Booked SpotHero reservation for a garage for my Granddaughter's 1st Broadway show
Booked SpotHero reservation for a garage for my Granddaughter's 1st Broadway show. Arrived early for the show, but the garage was full. SpotHero continued to admit cars despite no spots. Won't use SpotHero again due to poor parking management. Found another garage 5 blocks away, resulting in a 30-minute delay and a walk through unsavory areas to reach the show. Disappointed by the experience.

I am 100% dissatisfied with your guarantee as I used the parking reservation only to find out that the moment I left for few hours between the reservation time, the parking was no longer of use because according to the *** parking structure rules, there is on in & out between times; once you go out you no longer can come back in. I believe firmly that given that it is 2021, Spothero should be able to convey that for each parking structure rules, and not just let customers assume the risk; as a CPA, that is NOT Customer serice. I will not use *** ever again, and I will be a walking talking Billboard about the flaw on Spothero's guarantee, and not used them, and they are better off using/paying at the lots respectively

Charged my card but had no text or email confirmation of payment or scan code to enter parking garage...phone number on my bank statement goes directly to scamming about a coupon book...another phone number given was insurance sales
SpotHero sent me an email telling me the spot I reserved two weeks ago is no longer available. Apparently private people can pull their spot from the website, even if they have bookings. Now Im on my own and have to pay twice as much.
I think it's a great concept in theory, but issues arise in practice.
I think it's a great concept in theory, but issues arise in practice. Last time I drove in, thinking I had a reservation near my apartment, I was turned away because the garage was full. SpotHero helped me find another spot, but it took an hour due to a faulty scanner. Very stressful after a long drive. SpotHero admitted they're a third party and not in regular contact with garages, despite listings.

Don't ever use them! Paid for a parking pass in ***, went in the correct entrance and the pass would not open the gate. Had to double pay for parking. Contacted their support using email and they will not respond.
I parked in one of their garages in downtown in May for the weekend and two of my car windows were smashed with one being completely removed. I received a business card from security that they had found my car in that condition; however, there's absolutely nothing they can offer except to let you know that they're not liable. I had to drive home in the rain for 3.5 hours with no window. So my parking fee, which was over seventy dollars, ended up costing me an additional seven hundred and seventy-five dollars to replace the two windows. Their lots provide no attendants and obviously no real security, so if you're staying in Downtown, think twice about parking in one of their garages.
Daylight robbery at its finest. The fees were more than what was advertised. I paid the full amount online, only to be charged additional fees upon exiting the facility. I was informed that we could receive a $5 credit for a slight delay caused by a delay in our American Airlines flight. It's a disgrace for the establishment. Beware of this scam and steer clear.

I wanted to give non *** long-term parking a try, save money and use Metro. I signed up for a downtown *** location via SpotHero. There is an attendant. The attendant did not want my key, claimed they don't want any contact with my car. All I needed to do was place documentation in front window. After 10 days away, I returned to my car which had been broken into through driver's door. I reached out to SpotHero and have not received feedback. SpotHero says it is not their problem. Additionally, *** Unified Parking, says it is not their problem. There is no mention of Owner Responsibility for theft in SpotHero documentation, nor any on-site that I can remember. This is another situation with consumer caught in the middle. I will not use SpotHero or Unified Parking. Location is

Paid $40 for parking in ***. Arrived at the lot and was told I wasnt on the List I was told by the attendant that couldnt be bothered to get out of the back of his pickup that my only option was to pay him. Obviously didnt do that. Tried to call customer service at the time and of course got no answer. Paid to park in another lot. When I finally got in touch with customer service they did an outstanding job of apologizing and talked about refunding my initial payment plus reimbursing me for the money I had to pay at the other lot. Of course all that happened was refund to my card (I had already stopped payment) and then credited me $7.79 to my account Shady scam artist
Lost $21. The garage was closed and I had to find another parking. Spothero customer service doesn't answer their phone. My emails to them bounced back.
I frequently park at a certain parking garage in my city using SpotHero and while I never have any issues entering the garage, at least a third of the time I park there, the gate will not open when I try to exit. When this happens, I have to call customer service and they will open the gate for me, but it is a long, tedious process and is incredibly frustrating. This has been an issue for over a year and I just wish SpotHero would address this problem so that myself and others who use this garage do not keep having this issue when we try to exit.
I paid $15.00 to park at a Garage near the spot we would be having lunch
I paid $15.00 to park at a Garage near the spot we would be having lunch. Upon entering the system said that it was denying the code. Once at the restaurant I attempted to reach out and the only option was to just pay and park. I then emailed them and was told I was supposed to hear back from them that was Saturday. Thursday I reached out to them and got someone on the phone and was told that all I needed to do was send in the screen shot from my bank stating I made the payment. After doing this today on Monday I receive an email telling me that someone tried to reach out to me with follow up issue. This is the second and last time that I have had this issue with this very unprofessional company. I will just pay for parking at the site because literally it was just a 2 dollar difference and I would still have the first 15 dollars in my account.

