I bought car from Star Auto Sales of Modesto, inc. The cruise control and horn don't work. I took it in for service since it's still under warranty. I picked it up three days later and the problem wasn't fixed. I called them many times, but they didn't call me back. They said they use a mechanic who only works at night. This isn't okay since I expect a business that employs mechanics who work during normal business hours. Help me, please!

Bought a 2013 Ford Flex from Star Auto Sales in Feb. Had lots of problems from the start and tried to give it back and get our old car back, but they said no. Since we got it, there's been lots of problems with the car's mechanics and electronics. We tell the used car dealer and they make an appointment with their mechanic shop. But they won't pay for any work done somewhere else. Right now, the car's electrical system is messed up. The headlights went out for the third time and we found a bunch of wires wrapped in tape or cut and spliced together. They changed or messed up the factory headlight wires.

Bought car from lot & same night car started to have problems. @ my house the car alarm started to sound & would not shut off. Placed a call to *** & he gave the number of the locksmith. Locksmith suggested to disconnect the battery & that resolve the issue @ time. The next 1-2 day the car stopped driving would not go into gear on the freeway. Placed a call to ***, told to bring it in. We were able to get it into gear to get home. Car was towed to the shop next day & after 5 days they determined the clutch was burnt out. I was charged 400 for replacement. After 1 day of having car back noticed that the horn did not work now when pressed & randomly horn would start going off. Did not fix, *** stated that we must have done something to the car, he blamed the horn on my boyfriend. *** then told me to have my boyfriend come down to demo his driving. I refused this @ took car to alarm shop. Found broken electrical to steering wheel when inspected. Payed out of pocket.

This place is a joke! They sell nothing but faulty vehicles and are bullies. I paid cash for my car, signed the papers, and drove only 2 miles down the street when my check engine light turned on. I turned around and went back to the dealership where they ran the diagnostics and more than 8 codes came up. They said they wouldn't refund my money but they would take the car back and use it as credit towards another vehicle. So, I picked out another car off their lot, signed the papers, and drove 2.5 miles at most when my engine seized and the car stopped, going from 45 to 0 instantly. I called the dealership and explained what had happened, but they called me a liar and told me my engine didn't do that. The salesman came out to try and turn it over, but when it wouldn't start, they towed the car back to the dealership for a third time. They voided their contract but still refused to refund my money. They said that this would be their last time trading the faulty car they just sold me. Needless to say, car number 3 was also faulty. I'm out my money and a car. These people are slimy thieves.
