Don't know if the Saratoga, CA., Starbucks changed hands recently or what.
Used to be a fairly bright, clean and friendly place to stop and get a brew.
Stopped by a couple of weeks ago and noticed all the trash on the floor, overflowing trash bins and dirty tables.
This was not usual.
This morning I stopped by about 7:30 am and went in to use the bathroom.
It was worse then something in the middle of the Nevada desert!
The floor was filthy, the walls grimy and a big blob of duct tape stuck on the inner door.
The toilet had dried feces around the rim.
The store has chipped paint in the hallway, lights are burned out in the ceiling and in general, has been let go into a state of disrepair and inattentive management.
Have been really surprised, as any other Starbucks I've been to has never looked like this.
Hope someone can clean this up as it looks bad for the cahin and even bad for the city of Saratoga.

The top pops off when picked up, hot coffee went all over our car and clothes both times. When walking it back into the store the employees said "let us guess, the lid popped off". We have been customers for over 10 years, spending about $3000 a year. Not happy!
We were not offered any solution to the mess in our car which had to be detailed both times, not even a free coffee.
unclean food warmer
On Monday Sept 09th between 8:15 and 8:30 at the Amack Union Station Washington DC,
A Starbucks Cafe is located across from the waiting room for train riders near gate b and c. I went in to get something to eat I ask for a cheese danish I was asked if I wanted it heated I said yes it was heated in a warmer she put the danish in the warmer without cover, when she gave it to me covered I just took it to the train waiting room and and open it to find black specks on the cheese, I took it back and show her. she gave me another one and she did it the same way warmed it without cover i asked her did this one have specks on it she assured me it didn't and when she hand it to me covered I uncovered it right in front of her this time.
There it was the same black specks so I ask her politely to take it back and heat another one this time I told her to put a napkin over it to heat and nothing was on it after that. The warmer must not have been clean and all the crumbs got burned and fell on uncovered food when warming, this shows that their appliances must not be cleaned daily because this look like builded up burned crumbs that fell onto the cheese. You would think she would have thought to cover it I had to tell her to do that after the second one came out covered with black specks she act like it was nothing to it coming out that way.
At first I was not going to say anything about it then I thought about it again and decided to tell about my experience at Starbuck and how they were possibly not keeping there equipment clean that is being used to heat customer's food and who knows what other equipment could be involved . I did call the complaint office so they would be aware of the practice of some of their employees.
starbucks keurig cups (specifically french roast)
We have noticed recently that when we put in a keurig cup and close the lid it is difficult and makes a big pop. While we were on vacation out of state we noticed with our traveling keurig coffee maker we did not have that problem with coffee we purchased out of state. But, when I put in a keurig cup we had purchased back home, same thing big pop.
So has Starbucks change the texture (denseness) of the material in your cups?
If that is true we will stop buying Starbucks coffee because it will eventually ruin our Keurig Coffee maker
matcha latte grande
i ordered a Matcha Grande extra hot. normally this wouldn't be an issue but I ma having a bad day and thought this would be a nice treat. I took my latte back to my office ( 4 mi walk) it was all foam and luke warm. This was very frustrating. I attempted to lift my mood with one of your drinks but instead it only worsened.
I needed to debrief and let you know that these special drinks are already expensive and to not be fully satisfied with the experience is incredibly disappointing.

Ordered 5 drinks via mobile order. Ran in-and-out to grab them. I think at least one ingredient was missing from all 5 drinks. Disappointing $22. No milk in iced coffee with milk. No whip cream in mocha. Pumpkin spice seemed very watered down. I spend a lot of money at Starbucks on a regular basis. Premium pricing should come with a premium experience.

