Hi there, So can someone at Brentwood Steers explain to me how it takes a full hour and 15minutes for my order to get delivered to my front door and then it ends up the food is cold. I will never order from Brentwood Steers again as they have no sense of time nor customer service so you have lost a client and you can forget about us supporting you

Good afternoon
Very disappointed food is expensive and that is the way I received my hamburger last night was cold, but one side of burger of soggy. They even did not make effort to put the tomato on top and so little lettuce thus not look like the photo on your website. It taste if the patty was made the morning is was very dry almost like rubber. With this service of that branch I would not even give them a 1 star, there is so much other things I would like to talk that bother me, people in kitchen cant put there hands in waste bin and after that work with the food, and I saw once also they scratch stuff of the roll and re-use it again. See my foto's please and another thing the cheese is not even melted and looks old.

I placed an order online of Bacon and Cheese Steak burger with large fries and coke zero via steers app at 19:33 for delivery. I didn't get my order despite it being a quick service fast-food restaurant. I had to call them 4 times from 20:19 until 20:50 asking where is my order. The first time I called they said driver just left the store with just my order only. Driver arrived a few mins before 9 and gave me an incorrect order. I called the store and asked them to kindly prepare me a fresh, hot meal, just before I left the driver arrived, I took the food back and got a new meal that was also cold and unappetizing. It's unprofessional, unpleasant and unacceptable to treat customers like that and have them wait for over and hour, whilst the shop is utilizing 1 driver, charging me R15 for delivery that never comes. It's not the first time I had the experience with this food chain, debonairs did same thing last year, fish aways early this year. Not even an apology, but hey no one cares about customer service, zero [censored]s given. I'm disappointed in steers and hoping to never deal with again. I know you will not take action. I'll also write a review on Hello Peter, I also rated that steers 1 star on google.
prices varies from menu to the cashier!!!
Why do they charge an extra R1.00 on a product on your menu advertised for R39.90.
The price on the menu = R39.90 yet at the till I had to pay R40.90. It's not about the R1.00 difference it's about the way you conduct business! If you get an additional R1.00 per customer for every purchase daily then surely someone is making money?

I ordered food online from Steers Die Boord Stellenbosch.
The lady calls me to tell me that they don't have 1/4 chicken and then I asked her to change it to a chicken burger and chips.
After waiting for almost an hour for my order to be delivered, I call and follow up.
This time the only have one driver!
For flip sake...when you called me the first time please notify me that you only have one driver.
Your service is VERY BAD.

Ordered a takewaya king Steer combo from the king shaka branch, order was ready in abt 3minutes, should have checked, on getting home the patties were rock hard and inedible,
I had to throw the burger away and settle just for the chips, ,
totally disappointed as I have never had an issue with steers burgers as I am a regular patron.

Cheesy chips
Hi, I had purchased cheesy chips from Galleria mall. I'm extremely angry at the services, as the manager Marlini was present when orders where being made slap dash, we are paying for our quality of food, so why is it that we was given such carp? That's not how the cheese sauce is suppose to be a drizzle. I know that for a fact, I always purchase from the bluff branch and it's absolutely perfect. Good Day, I was at Steers Hunters Retreat on Tuesday. I bought 4 Snack Burgers, 1Jalapeno an Mayo burger and one ribster burger 2 large cheesy chips and one medium cheesy chips total R252.00. Got home and when we started eating the chios it was hard chips like glass potatoes. I live in Sherwood. I have a baby that had an ooeration and cant drive all the way back. I also asked no garnish and yet garnish was on the jalapeno. I waited how long for my food as well. Im very unhappy. This is not the first time that we had bad service and food.

So on Saturday evening my friends and I left the apartment in Roeland street to go grab some steers in long street cape town..
. When we arrived we were helped by a very friendly lady named Nathi who deserves a promotion as she knows more than the manager on duty about service. Our food then arrived separately as we paid separate but paid and ordered at the same time but one person's food came and then we had to wait very long for the next even though it was not full. The chips we received with the first order was worse than what we normally get from the Gatsby shop on the corner as it was burnt and we sent it back, the very friendly lady Nathi then brought new fries which wasn't up to standard again however her friendliness made up for it, we were then still waiting for the other food even though the replacement chips had already arrived... When my order came the specialty chips I ordered was a joke and not up to the standard I usually expect from steers, there was literally cold burnt chips with a whole bowl of sauce, I ended up throwing it away.
I then spoke to Nathi who was going to assist me but then the manager said no they can't do anything about it as Douglas ain't there and she can't handle complaints.
At this time we were already fed up and just left it and thought that was the end of steers, however this morning when I look at my bank statement I see that after all this atrocious service from your store and poor food quality you guys still tapped my card twice which meant I paid for a BAD meal twice... Really disappointed in the service from your store as this is not the standard I expect from steers especially when coming for your famous chips and then being deeply disappointed in it
original steers burger and chips
I was really upset about the quality of the original steers burger and chips I bought on Wednesday evening, 29 th of May 2019 at Steers Die Boord, Stellenbosch at 6:45 pm.
The burger meat patty was ice cold as it came from the fridge. It was not even warmed up.
The chips were raw and very, very oily. There was no seasoning/salt on the chips and nothing was provided. Not even tomato sauce.
I could not eat the meal and threw everything in the dustbin.
I would like a refund and have decided on not buying at Steers again.