We booked a spot at a downtown Parking Garage with Spot Hero for April 19th
We booked a parking spot at a downtown Parking Garage with Spot Hero for April 19th. Upon arrival, the attendant said they don't accept Spot Hero reservations. Despite complaints, Spot Hero sells spots there. After no response from them and online research, it's clear many face this issue. They charged $55.99 for an invalid spot, forcing us to pay $60 for alternative parking.

I actually believe this company scams people
I actually believe this company scams people. I purchased a parking pass for an event at *** for an event and when I got there, there wasn't a place to even park for SpotHero. I called customer service and was on hold of at least 1 hour and no one ever picked up. I ended up paying for another companies parking lot and they told me that they hear about this all of the time with the address I provided. So SpotHero keeps ripping people off on address that isn't even used for parking. I finally got a hold of *** and they say their policy is no refunds after the time of the event. Scam, scam, scam, oh yeah they did offer a $5 credit for the next time. Believe me there won't be a next time.

Their web page makes you believe that you have a reserved parking space based on this statement:"Event Parking - Enjoy the convenience of booking a parking spot at the venue ahead of time, ensuring you have a space when you arrive for games, concerts, and more." We made a reservation for a space in downtown ***, and there was not a single space available at the time specified. We kept driving around and around, watching for cars about to leave their spot. It was a long wait, since we were competing with a number of other cars hunting for a spot. We finally got lucky after quite a while of circling around the lot, when we were about to give up. No, you do NOT have an assurance of having a space reserved when you arrive! We were supposed to park anywhere except in spots with a "reserved" sign, they were all full and open to competition by others. This is plain false advertisement.

Note: Despite asking the service to de-list spot #3, it's still there for upcoming games. I'm very unhappy with our experience on May 7. I booked spot #3 for 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Arriving at 12:20, a car occupied our space. I have a photo of the car. I contacted support, and while the agent tried, he couldn't reach the spot's owner, which is astounding! He found us a spot 0.3 miles away, wasting 40 minutes and causing us to miss our pre-game lunch.

Spot Hero has been an absolute night mare
Spot Hero has been an absolute night mare. We had never used it so thought we would try. We prepaid for underground parking by the football stadium in ***. When it came time to leave we could not get out. I held out prepaid ticket up to the scanner, I held my phone receipt up to the scanner, and the door would not open for us to get put. I push the help button and talked to the most rude person I have ever met. He just kept repeating himself like a robot even after I did everything he asked. We finally had to pay again to get out. A pastor friend and his family were also in the parking garage and had the same thing happen. I have been emailing and talking with Spot Hero for over a month and they keep sending emails (by a different person each time) asking for different things, even though I have given them time, date, and screen shots of my 2 payments off my debit card. They are a sham. Our friend has not gotten refunded either. I truly believe someone is getting the 2nd payment.
I used to use them regularly but they are just unreliable
I used to use them regularly but they are just unreliable. They now charge a $.50 processing fee to your reservation which you dont see until you are booking. Their customer services is also pretty much worthless. I book parking spaces in downtown Chicago and sometimes I have to extend my reservation, the last reservation was a problem. I had a reserved a space for the day until 7pm. At 6:45pm I realize that I need to extend my reservation, while trying to use the app to extend the reservation I get an error code and can't complete the transaction. So I call spothero and the auto message says that they are not available. I screen shot the error, pay an extra $11 to exit the garage and then call spot hero the next day. The operator says I exited 20 minutes later than my reservation, which is obvious because I needed to extended it. I try to explain the situation to the agent but she just doesn't understand. I email them my receipt and screenshot of the error, twice, and I have not heard back from them. Useless...