The cashier who's taking out order is very arrogant and not friendly at all, she even give us a wrong order and mixed out name on the cups, she didn't even ask us if we want frappe or iced! We order 3 white chocolate (1 hot and 2 frappe) but she gave us 2 iced! Which not acceptable and she even saying like what is this! Her name was ERL on her name tag! defective coffee mug lids
Hello,
I purchased 2 coffee mugs from one of the Edmonton Starbucks locations totaling over $60. In less than a week the lids clasps on both broke not closing any more. I took them back to the store and with some hesitation the manager exchanged the lids. Not two weeks later the new lids have broke again. I no longer have the receipts and this is clearly a defective product. I called customer service and they told me there was nothing they could do and that there is no warranty on the mugs. I mentioned this is definitely a defect as now 4 mug lids have broke with minimal use and they told me sorry they cant do anything. I am surprised that a company as large as Starbucks cant compensate for a defective product and providing no solution. Especially Very Very poor customer service on the customer service line!
mobile order - cocoa cloud macchiato
I ordered a venti via mobile order, but when I came to pick it up the cup was only half full. It also did not have any of the syrups in it. The milk was gross and lumpy and I couldn't drink it. I placed the order and was there for pickup within 5 minutes total, so I wasn't just late to pick it up. It really is disappointing to pay extra for a bigger size and find you've gotten the same amount as if you'd paid less. This is the second time this has happened. The baristas looked really busy so I didn't want to bother them to remake the drink (plus I was in a hurry, which is why I used mobile order to begin with), but I would like my money back please.
the ice shaken coffee
Dear Starbucks,
I have been a customer for almost 15 years now.. I used to take 3 to 4 times iceshaken 1 pump of white mocha.. because I only use one pumb or half bump they always used to be free and paid like classic iceshaken.. since two days they decided to charge the 1 pump and that's not fair at all.. 1 or 2 or 3 are the same! I pumb should not be charge like always .. and dis diecsion is not good for starbucks customers.. iam really disappointed and am thinking of stop drinking starbuck to something else. diluted coffee content

Today I ordered Flat white for take away, but, i drove my car and started drinking my coffee, which tasted too weird, like diluted coffee on milk (with a bit of caramel flavor).
It's not my first time to have Flat white from this branch, Today's coffee was the worst ever. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go back to complain.

I went to drive thru starbucks today and bought 2 hot white mocha, gave my card to the cashier, first swipe the reciept says inoperating, second swipe was by wifi of my debit card and it worked, but i recieved 2 messages from my bank stating the deduction of 77.50 AED twice, both done at 7:05am today 22 august 2019

defective cup
I ordered a venti vanilla sweet cream cold brew and upon leaving the store, I was holding my cup firmly. The whole cup split in half along with the lid. My whole drink spilled everywhere. I think this cup was defective because it split so badly. I have never had this happen before and I have been a very loyal starbucks customer for a long time. I would like a new drink to amend this issue.

Your employee Vickie is one of the slowest, laziest, uninterested and uncaring Starbucks employees I have ever have the misfortune to encounter. No greeting no thank you no I'm sorry when she totally screws up your order, and certainly no sense of urgency of getting people in and out, thank god no one is on a schedule or in a hurry! The gentleman that had to work with her was doing an amazing job, thank goodness he was there, the line would have been 50 deep instead of only 25.
deceive consumers - not comply with their own commitments for a discount activity
Chinese mid-autumn festival is coming thus the Starbucks Taobao(China) Official Flagship Store (Starbucks星巴克官方旗舰店) released a discount activity -- buy a ¥598 voucher for 10 moon cakes(small but nice) plus another discount coupon. I bought the voucher by followed all the activity instructions and even queried the service about how the discount coupon work before I paid for it. Guess what? I get NO COUPON and the service shirk responsibility and said this is all my faults. Excuse me? I just follow all the information they post but cannot get the thing they promised and now I should pay for it?
I need their apology and the coupon equivalent value refund.
The complete process is:
The Starbucks Taobao shop (online) was selling a voucher between 11st Jul. and 12nd Aug. for the mid-autumn festival. This activity required to pay for it before 12nd (inc. 12nd) Aug. and while you received the voucher(the shop mails the voucher thus will take 2 more days for shipping) you can scan the QR code on the voucher to get another discount coupon, and all the advertising slogan show the same message to customer. Therefore, I bought the voucher at 12nd Aug. when I saw that advertising and received the voucher at 14th.
Then I found I could not get the discount coupons through scan the QR code provided on the voucher. While I asked the customer service online, he said "this discount coupon QR code should be scan before 12nd Aug., but you scan it on 14th. At that time, it was expired."
WTF! No one tell me that thing while I was querying the service about this activity, even when I asked the provisions on 12nd Aug., and now, they are playing the "Chinese word game" which just say "that word means you should BUY & SCAN, not only buy" and refuse to do anymore explanation.
I think they did not show/tell the truth about the discount coupon deadline to customer, and encouraged me to buy an unable discount coupon, it is a TOTALLY DECEITFUL ACT!
