This is a straight scam stay away from this website as soon as you log on within seconds you will be charged $45.95 I never gave any permission to charge me ! Then when I tried to get a refund they just put you on hold for as long as you will sit there waiting for no one to pick up ! They are preying on people who are already under stress and vulnerable because they have a loved one incarcerated! This is a 100% scam ! If you call any of the numbers on Google to try to find out how to put money on someone's phone in jail and you talk to someone who gives you another number do not call it or they will have your money! This is a scam please don't make the same mistake I did these scammers need to be shut down!

I inadvertently signed up without an amount, agreed to help my Son and immediately cancelled because when you sign up there is no amount and then charge you. I immediately cancelled due to wrong website they said would investigate and contact me,they never did, then they continue to harass me to sign up with them, I continue to request refund. Now they refused to refund me. Shame on this scam of a company. DO NOT GO WITH THIS SCAM!

First of all, they didn't tell me how much they were going to charge me for their services. I was shocked when I saw that they had charged me $45! That's a lot of money for just a few phone calls.

To make matters worse, when I tried to use their service at a different jail site, it didn't work. They claim that you can use their service at any jail site, but that is a lie. I was very disappointed because I had already paid them so much money.

When I contacted their customer service, they were not very helpful. They only refunded me $30, which is not even close to what I paid them. I felt like they were trying to cheat me out of my money.

Overall, I would not recommend using SecurTel.us. They are not transparent about their charges and their service doesn't work at all jail sites. If you want to make phone calls from jail, I suggest finding a different company to use.