Used the SpotHero app to get a parking spot for the first time
Used the SpotHero app to get a parking spot for the first time. First of all, took my son to his very first Professional Baseball game-Ballpark. Spothero was advertised on the Sports team's ticketing website. It was bobblehead giveaway promotional day at the game. (Given away to the first *** fans). Went to the parking spot, which I prepaid on the app. The garage door/entrance was closed. Called the security number on the gate. The security guard answered the phone, and was told that the garage was closed on weekends and who ever sold the parking space was a scam. There were other cars behind me and was told the same thing. To make the story short, Had to scrabble to find the another spot, and lost time while looking for another parking spot, had to pay double, since it was near the ballpark. We were late to the ballpark, missed out on the bobblehead promotion, due to being late because of the Spothero scam. SpotHero ruined the day and the memories of the very first baseball game for my son. Will never use their services ever again! Stay away from this scam parking service.

I paid $31.85 for what I thought was a parking spot in *** but when I eventually made it to the place, it was literally an alley that is not even paved and there was no one in sight, a cone blocking people from going in to the parking space which should have been my first clue but I was already running late to an event at *** coz of the crazy *** traffic that was exasperated by the concert I was attending (New Edition) so we try to find someone to talk to and some guy finally shows up and tells us spots are all full and that I will get refunded my money. I was so upset but at this point, I just needed to make it to the event, so drove away and now had the fun task of trying figure out where to park without paying an exorbitant amount of money (event price+ *** parking = total mess) and not being too far (rainy day plus I was late already). I kept thinking, why doesn't spothero send customers notification ahead of time, i.e., as soon as you run out of parking spots, instead of us finding out as we pull up to the parking area? If I was notified ahead of time, I could have made it to my event on time but instead I was over 30 minutes late and missed the first show, not to mention the stress and aggravation of driving in *** and the crazy parking situation. If that wasn't enough, I got an email notification that spothero will refund the money to my spothero account? no, I want my money bank in my bank account, not in your app, an app and service I will NOT use again.I will NOT use this app ever and will tell my friends not to.

We made a reservation at a hotel in May and followed the directions, using the picture from the confirmation email. We parked in a nearby parking garage, which resembled the picture. Unfortunately, the correct garage was further down the street, and the directions didn't specify this. Upon arrival, we showed our QR code and email, were processed, and told we were right. At pickup, we learned we were wrong and had to pay, despite being misinformed. We were told such mix-ups are common due to the garages' proximity and similarity. They offered a refund explanation and a credit, but as we're relocating to Turkey for military duty, a credit is unhelpful. This was our last trip in the US for years.

“Bait and switch” pricing methods by SpotHero
I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service I received during my recent interaction regarding my parking reservation. Read full review of SpotHeroI got towed due to a technical glitch. SH is denying responsibility for the glitch and refuses to reimburse me for the costs of towing.
I am a loyal SH customer and got towed last week (8/16) as a result of a technical glitch on Spot Hero's end, even though I reserves it for 24 hours. I regularly park in this lot every Wednesday at the same time. After a long day of work, I went to drive home when I saw my car was missing from my regular spot at 5PM. When I went to check on my weekly reservation, I realized my app signed me out, and as a result, erased my license plate from my reservation. The reservation said that I was at risk of being towed due to no license plate information, despite 100% assurance that I did enter my license plate info when I made the reservation. Because of this glitch, I was towed on 8/16 and had to pay $240 to get my car back, plus transit money to get to the tow lot to retrieve my car. I used this app whose convenience I regularly trusted and making the towing expense the customer's responsibility seems unreasonable given that I have no control over the reliability of the app.
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a refund for my towing expenses.
SpotHero was made aware of the issue with my car being towed on 8/1 as soon as I could get an agent to actually respond
SpotHero was made aware of the issue with my car being towed on 8/1 as soon as I could get an agent to actually respond. On July 31st I booked a parking space for my car from 8:30-2:30 pm with my license plate number confirmed. On 7/31 I booked another spot, separately for a different car from 10 pm - 3am with a different license plate. I have booked multiple spots on the app in the past. Upon leaving I found my car no where in site. My car had been towed with a fee of approximately $250. Since SH was closed and unavailable. I paid the towing fee and contacted them the next morning. Upon review of my account in SHo, all of my past reservations had been overridden with the new license plate including the one I had booked for my own license plate starting with Q. SH was made aware of this and I sent several screenshots of even my past bookings being overridden. They have the documentation and yet have failed to fully review and respond. I also had tire damage due to the improper tow.

