SquareTrade review: Extended warranty coverage for 58" rcs 4k uhd roku tv

I purchased a 58" RCA 4K UHD ROKU TV from Walmart on July 27,2022. Due to this being my first large TV I purchased the 4 year Square trade Extended warranty. On September 22,2024 the TV totally stopped working. I immediately started a claim with Square trade. Monday September 23,2024 I received an e-mail requesting 2 pictures and a 10 second video.
I responded within an hour of receiving the e-mail. I then received an e-mail stating they had all my information and would have a decision within "One Business Day". Tuesday morning I received an e-mail requesting another video. I called and told the agent it was totally ridiculous sending a second video of a dead non-working TV. I started to get smoke & mirrors push back and requested a Supervisor. When this Supervisor gave me a hard time I requested her Supervisor. Then had to request her Supervisor and had to request her Supervisor. This is now day three of their "One Day Turnaround". Supervisor number 4 finally escalated my claim and it was approved for a replacement TV.
Today is now day 4 (of their One Day Turnaround) and getting smoke blown up my butt due to my refusal to accept another RCA TV. I threatened to call Corporate office and was informed within an hour I would be sent 3 replacement TV choices. Almost the close of business day and still no e-mail.
Square Trade is horrendous to deal with as they can come up with every excuse not to pay a claim. Sadly Walmart does not offer a second extended warranty company to purchase from. It's either Square Trade or pray your TV lasts longer then 2 1/2 years,and sadly,all TV manufacturers only offer a One Year Factory Warranty so your forced to buy an extended warranty and watch your blood pressure go off the scale trying to jump through all the hoops they put you through to avoid paying out a claim.