I ordered online on the 25th of May at night 22:40 and they canceled my order because they had no driver to deliver to my place, so they called to cancel and said I will get a refund I waited till Monday I thought its a weekend maybe they'll process it on Monday I then sent an email on Monday to steers@steers.co.za requesting my refund they never replied till today.

I placed an order a hour ago online. When I called to the store a gentleman answered, he took my details and asked me to hold. It's been 20 minutes later and I am still holding while the conversations are happening in the back ground. Now apart from the fact that the order cannot be tracked or found so it seems where is the customer service?

We bought a burger with chips today and the quality of the chips as well as the service is disgusting.
We could not eat the chips and had to throw it away.
Further to this, the service is pathetic, actually there is no service at all.
What is even worse, it is not the first time that we had a bad experience at this place!

I was on my way home frm work and wanted to buy supper. There was a choice of wimpy or steers but I opted for steers. When I got to the chatsworth plaza steers. It was a bit busy and looks like they were short staffed. One customer passed a remark. Looks like urll hate wednesdays. I placed a order for 4 burgers with cheese. One special order was no garnish or sauce on 1 burger. I waited almost 45 mins. When I get hme. The pattie is half raw half done. All the burgers had garnish and sauce. Poor preperation. Short staff working under pressure is letting urlls name down. Terrible!

I ordered a chicken burger from steers on the 10 May 2018 from the musgrave franchise Durban my husband ordered a beef burger. When he went to collect they prepared 2 beef burgers. I do not eat beef. My husband informed the manager of the issue and waited for them to prepare a chicken burger. When I bit into it I noticed it was raw and uncooked. PHOTOS are enclosed as proof. I immediately contacted the manager who advised that she will escalate to the owner. When speaking to the owner he was unapologetic and simply requested his staff to collect the burger from my home. This is a serious health hazard. There are a number if bacterial infections that is contracted by eating raw chicken. I was completely in disgust. I was sick. This service is appalling. The owner was unapologetic. The staff came to.my home and picked up the raw burger. I have not received any compensation or refund.Will never eat from Steers again.

Everybody worked yesterday 1/5/2019 in my house . so i decided to take my family last nite out for dinner. my daughter suggested Steers CAPE GATE . we got there just after 7. i place my order explain to the lady no tomatoes and while i was telling her she was talking to one of the staff behind her. she then said she cannot take any orders because they are out of Buns.i said REALY? After 7 a Public holiday no buns i said. the lady said she can only take orders for chips. i was so disapionted.i will never reccoment peeps to go to a STEERS

I had a horrendous experience tonight at a steers branch in Newcastle. I was buying a milkshake and I had to wait some time for it to be made, after it was made, they couldn't find a lid to close and then I started getting frustrated cos no one had a nerve to at least update me . After that I just got fed up and asked for my refund to go buy elsewhere. The manager walked in very angry cos the staff couldn't find the lid, went at the back and they got the lid.other staff member said I must be given the milkshake without the lid and the lady at the counter must inform other customers that they have no lids. All this taking place in front of me and no communication with me.
I asked her for my refund and she said no you not going to get it cos there's your milkshake . They spoke upon said you as a branch manager can't even say sorry for the wait. I was angry cos she was shouting me and showed no empathy towards my situation.
We made a scene at the shop and she had no signs of stopping. I used a word [censored] cos of my frustration and she called security on me to get me out of her shop. those are Her words . I'm a good customer of the franchise it be steers, debonnairs and fishaways but I don't appreciate the way I was treated.

I was bumbed by a Steers Queenstown driver during the night without a licence, the guy was flying he damaged my car and didn't have any licence and helmet with him, their managers had to rush and get learners for him, and everyday they have accidents, the drivers are reckless drivers without licences, we are scared to even drive our cars bcoz of this, it's very sad my contact is David [protected] or [protected]

Branch on Kromboom road. Ordered chicken - there was no flavor dispute having ordered hot. The chicken tasted like it was boiled not fire grilled. The wing was so hard it was inedible. I've had this chicken many times at other branch (total Beaufort West) and know it's not meant to taste so poor.
Also the email I typed up on their website was not sending hence this complaint.

Im not a customer that generally complain's but the service I received on the 27th March 2019 deserves a special mention. It's left a very very bad taste and as a loyal customer who always buys wacky wednsdays religeioulsy without fail for the past 10years I honestly think I will stop, all because of two ladies who obviously don't like their job hense their attitude /service. On the 27th March 2019 around 16:00 I made my way to steers in heavy traffic conditions to treat myself with 2steers burger one for me one for my wife. At 17:04 I was served by a lady called Xontelo Stella cashier who took my order. I waited for approximetly waited 16min which is way longer than I normally wait before I decided to cancel my order. I was a bit annoyed with the fact that the orders where the on the counter and the ladies working the where having a fat chat as if they don't see a long line of people waiting. So as I cancel my order this packing lady makes a sarcastic comment to the cashier in my native language "we will just give the order to someone else" in this case it happened to be the guy who was still standing in the line waiting to pay. They where dismissive and very arrogant in how they delt with me. While I was waiting for my money they served a person standing in the line and they gave him my order. Even he was shocked. At this stage I had been passive watching observing their actions.
Makes me sick. Now I had to esculate. Timothy Majora manager had little to say but gave me names of the staff I wanted to complain about.