On 7/20/22 I booked a parking spot in *** on Spothero for $13.75, but on my email appears for 7/19. I called customer service directly and they agreed to return my credit but not to my card but to be used on my next day. I was charged twice and never got my refund but another charge of $16.00. I disputed it with my credit card and they will follow. The action of trying to fool customers with their credit to be redeem on your account is unacceptable cause they will charge you double for the same spot.
I was looking for a spot to park. Thought to try spot hero. I typed in address of restaurant and garage said it was 0.1 miles away. In reality, it was 1.3 miles away. We were running late so we left as soon as we parked, found the right garage. Later that night I sent spot hero. Message asking for refund. $12.85 for parking. They refused to refund and offered $5 voucher. I wont ever trust their website again so I prefer refund. They can clearly see we entered garage and left same garage less than 15 min.

I booked a parking spot through their app on July 8. I arrived at the garage and the attendant told me to go away. I came back *** and pretending to sleep on and off. I was honking and yelling that i had a reservation but he didnt want to let me in. I took photos of the garage gate closed and the guy in his car looking at me. I tried to cancel the reservation in the app and contact Spot Hero but they did not respond. I followed up each day until they did 4 days later. They wrote me back with a sob story saying they would refund my money and reimburse me for the garage I ended up parking in that was $8.50 more than the one i booked. I gave them the information they requested and sent them the photos as additional information. Its been well over a week and they have ignored all of my follow-*** and have not refunded my money. This company is listing closed garages and knowingly stealing money from people.

Date of Transaction: July 14: $21.40
Business: SpotHERO
Rental ID: 123456
I rented the spot with a carful of passengers to watch a baseball game at the downtown stadium. When I arrived, all of the spots were full with nobody there to give further information. We were forced to find a nearby parking space owned by an individual who accepted $40 cash.
Afterwards, I called SpotHERO and spoke with a representative who said he would refund the amount if I provided a receipt of the new parking space. Since I paid cash, there was no receipt. He told me that he would still refund the $21.40 for the original space. To date, no refund has been issued.
NOTE: They have since added information about an "overflow" lot to this location's information on their website. This information was NOT there when the spot was originally rented.
First time user, I need to convey how utterly horrible your service was on 8/14
As a first-time user, I must express my extreme dissatisfaction with your service on 8/14. It was the worst part of our initial gaming experience. Without an attendant, my children and I could have been stuck in a parking garage late at night. The reservation details in the app kept changing the entrance address, which was confusing. I thought it was due to road closures. The reservation indicated a Marriott Garage less than a mile away, but the app directed us 30 minutes to the wrong location. The app instructed not to pull a ticket, so I didn't. However, when trying to scan the app to exit, it failed. The attendant suggested the ID number was incorrect and seemed suspicious of me, so I showed my reservation and the charge of $29.75 on my credit card. I received no reply to my email complaint. The rental ID and the reservation times were noted, but I've had no resolution.
This in now the 4th time that i have had to contact this company and my credit card company and have my card replaced due to fraudulent charges from this company. They continue to get my card number and charge me when i have never visited one of their locations and am not even in the same state. Another 4 charges just showed up. My CC company has changed my card number and blocked them and they still manage to find a way to get my new number and charge my account. This is fraud and completely unacceptable.
On June 16th I purchased a parking reservation for a spot in a garage in *** for June 26th. When I arrived at the garage on June 26th, there were no spaces in the garage and I (along with many others) was forced to leave the garage without parking and without another space to go to. These crooks were selling spaces they did not have and pocketing the money from who knows how many people. I want a total refund of my $5.75. They shouldn't be allowed to take money for nothing.
Reserved parking for July 4 game, adjacent to the stadium at 11:00 AM
Reserved parking for the 11:00 AM game on July 4. Rental ID not available. GPS led us through routes closed for the Fireworks celebration, causing a delay. Upon arrival, a local informed us that an earlier car parked incorrectly, occupying part of our space. The adjacent spots were monitored by a strict towing service. Warned of potential towing, we contacted the provider for a solution. They offered a refund and to cover alternative parking. The alternative was 2.5 miles away, which was impractical. We self-sourced a $40 spot but the provider later refused to reimburse us despite the promise, adding to our frustration.

