Best rate guarantee
January 25, 2017. I am complaining about the very misleading best rate guarantee. On the SPG website, it says that if I find a rate lower than their rate, they will take 20% off the lower rate. I found a rate of $587 on the spg website and a rate of $574 on hotels.com. for the same room and the same dates. I have been given nothing but the run around and excuses by spg not to honor what they write in their website. I have even sent them proof of the lower rate, but they still come up with excuses. I would like to have their commitment honored as per their website. I have complete documentation of everything. How do I send it to you? I am afraid that I am a senior and not tech savvy. I have printed out the documentation. Is there an address to which I can send it, please?
Double Charge
I purchased a vacation package (Hotel and Airfare) from Southwest Airlines. A month and half after my vacation ALOFT Hotel charged my credit card for the hotel stay. Multiple phone calls always resulted in the same response (a lie). Oh were sorry, we will take that charge off right away. Five phone calls later I am getting the same answer and the hotel has still not credited my credit card.
