facing the same problem. They just sent an email and said they can only repair the device and apparently the replacement will only happen if the device is repaired 3 times and still has the same problem ! What kind of logic is this ? So the customer has to keep suffering with the same problem till he makes 3 complaints and the device is repaired 3 times ? If they know something is wrong with the device, Why not just replace it or issue a refund ?
I have been such a loyal and regular customer of Souq.com and I have purchased 100's of products from them over the years. This is the first time I had a problem with my product and I must say I am really disappointed with the After-Sales Service. I will not be purchasing anything from them after this terrible experience. There are many better websites out there and I urge everyone to stop using Souq.com. They have become arrogant because of the growth in their business and they feel they can make good profits without providing customer service !

I am writing this email to log a complaint against a representative Hala (10:29) who picked up my call and was not helpful and was irritated when I asked for clarity and help. After asking her for clarity I could sense she was irritated and did not want to help me and pretended that she could not hear me. After I made the second call the representative was very helpful and resolved the issue without delay and had empathy. I would request to kindly look into the matter and please make sure that Hala does not "Pretend" to not hear the customers when she can not deal with a complaint or a situation.
Kindly update me with this request once this has been communicated to the concerned person.

I bought Acer laptop in july. My complain is because the specifications of this ítem explain that the operating system is windows and in this ítem the operating system is Linux. I can not use because of this problem. I returned the laptop to your company but I received back in the same condition. I am really worry and insatisfecha with the service received with this ítem.
Some of the laptop does not come with Windows pre-installed.It is always mentioned under description. This is not an issue of the laptop. You have to buy the Windows software and install. Just visit near by computer service center and they can install it for you for some money:D

customer service and the entire buying experience
I tried to buy from this site twice.
Once before they were purchased by Amazon, and it was horrible. the item was supposed to be delivered in one week, but right on the delivery date, they change the status to not available. I had to wait another two weeks to get my money back. I don't understand why or how the seller figured out the last minute that the item was not available.
I avoided buying anything from them since, but when Amazon, which in my opinion is the best customer service company on the planet, purchased Souq.com, I though things would be different, and I tried my luck again with a couple of items, both of which were listed as fulfilled by Souq.com. Delivery date came, and I had nothing. I filed a complaint, but got no answer after 24 hours as they said I would. I called, and no use, as everyone experienced, they tell you they will call back, but never do.
But the big surprise was when I checked on the status of my complain online, it said ticket closed! but I had no deliveries, no products, and no response from customer service.
To be honest, I'm not too surprised. It's the same crap I experienced with Ali Baba Express, and I would not expect anything different from a company in the Middle East. But I am, for the first time in eight years, disappointed with Amazon for aligning themselves with such a crappy company.
It is always better to view the review and rating of the Seller. Since Souq.com is a marketplace, they don't have a direct involvement in logistics. Always buy the item which has Fullfilled by Souq, which simply means the item is in Souq warehouse which also means quick delivery.
window dressers, scams, untrustworthy, unreliable
I recieved several faulted products and when i attempted to review them to alert potential buyers they wrote me an email saying that this is a complaint and not a review and that they will not be published (how come writing comments about faulted products are not a review!?!?!? Then what is !).
I asked for a return of the products and they didnt credit my account except for after continuous follow ups for more than one month... With the credit i ordered other products and they havent reached me for over a week and when i contacted them they told me the shipping address is unclear (they never even called me to notify me with this!) even though they have delivered over 20 products to the very same address woth no setbacks...! And when i asked the complaint hotline representatuve to divert me to his manager he informed me to expect a call within 30 days ! (what a joke!)

before 2 days i purchased innjoo Halo 2 from your website.

I ordered a Lenovo k6 note with order number of [protected] and when the shipping agent came to my designated address in the form, I wasn't there and we both agreed on another date of delivery. when that date came I waited whole day for the shipment to come and even contacted call center but the agent didn't know if the order has moved from the shipping company (q-express) or not, so I waited more before retrying the call center again and that time the agent knew the order will not be shipped on the prearranged date, so I requested the number of shipping company contacted them and requested that I go and get the order myself and they agreed. I went to their warehouse and the representative told me to wait untill he finds my order and after a waiting time of one hour he told me that he can't find the shipment and promised that it will be ready on the next day giving me his phone number to contact him to make sure the order is ready and even promising he will call me instead. Of course as you imagined he didn't call, so I called first on the same night that's when he told me he still can't find the shipment and saying that it will be ready in the morning, again he didn't call so I called him, first he didn't answer then when I tried again his number was closed.
I will be waiting to see your action towards this complaint as I frankly lost trust in your company branch here in Egypt and I'm waiting for you to prove me wrong

I bought Cellphone named Xiaomi Max dual Sim 4g lte silver last dec.29 2016. The problem of that product is the battery it will take only 2hrs to use the cellphone even you are not always using it. And sometimes it shows empty and i cannot open it. I have the picture of the details of the mobile and the picture itself so that you can recognize it. I am a customer of souq.com.ksa since 2014. This is the 1st time I am very disappointed with souq. I ordered JBL charge 3 speaker with Tracking #[protected] and order ID #[protected]. When I open the package, I noticed that the box is damage. The box doesnt have barcode and stickers to identify its autheticity. The LED light power indicator is not working. The accessories is incomplete as mentioned in the manual. The accessories doesnt packed separately with plastic. The speakers have some scratches and damage. Its really noticeable that the item is already used and not new. Immediately I booked to return the item and I dont want to purchase again from souq.com. I will never!

But no any calls received after that and next evening another person call me for delivery and at the time I was in flight...
Am very upset in this regards cause, based on your delivery commitment I confirmed my son in home country to bring this dress for him…. but every things vain because your bad service persons…

I bought a brand new phone from an associate website of Amazon, as a long in the tooth customer, I know that any new item is covered by a one year warranty, to horror and shock, I discovered that the phone was not covered by a manufacturer warranty, I dropped the phone and wanted to check with souq.com the approved repair provider so that I can keep the warranty, realising that I will have to pay for the LCD replacement as I knew it would not be covered. The thieving souq.com and the seller did not point out that phone sold to me did not have any warranty and could not explain to me what happened with the manufacturer warranty provided by Samsung.
I find this shocking, unethical and totally unacceptable in the 21st century.

Please note, that I was waiting for 2 items since last week and was expecting to receive it in 3 days. After 5 days of waiting i start to follow up. Instead they just cancel the order and close my complain! Can you believe it!
Its a big disappointment especially when i need to travel the next day and order these items as a gift.

Same here. they didn't cancel my order just yet but expected delivery was nearly a week ago. Date is still not updated in the system and instead of informing the customer and set expectations they blame it on the vendor. The Souq.com team had the delay information and the reasons and didn't pass anything on to me or on the website where I can view my orders. When I filed a complaint the only response is that they pass it on to the vendor. This was not my complaint. There can always be a delay. As a middle man in the process Souq.com is taking on the responsibility to deal with the customer and to arrange for the customer satisfaction. But it seems to me there are just there to cash in the profit in the middle.

bad product quality and did not received what I purchased
First of all I ordered for (caboki hair fiber, (black), I didnt receive caboki but instead i received a box of hair fiber by some name of (dexe)and thats also brown colour, and I open the box to check the inside bottle might be black its might be a mistake but then the bottle cover is half opened already.
so, I would request you to either send me the exact thing what I ordered or else give me my money back.