I reserved a parking spot through SpotHero on 5/16/2022 for my daughter's graduation ceremony in RadioCity Hall on May 22, 2022. The reserved parking time at *** was 12pm to 6pm on 5/22/2022. On this day of 5/22/2022, when I tried to enter the parking garage around 12:10 pm, the street leading to the parking garage was closed and sealed off to the public due to a parade. I made round trips back and forth a couple of times to enter the 55th street but it remained closed. In the end, I had to find another parking space and spent more than $60 that I didn't need to spend. When I called SpotHero for refund, they said they would. But it is only words and nothing is happening and they don't even respond to my email request. I don't think they are professional since they should have known the road closures before selling parking spots to customers.
On May 9, 2022 spot hero connected me with a parking spot that didnt exist. The valet never showed and the restaurant that it was supposedly set up with was closed. I was taking my 3 year old to a hockey game and set parking up with them to be able to be close to the area. Instead, We then had to pay to park somewhere else and walk the better part of a mile to get to the game. Then, to put a cherry on top of their fraudulent scheme, they didnt even fully refund us. Instead, they made up some BS story about the spot being used during a time period in which we werent even there and only offered us a $5 refund on a $30 parking charge.
I used Spot Hero for parking in an undisclosed location from May 28th to May 30th. I found several advertised parking spots from Spot Hero with adequate reviews. I booked a spot accordingly and used the app. However, upon the return of my vehicle, I discovered $100 was stolen from my console along with a package of gummy bears. Never in any of the reviews was there a concern for theft reported with Spot Hero or warnings of theft associated with this parking garage. Their misleading advertisement led me to believe this was a safe place to park. It was not. I want a refund of $100 for the distress of being robbed and the unsettling knowledge that someone rummaged through my car's compartments to find items to steal. I would also like them to revise their review policy to include honest experiences or allow for written reviews, so other consumers do not have to endure what I did.
I paid for 7 hours of parking at a Spot Hero parking garage in a downtown area, from 3pm to 11:30 pm. When I arrived at the parking garage, the gentleman told me the garage closed at 5pm and I would have to leave my car parked in the garage overnight to be picked up in the morning. I paid to park there for 7 hours, and could not leave my car, so I parked elsewhere. I tried to email the support team but the email provided is actually invalid, and I called the toll-free support number, which is just a cell phone that goes straight to voicemail. I don't know if the site I used was illegitimate, but I will be disputing the charge with my bank. I advise other customers to call the actual parking garage before making reservations from the SpotHero website.
I pre-reserved a parking spot using SpotHero's iPhone app
I pre-reserved a parking spot using SpotHero's iPhone app. The reservation was for Monday, June 6th with a start time of 8:30am and an end time of 6:30pm, it was quoted for ~$26.00.I arrived at the parking garage around 8am, ~30 mins early, but the app had an option to update your start time so I updated it to 8:00am; when I did this, the End Time jumped to 4am, Tuesday June 7th and would not let me change it. I repeatedly clicked the Help option, it said I could update the end time, but I could not. I ended up being charged ~$52.99, even though I exited the garage at ~5:00pm on Monday June 6th.I emailed the issue to SpotHero, perhaps there was an issue with the app. I received a communication back stating they added a $5.00 credit to my account for my next reservation. I responded stating the issue, again, and have not heard back. I continue to follow up with no response. I am seeking a refund for the ~$26.99 that I was charged in error for.The fact that I am not receiving any further response from them is very frustrating.Thank you.

I had a reservation with a parking garage, for 10.99 when I arrived the garage said that they wouldn't except no more cars even with a reservation. I called spot hero customer service to resolve the issue because I had less than 5 min to find another place to park and go to work. When I got the representative who's name was Rebeekha she tried to book me a reservation at another location that I was too far from my current location and my job, I told her about another location and she never offered to look it up just said no she couldn't do anything. I literally had to just leave my car at some lot to charge me $90 because the customer service team was incompetent and also now I have no money to pay for this but now I will have no choice because I this company has left me stranded with no help, no supervisor, no manager. No other personnel to help. I am really angry and disappointed that I had to deal with all this and the fact that someone wasn't able to do a simple thing of fix the issue with there lot and transfer my current reservation to another lot and they couldn't. Instead they cause extra issues

I made a reservation with Spothero on 7-16-22 for a parking place when I was seeing a *** concert down town. When I arrived at the assigned parking deck and approached the valet parking as instructed, I was informed that they did not cooperate with SpotHero and would not honor the reservation that I made for $32.10. I did end up parking in the parking deck but had to pay an additional fee to park for the evening on top of the $32.10 I had already paid. I immediately called SpotHero, they said they did not know what was wrong. Instead of refunding the money that I paid for a reservation that was not honored they made me jump through hoops. Since there was no person at the booth when I exited I paid with a credit card and was not given a receipt for the additioal amount I paid. SpotHero wanted copies of my bank statements to show the additional amount of money I had to pay. I am not sending this company copies of my banks statements or personal information. It is very simple, I paid for a service that was not honored/provided by their vendor as promised. I called them immediately and reported the issue. They have refused to give a refund even thought they did not provide the promised service. They are the biggest scam!

