Purchased a Toyota listed at $21,500. But nah, that ain't the real price, it's actually $26,500. They just put that lower number to attract folks. Man, I might have to get corporate involved.

South Dade Toyota False advertisin on all of their vehicles

False advertisin on all of their vehicles. Vehicle listed on dealers website for $22K, when inquired about the vehicle, I am told $27K after an inquiry on a second vehicle advertised on dealers website for 21K they told me it is actually 23K because they changed the oil and did tire rotation. This dealer is involved in scamming customers. Stay away, they are rippin people off thousands for each vehicle. They checked my credit report 3 times without my permission and when confronted, they deny and told me it was the system. or maybe I did it myself. Checkin customers credit without their consent is illegal and punishable by law. Toyota needs to review dealership policies in how this store is abusin customers and how customers are treated. I am plannin to file an official complaint with *** of *** Safety and Motor Vehicles at the regional office responsible for the dealership.

South Dade Toyota The sales manager at South Dade Toyota was a dishonest and unprofessional person who tried to rip me off today at the dealership

The sales manager at South Dade Toyota was a dishonest and unprofessional person who tried to rip me off today at the dealership. They gave me an inaccurate and unprofessional value for my car. Not only did they have two different prices for the same car I was interested in, one on the window sticker and another lower price on the internet, but they also insulted me about the age of the car I wanted to trade in. They claimed it was too old for their dealership and tried to convince me to get rid of it. They offered me $9000, but then showed me a paper from the internet saying it was worth $5400. They said they would give me more money because I was a loyal customer, having bought two brand new cars from them before and recommending two friends who also bought cars from them. However, I will never recommend this dealership to anyone or buy anything from them again. Toyota should be aware of the scam these people are running and the customers they are losing. It's a shame.

South Dade Toyota I traded my car to VW on April 10th

I traded my car to VW on April 10th. I emailed the dealership and called them more than 20 times, but they never responded. I want to get back the money for my gap insurance and other products I bought. The folks in that department never pick up the phone, and their voicemail is always full. I don't know how to figure out the amount I should be refunded, but it's been a few months and still no progress.

South Dade Toyota My folks bought a car online from South Dade Toyota on 11/28/22

My folks bought a car online from South Dade Toyota on 11/28/22. My brother, who lives nearby, helped them out by talking to the staff and checking out the vehicle. They did a credit check, signed a backup contract, and sorted out the financing. They gave a check from our *** for payment, with specific areas highlighted to fax/email/send the paperwork. Then they contacted *** to release the payment for the car. The vehicle was handed over to my brother and then shipped from *** to *** for our parents.

But here's the thing: *** has been calling them for about a week, asking for the paperwork to be sent so they can receive payment for the car. However, South Dade Toyota has been stalling and refusing to send it. We're worried that they've tricked us into getting stuck with their financing, which has a much higher interest rate. My brother went to South Dade Toyota to find out what's going on, and their excuse is that it'll take another 2 weeks to send the paperwork. This smells fishy, especially coming from a Toyota dealer of all places. It seems like fraud to me.

South Dade Toyota South Dade Toyota of Homestead still hasn't refunded me my gap insurance from the 2 cars I recently sold/traded

South Dade Toyota of Homestead still hasn't refunded me my gap insurance from the 2 cars I recently sold/traded. I submitted my request on 04/13/2022 and still haven't received any info about it. They won't process my cancellation request even though I gave them all the necessary documents. When I call, they won't answer their phones and just transfer me to voicemails. I've left messages with employees, but no one calls me back. I've also left voicemails with the cancellations ***, but no one calls me back. They won't process my cancellation. This business practice ain't right, all they care about is making money. They treat their customers like garbage. My wife and I bought 2 cars from them, but we'll never do business with them again. Their customer service is terrible. Please process my cancellation request and give me back my refund that I deserve. I'll also make a formal complaint with the *** of *** Safety and Motor Vehicles.

South Dade Toyota I live in Key West and my lease on a 2019 Toyota was expiring, so I went to South Dade Toyota for a 2022 RAV4

I live in Key West and my lease on a 2019 Toyota was expiring, so I went to South Dade Toyota to turn it in and wanted to buy a 2022 RAV4, this was on February 26, 2022. I made a deal on the RAV4, and put a $500 down payment on it until the vehicle was ready for me to pick up. I asked about my last payment on the lease and I was told that they would take care of it when they made the payoff on it. Either Southeast Finance would reimburse me the $349.19 for the last payment or I would receive a check from South Dade Toyota. When I went up to pick up the RAV4 on March 23, no paperwork had been done and had to spend almost the whole day there. I gave them another check for the rest of the down payment. I told them that the $349.19 last payment had been taken out of my bank account on March 21st. Again I was told that I would get reimbursed for it. I have called them several times about the reimbursement and they shrug it off. As my husband is 80 years old and I am 76 years old, we can use the money they told me that they would reimburse me. I feel like they are taking advantage of two old people. They should honor the deal they made with me. I appreciate any help you can give me. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

