I placed in order in May and my order was shipped out and then shipped back to the facility without ever making it to my home. Around the end of August, I placed an order on Spice Place website for a bottle of Salad Supreme, total cost with shipping $29.05. I feel at this time that I have been scammed and would like to find out if they are legitimate before I notify my credit card company. I have no other way to contact this company. Purchased 4 exotic spices. Paid for priority shipping but never received them. The company is unresponsive to emails and doesn't return calls. Order placed on 9/12 included 4 units of Spaghetti Sauce Mix, Italian Herb 20.5oz 581g (01215) totaling $43.56 USD. With shipping at $8.84 USD via USPS Priority Mail, the grand total was $52.40 USD, charged to my credit card. The manufacturer confirmed the item was discontinued in January . The seller's website lists them on backorder, yet they seem unavailable. It appears the seller is listing items they don't have in stock, which is a common and frustrating online issue. I wasn't even informed about the backorder status and have been waiting for the delivery that should have taken only a few days. After checking the order on their site, I've reached out multiple times and left messages, but received no reply.

I wouldn't have ordered this watery version that's commonly available, has a different shelf life, less garlic content, and needs refrigeration. It also cost more than other retailers. I reached out for a partial refund but got no reply. Returning it wasn't feasible due to the pandemic and high shipping costs, as I had already paid $37.16. I now seek a full refund of $122.76.