I used Spot Hero to get a parking spot for lunch and paid via the app for parking for 3 hours
I used Spot Hero to get a parking spot for lunch and paid via the app for parking for 3 hours. I arrived at the location and scanned the code they gave me and all was good, no errors or notifications or anything. I parked and had lunch and went to go home and the gate would not open, So the attendant came and was extremely condescending and told me that I have to pay again, Why would I have to pay again for parking when I already paid via Spot Hero. I told that to the attendant and he said he has nothing to do with Spot Hero and that since I arrived a few minutes early I have to pay extra, No where on the parking pass did it state that, I have included a screen shot, and I was leaving over an hour earlier than the time I had reserved. I contacted Spot Hero and they basically told me not their problem and they would not do anything about it. This seems like a huge bait and switch, unless you get there at exactly the prescribed time, not a minute early or a minute late, you will have to pay more. This is false and misleading. If there was an issue, it should have alerted my when I entered. The garage is double dipping and Spot Hero does not care. No where on that parking pass does it say I will or may or might or there is a chance or anything to that effect. It says paid!

I paid for a parking spot at a designated location for overnight parking, but my car was towed.
I paid for a parking spot at a specific location for overnight parking, but at around 3 AM, my car was towed from the lot. I contacted the towing company and was charged $502 to retrieve my vehicle. They billed me for a heavy-duty tow, claiming my car weighed over the limit, but the documentation proves it's a light-duty vehicle. I suspect the parking service may be colluding with the tow company to maximize profits from unsuspecting visitors. Despite paying $20 for the spot, the parking service claims my license plate wasn't in their system, though I've used it multiple times. They're refusing to cover the tow fee, arguing they only rent out spaces, not manage the lots, despite having a contract with the towing company. The parking service offered to refund my $20 and a $50 credit for future use, but I'm puzzled how I can use this credit if I'm considered a guest and not a registered user.

I bought parking in a city for a weekend via Spot Hero but faced issues.
I bought parking in a city for 6/17 via Spot Hero. The site listed the location with specific instructions and a price of $16.75, which I paid. Upon returning on 6/19, I found 3 tickets on my car. It turned out I parked in Lot 22 instead of the paid Lot 35D. Despite the confusion, Park Place offered to reduce the fines to $20. Spot Hero, however, did not assist, stating the ticket was valid. I'm puzzled why I owe more when I followed Spot Hero's directions.

On Thursday, March 17th, a parking spot was reserved and paid for near a popular venue. The spot was reserved for a customer. The location was on N 6th Street Lot. Rental ID was provided. Enter after Friday March 18, 2022, 11:00 AM. Exit before 5:00 PM. SUBTOTAL: $45.00 Service fee $0.75. Total charged to card $45.75. We arrived at the address at 11:30 AM. Construction vehicles occupied the lot. The construction manager was shown our confirmed parking pass receipt, which had a picture of the nearby building. A red and yellow Impark sign indicated Event Parking Only with the lot's address. It had directions to pay online via SpotHero. The manager informed us that the building was being prepped for demolition. He contacted the owner, who confirmed the lot was private property and parking was not allowed. We had to find alternative parking and pay again. I request SpotHero to credit $45.75 back to my card. We found this location through SpotHero's listings. I trust SpotHero will issue a refund for the inconvenience. Thank You.