South Dade Toyota On August 11, 2022, I went to this Toyota dealership for an oil and filter change

On August 11, 2022, I went to this Toyota dealership for an oil and filter change. The "service advisor" *** told me that my vehicle needed new brake pads. Since it was a Toyota and the price was pretty high, I agreed to have them replaced. The next day, when I started driving, the brakes made a screeching noise for the first 3 to 5 stops. I waited a few days to see if it would go away, but it didn't. I went back to South Dade Toyota and explained the issue with the screeching sound after the first few stops. The person *** rode with me in the vehicle (the sound didn't happen after the first four to five stops) and said it might be because of the humidity (the vehicle is kept in a closed garage). They didn't offer any other help. I tried calling the "service director *** and even emailed them about my concern, but got no response. I contacted the " Toyota *** five times, but they said the dealership was a franchise and couldn't assist me. They sent all my messages to the dealership (South Dade Toyota) to handle the case. On January 10, 2023, I spoke to a lady named *** from the Toyota Brand engagement center, and she told me that they couldn't do anything about it since it was a franchise. I'm worried that if I have an accident because of this brake issue, it could have serious consequences. Also, South Dade Toyota mentioned on the invoice that the vehicle had *** miles, but in reality, it only has *** miles. *** information!

South Dade Toyota I went in for service on December 28 at South Dade Toyota

I went in for service on December 28 at South Dade Toyota. On Thursday, April 2022, while traveling for work in ***, my power steering stopped working. Luckily, there was a Toyota service center nearby, so I drove my car there. They checked it and found out that South Dade had installed the wrong battery, even though their paperwork said it was the right one. This wrong battery caused the power steering to fail. They told me that the correct battery had been on back order for a few months, which might explain why South Dade Toyota made the mistake. Since it wasn't safe to drive a long distance back home, I had two options: either wait for several months for the correct battery to come in stock and use a rental car in the meantime, or buy a third-party Diehard battery. Because the steering column was damaged, I had to get a rental car anyway and planned to return on Saturday when my car would be ready. *** Toyota gave me copies of South ***'s paperwork, which showed the correct battery installed, and photos of the incorrect battery still in my car. I took these documents, along with proof of the wrong battery, my rental car receipts, and the costs for gas and tolls, to South Dade and asked for a refund. The Service Manager, ***, didn't seem interested in helping and just took copies of everything, promising to call me. He did call me later, but only to say that he couldn't do anything and that I needed to open a case with Toyota ***. He was very dismissive and didn't care about customer service. I called the center and filed my case (#***). I called Toyota *** three times to try to resolve the issue. They tried to get the service manager on the line, but he was either unavailable or not there. After the last attempt, Toyota *** told me that since South Dade is privately owned, they could only facilitate a phone call, so we were going in circles. Please help me. I have pictures and documents to prove everything.

South Dade Toyota On Sat. Sept 3, 2022, I was at South Dade Toyota (SDT) to fix my car

On Sat. Sept 3, 2022, I was at South Dade Toyota (SDT) to fix my car. I spent more than 5 hours and got the car very late, 45 mins past 5 pm, and yet the car was not fixed. As I started the car and took the road, the dash re-began to flash, giving the same message. I didn't feel the problem was fixed as I drove the car. I could not return immediately due to lack of time. I called SDT on the 9 of Sept. to explain that and got a call back asking me to come back with the car. I did come back on Fri. Sept 16, 2022. This time I was told that it was not the coil that they replaced which failed but another one, coil #4. I was very skeptical because 1. The car presented the same problem the same day it was supposedly fixed. I left the facility very late that day with much fatigue, and as I took the road, it presented the same problem and the same message on the dash. 2. The paper I got from SDT on Sept. 3 doesn't mention at all which coil was replaced. Even for the one-year warranty, on which coil would I have that when the paper doesn't state which of the coils was replaced? 3. The paper they gave me on Sept. 16 states that coil #4 failed. And they asked that I pay again since it was not coil #4 that they replaced on Sept. 3. However, their paper does not specify any. When I brought this out to *** attention, he became confused about what coil was changed. 4. I got my car fixed in another repair facility and they found that the problem was with coil #4. That facility showed me that it was coil #2 that SDT replaced, a coil that was functioning well with no problem, and they left coil #4 in the car, which is the one that needed to be replaced. I sent a letter to SouthDade Toyota claiming my money back. They declined and said that they replaced coil #3, emailing me a so-called report made afterward, making their argument worse. So, I am attaching the picture I sent to them which clearly shows that coil #3 was never replaced, and even if replaced, it would not change anything.