On April 8, 2022, I purchased tickets to the San Francisco Giants baseball game on Sunday, June 12, 2022 via Ticketmaster.com. Once I concluded my purchase, Ticketmaster linked me to Spothero.com to purchase parking for game day. I purchased a parking spot at *** Garage for $50.99. My rental ID # was ***. I was scheduled to enter the parking garage Sun 6/12/2022 after 11:05AM and exit 6/12/2022 before 5:05PM (6 hours). I received an email from Spothero on 4/8/2022 confirming my parking purchase and a reminder email on 6/11/2022. When I arrived to the parking garage on 6/12/2022, there was no parking attendant and the gate to the parking garage was closed. I went inside of the *** lobby and the receptionist advised me that parking was for hotel guests only and that Spothero had no rights to sell their parking. She also said that the hotel has asked Spothero several times to stop selling parking passes to their garage. As a result, I had to spend time circling around *** trying to find another parking lot with available parking which ultimately made us late to the baseball game. I ended up finally finding another lot that was further away and cost $100. I called Spothero's customer service that day and they agreed to refund the $50.99. I received the refund on 6/19/2022. However, Spothero should also refund the additional $49.01 that I had to pay on game day due to their egregiousness in selling parking they have no right to sell and the inconvenience I experienced in having to find alternative same day parking. Parking that was ultimately more expensive and further away from the ballpark.

We arrived in a city from another city on Tuesday August 23rd
We arrived in a city from another city on Tuesday August 23rd. We arrived 15 mins after our designated parking reservation time of 3:00pm at a parking facility. Unbeknownst to us, the parking operator no longer did business with the booking service. The service gave us a credit for future use and refunded our initial charge. I spoke to customer support regarding the lack of notice to find alternative parking and being stuck to pay more for our 2 nights instead of the original charge. Support promised reimbursement upon receipt submission. At 70, I did not want a future credit as I seldom use the service. I wanted reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses since there was no timely notification to change plans. I sent my receipt but was later informed of a miscommunication and that direct refund was not possible. Complaintsboard.com, please address such issues to prevent businesses from exploiting customers. The promise of compensation for the inconvenience followed by a denial is unfair. Warmly

I was billed for 7 days at a $65/day rate, despite reserving 6 days through Spot Hero at a $40/day rate and attempting to extend by an additional day. The garage at which my car was parked had availability, but the app would not process the payment for the extension due to an unexplained error - despite multiple attempts. Because I was not in a position to move my car, I actually attempted to reach SpotHero customer experience at the time of this extension error but was directed to an answering machine on two occasions - and did not receive a call back. It's worth noting that I had to make four attempts at the point at which I was trying to solve this with the garage, in order to finally reach Spothero. As a result of this inability for the app to process my payment I ended up paying 7 x $25 = $175 more than intended, and 6 x $25 = $150 more than expected - as I did not realize that all of my days in the garage would be charged at a higher rate because this is not made clear by the app. Had this been the case, I would have spent even more time trying to get a hold of your customer service (it was only later that I realized you just have to call and call and call, in order to finally reach a human). I have gone back through the app process, and feel very strongly that the way in which this cost mechanism is described is unfair and deceptive. Moreover, the inability of the app to process a payment at the point of extension, such that a higher fee is charged seems very much like a bait-and-switch, particularly when your customer service is completely unavailable. I have now spent hours on the phone with one of your reps trying to resolve this, with only a small credit being given for the $150+ increase in cost and all of the time needed to try to work this out. By the way, it also seems the unsatisfactory app credit can not be applied through the app for monthly rentals - which is now another piece of information that is not disclosed in your product.
I used Spot Hero for parking downtown and encountered issues with incorrect directions.
I reserved parking downtown via Spot Hero on two occasions in April. Unfamiliar with the area, I used the app's navigation feature. Despite following directions, I received a $80 citation after parking in the suggested garage. Spot Hero initially agreed to dismiss the tickets but later retracted, stating my reservation was for a different garage. I demonstrated the app's error with a screen recording, but they only refunded my reservation cost and a small credit, not the fines.

Spot Hero advertises a savings of up to 50%. I reserved a spot to go to Summerfest in *** on a Saturday for $35. When I got to the parking garage, the normal price was only $15. I feel ripped off and disappointed.
I prepaid for a reserved parking spot and after driving over 100 miles with the sense of confidence I had a spot waiting for us, we find the parking lot full and no where to park! Drove around over an hour looking for parking then had to drive quite a ways away to a lot and take a bus back to ***! Missed part of the concert because of this! What a joke! Do not use these people to park you will not have a spot waiting for you!
I also fell for the Spothero SCAM and paid for a non-existent parking spot for a Red Sox baseball game. I spent enough time in the alley to confirm that my numbered spot did not exist. I eventually left and found a legitimate parking lot. The very next day I called Spothero and was told I would receive a refund. That was a lie. I should have done more initial research as I would have seen that many people online tell how Spothero has ripped them off. Stay away! The good news is the Red Sox won that day!
